Introduction
Definition of Target Marketing and its Importance in telecommunications
This focuses on selling a product or service to a current market. However a strategic market embraces
the potential market for the product or service. (Kotler and Keller; 2009: 86). An organization that
markets directly to their end users to sell their products and services are benefitting from the concept
direct marketing . Therefore there is an interactive communication with the end user, thus the most
effective direct marketing takes place when there is a clear connection to reach its target market.

business. Companies have been cautioned though about over segmenting their markets, this could lead
to the organization wanting to counter segment, in order to broaden its customer base.
According to the corporate report on Cell C 2008; as a means of improving its infrastructure and
positioning in order to yield good results. The organization had resorted to turning its attention to
defining its target market, having performed intensive research and tested various offers that could
provide all important differentiation. They had also realised that before any of the offering could be
made, they had to fix the basics first, i.e. Improving the performance of the network and its ability to
interface with its customers,

Markets are targeted at four levels: segments, niches, local areas and individuals.
Hereunder the market segments will be elaborated on.
There are two bases for segmenting the consumer market: these are bases on consumer characteristics
as well as consumer responses.
The market segments variables are broken down in to the following:

Supernatural Events In Macbeth Research Paper

Supernatural Events in Macbeth William Shakespeare had a common theme of supernatural events
and attributes in his plays. This continues in his famous play, Macbeth, where there are four main
supernatural events that incite the plot of the play. These metaphysical components add drama and
excitement to the play and are the catalysts to Macbeth s tragic hero downfall. The encountering of the
witches, the imaginary dagger, Banquo s ghost, and the apparitions all added dramatic elements to the
play including foreshadowing, suspense, subconscious thoughts, and plot stimulants. Through the
combination of unearthly phenomenon s and mundane characters, Shakespeare creates an imaginative
plot that establishes character s true thoughts and causes the characters to act on ideas brought upon by
these supernatural projections. The ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
They are the evil spirits that initially bring out the evil in Macbeth when he is at his highest point in
his career. He has just slain several traitors in the civilization and is well respected by King Duncan
and his fellow noblemen. The witches impose what they call Macbeth s fate on Macbeth and he whole
heartedly trusts and believes them. The prophesies are presented in a way of greeting Macbeth with,
Hail to thee, thane of Glamis! Hail to thee, thane of Cawdor! and All hail, Macbeth, that shalt be king
hereafter! (1.3.49 51) Since shortly after these proclamations, Macbeth actually was presented with
the title of Thane of Cawdor, he feels he has reason to trust what these supernatural sisters are telling
him. Each of the prophesies the witches make foreshadow the events in future scenes in the play that
either naturally happen, like in the case of Thane of Glamis and Thane of Cawdor, or Macbeth

The Causes Of Wealth Inequality In America
Grace Ogunkunle
Prof. D. Fozouni
English 102 (SBVC)
Research Paper
Dec 8, 2017.
Wealth Gap In America
Americans today live in a distinctly unequal society. Inequality is now wider than it used to be in the
last century, and the division in income, wages, and wealth are broader than they are in other
developed economies of the world. Wealth inequality is the imbalance of wealth or income within a
society, and it is one of the most vital economic challenge the US is facing today because the
distribution of wealth is more dispersed, making the inequality in wealth distribution at its highest.
While the matter has been discussed for many years, the actual income disparity in the U.S. has
heightened and is now verging on an extreme gap that portends to impede long term economic growth.
The huge gap between the wealthy and poor is squeezing the U.S. economy, the wealth gap threatens
economic growth by diminishing social mobility and producing a less educated workforce who are not
able to compete in the global economy. unrestrained level of income inequality causes political
pressures, it discourages trade, investment, and hiring. The present level of income inequality in the
U.S. is shrinking GDP growth, and the world s largest economy is struggling to recover from the Great
Recession. Wealth inequality has become a hot topic in recent years, this is because the return rate on
capital, such as stocks or real estate, outruns that of economic growth which resulted in the wealthiest
grasping a growing share of wealth, leading to increasing inequality. The unequal distribution of
wealth has been a major hallmark of the U.S economy, and among its most notable and lasting results,
but until it was brought to the awareness of the public by the Occupy movement s catch phrase
referring to the 1% of the populace who control half of the nation s wealth, this issue had not been
brought to the limelight of public economic and political discourse since the Great Depression of the
1930s, and almost every American is basically unaware of the true magnitude and character of the
unequal distribution of wealth in our country. Inequality in wealth i.e. the sum of household savings,
home equity, investments, and debts is

Pros And Cons Of Walmart
In the following essay, I will state a few reasons why Wal Mart Stores Inc. is one of the most detested
companies in the United States. I believe it is more a love hate relationship as long as numerous
people are looking for the lowest price when they consider buying anything and consequently, many
people buy their things at Walmart.
Walmart is a price Maker. Accordingly, they can decide how much they want to pay for a certain good
and if it is still realistic they will find a producer or supplier. They can order different suppliers to their
headquarter and let them negotiate with each other until they have found the producer who is able to

Public Grievances With Emphasis On Administrative Law Essay
The government of a country has been understood to be of vital importance for purposes of stability,
responsibility, and accountability of the nation. China s government is no less different from this
important context. With the complex structure of China s government, scholars have argued that the
government s function, with its high favorability rate, is an interesting dynamic that no other country
possesses. Although there are many functions that a government should be fulfilling, Teresa Wright, in
her book, Party and State in Post Mao China, examines how China is able to satisfy basic functions of
government that she argues is of importance. Wright explains that specific government features have
influenced its ability to fulfill their governmental functions. As Wright argues, the main focus of this
paper shall be to examine China and its ability in addressing public grievances with emphasis on
administrative law. Specifically, the paper shall attempt to answer whether or not the Chinese
government is adequately attempting to address public grievances. The aim of this paper is not to
argue whether or not administrative law is successful in comparison to other nations, e.g. the United
States, but whether or not it is successful in the context of their government. Part I of this paper shall
outline the history and creation of administrative law in China. With the creation of administrative
law, there was a notion to differentiate Civil Procedure Law with Administrative

Mein Kampf Hitler s Persuasion
Hitler s Persuasion;
How Hitler Persuaded the Public
Hitler had ideas to commit horrible acts of evil, but how did he convince the public to help him do
those things? We need to understand this to prevent things like it from happening again. Hitler
persuaded the public by gaining the power of dictator, brainwashing the public with speeches, and
giving away copies of Mein Kampf to further influence the public. Because of his influence, Hitler
was able to persuade and make loyal to him most of the people in Germany.
Hitler gained power in a decade by becoming popular with the people. Because he helped a group of
Nazis attempt to overthrow the government, Hitler was arrested for treason in 1923 during the Beer
Hall Putsch ( How Was ). People treated him like a hero, so ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

He did this by publishing Mein Kampf in 1925 and 1927 in two volumes. By 1939, his book had sold
5,200,000 copies and was written in eleven different languages. Because Hitler didn t want the public
to rebel or counteract his Nazi ideas, he banned books that were against the Nazi philosophy ( Mein
Kampf. ). In order to get his ideas into people s heads, he made it a ritual to give newly married
couples a copy of Mein Kampf (Mein Kampf). Also, Hitler indoctrinated the public with speeches. By
reading the works of Gustave Le Bon, he learned about how the psychology of the crowd works. From
this information, Hitler learned how to unify the crowd by pointing out a common problem, then he
showed how he can get rid of the problem so that they would want to help him and give him their
loyalty. In order to convince the audience, Hitler used a lot of repetition and stereotypes in his speech (
Hitler s Guide ). Another thing he did in his speeches was use the either or fallacy by creating false
dilemmas, such as either the Germans will annihilate the Jews or the Jews will enslave them ( How

In Dawson s, Salvador Roquet, María Sabina, and the Trouble with Jipis talked about the positive side
of drugs like LSD and mushrooms. Salvador Roquet and Maria Sabina both used these drugs as ways
to treat people psychology. Roquet had a clinic in Mexico City where he treated hundreds of patients
with LSD and Sabina who was a shaman and treated tribesmen and visitors with mushrooms. Both
had great success before the ban on hallucinogenic drugs in Mexico and America. When reading the
paper, I was most interested in Roquet s methods of treatment. His ban on consuming alcohol eight
hours before the treatment, the showing of pornography and other alarming images/videos during
treatment. I was surprised that something like this worked so well.

An Overview Of Food Safety Essay
An Overview of Food Safety
Unsafe food has been a human health problem since history was first recorded, and many food safety
problems encountered today are not new. Although governments all over the world are doing their best
to improve the safety of the food supply, the occurrence of foodborne disease remains a significant
health issue in both developed and developing countries as stated by WHO (2006). Food safety
concept is that food will not harm the consumer so long as intended use guidelines are followed when
it is prepared or eaten. Conversely, food is potentially harmful whenever it has been exposed to
hazardous agents and intended use guidelines have not been followed (ISO 22000, 2005). York et al.
(2009) as well as Gormley et al. (2011) reported that There is no doubt that the food safety is of great
importance because it provides supplied food safety and secures the conditions and actions through
the production, processing, storage or distribution of food to ensure its safety or suitability for human
consumption Safe Food is free from contaminants and risk and that does not cause injury or damage or
disease of the human food in the long term or the short. Food Safety Management
Food safety management is a network of interrelated elements that combine to ensure that food does
not cause adverse human health effects. These elements include programs, plans, policies, procedures,

The Legacy of the Canadarm
The Canadarm has a rich modern heritage and has a great legacy for the Canada in space and
exploration. The Canadarm was critical to the success of the United States shuttle program. The
National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) created the shuttle program with the vision of
a reusable spacecraft for the next generation of human space flight. NASA faced a series of problems
including the issue of manipulating objects in space. The solution required precision for manipulation
of objects in orbit. NASA turned to the international community to create a solution. One of the
proposals from DSMAAtcon interested NASA. The company made manipulator ... Show more

Canadian government held negotiations to resolve the issue. NASA took a chance with the untested
Canadian companies and agreed to purchase four units, that would soon be known as the Canadarm.
SPAR Aerospace was contracted to create the manipulator system with DSMAAtcon and the NRC of

So General Montgomery Meigs was in charge of finding cemeteries. That s when General Meigs

In Recent Years, Public Sector Organizations Increasingly

overcoming resource constraints and solving complex problems such as natural disaster preparation.
Collaboration offers a means of achieving synergy among the public sector, private sector, and non
governmental organizations when strategizing, preparing, and responding during times of impending
disasters. When faced with such a complex challenge, various federal, state and local agencies unite to

Also, according to U.S. Code Title 18, it is not legal for the U.S. Army or U.S. Air Force to assist with
law enforcement activities. Thus, under disaster conditions, only the local police or state controlled
National Guard elements may conduct law enforcement and peace keeping. Stakeholder organizations
or communities may expect assistance from federal military units to respond to their policing needs,
but the federal military units must contact the local police or National Guard to respond. This can
create significant friction because of stakeholder organization or community expectations.
Second, resource management for disaster relief is another complicated friction point. Each
organizational member of the council has their own methods for managing and acquiring resources
and supplies and maintaining capacity. The aforementioned issue of authorities creates legal
considerations that organizations must rectify prior to the sharing of resources. Additionally, since
each organization may use separate methods for resource management, this could cause numerous
friction points from management philosophies to automated systems passing information. Finally, if
some communities or organizations perceive there is unfair sharing of resources, this can create
significant disruption to these communities or organizations squabble among each other.

Feudalism In Siegfried
IT S INTERESTING to see how history is distorted in the act of grasping it: how it bends to fit the
mind of the person who takes it in. You can investigate a historical epoch and watch as others, arriving
at disparate conclusions, paint a portrait with a selection of colors chosen to fulfill their needs. A man
is bound to feel that in the careless approach of others, he himself stands accused: is he not guilty of
the same crime, of distorting history to his own ends, lacking merely the person with sufficient
subtlety to call him to account?
Joachim Fest said that the political maturity of the German people came only after the loss of their
inner, spiritually romantic interior the relic of feudalism that had not yet given way. This world of
glorious Heroes and Grand Gestures which Wagner seeked to portray in music, and which Hitler
forged a connection to largely through Wagner s operas, apparently watching Siegfried 30 or more
times. Ah, Heroic artwork.
One of the main differences between the lingering feudalistic mindset of Germany and the
individualist mindset which was rising in the West, was the relationship to authority. In the West, it
was gradually being understood that self interest could be reliably deferred to when dealing with one s
superiors and even the concept of a superior, of someone placed above oneself in the natural order,
was becoming incomprehensible. In Germany, respect for authority still had it s unquestioning,
deferential, semi religious

Salt Marshes And Salt Marshes
Apparently, marshes are often imagined incorrectly. To some people, they might confuse a marsh to a
swamp or to a wetland. Although relative, marshes are only a kind of wetland, which is land where the
water level is close to the soil surface or covers the surface for at least part of the year. Marshes,
specifically salt marshes, are lush, intertidal grasslands renowned for their productivity (Silliman
2014). Simply, a salt marsh is a coastal ecosystem of grasses characterized by poorly drained mineral
soils due to regular flooding of salt water brought in by ocean tides. Since salt marshes serve as
estuaries between the land and ocean, people do not realize an important role they play in protection;
these coastal marshes are presumed to protect human communities from coastal hazards, such as
storms and hurricanes, by providing important ecosystem services. One very important ecosystem
service is their role as a buffer in protecting coastlines (Shepard et al. 2011). As humans fail to
appreciate and protect these marshes, their continuous impacts on coastal infrastructure would not
only negatively impact humans but to the life on the salt marshes as well. Salt marshes are found in
the temporal zone on protected shorelines throughout the world and are stressful environments due to
their intertidal behaviors. As a result, plants and animals living in salt marshes must have adaptations
to deal with the harsh physical stressors, ranging from high salt concentrations, intense heat, and low
oxygen in waterlogged soils (Sulliman 2014). Nevertheless, there is a positive trade off: although
plants and animals have to overcome these physical obstacles, they get access to abundant resources,
protection from predators, and a high potential for both them and their offspring in return. An example
of this trade off is investigated with a fish, a mummichog Fundulus heteroclitus, a resident of intertidal
salt marshes on the east coast of North America. The study suggests that mummichogs have the ability
to alter their habitat use accordingly to environmental factors, such as heat stress and oxygen
depletion, to create a predation refuge habitat, which would then allow high growth rates (Halpin
2000). Due to the stressful

Tourism and the environment have a very complex and interdependent relationship. Today, tourism is
one of the largest industries in today s world economy and is a great source of foreign exchange for
many developing countries, whose major assets are their natural resources.1 At the same time, it is the
environmental quality of a place that will determine the success of the tourism industry, since it is the
main attraction for tourists. There have been a lot of arguments about whether tourism is beneficial or
harmful to the environment. A lot of the developing countries whose main source of foreign exchange

Pollution: The Effects of Increasing Population and Consumption
Recently, a lot of researchers have been paying attention at how the island has been stressed by heavy
population load. The island s visiting population has more than tripled in twenty years — now equal to
almost half the size of its native, resident population. Although the impact is rather different if the
transient population increases at this rate than if the permanent population does, an increase in the
tourist population of this magnitude poses very similar challenges and problems as any other kind of
population increase.4
In addition to the increasing number of tourists, the migration of native people in search of jobs drawn
bytourism growth has led people to live in environmentally vulnerable locations. Such areas are
already exposed to unfavorable conditions, and more pressure caused by constant overuse of these
territories by people makes it more damaging to the island and its inhabitants.
The heavy flow of tourists is also related to the pollution of the environment. Ordinary things that we

Open Source Philosophy
The History and Philosophy of Open Source
The open source movement was born in 1984, at the MIT Artificial Intelligence Lab when Richard M.
Stallman quit his position at the university to begin the GNU Project. Having grown tired of seeing his
colleagues being hired off by corporations and signing nondisclosure agreements for their work, he set
off to create a completely free, open operating system. Though he specialized in the field, building
such a system from the ground up is nearly impossible for a single person; thus, he began with a more
attainable goal, creating a C compiler. Though he was successful in this, he never managed to create a
kernel (the core of an operating system), aside from GNU Hurd, of which we do not speak.
Fortunately for the movement, one would later emerge with a similar philosophy. Around 1991, the
GNU Project had amassed a respectable number of software packages, including the widely used GCC
and Emacs, though it still lacked the core, a kernel. Then, more than six thousand kilometers away, a
twenty one year old Finnish university student began developing a small, open source system as a
hobby. Once the open source community became interested in it, what started as a small project
capable of little more than displaying text quickly morphed into one of the most widely distributed
pieces of software in history, containing more than twenty million lines of code, contributed to by tens
of thousands of developers across the globe, and with

Eva Case Study
Introduction My family and I have been travel with EVAAirways most of the time when we have to
travel to other countries. Nevertheless, I was not the one who chose the airlines but my parents did.
There are many other choices but why EVAAirways. I was wondering the reasons behind it.
Moreover, I am interesting in working under EVAAirways after graduation. Therefore, I would like to
know more about this company in more detail for future benefits when applying for the job at EVA
Airways.
Background
EVAAirways is a Taiwan based airline company under Evergreen group that provides cabin and cargo
services to over 40 destinations. EVAAirways has established since 1989 as a private international
airline by the company s founder Chang ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Both EVAAirways and Evergreen International Hotels are under the name of Evergreen Group. In the
market, there is no corporation that has both airline and hotels at the same time. They might have
partner hotels but not their own hotels. Evergreen group established Evergreen International Hotels to
extend services that complement the airline. The hotels are located in Keelung, Taipei, Taichung,
Bangkok, Penang, and Paris. In addition, Evergreen International Hotels also earned Business Hotel
Chain in Global Views Magazine s Excellence Service Award (Evergreen International Hotels, n.d.).
The awards earned by EVAAirways and Evergreen International Hotels indicate that the companies
are successful and perform outstanding on their service quality when comparing to other companies.
Competitors
China Airlines, which is the largest airline in Taiwan in terms of revenues and traffic, is the main
competitor of EVAAirways. Both China Airlines and EVAAirways are ranked as 4 star airline by
SkyTrax. Unlike EVAAirways, China Airlines has launched TV commercials, advertisements, and
commercial products. For example, China Airline has published monthly calendar with a Taiwan super
model featuring with China Airlines Stewardess as calendar background every year.
In addition, China Airlines as the direct competitor to EVAAirways, it has 60 shared routes with EVA
Airways which is about 58% of EVAAirways routes (Which Airline, n.d.). Furthermore, EVA

Student Debt For College Students
As decades pass by, obtaining a college degree seems more necessary to get a decent job after
graduating. Therefore, high school students feel the pressure to get into a good university and to get
the highest degree possible, even when they have no plan on how to pay for it. Financial aid has not
kept up with growing tuition prices, and taking out student loans seems almost impossible to avoid.
According to research, About 40 million Americans hold student loans and about 70% of bachelor s
degree recipients graduate with debt. (Market Watch) The U.S currently has a total of 1.3 trillion
dollars of outstanding debt. There is a ton of controversy on how to solve this issue, but there are
progressive solutions schools and college kids need ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Educational shaming is when society looks down on you if you decide to take a route in life that does
not involve college, or does not involve a 4 year degree or higher. It has also come to a point in this
society, if you do not go to college right after high school and do not graduate within 4 years you are
looked down upon by employers. We put a college degree over productive work career. When
employers should start looking to see if you are eligible for a laboring job (and other careers that do
not need schooling) by your learning potential, motivation, integrity, and mental ability instead of a
piece of paper that tells your education and job experience. We are setting up future generations for
disaster if we don t help make a change. We are starting to believe that the American Dream is all
about a white collard job and a college degree. (Ted Talks, Dusty Wunderlich) By 2020, 19 million
more college graduates will enter the workforce but only 7 million of those require a degree. (Ted
Talks) Since every person is different not everyone will be ready for college at 18 and not every
student will have the fast learning ability or money to graduate in 4 years. Changing the way society
thinks is way easier said than done. Students can start taking part of this way of thinking and help
spread awareness by writing letters to congressmen, holding rallies, and by writing and signing

COPD Case Study
Based on the symptoms of exacerbation of COPD, we decided to add Atrovent which is an
anticholinergics, prednisone which is a glucocorticoid, and doxycycline, an antibiotic (Stoller, 2017).
The patient has already been prescribed albuterol, which is a short acting beta adrenergic agonist. In
adding Atrovent to the treatment therapy, it increases the effect of bronchodilation and helps the
patient to breathe better (Stoller, 2017). For the antibiotics, it is recommended that the antibiotic
regimen should target likely bacterial pathogens (Haemophilus influenza, Moraxella catarrhalis, and
Streptococcus pneumonia) (Stoller, 2017). Thus, we chose doxycycline as the drug of choice for the
treatment (Bartlett Sethi, 2017).

Providers also need to be caution in using it on patients who has glaucoma, myasthenia gravis, and
prostatic hyperplasia/bladder neck obstruction (Lexicomp, 2017).
Drug to Drug, Food, Herb Interaction Ipratropium has many drug interactions. Some in the X category
include aclidinium, anticholinergic agents, glucagon, glycopyrrolate, potassium chloride which need
to avoid combining with Atrovent (Lexicomp, 2017). Many of the X category drugs enhance the
anticholinergic effect. Other drugs that are C category include acetylcholinesterase inhibitor,
gastrointestinal agents, nitroglycerin, thiazide diuretics and tiotropium (Lexicomp, 2017). It is
important to note that some of the common drug interactions. For nitro, it is important to remember
the anticholinergic agents may impair or decrease the absorption of sublingual nitrate (Lexicomp,
2017). Also, the potassium chloride, the anticholinergic agent may enhance the ulcerogenic effect on
the oral form of potassium (Lexicomp, 2017).
Administration Guidelines
For Metered dose inhaler, it is important to prim the inhaler, by releasing two test spray in the air,
before use (Lexicomp, 2017).
Clinical Drug Dosing
The recommended dose for acute exacerbation of COPD is 2 inhalation of MDI every four to six
hours (Lexicomp, 2017).
Prednisone
For respiratory diseases, it treats disease such as aspiration pneumonitis, asthma, pulmonary
tuberculosis, hypersensitivity pneumonitis, and pulmonary fibrosis (Lexicomp, 2017).

Comparison of the Two Essays The Meaning of a Word and...
In The Meaning of a Word and Being a Chink , Gloria Naylor and Christine Leong examine words of
hatred that are meant to scorn, hurt and disgrace people. But these same words could also be used
without harmful intentions and in a fashion of endearment amongst the people those words were
created for. They each had a different word to discriminate their different culture and ethnicity. These
writers discuss the words nigger and chink , which are words in our language mostly ignorant people
use. Naylor and Leong are also both minorities who were raised in America. They talk about how
discrimination and hatred towards minorities is almost always inevitable in America, which is mostly
populated by Caucasians. Naylor and Leong ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Living in America, it is again expected that these racial slurs are a part of our language. Leong writes
in her essay, Language is the tool used to define us and differentiate us from the next person.
Sometimes these things are innocuous, depending on the particular word and the context in which it is
used. Often they serve to ridicule and humiliate. Both of these writers explain how nigger and chink
are most commonly used in an offensive manner. But the people (chinks and niggers) that those words
were meant to hurt, are also used by the niggers and chinks in their daily conversations. It could be
applied to a man who had distinguished himself in some situation that brought their approval for his
strength, intelligence, or drive (Naylor,1986,p.470).
Naylor and Leong were both minorities raised in an area that was predominately populated by
Caucasians. Naylor writes, I was part of a large extended family that had migrated from the rural
South after World War II and formed a close knit network that gravitated around her maternal
grandparents. Her family knew what nigger meant (as all black people probably do), but was did not
let the dense true meaning of that word get in the way of living. Living in America, they took that
word of disgrace or shame and rendered it ineffective. They made it ineffective by ignoring and hiding
the word s true origins and meaning. Leong grew up in a suburban town in New Jersey populated

Fluoride Concentration In Drinking Water Essay
The (SDWA) did set a primary standards (enforceable limits) for the fluoride concentration in the
drinking water that is 4.0 (mg/L) or 4.0 ppm as a (MCLG MCL) respectively. At this level of
protection which is based on the best available science research that will prevent potential health
problems. In addition, (SDWA) did set a secondary standard (non enforceable limits) for the fluoride
concentration in the drinking water that is 2.0 (mg/L) or 2.0 ppm as a (MCL). At this level which

However, water suppliers who follow the primary standards levels, put young children and their
developing teeth at risk for disease, as the maximum fluoride level is twice that of the recommended
level for children. On the other hand, believing that fluoride is an industrial poison requires to deny
decades of evidence that fluoride at low concentrations has no ill effects. Also have to believe that the
industry is paying the government to keep quiet while industrial dumping of chemical waste into
public water supplies . Thus, for the moment got confused between that statement and anti fluoride
campaigners believe that fluoride in drinking water is harmful because it alters your brain in some
way . However, my stance on adding fluoride in drinking water will join the thought of the majority of
medical and dental practitioners in our community who indicated their support of retaining fluoride in
our community water supply. Since there is no actual and scientific approved evidence of how fluoride
addition into drinking water is harmful for the human (no significant health risk). Besides, as a

Community Water System
The environmental justice hypothesis as stated by Brown, P. is that hazards in the physical and
chemical environmental disproportionately affect those individuals and households that also face
hazards in their social environment. What Brown is indicating is that environmental justice is mostly
seen being acted upon people belonging to the groups of poor, minority and color. The issue of
injustice of exposure of arsenic in poor, minority and color groups is a complex one because of the
natural occurrence of arsenic in ground water shows no bias in who it affects. It can only be avoided
through adequate testing and treatment. The injustice stems from the legal enforcement of new
regulation of the Safe Drinking Water Act (SWDA), updated on January 22, 2001, and the differences
in detection and treatment as subject to different racial and socioeconomic groups. Regulated
communities are asking for flexibility in design of enforcement because it is harder for small public
water systems (PWS) to adhere to new regulation. Smaller systems are unable to adhere to new
regulation in time because they do not have the finances to update technology and machinery. Since
they serve a smaller number of people the cost of updating their facilities is higher per person. Larger
systems are able to spread out the cost more efficiently among a larger number of people making it
easier for them to comply (Cory, D.C.).

The Thucydides Trap Summary
Mr. Allison first coined the phrase The Thucydides Trap, a trap where a rising power will inevitably
challenge the ruling power that could most likely end in war. The Thucydides Trap is occurring in the
21st century between the US, the ruling power, and China, the rising power, who are getting
increasingly more powerful on the international stage. War is most likely possible between the two
powers, but past history shows that the US and China can get out of the trap through peaceful means.
The first evidence that the author uses to support his thesis is previous examples of the ruling power
being challenged by the rising power. The first example that author uses is the rivalry between Athens
and Sparta, which ended with the Peloponnesian war and with Sparta the victor. The war happened
because Sparta and Athens had entangling alliances with other city states who went to war with each
other and called the superpowers into the war. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Even though previously they were on friendly terms, the UK felt threatened by Germany goal of
having a powerful navy and sought allies in Europe to counteract Germany. The entangling alliances
that UK and Germany made brought the whole world into WW1, which ended as the UK and its allies
as the victors. Although 12 out of 16 examples of the Thucydides Trap ended in war, the chart in the
article shows that it is possible to get out through peaceful means.
The second evidence to support his thesis is that the Chinese economy will overtake the US economy.
The Chinese economy is rising significantly, its economy in 1980 was smaller than the Netherlands,
while in 2014 the Chinese increment of growth of its GDP is equal to the entire Dutch economy. As
shown in the GDP chart in the article, the Chinese GDP is growing significantly compared to the rest
of the world and didn t even stopped during the 2008 financial crisis and the Great

St. Louis Piety
St. Louis has all these traits he is well educated, a strong warrior, very pious and has authority. He
comes from the nobility so he was well educated and taught to fight. His family has a long tradition of
being kings and they have a good relation with the Church. But everyone makes him out to be the
ideal king. The kind of king that everyone should aspire to be. But that is not true. He went on two
crusades. On the first his army was defeated and his country was forced to pay for his release. On is
second he was killed. His religious piety was his undoing. He was so focused on religious goals that
he lost sight of being a good king. As talked about early a good king needs to have a balance of traits
and not be overwhelmed by one trait like piety. It ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However during his crusade this may have led to his defeat. During the 7th crusade, the crusades are
faced with a decision of where to go after capturing Damietta. They could choose to follow the 5th
crusade and go down to Mansurah then Cairo or go to Alexandria. Thomas Madden in The Concise
History of the Crusades takes about St. Louis reasoning behind his choice to go to Mansurah. Louis
deeply believed that God was eager to bestow great victories on his army of crusaders, and the ease
with which they had taken Damietta confirmed this for him. He felt certain that similar victories
awaited them at Mansurah and Cairo if only they put their trust in God rather than in clever
bargaining. (Madden pg160) St. Louis felt that God was going to help them win the battles to come
and put his trust in God rather than reason. With his strong devotion to God, it is hard to say that he

Clear Lake Dental Care
People don t usually think of the dentist as the health care professional to see for chronic headaches
and migraines. Yet dentists are often instrumental in diagnosing and treating many cases of recurring
headaches. This is because a number of recurring pains in the head, neck, jaw, and face are caused by
conditions in the mouth and the rest of the craniofacial area. For example, recurring pain in the
temples on the sides of the head are usually caused by teeth grinding or clenching. In some cases,
misalignment in the teeth or jaw area can put pressure in the temporomandibular joint (TMJ, also
called the jaw joint) and lead to pain. If you experience frequent migraines and headaches, head and
neck pain, and popping or clicking sounds when you open or close your mouth, consult your dentist in
Webster right away. You may be suffering from TMJ disorder (TMD). Clear Lake Dental Care is here
to offer migraine headache prevention and relief in your current problem.
What Is TMJ?
The TMJs are your jaw joints on both sides of the head. This is the hinge joint that lets you open and
close your mouth. When the jaw joints are damaged because of teeth grinding, trauma, or gum disease,
you may experience pain and difficulty chewing and speaking. ... Show more content on

To diagnose and rule out other causes of the pain, your dentist will perform a thorough oral
examination. For immediate and long term relief from pain caused by TMD, your dentist may

management, and other conservative therapies. Surgery is usually performed when all other treatments

Not the type of physical exam you would usually get where the doctor draws blood in or checks your
abdominal area. This type of physical exam mainly consists of checking your entire mouth. The
hygienist uses a small mirror and a dental probe or explorer to check around your teeth and gums to
make sure there is no sign of decay. They also check for signs of gingivitis (inflammation of the
gums,) periodontal disease (disease of the gums,) and/or oral cancer. Prior to getting this done, the
hygienist goes over your medical history, taking notes about any heart problems, diabetes, past
surgeries, and medications, that may impact your oral health. After the hygienists do all of this, she/he
may proceed to the second step. The second step is removing the plaque, tartar, and stains that have
accumulated on your teeth. The first tool that hygienists usually uses to do this is an ultrasonic
instrument. The ultrasonic instrument is a device that uses vibrations to remove the larger pieces of
tartar. This instrument also sprays mists of water to wash away the leftover debris. Once the hygienist
removes the larger pieces of tartar, they will switch to a hand instrument called scalers or
curettes.Unlike the ultrasonic instruments, scalers are meant to eliminate the leftover smaller pieces of
tartar and plaque. Each tooth is done individually to ensure that all bacteria, plaque, and tartar is
sufficiently removed. Once the hygienist is finished with the past step and made sure the teeth

White Dolphin Quotes
The book White Dolphin is all about a young girl named Kara. She ,unfortunately, goes through a
terrible time starting with the disappearance of her mother and believing she is dead, too dealing with
contamination in the local coral. When Kara is walking one day with a guy she was not fond of, Felix,
they came across a white dolphin that was trapped in netting and was struggling to survive. Kara and
Felix came together to save the baby white dolphin, reunite him with his mother, and stop the
destruction of the reefs. Branching off of that, there is a song that represents each character. The first
song is Fight Song which goes along with the character Kara, and then there is Give Your Heart a
Break which represents Kara s dad, lastly I Knew You Were Trouble which represents Jake.
To start off the song Fight Song best represents Kara because she has to be a fighter and not give up.
In the song, Rachel sings, I might only have one match but I can make an explosion, (Rachel Platten).
Then in the book, Kara states, I m fine, I say. I tuck my hands under my armpits to warm them up and

trouble, like his dad, (Lewis 22). This quote ties along with the song by showing that he gave a bad
vibe to people around him. Jake s dad was the man who was tearing up the reefs and was a very cruel
man, and people in the community believed his son would be exactly like him. At times Jake would
act like his father and tease Kara about her missing mother and more. To sum it up, Jake was a cruel
and nasty person that took after the role of his father, but turned his life around in the

Companies have been cautioned though about over segmenting their markets, this could lead to the organization wanting to counter segment, in order to broaden its customer base. According to the corporate report on Cell C 2008; as a means of improving its infrastructure and positioning in order to yield good results. The organization had resorted to turning its attention to defining its target market, having performed intensive research and tested various offers that could provide all important differentiation. • 3. Supernatural Events In Macbeth Research Paper Sydney Reynolds Smith AP Lang 3/31/15 Supernatural Events in Macbeth William Shakespeare had a common theme of supernatural events and attributes in his plays. This continues in his famous play, Macbeth, where there are four main supernatural events that incite the plot of the play. These metaphysical components add drama and excitement to the play and are the catalysts to Macbeth s tragic hero downfall. The encountering of the witches, the imaginary dagger, Banquo s ghost, and the apparitions all added dramatic elements to the play including foreshadowing, suspense, subconscious thoughts, and plot stimulants. Through the combination of unearthly phenomenon s and mundane characters, Shakespeare creates an imaginative plot that establishes character s true thoughts and causes the characters to act on ideas brought upon by these supernatural projections. He has just slain several traitors in the civilization and is well respected by King Duncan and his fellow noblemen. The witches impose what they call Macbeth s fate on Macbeth and he whole heartedly trusts and believes them. The prophesies are presented in a way of greeting Macbeth with, Hail to thee, thane of Glamis! Hail to thee, thane of Cawdor! and All hail, Macbeth, that shalt be king hereafter! (1.3.49 51) Since shortly after these proclamations, Macbeth actually was presented with the title of Thane of Cawdor, he feels he has reason to trust what these supernatural sisters are telling him. Each of the prophesies the witches make foreshadow the events in future scenes in the play that either naturally happen, like in the case of Thane of Glamis and Thane of Cawdor, or Macbeth ... • 4. The Causes Of Wealth Inequality In America Grace Ogunkunle Prof. D. Fozouni English 102 (SBVC) Research Paper Dec 8, 2017. Wealth Gap In America Americans today live in a distinctly unequal society. Inequality is now wider than it used to be in the last century, and the division in income, wages, and wealth are broader than they are in other developed economies of the world. Wealth inequality is the imbalance of wealth or income within a society, and it is one of the most vital economic challenge the US is facing today because the distribution of wealth is more dispersed, making the inequality in wealth distribution at its highest. While the matter has been discussed for many years, the actual income disparity in the U.S. has heightened and is now verging on an extreme gap that portends to impede long term economic growth. The huge gap between the wealthy and poor is squeezing the U.S. economy, the wealth gap threatens economic growth by diminishing social mobility and producing a less educated workforce who are not able to compete in the global economy. unrestrained level of income inequality causes political pressures, it discourages trade, investment, and hiring. The present level of income inequality in the U.S. is shrinking GDP growth, and the world s largest economy is struggling to recover from the Great Recession. Wealth inequality has become a hot topic in recent years, this is because the return rate on capital, such as stocks or real estate, outruns that of economic growth which resulted in the wealthiest grasping a growing share of wealth, leading to increasing inequality. The unequal distribution of wealth has been a major hallmark of the U.S economy, and among its most notable and lasting results, but until it was brought to the awareness of the public by the Occupy movement s catch phrase referring to the 1% of the populace who control half of the nation s wealth, this issue had not been brought to the limelight of public economic and political discourse since the Great Depression of the 1930s, and almost every American is basically unaware of the true magnitude and character of the unequal distribution of wealth in our country. Inequality in wealth i.e. the sum of household savings, home equity, investments, and debts is ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

I believe it is more a love hate relationship as long as numerous people are looking for the lowest price when they consider buying anything and consequently, many people buy their things at Walmart. Walmart is a price Maker. Accordingly, they can decide how much they want to pay for a certain good and if it is still realistic they will find a producer or supplier. • 6. Public Grievances With Emphasis On Administrative Law Essay The government of a country has been understood to be of vital importance for purposes of stability, responsibility, and accountability of the nation. China s government is no less different from this important context. With the complex structure of China s government, scholars have argued that the government s function, with its high favorability rate, is an interesting dynamic that no other country possesses. Although there are many functions that a government should be fulfilling, Teresa Wright, in her book, Party and State in Post Mao China, examines how China is able to satisfy basic functions of government that she argues is of importance. Wright explains that specific government features have influenced its ability to fulfill their governmental functions. As Wright argues, the main focus of this paper shall be to examine China and its ability in addressing public grievances with emphasis on administrative law. Specifically, the paper shall attempt to answer whether or not the Chinese government is adequately attempting to address public grievances. The aim of this paper is not to argue whether or not administrative law is successful in comparison to other nations, e.g. the United States, but whether or not it is successful in the context of their government. Part I of this paper shall outline the history and creation of administrative law in China. With the creation of administrative law, there was a notion to differentiate Civil Procedure Law with Administrative ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Mein Kampf Hitler s Persuasion Hitler s Persuasion; How Hitler Persuaded the Public Hitler had ideas to commit horrible acts of evil, but how did he convince the public to help him do those things? We need to understand this to prevent things like it from happening again. Hitler persuaded the public by gaining the power of dictator, brainwashing the public with speeches, and giving away copies of Mein Kampf to further influence the public. In order to get his ideas into people s heads, he made it a ritual to give newly married couples a copy of Mein Kampf (Mein Kampf). Also, Hitler indoctrinated the public with speeches. By reading the works of Gustave Le Bon, he learned about how the psychology of the crowd works. From this information, Hitler learned how to unify the crowd by pointing out a common problem, then he showed how he can get rid of the problem so that they would want to help him and give him their loyalty. In order to convince the audience, Hitler used a lot of repetition and stereotypes in his speech ( Hitler s Guide ). An Overview Of Food Safety Essay An Overview of Food Safety Unsafe food has been a human health problem since history was first recorded, and many food safety problems encountered today are not new. Although governments all over the world are doing their best to improve the safety of the food supply, the occurrence of foodborne disease remains a significant health issue in both developed and developing countries as stated by WHO (2006). The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) created the shuttle program with the vision of a reusable spacecraft for the next generation of human space flight. In Recent Years, Public Sector Organizations Increasingly In recent years, public sector organizations increasingly leverage collaboration as a means of overcoming resource constraints and solving complex problems such as natural disaster preparation. Collaboration offers a means of achieving synergy among the public sector, private sector, and non governmental organizations when strategizing, preparing, and responding during times of impending disasters. When faced with such a complex challenge, various federal, state and local agencies unite to develop and implement an emergency response plan, outlining essential responsibilities (Perry Nigg, 1985). • 16. Feudalism In Siegfried IT S INTERESTING to see how history is distorted in the act of grasping it: how it bends to fit the mind of the person who takes it in. You can investigate a historical epoch and watch as others, arriving at disparate conclusions, paint a portrait with a selection of colors chosen to fulfill their needs. A man is bound to feel that in the careless approach of others, he himself stands accused: is he not guilty of the same crime, of distorting history to his own ends, lacking merely the person with sufficient subtlety to call him to account? Joachim Fest said that the political maturity of the German people came only after the loss of their inner, spiritually romantic interior the relic of feudalism that had not yet given way. • 17. Salt Marshes And Salt Marshes Apparently, marshes are often imagined incorrectly. To some people, they might confuse a marsh to a swamp or to a wetland. Although relative, marshes are only a kind of wetland, which is land where the water level is close to the soil surface or covers the surface for at least part of the year. Marshes, specifically salt marshes, are lush, intertidal grasslands renowned for their productivity (Silliman 2014). Simply, a salt marsh is a coastal ecosystem of grasses characterized by poorly drained mineral soils due to regular flooding of salt water brought in by ocean tides. Since salt marshes serve as estuaries between the land and ocean, people do not realize an important role they play in protection; these coastal marshes are presumed to protect human communities from coastal hazards, such as storms and hurricanes, by providing important ecosystem services. One very important ecosystem service is their role as a buffer in protecting coastlines (Shepard et al. 2011). As humans fail to appreciate and protect these marshes, their continuous impacts on coastal infrastructure would not only negatively impact humans but to the life on the salt marshes as well. Salt marshes are found in the temporal zone on protected shorelines throughout the world and are stressful environments due to their intertidal behaviors. As a result, plants and animals living in salt marshes must have adaptations to deal with the harsh physical stressors, ranging from high salt concentrations, intense heat, and low oxygen in waterlogged soils (Sulliman 2014). Nevertheless, there is a positive trade off: although plants and animals have to overcome these physical obstacles, they get access to abundant resources, protection from predators, and a high potential for both them and their offspring in return. An example of this trade off is investigated with a fish, a mummichog Fundulus heteroclitus, a resident of intertidal salt marshes on the east coast of North America. The study suggests that mummichogs have the ability to alter their habitat use accordingly to environmental factors, such as heat stress and oxygen depletion, to create a predation refuge habitat, which would then allow high growth rates (Halpin 2000). Pollution: The Effects of Increasing Population and Consumption Recently, a lot of researchers have been paying attention at how the island has been stressed by heavy population load. The island s visiting population has more than tripled in twenty years — now equal to almost half the size of its native, resident population. Although the impact is rather different if the transient population increases at this rate than if the permanent population does, an increase in the tourist population of this magnitude poses very similar challenges and problems as any other kind of population increase.4 In addition to the increasing number of tourists, the migration of native people in search of jobs drawn bytourism growth has led people to live in environmentally vulnerable locations. Such areas are already exposed to unfavorable conditions, and more pressure caused by constant overuse of these territories by people makes it more damaging to the island and its inhabitants. The heavy flow of tourists is also related to the pollution of the environment. Stallman quit his position at the university to begin the GNU Project. Having grown tired of seeing his colleagues being hired off by corporations and signing nondisclosure agreements for their work, he set off to create a completely free, open operating system. Though he specialized in the field, building such a system from the ground up is nearly impossible for a single person; thus, he began with a more attainable goal, creating a C compiler. Though he was successful in this, he never managed to create a kernel (the core of an operating system), aside from GNU Hurd, of which we do not speak. Fortunately for the movement, one would later emerge with a similar philosophy. Around 1991, the GNU Project had amassed a respectable number of software packages, including the widely used GCC and Emacs, though it still lacked the core, a kernel. Then, more than six thousand kilometers away, a twenty one year old Finnish university student began developing a small, open source system as a hobby. Once the open source community became interested in it, what started as a small project capable of little more than displaying text quickly morphed into one of the most widely distributed pieces of software in history, containing more than twenty million lines of code, contributed to by tens of thousands of developers across the globe, and with ... • 28. Community Water System The environmental justice hypothesis as stated by Brown, P. is that hazards in the physical and chemical environmental disproportionately affect those individuals and households that also face hazards in their social environment. What Brown is indicating is that environmental justice is mostly seen being acted upon people belonging to the groups of poor, minority and color. The issue of injustice of exposure of arsenic in poor, minority and color groups is a complex one because of the natural occurrence of arsenic in ground water shows no bias in who it affects. It can only be avoided through adequate testing and treatment. The injustice stems from the legal enforcement of new regulation of the Safe Drinking Water Act (SWDA), updated on January 22, 2001, and the differences in detection and treatment as subject to different racial and socioeconomic groups. Regulated communities are asking for flexibility in design of enforcement because it is harder for small public water systems (PWS) to adhere to new regulation. Smaller systems are unable to adhere to new regulation in time because they do not have the finances to update technology and machinery. Since they serve a smaller number of people the cost of updating their facilities is higher per person. Larger systems are able to spread out the cost more efficiently among a larger number of people making it easier for them to comply (Cory, D.C.). ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
