The process of ordinary cognitive development has often been viewed as an independent, isolated
progress due to inherent, individual, and identically produced growth. However, in current literature,
there has been a growing consensus that socioeconomic status, and its subsequent resources, cannot be

In one study, through the investigation of relationships between socioeconomic status and brain
morphometry, socioeconomic disparities were clearly associated with differences in cognitive

Emerald City Trans Social Club is an all inclusive social and educational group for transgender people
living in the Seattle area.
I learned that transgender is an umbrella term for anyone who is a cross dresser and that for many
people being trans is like a part time job. For one of the guests, Alyssa, being Alyssa is her second life.

Being transgender greatly involves identity, naïve realism, ethnocentrism, and relativism. This relates
to ethnocentrism because one who is not transgender or doesn t have a clear understanding may feel as
though it isn t necessary. I define ethnocentrism as the belief that one s own behavior and beliefs are
superior to others. In many cases, some people have even acted upon their sense of ethnocentrism
committing hate crimes, homicide, or even murder. This is a reflection of their belief that they are

There was nothing else to say. your words can t actually choke you and paralyze your lips but the
feeling of being so scared can also with such a dry throat trying to speak practically felt impossible. I
believe that Elie Wiesel used this in the book to show how when your that scared and your throats that
dry you cant speak, words are almost impossible to form and your lips feel like they cant move to
make what you re saying eligible. A prolonged whistle pierced the air. also personification just gives a
vivid description of how loud and drawn out that whistle was. Elie Wiesel used this to show that in the
midst of everything when that whistle blew it was long and loud that it got everyone s attention. You
could also bring this back to the first piece of figurative language and say how they would be shot like
