Commercial Clause
The Commercial Clause was authorized to forestall different states in the US from setting up laws and
controls that would meddle with the trade and exchange among states, the Constitution has explicitly
delegate to the national government the order and energy to direct the interstate business. In Article 1,
Section 8, the United States Constitution allows the Congress to direct exchange and Commerce
amongst US and remote countries, and among various states in the U.S, and with the Indian Tribes.
The business proviso has mostly affected the business than some other condition in the Constitution.
The business force was at first constrained to interstate trade and it was not material to intrastate
business. Be that as it may, in 1824, the US Supreme Court made a decision working on this issue of
Gibbons v. Ogden and held that the exchange inside the state could likewise be checked by the
government when the trade has a generously influence on the business of the state (Jennings, 2014).

This express the gift of power to the national government, which is regularly alluded to as the positive
part of the trade provision, suggests a negative angle that the states don t have the power to manage
interstate business. The negative part of the trade proviso is known as lethargic business statement.
The torpid trade proviso becomes an integral factor when state controls influence interstate business.
The courts typically measure the state s enthusiasm for managing a specific matter against the weight
that the state s control forces on interests included. It can be to a great degree hard to foresee the result

Victory Lap
Change can be seen as a form of transformation or conversion. A form of change can be seen in
Victory Lap by George Saunders, a short story written in such a way that the events that are enrolling
throughout the story are being processed and told through the minds of three main characters. Having
the perspective of each character allows us, the readers to get a much greater understanding about
them and to make a better character analysis. Having said that, this story is simply about a girl, Alison
getting kidnapped by an unnamed kidnapper. What were really captivating were the changes spotted
on characters as the conflict progresses. One character in particular is very intriguing and his name is
Kyle. One of our main character, Alison ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This overly cautious boy somehow finds himself rushing into the battlefront, where Alison was being
dragged without any plan of action or resolve: What was he doing... (79). We notice here that Kyle
doesn t even realize what he is doing as he incautiously rushes to the damsel in distress. This is quite
un Kyle like for he had not properly conducted solution in overcoming the problem. Quite a change
from the beginning of the story where Kyle would recognize the situation properly and come forth
with proper procedures in order to confront it, like he did when he walked in the house with his shoes
on and when he walked in the house with his dirty socks. Kyle changes from mentally rehearsing an
event to bluntly rushing into action. Kyle was raised in a very strict environment where he would
follow instructions that have been drilled into him all of his life. If he came home he would sign his
name as if punching in and out of a workplace. He has to take of his shoes before entering the house
and he has to record details in Kyle s Traffic Log requested by his dad. This is demonstrated when
Kyle spots the van of the supposed meter reader and proceeds to fill a report on this event: On the
counter was Kyle s Trafiic Log.... Smiling agreeably as if he

Modern Urban Planning in The Life and Death of Great...
Literature Review
Architecture needs to understand what people s needs are and incorporate those needs into the home,
In a developing country like Pakistan, the growth of urban poor is increasing rapidly. Consequently,
the need for shelter is increasing to accommodate the growing urban poor. The housing provided by
the public sector is based on modern conventional zoning practices which do not respond to the
housing needs of the lower income group in the third world countries. In the absence of appropriate
low income housing, the lower income group are left with no other choice but to live in squatter
settlements which are termed as illegal. However, these settlements present ideas that help to develop

Consequently, increasing the level of attachment people have with a neighbourhood adding to its sense
of place.
Along with it, the idea of mixed use zoning, ensures the constant presence of people at different times
throughout the day for different purposes and where they overlap, they promote the idea of human
interaction. The idea of a shorter block and network of narrow streets put forward in the book
promotes the idea of human interaction since it provides different possibilities of reaching the same
location; encouraging informal encounters and interactions. This book helps to understand how certain
physical environment and sociological setup helps in building a sense of community of a
neighbourhood.
How can our acts of making become more effective by working with rather than against human
patterns of use and interaction, elaborating forms of life and knowledge embedded in urban
environments?
Taking the research further, the book The New Urbanism: Toward an Architecture of Community by
Peter Katz elaborates on the theory of New Urbanism and present principles that focus on the idea that
certain physical setup can enhance a social behaviour. The New Urbanism theory came forward in the
1980s as a response to the urban sprawl of the suburbs based on single use conventional planning
practices .The reason being that such prevailing patterns have lost the charm the emphasize on the
public realm of the traditional

Negative Effects Of European Expansion During The 16th And...
European expansion during the 16th and 17th century was considered an assault on the non European
world because of the number of negative effects that European presence caused. The first major effect
was the African slave trade, which had a negative impact on the indigenous people. The need for
laborers increase and since the Native Americans fell susceptible to disease; the Europeans went to
Africa for their workers. According to the first presentation, Europe s Assault on the World, The most
tragic and reprehensible impact of European expansion was the revival of slavery, which had all but
disappeared from Europe by the year 1000. (Slide 17). Another negative effect that European
expansion caused was the spread of only one culture. According to the third presentation, Europe s
Assault on the World, From the earliest stages of prehistory the cultural trends had always been
toward differentiation. (Slide 2). However, Europeans felt they were superior to everyone else and
would disturb other cultures they encountered. Religion was one area where they felt they knew
everything and possessed the correct one. Christianity, the Europeans thought was the one true
religion. According to the reading, Their religion was always present as a cultural fact and this gave
Europeans the assurance that they were superior to the peoples they came in contact with for the first
time. This would often result in violent exchanges between the two groups. The arrogance of the

Catch 22 Essay
In order to be grounded you must be crazy, but if you ask to be grounded, you must not be crazy
anymore, so you have to continue flying (Heller 40). This is the justification of what a catch 22 is.
Insane behavior and the fight for freedom are both acts, which transpire in Catch 22. Yossarian, a
squadron captain is in World War II flying a plane and fighting for his country. Though trying to get
out, he knows there is only one way, and that would only get him away from all of the terror. This
brings the reader to the theme of the play, escape. Insanity is the only sane way to deal with an insane
situation (Heller 78). Joseph Heller s Catch 22 explains an insight of which a paradox providing no

speaking, I am currently employed at a job making only a small weekly sum of money. Moreover I am
not experienced enough to work somewhere making a larger amount of money. My education is
limited at the moment, so I must stick with my current job (or one like it) or have no job at all. The
whole idea of escape can be applied to most any aspect of life.
To an extent the thought of escape can be universal. People will go great lengths to get out of the
situation they are in. Not always getting out of the situation though, and sometimes becoming
emotionally distressed or even leading to their insanity. Troubles plague all, be they small or large.
Some troubles have an open route for escape and some do not. Doctor Danceka explains.

sacrifices the medical game stands ready to make? I don t want to make sacrifices. I want to make

Essay on Dead Poets Society
Dead Poets Society Many poets and directors believe in the concept of living life to the fullest. In this
quote, by Sir Henry David Thoreau, he shows that we should live life to its fullest and make sure we
make our mark while we still can, so people remember us. In the Movie, Dead Poets Society, a group
of students from the Welton Prep School are moved by the teachings of their English teacher,
Professor Keating. He teaches the boys to be their own boss, leaders and not followers. This quote
relates to the movie because this quote tells what Keating wants to teach his kids. Many events take
place during the movie that asks whether or not Professor Keating s teaching are appropriate, it is also
questionable whether or not he ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
When you look back at your life and realize that you have not taken full advantage of your
opportunities your whole life, you will realize that you may not have lived as good as you could have.
Many people feel that taking full advantage of your life will lead to not regretting a thing in the future.
The way Professor Keating taught was successful in the way that he made his students realize that
they need to live their own lives. . An example is when he teaches the boys Carpe Diem (Seize the
day). In the movie, Tim repeatedly says that when he is trying to win over a girl. Keating is successful
because he teaches Tim to go after what he wants and Tim was persistent enough to keep at it and
winds up getting her. Another example is when Neil decides to be an actor in a play. Even though his
father is against it, Neil does is anyway cause he knows he has what it takes and he feels he has
nothing to lose. I feel that if Keating did not teach his students to be themselves, Neil would have
never gone against his father and he would have never enjoyed his life. When Neil kills himself at the
end I think the blame is on his father because he would not let him do what he wants to do in his heart,
he wasn t being supportive of his sons wants. I feel that Keating had a very positive influence on him.
Because of Keatings teachings, his students learned to live their own lives to the fullest. Professor

The Main Achievements of Disraeli s Ministry 1874 1880 in the Field of Social Reform When
Disraeli was attempting to get back into government in 1873 and 1874, he made a number of speeches
to try to win voters. It is said that the speeches he made, especially the ones he made in Manchester
and at Crystal Palace, were very influential, and vital for the Conservatives recovery, and eventual
victory in 1874. The main target which the Conservative government would be aiming for in the field
of social reform, he said, would be to elevate the condition of the people . If this was his real aim, we
must look at the reforms his ministry introduced, and question whether they actually did elevate the ...

Overall, this was an Act which was exceedingly beneficial for the working man, and if applied in his
area, would improve his lifestyle a great deal. A different problem for the working class at the time,
and therefore a problem for Disraeli when trying to keep their votes, was the long working hours the
working people of England were having to endure. Although it did not satisfy the demands of the Nine
Hours Movement, a pressure group largely supported in Yorkshire and Lancashire, the Factory Act of
1874 did reduce the number of maximum working hours in a day to ten hours allowing a half day on
Saturday. The Factories and Workshops Act of 1878 further reinforced previous factory legislation and
also applied to workshops, where only a dozen or so people worked. For the Conservatives, this was a
good achievement, and it pleased the working class who literally sung the praise of Cross, the man
who had brought in the Acts. This strongly contributed to keeping the support of the working class on
the Conservatives side, which was of vital importance in a time when the working men made up a
large proportion of the electorate. The restrictions Gladstone s government had placed on Trade
Unions had frustrated the working people greatly. Even the Liberals had promised to change, the
Criminal Law Amendment Act of 1871 if they got back into power.

Speech And Communicate With Therapists
to address and communicate with therapists. When working with the Latinx population, therapists and
education professionals should reflect on this child rearing value before encouraging Latinx children
to call them by their first names, as it may be a sign of disrespect for their family to address any
service provider that way within the hierarchical framework they are being brought up to defer to. In
addition, greeting each member of the family within a hierarchical order (starting with parents then
children) can show a Latinx family that the service provider understands this value. If for example, a
clinician goes right up to the child first, it can lead the family to interpret that the professional does not
understanding their culture of respeto, which can create boundaries between them. It also places the
child in a situation where is he or she responds to the greeting before her parents or does not respond
to it, it might be viewed as disrespectful, disobedient or offensive to the family. Knowing the
importance of respeto within the Latinx community helps professionals understand how to interact
with their clients in a cohesive and productive way.
Familismo is another child rearing value found in many Latinx families. It promotes healthy
interdependence within the nuclear and extended family. Extended family, friends and the nuclear
family all take part in raising the child within the Latinx household. The family unit is extended
beyond the family to engulf friends who

Political, Social, Legal And Economic System
Introduction
China, the world s second largest economic power, one of five permanent members of the United
Nations Security Council, and the only Communist Party led authoritarian state in the G 20 grouping
of major economies (Susan V. Lawrence, 2012). Over the last three decades, the value of Chinese
trade has approximately doubled every four years. This rapid growth has transformed the country from
a negligible player in world trade to the world s second largest exporter, as well as a substantial
importer of raw materials, intermediate inputs, and other goods. What businesses must focus on is

Essay On How Did The Roman Empire Divide
An Empire Divided When the massive civil conflict finally ended in 284. It was decided the empire
was too strained and large to be governed by one man in one city. It limited military power. And
created pockets where ambitious generals could become usurpers. No one wanted another Crisis. The
empire was split in two. The Western and Eastern Roman Empires, The West contained Rome, and the
provinces west of the Greek peninsula. The East, often called the Byzantine Empire due to the name
of its capital, with everything to the east. While this helped the governing process of Rome it did lead
to the downfall of the Western Empire. When the East split away, Western Rome lost a significant part
of its territory that generated money for the empire. Most of Western Rome was agricultural with the
exception of North Africa and western Hispania. Both of which would later be taken over by the
Vandals. Western Rome could not sustain itself without the support of the Eastern Empire. Religious

Vandals became pirates, raiding and sabotaging Roman trade throughout the Mediterranean. By the

Ambition In Beowulf, Federigos Falcon And Macbeth
What is ambition? Ambition is the longing to obtain success and power. The literature pieces during
the Anglo Saxon and Renaissance era illustrated the firm aspect of ambition. In Beowulf, Federigos
Falcon and Macbeth ambition is both evident but strong. The characters in the literature pieces
illustrated ambition throughout their triumphant journeys and showcase their braveness, desire, and
power.
Everyone dreams about perhaps one day achieving their goals and dreams that could sometimes be
impossible unless braveness is demonstrated. Why do individuals still try even though their chances
could sometimes be very minimum? Initially, several characters demonstrated the idea of ambition
with their act of braveness. In both the epic poetry Beowulf and the play Macbeth, Beowulf and
Macbeth demonstrated braveness upon many ways. Beowulf demonstrated how you should never be
afraid of anyone or anything size doesn t matter. Beowulf decided to fight the tremendous dragon
without worrying of the outcome. Beowulf showed braveness in the poetry because he did something
that no one else would do, which was to fight the dragon. As mentioned in the poetry no one else
could do what I mean to, here, no man but me (Beowulf 645). Macbeth portrayed his braveness in a
different perspective. Macbeth chased his ambition to become the King he was willing to do anything
for it. Macbeth showed the act of braveness by instead of protecting his king he would kill him.

and a textile museum was the last place I pictured myself at Florida Tech. As soon as I walked in I felt

demonstrated the necessity of reusing waste and finding beauty and detail in everything around us.
The first piece that jumped out at me was by Garry Noland, it was sitting on the ground and looked

Compare And Contrast Zeus And Taurus
In my humble opinion, all of the constellations are beautiful. But none of the constellations attract me
more than the Gemini constellation. I wish I had an elaborate story as to why i m so attracted to the
Gemini constellation, but truth be told, Gemini is my favorite because i m a Gemini! The Gemini
constellation was first discovered by Ptolemy, a 2nd century AD astronomer. Gemini means Twins in
Latin. Without a telescope, it is made up of 85 visible stars. The bordering constellations are Lynx,

Wayne Williams Case Summary
Case Summary. Wayne Bertram Williams: Accused Child Murderer. Between 1979 and 1981, Wayne

murder of two adults. The victim had officers that were an identical match to the fibers in Williams

Williams was believed to be responsible for the murder involving two adults because of the evidence,

Visual Media: Is Seeing Really Believing?
Visual media is often used to express an idea or thought because it can do so in a more succinct
manner than an essay or article. Through a drawing, painting, or photograph, the artist can convey his
message in the few moments it takes to look at the artwork or read the caption. Despite this seemingly
simple medium, a visual media image still uses the three persuasive strategies, Logos, Ethos, and
Pathos, just as a written work does, and often there is the application of one or more fallacies.
Breaking Home Ties, a painting by Norman Rockwell, depicts a father and son, one with a dreadfully
sullen expression, and one with a keen look of anticipation, as they wait for the train that will take the
son away to college for the first time. The father can be seen slumped over, clutching two hats, his
weather beaten farm hat and his son s dapper fedora, in his work roughened hands. The son, in a suit,
matching tie and socks, and gleaming shoes, sits erect with a look of delight on his face as he waits for
the new destination in his life, State U, as proclaimed by the pennant on his suitcase. The family dog
seems to express the melancholy emotion that the father seems loathe to, by resting her head in the son
s lap. It is as if she knows she is absorbing the last moments together with her master.
According to Totallyhistory.com, Rockwell s art form was a style of its own and perhaps best
described as portraits of Americana, and

Castro, Nazzi 1CA5 I. Introduction
For a start, there s disagreement on when the war started and two common dates for when it finished.
In terms of Europe, Russia generally holds that the Great Patriotic War began on June 22nd 1941 with
Operation Barbarossa (the German invasion of Russia) while Western Europe uses September 1st
1939, the German invasion of Poland. Both use the date of Germany s unconditional surrender as the

The immediate trigger for war was the Nazi invasion of Poland, a conquest too far for the allied

isolate neutrophils from whole blood using commercially available separation media that is a mixture
of sodium metrizoate and Dextran 500. The procedure consists of layering whole blood over the
density gradient medium, centrifugation, separation of neutrophil layer, and lysis of residual
erythrocytes. Cells are then washed, counted, and resuspended in buffer to desired concentration.
When performed correctly, this method has been shown to yield samples of 95% neutrophils with 95%

Due to her focusing on writing so much as an exit of treatment and sickness, Hoffman came out with a
book that was beautiful, harrowing, a major contribution to the twenty first century literature (The

In many stories, the concept of a secondary character role is often overlooked and deemed irreverent.
However, in the play Hamlet by William Shakespeare and the novel Fifth Business by Robertson

the fulfillment of Fifth Business . According to Davies, Fifth Business are those roles which, being
neither those of Hero nor Heroine, Confidante nor Villain, but which were nonetheless essential to

Hamlet could theoretically soliloquize the whole play, but it is his conversations with Horatio that
truly reveal what the Prince is really thinking and feeling. For example, insight on Hamlet s troubled
nature is first revealed when Horatio says My lord, I came to see your father s funeral (1.2.176) and
Hamlet sarcastically responds with I prithee, do not mock me, fellow student; / I think it was to see my
mother s wedding (1.2.177 78). Such influence on Hamlet proves that Horatio is valuable in the
interpretation of the recognition and denouncement of Hamlet s inner self. Secondly, Horatio has
proven to be the anchor of reason to the plot; his role as Fifth Business is heavily credited to his
intelligence and rational thinking. From the first scene, Horatio is calm and reasonable, as he is not
afraid to confront and reason with the ghost. He demands it to speak if it knows what the future of
Denmark is:
Speak to me, / If there be any good thing to be done / That may to thee do ease, and grace to me, /
Speak to me, / If thou art pricy to thy country s fate, / O, speak! / Or if thou hast uphoarded in thy ice /
Extorted treasure in the womb of earth, / For which, they say, you spirits oft walk in death, / Speak of
it, stay and speak! (1.1.129 39).

popular and what is deemed proper in terms of music we should be consuming. In 1991, Lollapalooza,
a multi city touring festival in the United States, highlighting alternative culture changed how music
was consumed from there on forward. With the popularity of the festival and the highlighting of the

For the purposes of this paper, alternative music culture while has a wide definition will be focused on
the music culture that was evident in Los Angeles between about 1985 until it became more
mainstream in 1991. This centre of the culture in LA is important because most of the important
record companies were and still are, based out of LA, since there was this centre of culture decision
makers it s not surprising that the city became a hot spot for musicians who wanted to become
recognized. Also important is the sheer size of LA itself, any time you get a city as large as it is you
get a wide variety of people living in a smaller area, communities come together and form various
subgroups. One subgroup evident in LA at this time was those who fell outside the dominate music
groups of the time, mainly, new wave, hip hop and hair metal (Mullen 2005). This subgroup was as
varied as those who did not fall under the alternative heading, musically they could prescribe to
anything from the funk roots of the Red Hot Chili Peppers to the 70 s influenced rock of Jane s
Addiction.
More importantly the people who fell under the alternative culture felt like their voices were not being
heard in the music that dominated the air waves at the time. It can be hypothesized that the alternative
music culture in LA grew out of a rejection of the hyper masculine, misogynistic values of the hair
metal scene that dominated LA and popular music culture for much of the 80 s. A

Essay on Orgon s Incompetence in Tartuffe
Jean Baptiste Poquelin Moliere s Tartuffe is an epic play of hypocrisy, betrayal, and the tale of a
foolish mind. Moliere s choice of protagonist in this play happens to be the most blatantly ignorant
character in the play. Orgon is naive to the villain Tartuffe s hypocritical ways, makes a complete
dunce of himself by uplifting Tartuffe as holy, and failing to pick up the abundance of clues of Tartuffe
being fake. Analyzing this character is rather interesting and at the same time frustrating to read of
someone so ignorant that they fail to see the wolf hiding under the sheep clothing. A fool is a fool
unless they open their eyes to see the truth, and it took Orgon the majority of the play to realize the
truth.

Italy s Fascism
Italy s fascism had at least four principle changes. Until 1925, it was political action seeking an
ideology. Mussolini was many things, but he was not a man of religion because he could never find
one that could satisfy what he looked for in a religion. During this time, Italy was supposed to be a
powerful nation that used capitalistic ideas and the idea of forced union labor to earn money. This was
the time that people focused on economic growth of Italy by forming monopolies and cartels. Alfred
Rocco, a primary theoretician, said that a hierarchal arrangement of capitalism had to be created
because the support of the regimes would guarantee higher wages and employment rates. The second

These experiences make someone involved with other people and forms groups. As the groups
advance and do certain things whether good or bad, the actions of the group tell you a lot about each

behaviors of its individual leader and its group of people so the same philosophy applies. The state,
the individual, and all human associations thus have life, conscience, and will to achieve. That ties all
three concepts together. If a man is separate from his state and people he will surely fail and that was
how he formed his concept of fascism, however, by the time he finished his idea, fascism had fallen

internet. Many times, the information on these platforms are incomplete, incorrect, outdated or plainly
misleading and can be perilous to their consumers [1]. Patients, relatives of patients, or friends of
patients utilize these platforms for a plethora of reasons ranging from guidance on major and minor
health decisions to the desire for support from other users [30]. Support, as used here, could be
emotional, social or financial and is usually gained by patients through the sharing of their personal
medical issues, asking questions or sharing of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, unlike other research that attempt to predict the adoption or success of technologies based
on predefined constructs (antecedents), we argue that the most useful studies on USHI will be those
that attempt to reverse engineer its success, going even beyond standard antecedents with a view to
identifying key components that inform those antecedents which in turn result in the success of the
technology. This approach as proposed by Benbasat and Barki [26] for the technology acceptance
model is believed to be able to help generate actionable information on how to create the antecedents
to the desired success of information technology artifacts. Some applicable theories that can be reverse

High School Transcript Examples
I view my high school transcript as an inaccurate view of my current self. In my freshman and
sophomore years, I still had the careless attitude of middle school that many had already given up.
This laziness significantly injured my transcript and it shows all the times. I chose video games, social
media, or videos over school. All of this changed in my junior year, as I realized the need for me to
step up and participate in school activities so I could succeed in my life. It was an instant turn around
and I believe the current me is best denoted by my junior and senior year scores rather than my
transcript. As for the test scores, I took the ACT exam in my junior year. Naturally, as part of my plan
to reform, I studied profusely

Income Inequalities
You would think that when it comes to carrying your own weight that one would take pride in it and
get it done. Well that is simply not the case all the time. In the world of taxation, the people who are
getting affected the most are the more wealthy people. Most wealthy people carry their own weight
and also pick up the slack of most poor people. For example, taxes pay for government programs like
Food Stamps, WIC, Welfare; just to name a few. Not all poor people can help what their income looks
like and must play the hand they are dealt, but there are many poor people who just wants things
handed to them. Income inequalities are no stranger to the block and have been around for ages. On
one side you have the wealthy people who want their

Stonewall Jackson Qualities Of Leadership
Elizabeth Helton Stonewall Jackson in the Shenandoah Valley: A leadership analysis Among the ranks
during the American Civil War stood men such as Robert E. Lee and Ulysses S. Grant that will be
forever remembered for their leadership qualities. One such man earned his nickname, fame, and
popularity during the Civil War as a Confederate general. Thomas Jackson, more commonly known as
Stonewall Jackson, was a brilliant leader who gained the admiration of all who came to know him. He
gained his popularity from his famous Shenandoah Valley campaign in 1862. With integrity beyond
reproach, he successfully provided direction, purpose (though skeptical), and motivation to those
serving below him during the Valley Campaign.
A native born Virginian, Jackson felt that when it came to war, one must fight with all vigor (Wilkins
347), and fight with all vigor is what Jackson did until his death in 1863. He rarely slept or rested, but
instead trudged wearily along with his men. On first appearances and perceptions, Stonewall Jackson
was commonly underestimated. For instance, Jackson s brilliance was often mistaken for insanity.
Richard Taylor called Jackson a damned old crazy fool. A staff officer reportedly said later that when
we ordinary mortals can t comprehend a genius we get even with him by calling him crazy (Gallagher
311). However, the battles fought in the Shenandoah Valley changed the perception of Thomas
Jackson on almost every front.

Windshield Survey Report
For our windshield survey we decided to assess the city of Melbourne on a Friday afternoon, the day
after summer vacation began. It was a nice sunny yet breezy afternoon, the children and some of their
families were outside walking the streets, sitting on the porch and playing in the park. While assessing
the city I noticed that the area was a low income community and consist of apartments as well as
homes that are in need of cosmetic work. In the neighborhood that I assessed, I noticed that there is
one park which has minimal lighting as well as upkeep. The park resides in a big area right across
from one of the local churches in the neighborhood. Near the area you also have the local library
which is free to the community. It has a huge assortment ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This type of advertisement may be the wrong advertisement this community needs. When it comes to
schools, I noticed that the area had one elementary school. The elementary school parking lot was
empty due to school being out but I did notice school buses still running. I wasn t certain if it was for
summer school or for transportation for church group functions. In the area I have noticed multiple
small churches. They also had community worship centers which took place inside of apartment
complexes. These local worship centers advertised on the board of the school library as well as on the
windows of some of the local convenient stores. Some of the churches in the neighborhood also aid in
reaching out to the families who are in need of food. They have certain hours that they are open to
where families can come in and obtain food for free for their families. It is on a first come first serve
basis and there is a limit. They neighborhood also has a recreational area for those children who are
into sports or other activities and want to better themselves in that area during the

Commercial Clause The Commercial Clause was authorized to forestall different states in the US from setting up laws and controls that would meddle with the trade and exchange among states, the Constitution has explicitly delegate to the national government the order and energy to direct the interstate business. In Article 1, Section 8, the United States Constitution allows the Congress to direct exchange and Commerce amongst US and remote countries, and among various states in the U.S, and with the Indian Tribes. The business proviso has mostly affected the business than some other condition in the Constitution. The business force was at first constrained to interstate trade and it was not material to intrastate business. Be that as it may, in 1824, the US Supreme Court made a decision working on this issue of Gibbons v. Ogden and held that the exchange inside the state could likewise be checked by the government when the trade has a generously influence on the business of the state (Jennings, 2014). The negative part of the trade proviso is known as lethargic business statement. The torpid trade proviso becomes an integral factor when state controls influence interstate business. A different problem for the working class at the time, and therefore a problem for Disraeli when trying to keep their votes, was the long working hours the working people of England were having to endure. Although it did not satisfy the demands of the Nine Hours Movement, a pressure group largely supported in Yorkshire and Lancashire, the Factory Act of 1874 did reduce the number of maximum working hours in a day to ten hours allowing a half day on Saturday. The Factories and Workshops Act of 1878 further reinforced previous factory legislation and also applied to workshops, where only a dozen or so people worked. For the Conservatives, this was a good achievement, and it pleased the working class who literally sung the praise of Cross, the man who had brought in the Acts. This strongly contributed to keeping the support of the working class on the Conservatives side, which was of vital importance in a time when the working men made up a large proportion of the electorate. When working with the Latinx population, therapists and education professionals should reflect on this child rearing value before encouraging Latinx children to call them by their first names, as it may be a sign of disrespect for their family to address any service provider that way within the hierarchical framework they are being brought up to defer to. In addition, greeting each member of the family within a hierarchical order (starting with parents then children) can show a Latinx family that the service provider understands this value. If for example, a clinician goes right up to the child first, it can lead the family to interpret that the professional does not understanding their culture of respeto, which can create boundaries between them. • 26. Visual Media Logo Visual Media: Is Seeing Really Believing? Visual media is often used to express an idea or thought because it can do so in a more succinct manner than an essay or article. Through a drawing, painting, or photograph, the artist can convey his message in the few moments it takes to look at the artwork or read the caption. Despite this seemingly simple medium, a visual media image still uses the three persuasive strategies, Logos, Ethos, and Pathos, just as a written work does, and often there is the application of one or more fallacies. Breaking Home Ties, a painting by Norman Rockwell, depicts a father and son, one with a dreadfully sullen expression, and one with a keen look of anticipation, as they wait for the train that will take the son away to college for the first time. The father can be seen slumped over, clutching two hats, his weather beaten farm hat and his son s dapper fedora, in his work roughened hands. The son, in a suit, matching tie and socks, and gleaming shoes, sits erect with a look of delight on his face as he waits for the new destination in his life, State U, as proclaimed by the pennant on his suitcase. The family dog seems to express the melancholy emotion that the father seems loathe to, by resting her head in the son s lap. It is as if she knows she is absorbing the last moments together with her master. This centre of the culture in LA is important because most of the important record companies were and still are, based out of LA, since there was this centre of culture decision makers it s not surprising that the city became a hot spot for musicians who wanted to become recognized. Also important is the sheer size of LA itself, any time you get a city as large as it is you get a wide variety of people living in a smaller area, communities come together and form various subgroups. One subgroup evident in LA at this time was those who fell outside the dominate music groups of the time, mainly, new wave, hip hop and hair metal (Mullen 2005). This subgroup was as varied as those who did not fall under the alternative heading, musically they could prescribe to anything from the funk roots of the Red Hot Chili Peppers to the 70 s influenced rock of Jane s Addiction. More importantly the people who fell under the alternative culture felt like their voices were not being heard in the music that dominated the air waves at the time.
