Cyber Criminals Are Faceless And Cybercrimes
Cyber criminals are faceless and cybercrimes are now easier and safer for criminals to troll the
internet for unsuspected victims without leaving the comfort of their own home. According to a Police
Executive Research Forum report (PERF, 2014), local law enforcement are struggling with responses
to cybercrimes; Chief Charles McClelland of the Houston police department told PERF, unfortunately,
we haven t properly prepared our officers to handle cybercrime calls (p.20). Cybercrimes are not
limited to credit card frauds, scams, human trafficking, or cyber bullying, but also involves attacks on
national infrastructures to terrorism plots on a larger scale. The post 911 investigation revealed that the
internet played a key role in the attacks, from planning to coordinating to executing the cowardice
acts. As a law enforcement organization, we are facing a new breed of criminals criminals with no
faces or names and our task is to bring them to justice. There is a lack of knowledge in the cyber
world, which the police culture does not fully comprehend. In order to level the playing field, we must
improve IT knowledge through education, commit funding to promulgate cybercrimes units, and
collaborate with local, state, and federal agencies to create a team of teams. The internet is largely
unregulated, therefore, those who are most familiar with it will dominate the virtual world. There is
hope, although cybercrimes are committed via the internet, there is an operator

How Effective Was Opposition To The Nazi Regime Between...
How effective was opposition to the Nazi regime between 1933 and 1945?
Hitler s dictatorship of Germany reformed it into a totalisation state, which meant that the Nazi party
were the only party that held political importance and therefore other opposing parties were banned.
Opposition consisted of Germany s general public, Churches and religious followings, such as
Christian and Protestant, and anti Nazi groups. The control the Nazi party had in Germany made it
difficult for any opposition to be able to have an effect on the Nazi regime safely. That was because
anybody who tried to speak out against the regime and its policies or Hitler was arrested and sent to
concentration camps to be used as slaves of labour or executed, which is stated ... Show more content

Hitler was able to influence the media in Germany so assigned Nazi members to broadcast and report
to the public. But they would then only feed stories and news to the people about matters that showed
the Nazi regime in a positive and biased way to give the false pretence to the German people the
regime is effective and the best thing for the country to improve. Opposition however couldn t
compete with the broad scale that the Nazis were able to report on, so they lacked having the proper
resources to reach the public audience and to educate them on different political matters that would
allow them to be able to form and develop their own opinions. People also wouldn t take any physical
items that explained their views and opinions because if they were caught with anything that opposes
the Nazi party or regime they could be arrested and taken to a concentration camp. That meant that
they had to rely on reaching people verbally and being able to express themselves in a way that s
effective for people to be interested by and has an impact that it ll stay in their

My Quinceanera
As a hispanic, I fit in the stereotype that my quinceanera marks my childhood transition to being an
adult, however, that is false, I am not a fan of attention. Getting my first college acceptance letter was
my accomplishment. I am the first person who will break stereotypes, as a proud undocumented,
feisty, high school graduate girl. Realizing this and feeling proud of myself is one step to transitioning.
I may be eighteen, but I am still my parents little girl.. Because I love my culture and my family, I
want to give back to the community that raised me. Graduating high school will be a well deserved
accomplishment and is going to be marvelous. I am breaking barriers. You will not classify me as a
hispanic girl who got pregnant at sixteen or who dropped out for being lazy. You cannot say I will end
up being no one or a housewife. When I first received an acceptance letter I knew I was going to
college, perhaps, not that certain school, but I was going and that is enough for me. You hear all the
time the small talk people make about you, one day I won t fit in a stereotype, I will be my own thing

Majoring in Social Work and Pre Law as well as minoring in Latin american studies will help me in
giving back to my community, especially those who are silent about the problems they hide. Opening
my eyes was another step towards my adulthood, knowing not every time will I have an
accomplishment reached, but trying and putting effort to comfort myself will help immensely.
Transitioning from being a child to an adult is frustrating, irritating, stressing, but it also gives you
freedom, courage, and knowledge. This transition has inspired me to give back to my community, to
make my family proud, and too embrace the beautiful culture I am apart of.

The Problem Of Female Violence
Generally speaking, men are more aggressive in nature than women. In fact, violence is the one
variable of which there are overwhelmingly skewed results proving gender differences. So we may
ask ourselves, why do women strike men inside the house in relatively equal numbers, but nearly
never resort to violence outside the home? Women for instance may argue that their aggression
towards men is harmless, and that slapping a man is quite feminine. These explanations may likely
have some validity, but neither addresses motivation for the violence, nor the context in which it
occurs. When in actuality, empirical research on female violence tells another story. Bjorkqvist and
Niemela (1992) provides us with evidence that women are as aggressive as males, but only when the
chance of retaliation is minimal (Shuler, 2010).
The Methodological Problem of Memory Methodological problems, in many cases, may skew the
results. Retrospection is greatly relied upon in Crime Victimization Studies, and bias may extend itself
to these studies as well. Our current interests may derail our accurate account of what actually
happened therefore, retrospection may not be completely reliable. One may argue that men
underreport victimization of violence by women because it is so emasculating and shaming. Women
on the other hand may make false allegations which serves their interest in divorce or child custody
hearings. Both of these assumptions are empirically groundless as evidence

How Swaziland Is A Developing Country
Swaziland is a developing country that is facing many problems which can only be solved through
political reform. Swaziland is located in south eastern Africa and is the last country in Africa to still
have an absolute monarchy. This country has a large health problem, including the highest rate of HIV
in Africa. Swaziland s monarch, King Mswati lll, holds all of the power. Swaziland s economy is
stagnant and its economic growth is steadily declining While the king lives a life of luxury, over fifty
percent of the population of Swaziland live in poverty. Swaziland is also a landlocked country located
in an area in which tropical storms are not uncommon. Swaziland is continuing to struggle as a
developing country for these reasons.
Swaziland has a history of struggle and hardships. According to the US Department of State (2014),
September 6, 1968 marked the day that Swaziland finally gained it s independence from Great Britain.
Independence, however, would not mean freedom for the people of Swaziland. Five years later, King
Sobhuza dissolved the parliament of Swaziland on April 12, 1973. This resulted in King Sobhuza
absorbing all political power in the country, which he used to ban all other political parties from
operating. This would pave the way for the future monarchs of Swaziland to maintain absolute power.
One notable party, the Swaziland Democratic Party, was established on September 24, 2011. They
have failed to consolidate any significant political power for the

Craft And Hobby Industry
The Craft and Hobby Association in 2011, released results of research into the U.S. Craft and Hobby
Industry. You may be surprised to learn that the craft and hobbyist s contribution towards this
industries net worth is approximately $29 billion, double the $14 billion first reported by Craft
Organization Directors Association (CODA) in 2001. A surprising figure to emerge from this research
(even to us avid craft enthusiasts) is that over half of U.S. households acknowledged engaging in a
craft activity at least once per year.

There are many varieties of lupus, but the most common one is Systemic Lupus Erythematous (SLE).
SLE, commonly referred to as lupus, is a chronic autoimmune inflammatory disease that can affect all
of the organs. There has not been a lot of research on this disease, but much of what is known about
SLE is based on the signaling of the molecular abnormalities that is present in the disease (Signaling).
It is believed that the cause of this disease is genetic, and triggered by unknown environmental
stimulus. Although this disorder can occur in person, it is most commonly found among both African
American men and women, especially women between the ages of fifteen and forty five.

The most useful tests detect certain blood antibodies that are commonly found in lupus patients. One
test that has been found extremely useful in detecting lupus is the antinuclear antibody test (ANA).
This test is good because people with lupus often test positive for ANA. Although there are other
diseases out there that test positive for ANA, this test helps in narrowing it down to the least amount
of possibilities as possible. Once the ANA test is positive, there are several blood tests that need to be
completed in order to test for individual types of autoantibodies that are commonly found in people
with lupus. These tests are not used for every SLE cases, but it is helpful when the doctors are
uncertain of the cause of the patient s symptoms. Other lab tests are used to monitor the progress of
the disease once it has been diagnosed

The operative elements are STATE, PERSON, and JURISDICTION. The common application is the
prohibition of some person from exercising a right, discrimination based on gender or legitimacy, or

The facts in the case of Nordlinger v. Hahn are that the plaintiff, who was a renter in Los Angeles
County, purchased a home in the same county. The plaintiff s property taxes are higher than those of
her established neighbors due to California Constitution Article XIIIA. The issue is whether the
reassessment scheme of Article XIIIA of the California Constitution that imposes a higher tax on new

the California Constitution Article XIIIA s acquisitionvalue assessment scheme does not violate the

Book Report on Silent Spring
INTRODUCTION
In the book Silent spring written by Rachael Carson we find a picture of Carson s deep concept about
the connection between nature s equilibrium and the web of life that has been ruined by the
uncontrolled use of insecticides which in turn affected the healthy livelihood of this earth s creatures.
Furthermore, she tells the readers of substitute techniques of achieving the same ends. The title of the
book is enough to make us understand that it was a hint of a spring season with no bird songs painting
our atmosphere meaning that all birds had vanished due to misuse of pesticides.
DISCUSSION
The book starts with a story of a town in America. Carson explains the town as being very beautiful
and lively where ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
She tries to get across the fact that the aerial spraying campaigns to kill the gypsy moth in the northern
states and the fire ant in the southern states were very much damaging, ineffective and also expensive.
This incident had a chain reaction resulting in crop failure, hurting wildlife and also cattle products
(such as milk) and vegetables were found having DDT and thus unhealthy for human consumption.
Carson lets us know that people are a victim to daily chemical poisoning in even minute doses. She
goes into the very details of domestic appliances and necessities. Carson talks about many things that
don t seem to be much of a danger on a daily basis to a regular person. Things such as bug sprays,
lotions, paints and varnishes, and even a pocket sized insecticide dispenser are brought up to help
demonstrate the everyday risks we encounter.
Only yesterday mankind lived in fear of the scourges of smallpox, cholera, and plague.............. Today
we are concerned with a different kind of hazard that lurks in our environment a hazard we ourselves
have introduced into our world as our modern way of life has evolved.
According to Carson we have given rise to a new range of health problems because the air we breathe,
the water we drink, the food we eat and everything else in our environment is polluted. As a result the

Early Stage Melanoma
Melanoma is a disease that develops in the cells of the skin (melanocytes). These are the cells that
produce melanin, which is the pigment that gives skin its color. Melanoma can also be found in the
eyes or internal organs such as the intestines. While melanoma is the most serious form of skin cancer,
the source is idiopathic. Despite the cause being idiopathic, it is known that ultraviolet radiation from
sources such as sunlight, and tanning beds increase the risk of melanoma development. Melanoma
may be the most serious type of skin cancer, but it is still treatable if it is detected early. The oldest
evidence of melanomas existence was found in Peru and is dated to be from the 4th century BC.

and Canada s regional division is one of a kind. Regionalism in Canada is more prevalent than
anywhere else, and each region has a substantial amount of force and sway within Canada. The
strength of regionalism in Canada stems from its federal government system, Canada s geological

the provinces within Canada.

provinces within Canada cover a very large area of land.
Canada is the second largest country in the world by land mass, yet it is the thirty eighth most
populous country in the world. What that ratio means is a significant distance between the
concentrated masses of people in Canada and the available resources from province to province vary
largely due to the considerable amount of land the provinces occupy. In British Columbia, the
geological make up consists of long coastal region, rainforests, and large mountain ranges, whereas
the province directly next to it is composed of flat fields and numerous pockets of oil. The economy of
each province thus relies on its natural resources, and the vast difference between each province puts
even more importance on the functioning of their respective provincial government. The plethora of
economic sources for each province is a lot to focus on for one central federal government. A
provincial government can pay attention more closely on their respective economic sources, thus
giving a provincial government more power and importance. The regional economies created spur on
cultures and lifestyles associated with it.

Racial Disparities in Policing
Racial profiling, stereotyping, and different styles of policing has led to the disproportionate targeting
of minorities by law enforcement agencies. Warren et al. (2006) notes that law enforcement often use
two forms of racial profiling. One is defined by Warren et al. (2006) as out of place profiling. This
particular form of racial profiling targets an individual if they do not match the general make up of a
certain community. Another method of racial profiling Warren et al. (2006) explains is drug
interdiction profiles, which encourage officers to target drug traffickers using their racial background
to make traffic stops and search their vehicles for contraband. Furthermore, Terrill and Reisig (2003)

I Naturally And Instantly Chose `` Bohemian Rhapsody `` By...
For my song analysis assignment, I naturally and instantly chose Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. This
song was the anthem of the 70 s and still, our anthem today. Nothing compares to the harmonies and
musicianship put into this song.
Queen released Bohemian Rhapsody on October 31, 1975.
This song was greeted like a gift from heaven in the largely desolated musical ground of the mid 70s
Freddie Mercury is the writer of the song also pianist and a lead vocalist in Queen. He wrote the song
in his apartment whilst he was trying to develop a complex song using a structure that leans towards a
more classical approach.
In the studio, the band embraced the psychedelic and progressive elements (which were initiating
throughout this era) and took them to another level.
Bohemian Rhapsody was nothing more than their simple their simple instrumental line up of Guitar,
Bass, Piano and Drums. However, they played them like they were something completely new and in
doing so; Queen delivered a new revolution of rock music.
Thrown into the period of glam, it was no surprise when Queen s elegance earned them a glam rocker
tag.
The title of the song has a powerful ideology. The word Bohemian could be traced to the practice of an
untraditional lifestyle. I believe the song has something to do with Freddie coming out as a
homosexual. In that era, it was not a normal thing and therefore majority of people were against it.
Interestingly enough the song has not got a chorus, but just

Police Enforcement Agency Of Bangladesh Essay
Introduction:
The Bangladesh Police is the main law enforcement agency of Bangladesh. It is administered under
the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Government of Bangladesh. It plays a crucial role in maintaining
peace, and enforcement of law and order within Bangladesh. Though the police are primarily
concerned with the maintenance of law and order and security of persons and property of individuals,
it also plays a big role in the criminal justice system.
After decades of misuse and neglect, Bangladesh police is a source of instability and fear rather than a
key component of a democratic society. A friend asks another friend How many people were there at
the tea shop? He replies, Oh, only a few, just a couple of gentle men and a cop. You must have heard
this joke or one of its many variations. The implied hint is clear. There are obvious reasons behind this
common perception. But like all generalizations, these do not portray the whole truth.
Abstract:
Police is one of the important law enforcing agencies to control the pace of crime and law and order
situation. Subordinate Police Officers are the key role players in this context. At present, crime is
increasing; the criminal justice system is cracking under heavy workload; society s expectations from
the police are high but the police s status and resources, working and living conditions leave a lot to be
desired. Moreover, the law enforcers are encountering some humanitarian issues and limited facilities.

Pornography, Erotica, and Nude Art – There Is a Difference...
Pornography is a subject that has always been argued and stirs up controversy almost anywhere it may
arise. There are people who are against it, and would like to ban all pornography for the benefit of
everyone, while there are those who defend it, claiming it is part of their guaranteed free speech, to
express themselves in a manner of their choosing. With the issue of pornography being debated and
spoken of, one major mistake people make is that they look at pornography according to their own
views. Different types of people look at pornography differently, and therefore create their own
definition of pornography in their minds. Usually, pornography tends to be mistaken with nude art and
erotica, so some people consider erotic as ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
So the students were then allowed to look at the subject s breasts and ponder the importance of nude
art as they made replicas of the woman in a graceful, artistic, position. The students probably
submitted a signed note from their parents to be involved in the sculpture session, because I do not
know of any public school that would allow its students to take part in this type of class during school
hours, on school grounds. The woman s nudity is considered as art because she is posing for an art
class, which was allowed by a public school, although I highly do not think that it would actually
happen. Nude art s purpose is to portray the human body as an art form, and not an object of sexuality
or arousal.
Both pornography and erotica have the main purpose to sexually stimulate people, but pornography
does not show the emotional connection between the individuals involved in the sexual acts, while
erotica does. Erotica is just like nude art, except that erotica possesses no artistic value, and art does
contain an artistic value that is accepted by everyone. There is a form of art called erotic art that I
guess is a mixture of erotica and nude art. But if guidelines were to be set by the government, art
forms that could be on the borderline of erotic art could be easier to distinguish. Pornography is not
classified as nude art at all, and nude art is not pornography. Pornography just has the sole

Mrs Bennet Satire
Bakhtin believes the reason behind the satire especially in the case of Mrs. Bennet is because,
Stupidity in the novel is always polemical: it interacts dialogically with an intelligence... (Bakhtin
403). In other words, because of the mindlessness of Mrs. Bennet the reader can contrast her behavior
towards her oldest daughters. The reasoning behind this is for people to question Mrs. Bennet s
behavior but also to exaggerate how a woman is supposed to behave. Additionally, during this time,
there were some women who on purpose would act anxious similarly to Mrs. Bennet but not as
exaggerated. The idea behind acting anxious goes back to the concept that it was a patriarchal society,
so women were second class citizens and were fragile creatures. ... Show more content on

Bennet s overexaggerated behavior to show how the patriarchal society governed over the life of
women. In this case, Mrs. Bennet s tried to get her daughters to get married to Mr. Collin simply, so
the inheritance would at least go one of her kids instead of women Mr. Collin decides to marry.
Though since Mrs. Bennet s daughter Jane is almost engaged to Mr. Bingley the only other option for
Mr. Collin to marry would be Elizabeth since her other siblings are much too young to marry. Ergo,
Mrs. Bennet tries to influence his decision by mentioning that she is easy going and fairly pretty but is
later on outraged when Charlotte will be the one who marries him since Elizabeth rejects him. In the
book, she mentions, I should be forced to make way for her and live to see her take my place in it!
(Austen 130). By her comment it shows how frustrated Mrs. Bennet was knowing that Charlotte
Lucas, Elizabeth s friend, will be the one who inherit the land. Though it also indirectly portrays how
Mrs. Bennet was also frustrated with society since as already mentioned women had no rights since
they were considered fragile and simply stayed at home worrying about house affairs. These notions in
mind led for women during this time to not able to own their property and limited their rights to

Discussion Of Suicide In Shakespeare s Hamlet-To Be Or Not...
To be or not to be, that is the question that brit lit students all over the world are asked to analyze. In

contemplating if suicide is valid. It is very important to the show overall because it is the reader s job
to decide if Hamlet is being devious or if he really has gone crazy. Since this soliloquy is so popular
there have been many interpretations done of it, and Ethan Hawke s in particular stands out to me. The
very famous to be or not to be speech asks if suicide is okay, lets the reader decide if Hamlet is crazy
or not, and there have been many interpretations of it over the years.
In his classic monologue, Hamlet questions the validity of suicide. The main question he asks is, is it
better to face the problems life throws your way or to just put an end to all of it? He compares death to
an endless sleep, but since no one knows what the sleep bring, committing suicide could be considered
noble. Some see suicide as cowardly, but Hamlet challenges that saying it can be considered brave to
do so since no one knows what the sleep will bring. Those who commit suicide are considered to be
brave pioneers by Hamlet because they have enough strength and self respect to ... Show more content

decoration for the cathedral in Florence. As Donatello grew up, his work got more mature and unique.
He created his own style with more drama and emotion, which showed in the marble figure of St.
Mark. Many of his creations also included more classical techniques, and less gothic style art.
Donatello s reputation was growing because of his larger than life figure, made from innovative
techniques and his stupendous skill. Much of Donatello s inspiration came from reality through a

Michelozzo in 1425. They both ended up going to Rome to fabricate sculptural and agricultural tombs

Comparing The Girl Who Drank The Moon And The Lost Thing
Antain represents an orphan who is longing for a sense of belonging and who is resilient in his pursuit
to find it. These characteristics are exemplified in Shaun Tan s The Lost Thing (2010). Both Antain
and the lost thing lack belonging. They fail to find their niche. They do not fit in. They have no where
to go. They are too different. There are significant parallels between both characters in their pursuit for
belonging. Immediately, in The Girl Who Drank the Moon (2016) and The Lost Thing (2010), both
characters are portrayed as outcasts. They do fit in to the society that they have been situated. They are
too different. Antain ostracized more explicitly as his is continually bullied whereas the lost thing is
neglected and forgotten (Tan, 2010, p. 3). However, both characters lack a place where they belong
and are loved unconditionally. Antain and the lost thing both possess significant helpers. For Antain,
his helper, Ethyne, appears closer to the end of the novel. As his wife, she encourages him to pursue
his dreams and loves him. The lost thing has a young boy to guide him along his journey throughout
the entire story to find a place where he can belong (Tan, 2010, p.9). ... Show more content on

Feminine Mystique By Betty Friedan
Strong willed, intelligent, and motivated are only some of the words we can use to describe Betty
Friedan. Credited as being the mother of the second wave of feminism, Friedan was an influential
women s right activist during the twentieth century but her legacy has continued to strive well into the
twenty first century. Friedan is the author of a variety of books including The Feminine Mystique,
which became a phenomenon because of its powerful message to women for self exploration outside
their traditional roles. This book helped to define Friedan s role in the fight for women empowerment
and equality. It evoked emotions in many women who agreed that they did not want to fulfil
traditional roles, creating an atmosphere of change. She was also the cofounder of the National
Organization for Women (NOW), serving as its first president and also helped to create the National
Association for the Repeal of Abortion Laws and the National Women s Political Caucus. With these

Installing A Office Surveillance System
Due to the rapid advancement in technology especially in the security industry, there is a huge surge in
the numbers of company surveillance of the employees and different ways of supervision have been
established. Many companies have installed security cameras in the workplace and have access to the
browsing history and emails of workers. However, there has been an uproar among the workers lately
as they are more exposed to social media and news from different places. More and more cases of
employers overextending their power and control of workers private lives can be seen all over the
United States. For example, according to the president of Teamsters Local 804, Tim Sylvester, the
metrics based assault of workers is not anything strange (Bruder, 2015). Indeed, it is not beneficial to a
company to install office surveillance system because it raises privacy concerns among the workers,
causes mistrust between employees and employers, and reduces organizational commitment. It is
argued by some that installing surveillance system in the workplace is advantageous to the company
because the companies need to protect their company assets and trade secrets. This is because
electronic surveillance prevents any intrusion, hacking or negative attempts to their computer systems.
Indeed, Ball (2010) contends that they want to protect corporate interests and trade secrets. Email,

Unwind Themes
Unwind written by Neal Shusterman is scoped with ideas that are very relevant in our society today.
The novel is based in the future where a child is both terminated and yet kept alive, however in a
divided state. The main themes in the novel are the right to life and the right to do what we want with
our own bodies, these ideas are in all three of the main characters lives. The idea of the right to life is
very important in today s society the reason for this is that taking away someone s life is murder,
except in our society it comes in all different forms. We have a right to our lives! We have a right to
choose what happens to our bodies Connor.
Firstly, Shusterman uses the main characters to portray the theme of the right to life. Connor gets his
life taken away from him at the age of sixteen when his parents sign his life away to be unwind, but it
wasn t his decision he didn t even know about it until he went snooping around and found the unwind
card that would take him to his death, the worst of all was that his family was going on vacation the
day after he was going to be unwind. So Connor went looking a little deeper when his parents went
out, and he found it the unwind order. this shows us that Connor s parents didn t even have the
decency to tell him and the worst thing was it was the holiday they were planning to go on The date on
the order was the day before the Bahamas trip. Shusterman used these quotes to express that the ...

ORGANIZATIONAL PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT PROCESS
Project Portfolio Management (PPM) is the management of one or more portfolios through evaluation,
prioritization, selection, review, execution and monitoring of projects in the portfolio. The goal is to
keep the portfolio(s) aligned with the vision, mission and strategic objectives of the organization while
effectively and efficiently allocating internal resources to maximize the overall value to the

Because UPS has a very open and consensus based culture PPM is widely accepted as a management
tool. Strategically, for UPS to be successful they must align portfolios with the organizational goals of
providing logistic solutions, supply chain management, e commerce and sustainability with the least
amount of risk. To accomplish this UPS restructured their organization from a functional based
structure to one that is pure process. Their processes focus on customer relationship management,
product management, package management, customer information management and business

UPS has a 12 member management team (Appendix A) who either singularly or in groups are

Rosh Ha Shannah is the Jewish New Year, that celebrates the creation of the world and God s rule
over it. This is one of the holiest days of the year for the Jews, along with Yom Kippur. One of the
many examples of Jewish customs are the dietary laws. These can be found in Leviticus and
Deuteronomy. Any Jew who chooses to follow these rules, do not eat pork or shellfish such as shrimp
or oysters. Meat and milk products are stored separately and are not served at the same meal. They
refrain from eating any milk products for several hours after eating meat. Meat killed from a ritual
slaughter known as Shehitah is the only meat they are allowed to eat. At the age of 13 boys and girls

in which they are recognized as adults responsible for fulfilling the obligations of Judaism (Magid). At
the same time the Jewish faith was developing, so was Italian literature. Italian literature was greatly
influenced by a movement known as futurism during the 1900 s. Language and metaphors glorified
the violence of the time period. Themes with problems of personal identity and absurdity of reality
were common (Cherchi). After World War II ended, a variety of different literary styles emerged. This
included magical realism, absurd plays, and protest literature. Each new type of literature shared an

Similarities Between Hester Prynne And Legally Blonde
The novel, The Scarlet Letter, and the play, Legally Blonde, both portray a strong female lead. In the
novel, Hester Prynne is labeled with a scarlet letter, A , for committing a sin. As the story progresses
she is able to change the meaning of her symbol into something more pleasing to the public eye. In the
beginning of the play, Elle Woods is seen by her peers as a silly, dumb, blonde , but similar to Hester,
she is able to change the way she is seen by others in a positive way. Both of these independent
women use their power to influence their society in order to change the way they are seen by the
people around them. Elle Woods from Legally Blonde begins her journey as president of her sorority,
Delta Nu. She is seen as the happy little blonde that always wears pink. She is given this stereotype by
society. Until she is able to change stereotype, that is all that most people see her as. Her first step in
changing her reputation is transferring to Harvard s School of Law. Her initial drive to attend Harvard
was to chase after someone she loved. But Elle soon realized that she enjoyed studying law more than
she thought. After many hours of studying and encouragement from a professor, Elle was able to
prove herself in front of her fellow students. She showed them that she is more than just pink clothes
and scented pink paper. Elle even takes her change a step further, by proving herself worthy to society
in a very important court case. Elle is able to take charge and evidently win her case, thus helping an
innocent person. Elle finds thrill in this new person she has created within herself and is glad she did
it. She feels as if she is finally more than what society had previously seen her as and is proud that she
was the one who was able to make that change for herself.
Hester Prynne from Hawthorne s, The Scarlet Letter, is marginalized by society for having committed
a sin. She too is given a stereotype by those around her, similar to Elle Woods. In the beginning, no
one dares to speak or even look at Hester because of the A she wears on her chest. Hester feels as if
she needs to change the meaning of this A that is stuck to her, so she sets out to do so. Every little

spatial memory in the morris water maze was impaired. This experiments indicate that exposure to
social insabilty stress only impaired long term spatial memory and not short term spatial memory in

isolating the rats but by exposing them to another rat in the same housing they were before exposure
to the stress may make the rats bond as they both were exposed to the stress which could mitigate the

The Myth Of Jap The Creation Story Of Shinto
The creation story of Shinto builds more appreciation and respect for the kami as well. The creation
myth can be found in the Kojiki and it begins with the two gods, Izanagi and Izanami. The two gods
are husband and wife, whom through Izanami, gave birth to the Japan s islands, the kami of the earth,
and the kami of heaven. Throughout Izanami s various pregnancies, the birth of Ho musubi or Fire
growth was what birthed the most kami. During Ho musabi s birth he burned his mother making her
fall ill. Izanami created kami that personified water, metal and clay through her urine, vomit, and
feces. Afterwards Izanami died and her husband, Izanagi, in a fit of grief slew another kami which in
turn generated more kami. The two creation gods are responsible for the creation of the other kami,
and in one interpretation, responsible for the birth of the sun goddess Amaterasu (Sandvik). Izanagi
and Izanami created the natural world that the humans live in, they are the reason kami exist, and in
the long term Japan s history. The nature aspect of Shintoism is connected to the belief that kami exist
within nature and hold the source of life. According to Rosemarie Bernard, author of Shinto and
Ecology, the goal of Shintoism is to prevent the natural world from devolving into a state of chaos
without disturbing the kami and nature. It is the goal of shintoists to maintain balance with the kami
and natural world (Bernard). The way Shintoism achieved this balance was through a variety of forms
of purification. These forms of purification purified areas designed for the kami. The houses designed
for the kami are called yuniwa, which translates to purified yard or court, these houses are usually
sacred enclosures with rocks placed in the center. However, yoshiro is designed with the purpose of
manifesting the physical form of the kami while yuniwa is designed to welcome the kami to shrines.
Shrines protect itself from outside forces through shimenawa. Shimenawas protected sacred areas by
using a plaited straw rope that could be seen hanging from the front of a Shinto shrine. The
ceremonies involving purification include the two concepts of seimei, translated it means clean and
happy, and seichoku, translated means right

Metamorphosis. The Metamorphosis appears to be a fantastic piece. After reading The
Metamorphosis, I do believe that there are many similarities between magical realism and fantastic
literature. Kafka showed many fantastic issues in The Metamorphosis.
While reading The Metamorphosis, I did not feel that it had any magical elements in the story, but had
many fantastic elements. In my opinion, I think that the story did have some realist elements. For
example, there was a lot of tension with the family. Although it had to do ... Show more content on

But what is particularly found problematic is the apparent contradiction in the definition of magical
realism as an amalgamation of realism and fantasy such as The Metamorphosis (129).
Many things are fantasy, but now since I have learned what magical realism is, I see magical realism
in The Metamorphosis. I feel that waking up and being something else is magical and a person hearing
his family talking and being scared to leave his room is magical. Also, he had to learn how to walk
differently, lie differently, and even eat differently. I feel that part is more magical than fantastic.
The Metamorphosis did have some realist elements as well. Before Gregor Samsa turned into an
insect, he was a young traveling salesman who lived with and financially supported his parents and his
young sister. Another realist element I found was that it is true that insects do not like the same food
we eat. Gregor s food habits changed. Even though he was an insect, his sister still found the time to
feed him, and when she fed him, she gave him bread and milk because that was his favorite. When
Gregor went to eat it as an insect, he no longer liked the taste. He began eating scraps. He also liked
staying under the furniture. All insects like to hide, and even though he went from a human to a bug,
he is doing the things that an insect would naturally

The Stages Of Grief By Elisabeth Kubbler Ross And David...
Five Stage of Grief The thought of death and dying for many is just that, a mere thought that lives in
the back of ones mind. However, for many others these thoughts are a painful reality. How individuals
navigate through death and dying is a very personal journey that cannot be easily predicted. It is
important to understand that there is neither a set time line nor right or wrong way to process the loss
of life. The book On Grief and Grieving: Finding the Meaning of Grief Through the Five Stage Loss
by Elisabeth Kübbler Ross and David Kessler, aims to help individuals experiencing loss better
understand the coping emotions associated with the grieving process through identifying five common
stages of grief.
Denial
Kübbler Ross and Kessler (2005) described denial in this instance as a symbolic term versus literal
rejection of information. In this case denial may look more like disbelief of shocking information.
Denial is the minds way of protecting itself against painful and shocking thoughts, feelings, and
perceptions and can be experienced by both healthy and sick persons (Kübbler Ross Kessler, 2005).
The minds rejection of painful and harmful information is a form of avoidance coping, which allows
individuals to integrate cognitively dissonant information at a more manageable pace (Charles Kamen,
2012). Through denial one may be able to unconsciously manage their feelings about the given
situation.
Impact of Denial Denial can give individuals the ability to let

Maryland Essay
Maryland is the 42nd largest state, making it one of the smaller states in America. It is located in the
South Atlantic region on the United States eastern seaboard. Prince George s is one of twenty four
counties in Maryland. It is also the geographic center of the state. Maryland has a varied climate. The
state is home to a variety of different ecosystems. This is also true of
Maryland s environment, which has the Atlantic Ocean on the coast, mountains, and forest land.
My paper will focus on Prince George s county and the state of Maryland. The size of the state and
how connected parts of Prince George s county is to its neighboring counties and cities makes it
sensible to take a wider view of Maryland s ecology and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
These areas are used to protect natural resources, conservation, and education. Many of these water
ways are considered ecological greenways.
Before European settlers colonized parts of Maryland, the area was dominated by mixed
hardwood forests. European settlers cut down native forests at a high rate and the timber was
sold in Europe. These old growth forests are now virtually extinct in the state. Environmental
activists have been fighting for decades to preserve these endangered habitats for the animals and
plants that live in them.
The essay, Maryland s Environment: A 20,000 Year History of Change states, in the
early days of the colony, European settlers themselves slowly cleared the land. Their
pigs, cattle, horses, and fowl were fenced out of house yards and ranged free in the
Maryland woods. The activities of the livestock were very effective in clearing the
understory and preventing the regeneration of forests. Farming practices especially
tobacco agriculture, which was so widespread in Tidewater Maryland included the
frequent clearing of fields and their later abandonment due to exhausted soils, which led
to the fragmentation of forests and the creation of patchwork landscapes.
The late 1800s and early 1900s witnessed the most extensive deforestation in Maryland,
when approximately 80 percent of the land was cleared of trees. The result was

A Short Note On Loss Of Brand Reputation
1. Risk One Loss of Brand Reputation
A loss of brand reputation occurs from many different potential sources, but can be managed and
mitigate through appropriate steps before and after any potential incidents that could affect the
company s brand. It is vital to employ rigorous quality control monitoring, in order to ensure stock
meets regulation and public safety expectations of the market. Failure to monitor the quality of stock
can result in poor quality goods, or even unsafe goods being sold and associated with the company
name. Following up on quality control management, with distributors to ensure that stock continues to
meet the companies rigorous standards will protect the companies brand. Responding appropriately
and swiftly to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Developing a contingency plan for emergencies both with the distributing partner, and within the
company will enable the company to respond quickly to maintain distributor relationships or make
adjustments for an emergency to mitigate the impact on the company s operations.
3. Risk Three Regulatory Changes Regulatory changes can have a positive impact on the company,
but can also incur operational costs. As regulation changes do not occur in a vacuum the company can
evaluate the potential impact of regulation changes and set aside sufficient funds before changes occur
to ensure the company continues to meet regulation demands. The organization can setup an internal
committee that can evaluate the impact of regulation changes being debated. The advantage of this is
leveraging some changes to the companies benefit. For example, if there is a desired change that
would enhance food safety, the committee may find that enacting the change would not incur a large
cost, would improve brand recognition to enact the change, and may choose to change company
standards whether or not the regulation changes. It can aid in planning how to mitigate operational
cost increases due to regulation changes, for example the pharmacy may face changing health
insurance regulation changes and the company would not only need to set aside sufficient funds, but
also institute a compliance plan upon the regulation changing.

Social And Social Influence On Behavior Essay
Social influence Social psychologists try to understand human behavior in terms of the influence
others have in producing it (Aronson, Wilson Akert, 1994). The following passage explains
specifically how social groups can influence behavior. In particular, the discussion will Center on the
role groups play in the formation of social norms and social roles. With reference to experiments, the
passage will show the terms and degree to which people are likely to conform under group pressure to
those norms and roles. Muzafer Sherif (1935) conducted an experiment which showed the effects a
group can have on the behavior of an individual. Participants were asked individually to identify how
far a white dot moved on a black screen in a dark room. They were then asked to do the same task but
in a group with other participants who had also completed the task independently. It was found that
answers changed considerably towards a norm which they all shared. Just the presence of the group
influenced the participant s opinions. Jackobs and Campbell (1961), in a similar experiment, showed
how group norms can pass through generations. They replicated the study several times replacing one
old participant with a new one each time. They found that the norm found in the initial study was still
prevalent over time even when the original group no longer was present. The original group
established a norm which then became a social norm as it pervaded subsequent groups. However, it

Rap American Culture
Rap music has taken its shape over the last six decades, starting in the 60s and still modernizing today.
Over the last fifty years a new era has developed in American culture. This era is modern rap. Rap has
taken over modern culture as a popular form of music for many different age groups. The rap industry
has been booming for the past three decades. With what I have said, this leads me to my research
question. How has modern rap come to be in American culture? Rap is actually a very old term dating
back to 15th century Europe. The term rap originally meant to strike or hit something. ( Cole Mize
Studios ) However, centuries later the word began to adapt a new meaning. By the 60s, rap began to
be used in the black community as a slang word ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Female rappers also play a role in rap. From the early groups of Salt n Pepa to the new sensation Iggy
Iselias. These female artists just add more diversity to the genre. Rap is still diverse as ever. With a
new type of lesser known rap has begun to emerge. This style being Gospel or Christian rap. Some of
the best known Christian rap artist being Lecrae and tobyMac. ( Wikipedia ) I completely agree that
these are the two main artists since they have been very prominent for a while. Andy Mineo has
become popular and many people leave him out of the conversation. This genre of rap is so different
from all other forms of rap. It is used as a way of expressing protestant traditions. ( Wikipedia )
Christian rap has grown popular enough to get its own categories at Christian Award shows such as,
GMA Dove Awards and Stellar Awards. ( Wikipedia ) However, Christian rap does not have as diverse
of an audience as the mainstream rap audience. Christian rap typically is followed by the white church
going population. So, why exactly is learning about the history of rap important? It is important
because it has become such a large part of our modern culture. Learning more about it is necessary to
further understand why it is such a large part of our society. Some people may disapprove of what rap
has come to be due to its current negative connotation.

Cyber Criminals Are Faceless And Cybercrimes Cyber criminals are faceless and cybercrimes are now easier and safer for criminals to troll the internet for unsuspected victims without leaving the comfort of their own home. According to a Police Executive Research Forum report (PERF, 2014), local law enforcement are struggling with responses to cybercrimes; Chief Charles McClelland of the Houston police department told PERF, unfortunately, we haven t properly prepared our officers to handle cybercrime calls (p.20). Cybercrimes are not limited to credit card frauds, scams, human trafficking, or cyber bullying, but also involves attacks on national infrastructures to terrorism plots on a larger scale. The post 911 investigation revealed that the internet played a key role in the attacks, from planning to coordinating to executing the cowardice acts. As a law enforcement organization, we are facing a new breed of criminals criminals with no faces or names and our task is to bring them to justice. There is a lack of knowledge in the cyber world, which the police culture does not fully comprehend. In order to level the playing field, we must improve IT knowledge through education, commit funding to promulgate cybercrimes units, and collaborate with local, state, and federal agencies to create a team of teams. The internet is largely unregulated, therefore, those who are most familiar with it will dominate the virtual world. • 3. How Effective Was Opposition To The Nazi Regime Between... How effective was opposition to the Nazi regime between 1933 and 1945? Hitler s dictatorship of Germany reformed it into a totalisation state, which meant that the Nazi party were the only party that held political importance and therefore other opposing parties were banned. Opposition consisted of Germany s general public, Churches and religious followings, such as Christian and Protestant, and anti Nazi groups. The control the Nazi party had in Germany made it difficult for any opposition to be able to have an effect on the Nazi regime safely. That was because anybody who tried to speak out against the regime and its policies or Hitler was arrested and sent to concentration camps to be used as slaves of labour or executed, which is stated ... Opposition however couldn t compete with the broad scale that the Nazis were able to report on, so they lacked having the proper resources to reach the public audience and to educate them on different political matters that would allow them to be able to form and develop their own opinions. People also wouldn t take any physical items that explained their views and opinions because if they were caught with anything that opposes the Nazi party or regime they could be arrested and taken to a concentration camp. Realizing this and feeling proud of myself is one step to transitioning. I may be eighteen, but I am still my parents little girl.. Because I love my culture and my family, I want to give back to the community that raised me. Graduating high school will be a well deserved accomplishment and is going to be marvelous. I am breaking barriers. You will not classify me as a hispanic girl who got pregnant at sixteen or who dropped out for being lazy. You cannot say I will end up being no one or a housewife. • 5. The Problem Of Female Violence Generally speaking, men are more aggressive in nature than women. In fact, violence is the one variable of which there are overwhelmingly skewed results proving gender differences. So we may ask ourselves, why do women strike men inside the house in relatively equal numbers, but nearly never resort to violence outside the home? Women for instance may argue that their aggression towards men is harmless, and that slapping a man is quite feminine. These explanations may likely have some validity, but neither addresses motivation for the violence, nor the context in which it occurs. When in actuality, empirical research on female violence tells another story. Bjorkqvist and Niemela (1992) provides us with evidence that women are as aggressive as males, but only when the chance of retaliation is minimal (Shuler, 2010). The Methodological Problem of Memory Methodological problems, in many cases, may skew the results. Retrospection is greatly relied upon in Crime Victimization Studies, and bias may extend itself to these studies as well. Our current interests may derail our accurate account of what actually happened therefore, retrospection may not be completely reliable. One may argue that men underreport victimization of violence by women because it is so emasculating and shaming. Women on the other hand may make false allegations which serves their interest in divorce or child custody hearings. Both of these assumptions are empirically groundless as evidence ... Swaziland is located in south eastern Africa and is the last country in Africa to still have an absolute monarchy. This country has a large health problem, including the highest rate of HIV in Africa. Swaziland s monarch, King Mswati lll, holds all of the power. Swaziland s economy is stagnant and its economic growth is steadily declining While the king lives a life of luxury, over fifty percent of the population of Swaziland live in poverty. Swaziland is also a landlocked country located in an area in which tropical storms are not uncommon. Swaziland is continuing to struggle as a developing country for these reasons. Swaziland has a history of struggle and hardships. According to the US Department of State (2014), September 6, 1968 marked the day that Swaziland finally gained it s independence from Great Britain. Independence, however, would not mean freedom for the people of Swaziland. Five years later, King Sobhuza dissolved the parliament of Swaziland on April 12, 1973. This resulted in King Sobhuza absorbing all political power in the country, which he used to ban all other political parties from operating. This would pave the way for the future monarchs of Swaziland to maintain absolute power. One notable party, the Swaziland Democratic Party, was established on September 24, 2011. This song was the anthem of the 70 s and still, our anthem today. Nothing compares to the harmonies and musicianship put into this song. Queen released Bohemian Rhapsody on October 31, 1975. This song was greeted like a gift from heaven in the largely desolated musical ground of the mid 70s Freddie Mercury is the writer of the song also pianist and a lead vocalist in Queen. He wrote the song in his apartment whilst he was trying to develop a complex song using a structure that leans towards a more classical approach. In the studio, the band embraced the psychedelic and progressive elements (which were initiating throughout this era) and took them to another level. Bohemian Rhapsody was nothing more than their simple their simple instrumental line up of Guitar, Bass, Piano and Drums. However, they played them like they were something completely new and in doing so; Queen delivered a new revolution of rock music. Thrown into the period of glam, it was no surprise when Queen s elegance earned them a glam rocker tag. The title of the song has a powerful ideology. The word Bohemian could be traced to the practice of an untraditional lifestyle. I believe the song has something to do with Freddie coming out as a homosexual. In that era, it was not a normal thing and therefore majority of people were against it. Interestingly enough the song has not got a chorus, but just ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Nude art s purpose is to portray the human body as an art form, and not an object of sexuality or arousal. The reasoning behind this is for people to question Mrs. Bennet s behavior but also to exaggerate how a woman is supposed to behave. • 39. The Myth Of Jap The Creation Story Of Shinto The creation story of Shinto builds more appreciation and respect for the kami as well. The creation myth can be found in the Kojiki and it begins with the two gods, Izanagi and Izanami. The two gods are husband and wife, whom through Izanami, gave birth to the Japan s islands, the kami of the earth, and the kami of heaven. Throughout Izanami s various pregnancies, the birth of Ho musubi or Fire growth was what birthed the most kami. During Ho musabi s birth he burned his mother making her fall ill. Izanami created kami that personified water, metal and clay through her urine, vomit, and feces. Afterwards Izanami died and her husband, Izanagi, in a fit of grief slew another kami which in turn generated more kami. The two creation gods are responsible for the creation of the other kami, and in one interpretation, responsible for the birth of the sun goddess Amaterasu (Sandvik). Izanagi and Izanami created the natural world that the humans live in, they are the reason kami exist, and in the long term Japan s history. The nature aspect of Shintoism is connected to the belief that kami exist within nature and hold the source of life. According to Rosemarie Bernard, author of Shinto and Ecology, the goal of Shintoism is to prevent the natural world from devolving into a state of chaos without disturbing the kami and nature. It is the goal of shintoists to maintain balance with the kami and natural world (Bernard). The way Shintoism achieved this balance was through a variety of forms of purification. But what is particularly found problematic is the apparent contradiction in the definition of magical realism as an amalgamation of realism and fantasy such as The Metamorphosis (129). Many things are fantasy, but now since I have learned what magical realism is, I see magical realism in The Metamorphosis. I feel that waking up and being something else is magical and a person hearing his family talking and being scared to leave his room is magical. Also, he had to learn how to walk differently, lie differently, and even eat differently. I feel that part is more magical than fantastic. The Metamorphosis did have some realist elements as well. Before Gregor Samsa turned into an insect, he was a young traveling salesman who lived with and financially supported his parents and his young sister. Another realist element I found was that it is true that insects do not like the same food we eat. Gregor s food habits changed. Even though he was an insect, his sister still found the time to feed him, and when she fed him, she gave him bread and milk because that was his favorite. When Gregor went to eat it as an insect, he no longer liked the taste. He began eating scraps. He also liked staying under the furniture. All insects like to hide, and even though he went from a human to a bug, he is doing the things that an insect would naturally ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 41. The Stages Of Grief By Elisabeth Kubbler Ross And David... Five Stage of Grief The thought of death and dying for many is just that, a mere thought that lives in the back of ones mind. However, for many others these thoughts are a painful reality. How individuals navigate through death and dying is a very personal journey that cannot be easily predicted. It is important to understand that there is neither a set time line nor right or wrong way to process the loss of life. The book On Grief and Grieving: Finding the Meaning of Grief Through the Five Stage Loss by Elisabeth Kübbler Ross and David Kessler, aims to help individuals experiencing loss better understand the coping emotions associated with the grieving process through identifying five common stages of grief. Denial Kübbler Ross and Kessler (2005) described denial in this instance as a symbolic term versus literal rejection of information. In this case denial may look more like disbelief of shocking information. Denial is the minds way of protecting itself against painful and shocking thoughts, feelings, and perceptions and can be experienced by both healthy and sick persons (Kübbler Ross Kessler, 2005). The minds rejection of painful and harmful information is a form of avoidance coping, which allows individuals to integrate cognitively dissonant information at a more manageable pace (Charles Kamen, 2012). Through denial one may be able to unconsciously manage their feelings about the given situation. Impact of Denial Denial can give individuals the ability to let ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Prince George s is one of twenty four counties in Maryland. It is also the geographic center of the state. Maryland has a varied climate. The state is home to a variety of different ecosystems. This is also true of Maryland s environment, which has the Atlantic Ocean on the coast, mountains, and forest land. My paper will focus on Prince George s county and the state of Maryland. The size of the state and how connected parts of Prince George s county is to its neighboring counties and cities makes it sensible to take a wider view of Maryland s ecology and ... Before European settlers colonized parts of Maryland, the area was dominated by mixed hardwood forests. European settlers cut down native forests at a high rate and the timber was sold in Europe. These old growth forests are now virtually extinct in the state. Environmental activists have been fighting for decades to preserve these endangered habitats for the animals and plants that live in them. The essay, Maryland s Environment: A 20,000 Year History of Change states, in the early days of the colony, European settlers themselves slowly cleared the land. Their pigs, cattle, horses, and fowl were fenced out of house yards and ranged free in the Maryland woods. The activities of the livestock were very effective in clearing the understory and preventing the regeneration of forests. Farming practices especially tobacco agriculture, which was so widespread in Tidewater Maryland included the frequent clearing of fields and their later abandonment due to exhausted soils, which led to the fragmentation of forests and the creation of patchwork landscapes. The late 1800s and early 1900s witnessed the most extensive deforestation in Maryland, when approximately 80 percent of the land was cleared of trees. The result was

Risk One Loss of Brand Reputation A loss of brand reputation occurs from many different potential sources, but can be managed and mitigate through appropriate steps before and after any potential incidents that could affect the company s brand. It is vital to employ rigorous quality control monitoring, in order to ensure stock meets regulation and public safety expectations of the market. Developing a contingency plan for emergencies both with the distributing partner, and within the company will enable the company to respond quickly to maintain distributor relationships or make adjustments for an emergency to mitigate the impact on the company s operations. 3. Risk Three Regulatory Changes Regulatory changes can have a positive impact on the company, but can also incur operational costs. As regulation changes do not occur in a vacuum the company can evaluate the potential impact of regulation changes and set aside sufficient funds before changes occur to ensure the company continues to meet regulation demands. The organization can setup an internal committee that can evaluate the impact of regulation changes being debated. The advantage of this is leveraging some changes to the companies benefit. For example, if there is a desired change that would enhance food safety, the committee may find that enacting the change would not incur a large cost, would improve brand recognition to enact the change, and may choose to change company standards whether or not the regulation changes. It can aid in planning how to mitigate operational cost increases due to regulation changes, for example the pharmacy may face changing health insurance regulation changes and the company would not only need to set aside sufficient funds, but also institute a compliance plan upon the regulation changing. ... • 45. Social And Social Influence On Behavior Essay Social influence Social psychologists try to understand human behavior in terms of the influence others have in producing it (Aronson, Wilson Akert, 1994). The following passage explains specifically how social groups can influence behavior. In particular, the discussion will Center on the role groups play in the formation of social norms and social roles. With reference to experiments, the passage will show the terms and degree to which people are likely to conform under group pressure to those norms and roles. Muzafer Sherif (1935) conducted an experiment which showed the effects a group can have on the behavior of an individual. Participants were asked individually to identify how far a white dot moved on a black screen in a dark room. They were then asked to do the same task but in a group with other participants who had also completed the task independently. It was found that answers changed considerably towards a norm which they all shared. Just the presence of the group influenced the participant s opinions. Jackobs and Campbell (1961), in a similar experiment, showed how group norms can pass through generations. They replicated the study several times replacing one old participant with a new one each time. They found that the norm found in the initial study was still prevalent over time even when the original group no longer was present. The original group established a norm which then became a social norm as it pervaded subsequent groups. However, it can be ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Rap is actually a very old term dating back to 15th century Europe. The term rap originally meant to strike or hit something. Some of the best known Christian rap artist being Lecrae and tobyMac. ( Wikipedia ) I completely agree that these are the two main artists since they have been very prominent for a while. Andy Mineo has become popular and many people leave him out of the conversation. This genre of rap is so different from all other forms of rap. It is used as a way of expressing protestant traditions. ( Wikipedia ) Christian rap has grown popular enough to get its own categories at Christian Award shows such as, GMA Dove Awards and Stellar Awards. ( Wikipedia ) However, Christian rap does not have as diverse of an audience as the mainstream rap audience. Christian rap typically is followed by the white church going population.
