Retail and IT Models India Boasts of a huge unorganized rural retailing system through the 42,000 haats. However organized rural retailing has not taken deep roots in rural India. ITC has set up E-Choupal which they are looking to spread all over the country. Godrej, Tatas, Reliance, Escorts and others are also finalizing their rural retailing plans.
