Extracting and understanding of emotion is of high importance for the interaction among human and
machine communication systems. The most expressive way to display the human s emotion is through
facial expression analysis. This paper presents and implements an automatic extraction of facial
expression and emotion from still image. There are steps to detect the facial emotion; (1)
Preprocessing,skin color segmentation and edge detection using Sobel filtering and (2) Verifying the
emotion of characteristic with Bezier curve.Retriving emotion using sparse codewords which are used
to analyze this results in medicine, and enhancement in CBIR.
To evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm, we assess the ratio of success with
emotionally expressive facial image database. Experimental results shows average 66.6% of success
to analyze emotion.

Diesel engines began to be used in automobiles in the 1930s. They are used in many trucks, ships,
buses and small passenger cars in Europe right now.[1] Many believe that diesel engine are heavier,
noisier and generate black smock when running. However, diesel engine s unique advantages can
make them the engine of the future for vehicles. And with much more stringent standard to take effect
in the future, diesel engine s emissions and control technologies are still very much in the forefront.
This paper will cover the developments in diesel vehicles emission regulation and control technology
for NOx, particulate matter (PM) for diesel vehicles.
Regulation
Right now there are two kinds of emission standard in US. One of them is federal standards
established by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and another is California standards.
Since the State of California are facing more severe air pollutant problem than most of other state,
they choose to adopt its own emission regulations. The California Air Resources Board (ARB)
establish engine and vehicle emission regulations that are often more stringent than the federal rules.
Other states can make their own decision to either implement the federal emission standards or to use
California requirements.
After the Clean Air Act Amendments (CAAA) on 1990, two sets of standards have been defined for
light duty vehicles. Tier I standard was published in 1991 and was phased in between 1994 and 1997.
Tier II standard was

agreed upon that for every piece of chicken the restaurant sold, Sanders would get one nickel and he
would deliver a packet of his ready mixed spices to the restaurant so that his recipe would remain a
secret.
Later, by 1964 there were six hundred franchises that had been selling his trademark chicken. This is
when Sanders made the decision to sell his company for two million dollars and became the company
s Goodwill Ambassador. Colonel Sander s became and still is the world s most recognizable celebrity,
with his distinctive goatee, mustache and white suite with a string tie.
