Negotiation Is Not An Easy Process
Negtiation is a strategic process of reconciling differences in interest and coming to a mutual
resolution through cooperation that is percieved fair for both of involved parties (Fells 2012). The
negotiation that was analysed in the Enterprise Agreement Negotiation Report, demonstrates that
negotiation is not an easy process nor its orderly, since it is the activity and not the segment that
determines the phase of a negotiation. According to Halpert et al. s Path model, negotiation consists of
different phases such as preparation, differentiation, exploration, and exchange. The preparation phase
in our previous negotiation became an essential part that played a role of evaluation of both parties
positions in our successful outcome. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Naturally, the union took the intitiative to develop creative solutions that explored the options in front
of them oppose to taking on a competitive approach that would involve exchange of trade offs (Fells
2014). An effective negotiator is a strategic negotiator, who is able to switch back and forth between
different phases of a negotiation without losing the goal in mind. An effective negotiator takes time to
process what is happening during the negotiation and ensures that the right problem is being resolved
while taking into consideration other party s intrests to finding a common ground. Concequently those
type of actions facilitate in the process of a negotiation by creating a cooperative environment and
enhance the furture relationship between the parties (Fells 2012; Sebenius 2001). An effective
negotiator aknowledges that no party is the same and as every negotiation, every negotiator is different
from one another. These variations explain the DNA of negotiation that requires an effective
negotiator to take into considerations the strands of the DNA, such as reciprocity, trust, power,
information exchange, ethics, and outcome that vary from person to person (Fells 2012, pg 8). A
negotiation script is a metophorical storyline of a negotiation that aids in understanding of what is

Social Change in Two Novels Essay
Social Forces are the Forces of the environment that include the demographic characteristics of the
population and its values. (Richard J. Ch.3) The social forces can affect the conceptual framework of
marriage, education, social class, and politics. In the Nineteenth Century, many authors addressed
those social forces in forms of novels. Among those authors were William Makepeace Thackeray and
Thomas Hardy. This essay will compare and contrast the nature and function of society and social
forces on Thackeray s Vanity Fair and Hardy s Tess D Urberville.

Victorian Era while focusing on how it affects and motivates the aristocratic members of ... Show

Her manipulative character sparks different emotions from the Crawleys but succeeds in impressing
the wealthiest of its members, Aunt Matilda Crawley. Meanwhile, she figures that Matilda s fortune
will eventually be in the possession of her favourite nephew, Rawdon.
Thackeray examines Rebecca s character in the event of Sir Pitt s proposal while she was secretly
married to his son, Rawdon. When she refused Sir Pitt, Thackeray described her refusal in a tone of
regret as she considers Sir Pitt as a potential asset considering his wealth, age, and needs in
comparison to Rawdon. The narrator describes Rebecca emotions as she gave away to some sincere
and touching regrets that a piece of marvellous good fortune should have been so near her, and she
actually obliged to decline it. (P. 138)
Thackeray also mentions Sir Pitt s second wife, Lady Rawson, in an attempt to warn the reader of
what may become of Becky Sharp. Lady Rawson gave up her previous relationship which was based
on love to end up marrying Sir Pitt for his wealth and social standing. Although wealth was granted to
her, her life lacked any sort of happiness or satisfaction. The narrator later describe Rose s life as her
rose faded out of her cheeks, and the pretty freshness left her figure after the birth of a couple children,
and she became a mere matching in her husband s house, of no more use than the late lady Crawley s
grand piano. (P. 74)
Social forces also motivated parental attitudes in Vanity

Canada Government s Health Care System
Canada government allowed change to the privatization health care system to citizens Every countries
governments seek to deliver high quality health care and reasonable cost to all citizens. However, all
nations have not equality health care service and reasonable cost. Canada government provides
equality health care services and public facilities to the citizens. However, Canada Health Care System
has been the subject of controversies compared to the United States Health Care System. Some people
may agree with the idea because people should not wait longer for surgeries or examinations, patients
have high quality of medical and better services. However, if change the health care system, Canada
government cannot intervene to health care system, Canada citizens pay higher medical cost and do
not get equality services. One of the most important reasons why health care should not be
privatization to citizen is Canada government cannot intervene to health care system. The government
do not provide the health care service to the public. The reasons for health care depend on government
polices rather than private enterprises. First, health care services will be monopolization to private

1970s Nuclear Family
The new family of the 1970s grew up as children with no father figure, did not remember wartime
hardships and saw family life depicted through American movies. Civil law changed the system to
nuclear family through the exposure of Western influence that was seen as the ideal for the Japanese
family. The concept of nuclear family has influenced the increase in singles, martial couples and
single parent units which by Nonoyama (2000) sees this as a disorganization of the framework of
nuclear structure. Imamura (1990) discusses that love marriages were encouraged with the influence
of the western culture, where young people saw to reconsider the ways of courtship before marriage,
which decreased numbers of traditional arranged marriages. This

Going For The Look
Kailey Jimenez English IV Mrs. Gilbert, Per 3 10 January, 2017 Going for the Look A considerable
problem in today society is discrimination. Whether it s based upon race, age, sexuality, or even looks,
discrimination is a serious dilemma. Marshal Cohen, a senior industry analyst with the NPD Group,
believes that hiring people who are walking billboards is critical and essential to a company s success.
The companies who hire based on looks, fail to realize that there are shoppers who do not care about
the appearance of the store employees, just as long as they are receiving good customer service.
People cannot completely control their appearance and brands like Abercrombie and Fitch, Hollister,
and American Apparel should take notice to that. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It s really important to create an environment that s enticing to the community, particularly with the
younger, fashionable market. Cohen may be right when he says that it is important to create an
enticing environment, however some people believe that the way he is going about this is wrong. It is
possible to create an enticing environment with friendly people who don t have outstanding looks.
Today s society has shown that people aspire to be gorgeous and idolize the beautiful, but they relate
more to people who look just like them. If someone were to walk into Hollister and see someone who
looks like them rocking an outfit that they typically wouldn t wear, they are more likely to be inspired
to try out the stores products. Stephen J. Roppolo, a New Orleans lawyer, tells employers that their
focus needs to be hiring people who can get the job done because when companies want to hire to
project a certain image, things can get screwy. I have seen some first hand examples of questionable
hiring methods. Many of the stores in the mall near my home are excellent examples of hiring based
on appearance over caliber. In numerous stores, I have noticed that the employees who work towards
the front of the stores are usually Caucasian and outstandingly beautiful, and the employees towards
the back of the stores tend to be of more latin descent. I have had multiple friends

Hair Loss And Hair Thinning
Hair loss and hair thinning can be a major issue for both men and women. Our hair serves as our
crown every day, representing our style and personality. In women, hair care is very important since
the old days. Maintaining good hair is now a growing trend in older women to avert negative image of
aging.
Hair is a beautiful part of human biology. Did you know that the human scalp has at least 100,000 hair
follicles? The hair grows in an even rate by about half an inch per month or six inches each year. The
hair grows from the root or bottom of the follicle, while the blood vessels nourish the root. Oil glands
provide the necessary chemicals to keep the hair shiny and soft. Every food or medication you have
taken recently may be reflected on your hair, the reason why chemical analysis of the human hair is
used as a diagnostic tool.
Hair loss does not automatically indicate a health problem. We lose about 50 to 100 hairs a day and
that is perfectly normal. The indication of abnormal hair loss is when your hair falls out in clumps,
visual signs of thinning, and exposure of large parts of your scalp. Some women can experience hair
loss during menopause while men suffer from baldness due to genetics. There are other factors that
can cause hair loss, such as diet, stress, and lifestyle habits.
1. Androgenetic alopecia is the most common type of hair loss caused by genetics. The condition can
lead to baldness and hereditary thinning. About 80 million people in the United States, both men and
women, suffer from this type of hair loss.
2. Certain medical conditions, such as diabetes and lupus, may contribute to hair loss. Alopecia areata
or other autoimmune disorders cause the immune cells to attack your own hair, leading to hair
thinning and hair loss. Diabetes slows down the process of hair growth and having the disease can
make you vulnerable to alopecia areata. Thyroid disorders like hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism
can also cause hair to fall out.
3. Insufficient nutrition can disrupt the hair growth cycle. Certain deficiencies affect the growth of hair
cells, which slows down the cycle and results in unhealthy hair texture. According to a hair and scalp
specialist Dr. Lisa Caddy, eating a healthy and

The First Golden Age Of Television
Sixth Response
In the first golden age, there was no gold. In fact, there was no color, only black and white. The first
golden age of television occurred in the nineteen fifties and the gold was quite humble on the surface.
Because the shows were about local police, cowboys and housewives. However, these wholesome
programs acted like an awl, digging deep into the national psyche, bringing out something truly
valuable and sought after by everyone. These shows exemplified the feelings of a nation and gave
everyone a model to follow and a dream to chase. There are many who say that the turn of the century
marked the second golden age of television. This carries into the present day, with television drama

Bezzerides holds her own in a male dominated police force. Most of her early interactions with males
puts her on top, dominating males at their own perceived games of strength, coldness and tact.
Examples of this include an early meeting with her father where tells her father he failed her, engaging
in casual sex and refusing to accept emotional advances from anyone. Later during the show,
Bezzerides goes undercover at a sex party to find evidence towards who killed the corrupt city official.
During the process of being groomed to enter, she is forced to ingest MDMA. A repressed childhood
memory surfaces during advances by an older male. It is a bearded face of a man, who stayed at her
father s spiritual retreat when she was a child. This man called her pretty and lured in into his VW van
to proceed to sexually abused her for two days in a cave. It is here that the Freudian personality
themes emerge In Bezzerides interactions. Shortly after escaping the party, Bezzerides makes love to
another protagonist, after which she is further able to explore the repressed memory. Recalling that she
felt proud that her abuser thought she was pretty. Her anger at the male aggressor and her father was
repressed because it was damaging to her ego. In effort to protect herself the sexual feelings and
aggression were displaced and sublimated though working a dominating career. The defense of

I have already previously defined the meaning of a disciple. So we know a disciple is a follower of

the other is a follower of someone with an inspiring talent like a singer. I have also described biblical
examples of Jesus call to his first disciples. From this we learnt about the importance of trust and

Maximilian Kolbe had travelled as a missionary to countries in the Far East as well as Russia. In 1930

Analysis Of The Poem The Bay Of Naples
When I was looking through 17th 18th century European artwork in the Norton Simon Museum, there
was one piece of art that really stood out to me. That beautiful art piece was the Bay of Naples by
Claude Joseph Vernet. This piece stood out to me because of the beautiful scenery that is displayed
and the deep serenity the piece gives me when I look at it. The Bay of Naples is a painting of a
landscape that captures the daily life of the bay. The materials used for this painting was oil on canvas.
Claude Joseph Vernet made a painting that brings your attention to the foreground. In the front, there
is a boat being boarded. Some of the people that are not boarding the boat are standing by the sea. In
the sea, some boats are sailing off in the distance. One of the boats in the distance is a large boat that
gives the illusion of being three dimensional. The form gives this illusion because of the reflection in
the sea. If you look in the lower right, you can see the light from the sun illuminating the sky. This
light is hidden behind a large mountain that also has a three dimensional form. There is also lots of
texture in the painting. Some texture is seen in the mountains and ground giving a rough look, and
some is seen in the sea in the form of ripples. On top of the mountain in the lower right, there is
greenery that has an illusion of being light and feathery. In that mountain, there is an arch that makes
the other side visible. In the far distance, you can see a faint

Morality In The Lion King
The Lion King: Simba s Journey Towards Sanity and Morality
Walt Disney s The Lion King opens with a magnificent introduction to the forthcoming King of the
Pride Lands, providing the audience with an impression of the intriguing journey that is on the verge
of unfolding. As the story progresses, it becomes evident that Simba is in the midst of a quest. Such
evidence is portrayed in the film through his possession of heroic qualities, such as courage, love, and
perseverance. In addition, the process of undergoing trials, receiving aid, fighting enemies, and
succeeding at attaining the treasure sought, contributes towards sanity and morality within him (Myth
of a Quest: an Archetype). Therefore, in the film The Lion King, Simba s journey would be considered
a quest for sanity and morality since throughout the film the main character deals with a darker evil
side, comes to terms with some kind of personal integration and reaches a self understanding.
In the beginning of the narrative, a portrayal of various characters and their relationships with Simba
demonstrates their contribution towards Simba s ability to comprehend the existence of a darker, evil
side. First, the jealousy emanated by the antagonist, Scar, towards the position that Mufasa upholds in
the kingdom, provides an insight to the evil Simba faces. Consequently, as a young child, Simba
understands the difference between good and evil through the juxtaposition manifested in the
behaviour of both his father and

A Broadway Dream Book Analysis
Picture it. Broadway during the 1920s. Florenz Ziegfeld produces a revue called Ziegfeld s Follies.
Girls appear in elaborate costumes bordering on the risque. Gangsters are running rampant from Al
Capone to Bugs Moran to Machine Gun Kelly. This is the world in which Agnes Bobbie Storey finds
herself.
Agnes family lived in Leaholme until the war nearly closed their inn, forcing them to find work in
London. Shortly afterward, her father dies of Spanish Influenza, and Agnes is forced to find a job to
help support her family. She manages to land a job at a restaurant belonging to a friend of her father. It
is here that she wins The Most Beautiful Barmaid in London contest. This sparks Andre Charlot to
offer her a spot in his revue that is traveling to Broadway. She immediately accepts, thus beginning
her love affair with fame, success, and New York City.
A Broadway Dream by Jane Hill is a fiction based on the historical person by the name of Bobbie
Storey. Amazon has this correctly classified as historical fiction or biographical fiction; however, it
was incorrectly classified as romance on OBC. The book is fairly short with only about 200 pages.
It may seem odd, but my favorite part of this story was the ending. I am not familiar with the history
of the 1920s nor the life of Bobbie Storey. Therefore when I read the ending, I was actually taken
aback. To me, the ending contributed to the reality of the story. It s unfortunate that I cannot share this
ending, but I

The Crucifixion By Brecht Durer Analysis
Brecht Durer once said, What beauty is, I know not, though it adheres to many things. Brecht Durer
was a German painter, print maker, and theorist who was born on May 21, 1471 and died on April 6,
1528 in Nuremberg, Germany. His extensive work in printmaking established his reputation in
Europe, making him one of the leading artists of the Renaissance period. A print is a work of art made
up of ink on paper and existing in multiple examples. Durer s woodcut prints often depicted religious
subjects and revealed technical skills that had never before been seen. Woodcut is a technique in
printmaking where the artist carves images from a piece of wood. Then it is covered with a thin layer
of ink so the carved parts remain ink less. His woodcut piece, The Crucifixion, was made in
Nuremberg, Germany in 1498 during the Northern Renaissance period. This print is one out of a series

Yesit S Actually Not All That Easy To Answer That Simple
Yes It s actually not all that easy to answer that simple question. But recently, scientists have made a
pretty good effort. And their final count is 37.2 trillion. Calculating the number of cells in the human
body is tricky.Everyone s body is made of the same basic stuff. All living things, large or small, plant
or animal, are made up of cells. Most living things are made up of one cell and they are called
unicellular organisms. Many other living things are made up of a large number of cells that form a
larger plant or animal. These living things are known as multicellular organisms. Water makes up
about two thirds of the weight of cells. Yes Cells are very small; most cells can only be seen through a

It is the oxygen in air that your body really needs. Every cell in your body needs oxygen to help it
metabolize (burn) the nutrients released from food for energy. You also know that you need food.
Food gives you energy, but oxygen is needed to break down the food into pieces that are small enough
for your cells to use This is known as cellular respiration and it is the process of oxidizing food
molecules, like glucose, to carbon dioxide and water. The energy released is chemically trapped for
use by all the energy consuming activities of the cell. Your cells are the energy converters for your
body.
Different cells have different jobs to do. Each cell has a size and shape that is suited to its job. Cells
that do the same job combine together to form body tissue, such as muscle, skin, or bone tissue.
Groups of different types of cells make up the organs in your body, such as your heart, liver, or lungs.
Each organ has its own job to do, but all organs work together to maintain your body. A group of
different organs working together to do a job makes up a system. All the systems in your body are like
members of a team whose job it is to keep you alive and healthy.
The different types of cells in your body have different, specialized jobs to do. The specialization of
cells depends almost always on the exaggeration of properties common to cells. For example, cells
that line the intestine have extended cell membranes. This increases the amount of

Classical Psychedelics And Dissociative Drugs
As we know, hallucinogens are a type of drug that specialize in distorting the way a user perceives
time, motion, colors, sounds, and self, or simply, causing psychological consequences onto their
victims (Volkow 2015). However, the Foundation for a Drug Free World (FDFW) prefers to link the
term hallucinations , or psychological experiences in seeing images, hearing sounds and feeling
sensations that seem very real but do not exist, to hallucinogens as a better and summarized definition
replacement (2016). True to some level, the two categories that make up hallucinogens, classical
psychedelics and dissociative drugs, each specialize into specific psychological harm, which
correspondingly, simplifies our broad description in what hallucinogens commonly cause. Once a
classical hallucinogen, like LSD, psilocybin, and DMT, is taken and ingested, psychological effects
consisting of psychotic like episodes that can occur long after a person has taken the drug, massive
mood swings, emotions to swing wildly and unpredictably, real world sensations to appear unreal, and
ultimately intense modifications in the sensorium, the sense of self, and the experience of reality, are
all experienced throughout the phase up until the presence of the hallucinogen is no longer present in
the body (Volkow 2016, Alonso 2015). A very similar process that happens when a dissociative drug is

The Islamic Religious Laws Practiced By Muslim
The Islamic religious laws practiced by Muslim s around the world that belong to the traditional legal
system known as Sharia has made headlines around the world for its barbaric, harsh and inhumane
punishments and reasoning. The terms Quran, Zina , Sharia, Fiqh, Kanunname, Qadi and Ijtihad are
all terms that represent some sort of aspect of traditional Islamic components, laws and or ways of life.
I argue that over time, some of the terms stated above have changed and others not so much depending
on the way they are applied and practiced. The comparisons of punishments and fines within different
social classes and genders in the different era s significantly addresses proof of evolution of the terms
previously stated is true but only according to the circumstances attributed to the term in question and
how it is practiced.
Over time, in most cases, things change for the better. A combination between ethical societies,
modernized non violent punishment tactics and human rights obligations are the fundamentals of
freedom a functional society. Unfortunately, we cannot say the same for the traditional Islamic legal
system, which is known as Sharia. Sharia is seen by most non Muslim s to be intolerable and
inhumane because the codes and punishments are often too severe for the average non Muslims to
comprehend without knowing the historical understanding of the laws that where implemented way
back when but that are still practiced and followed by Muslims. Sharia is seen as

Native American Role In Ww2 Case Study
Throughout the history of the United States, the Native American community as a whole has always
been nothing but a resource to use according the needs of the U.S. government. In fact, this
governmental point of view starts with Jefferson s executive order to stop the extermination, in order
to have cheap manpower to work the crops , to present day Trump s constant conflict with Native
American nations, in pursuance of creating a political tool to demonstrate power . However, the
Native American s role in World War II is one of the most overlooked events in U.S. history. Actually,
this case illustrates the government s use of the Native American community as a material resource in
a detailed and contrasting manner. The U.S campaign to dominate the Asian Pacific coast, during
World War II would have taken an entirely different course if it had not been for the participation of
the Navajo Code talkers. The Navajo facilitated the radio transmissions between the U.S commands in
battle. One example of their vital importance, was the Saipan incident where Navajo radio
transmission was necessary to stop the mistaken bombardment of U.S marines over their own
commands. A further example, was their participation in the battle of Iwo Jima holds the record of 48
hours around the clock of Navajo radio decryption without error. Particularly, this participation
supported the establishment of the bombing route that later on ended the war. Nowadays, U.S history

Nikki Caro Whale Rider Speech
Hello Year 8, my name is Nikki Caro and today I am going to talk to you about the film Whale Rider. I
directed Whale Rider in 2002. I did not write the plot by I was adapting he book Whale Rider written
by Witi Ihimaera. When I was directing the film I wanted to keep the traditional Maori culture as a
main feature of the film and also represent the changes to the culture through generational differences.
Today I will be talking to you about how I used filmic techniques to represent the strong sense of
Maori culture and to show the generational differences between the Maori elders and the modern
world. I will show the use of filmic techniques through two short film extracts from Whale Rider

clip.
When the children are performing, we can see how they have less respect for the culture by mucking

zooming in on Pai s face showing her in shock. I also added in a scene showing the community
laughing. This scene shows how the whole community isn t committed to their culture. Pai is the only
child who doesn t find this disrespect funny. This scene shows how Pai is fully committed to her
culture and the generational differences between the elders and the new generation. The new
generation in the film do care about their culture which is the complete opposite to the elder
generations who show full respect to their ancestors.
When Pai s father, Porourangi arrives, the mise en scene of their surroundings is important because it
connects them with their culture. Their surroundings include carvings and cultures of their ancestors

Sports Analytic Models
Winning is the main objective in team sports at any level. Most decisions that were made by coaches
and team executives were made from their own brain and gut. They made key decisions like what
system best fits the team, what players fit the system, and who to develop. Now, of course most, if not
all teams used basic stats like touchdowns, rebounds, assists, etc, but that is as far as they went to use
statistics to their advantage. This all changed when Billy Beane, one of the few to use sports analytics
on a professional level, appeared on the scene.
See, Sports Analytics is more than just numbers on a page. These complex numbers are digestible
enough for coaches, managers, and team scouts to earn a competitive advantage. Sports Analytics

This data management then feeds into information systems, which I will get into later, and more
importantly analytic models. These analytic models are used to gain a sense of what is going to
happen in the future. For example, if you gather how many points, rebounds, assists a basketball
player is averaging in the fourth quarter per year, you can see if he is a growing into a natural clutch
player ( signs of a franchise player) or is stagnant in the closing minutes of the last quarter (signs of a
role player or bench player). The more numbers you have the more these predictive models are
accurate. Billy Beane used very in depth numbers to propel the Athletics to the playoffs with one of
the lowest payrolls in 2002. The 2002 season was what we played you chronicled in the book,
Moneyball:The Art of Winning an Unfair Game by Michael Lewis. That same book was then turned
into a 2011 film starring Brad Pitt as Billy Beane. The film reveals the use of sports analytics to find

Migration In Canada
The composition of Canada s population today is very different than it was many decades ago. In
years prior to World War II Canada s ethnic homegenetity was made up of mostly the British and
French, although Canada was previously inhabited by Natives. However, people began a migration
process that saw increased movement of people from one place to another through the world. Canada,
being one of the classical migration countries began to pull immigrants at one period, then a push
occurred after the world war that saw emigration out of Canada. This was followed by another period
of pull factors that saw an expansion in the makeup of Canada s ethnic population. According to

the traditional critical path. CCPM is not merely a scheduling technique. The CCPM methodology
explicitly states that without the necessary changes in the scheduling rules will not only fail to achieve
improvement but may actually degrade performance.
Event chain methodology, a new way of scheduling is an uncertainty modeling and schedule network
analysis technique that is focused on identifying and managing events and event chains that affect

Event Chain Methodology Objectives:
1. Mitigate effect motivational and cognitive biases in estimating and scheduling. In many cases,
project managers intentionally or unintentionally create project schedules that are impossible to

Summary Of We Are All Bystanders Essay
Everyday humans are presented with new opportunities and situations. These events can change the
way they think and make decisions. But it s the way it can change ones relationships that can really
hurt one s ability to care. There is a total of 7.442 billion people alive today. Yet only a small portion
of that are people one truly cares about. For many people, a specific setting, situation or emotion can
alter the way people can think rationally.
Throughout life, one is to see many people they don t know Humans walk past each other and no
interaction occurs. Depending on a particular situation one might be in, it can change the ability to
react, help and care for a stranger in need. In the article We are all bystanders , by Jason Marsh and
Dacher Keltner, it shows how in certain settings people don t act to help another, even though one
might want to. Everyday Stuart would board the bus and a couple of boys would tease him. I would sit
silent and watch. I wish I would ve helped (Marsh/Keltner 3). People develop a feeling that prevents
them from caring for strangers. This is due to a thought of peer pressure or judgement that could be

The Effects Of Self Deception In Macbeth
Throughout Macbeth, things are never what they appear to be. Macbeth, similar to other works of
Shakespeare, is a story of pain and tragedy. At the start, King Duncan has a brave and loyal Thane
called Macbeth. After three witches prophesize that Macbeth is destined to become king himself,
Macbeth is overwhelmed with ambition and greed. Reinforced by the prophecy and his wife s
encouragement, he takes the throne by murdering King Duncan. Eventually, Macbeth s paranoia, and
guilt lead him to conduct multiple murders to maintain his power. His trust in the witches results in his
defeat and overthrow as he is murdered by those he has wronged. In this play Shakespeare uses
language, conflict, and the supernatural to illustrate deception and the effects of self deception.
Shakespeare s use of language in select scenes reveals Lady Macbeth s characters intentions. Lady
Macbeth is devious when it comes to persuading others, like her husband, into believing things that
are not true. This is shown through the lines, Your hand, your tongue. Look like th innocent flower,/
But be the serpent under t. (I.v. 56 57). This is spoken to Macbeth and shows how she is manipulating
him into something he is not by telling him he must act innocent but be corrupt on the inside. Lady
Macbeth later decides that she can use this manipulation to push her husband s ambition to be king.

Theory Of The Principle Agent Problem
In American politics, there are multiple examples of the phenomena known as the principle agent
problem. A principle agent problem is when a person (the principal) hires another person (the agent) to
perform a job that the principle cannot do themselves. However, the agent in these situations may go
against the wishes of the principle for their own benefit, making the whole exchange a risk for the
principle. In everyday life, an example of a principle agent problem is when a person hires a
mechanic. They hire a mechanic because they don t have the knowledge, or the ability, to do the job.
Unfortunately, the mechanic is aware of this, and may try to get more compensation by charging for
more than is actually required. In the American political system, a specific example of the principle
agent is the relationship between the heads of the Central Intelligence Agency and the agents they
employ.
In an arrangement between the Central Intelligence Agency and an agent that they wish to hire, the
CIA compensates the agent with the expectation that the agent will perform their required task, act
covertly, and protect the United States of America. However, the agent may defect by giving other
nations information that they deem is important, or acting in some other way that may compromise
our country, so that the defecting agent could receive some sort of compensation. Although defectors
are rather rare (as far as we know), when an agent does defect, it has serious consequences for

The PSA blood test is used by doctors to screen asymptomatic men for prostate cancer. A PSA above
4.0 ng/mL is generally considered to be elevated. Since prostate cancer increases the PSA level as the

When a factor other than prostate cancer causes the PSA level to raise the elevated PSA is called a

Treatment options for advanced prostate cancer may include hormone therapy, radiation therapy,

In the Nineteenth Century, many authors addressed those social forces in forms of novels. Among those authors were William Makepeace Thackeray and Thomas Hardy. Meanwhile, she figures that Matilda s fortune will eventually be in the possession of her favourite nephew, Rawdon. Thackeray examines Rebecca s character in the event of Sir Pitt s proposal while she was secretly married to his son, Rawdon. When she refused Sir Pitt, Thackeray described her refusal in a tone of regret as she considers Sir Pitt as a potential asset considering his wealth, age, and needs in comparison to Rawdon. The narrator describes Rebecca emotions as she gave away to some sincere and touching regrets that a piece of marvellous good fortune should have been so near her, and she actually obliged to decline it. (P. 138) Thackeray also mentions Sir Pitt s second wife, Lady Rawson, in an attempt to warn the reader of what may become of Becky Sharp. Lady Rawson gave up her previous relationship which was based on love to end up marrying Sir Pitt for his wealth and social standing. Although wealth was granted to her, her life lacked any sort of happiness or satisfaction. The narrator later describe Rose s life as her rose faded out of her cheeks, and the pretty freshness left her figure after the birth of a couple children, and she became a mere matching in her husband s house, of no more use than the late lady Crawley s grand piano. • 6. Going For The Look Kailey Jimenez English IV Mrs. Gilbert, Per 3 10 January, 2017 Going for the Look A considerable problem in today society is discrimination. Whether it s based upon race, age, sexuality, or even looks, discrimination is a serious dilemma. Marshal Cohen, a senior industry analyst with the NPD Group, believes that hiring people who are walking billboards is critical and essential to a company s success. The companies who hire based on looks, fail to realize that there are shoppers who do not care about the appearance of the store employees, just as long as they are receiving good customer service. People cannot completely control their appearance and brands like Abercrombie and Fitch, Hollister, and American Apparel should take notice to that. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... It is possible to create an enticing environment with friendly people who don t have outstanding looks. Today s society has shown that people aspire to be gorgeous and idolize the beautiful, but they relate more to people who look just like them. If someone were to walk into Hollister and see someone who looks like them rocking an outfit that they typically wouldn t wear, they are more likely to be inspired to try out the stores products. Stephen J. Roppolo, a New Orleans lawyer, tells employers that their focus needs to be hiring people who can get the job done because when companies want to hire to project a certain image, things can get screwy. I have seen some first hand examples of questionable hiring methods. Many of the stores in the mall near my home are excellent examples of hiring based on appearance over caliber. In numerous stores, I have noticed that the employees who work towards the front of the stores are usually Caucasian and outstandingly beautiful, and the employees towards the back of the stores tend to be of more latin descent. • 9. Hair Loss And Hair Thinning Hair loss and hair thinning can be a major issue for both men and women. Our hair serves as our crown every day, representing our style and personality. In women, hair care is very important since the old days. Maintaining good hair is now a growing trend in older women to avert negative image of aging. Hair is a beautiful part of human biology. Did you know that the human scalp has at least 100,000 hair follicles? The hair grows in an even rate by about half an inch per month or six inches each year. The hair grows from the root or bottom of the follicle, while the blood vessels nourish the root. Oil glands provide the necessary chemicals to keep the hair shiny and soft. Every food or medication you have taken recently may be reflected on your hair, the reason why chemical analysis of the human hair is used as a diagnostic tool. Hair loss does not automatically indicate a health problem. We lose about 50 to 100 hairs a day and that is perfectly normal. The indication of abnormal hair loss is when your hair falls out in clumps, visual signs of thinning, and exposure of large parts of your scalp. Some women can experience hair loss during menopause while men suffer from baldness due to genetics. There are other factors that can cause hair loss, such as diet, stress, and lifestyle habits. 1. Androgenetic alopecia is the most common type of hair loss caused by genetics. The condition can lead to baldness and hereditary thinning. About 80 million people in the United States, both men and women, suffer from this type of hair loss. 2. Certain medical conditions, such as diabetes and lupus, may contribute to hair loss. Alopecia areata or other autoimmune disorders cause the immune cells to attack your own hair, leading to hair thinning and hair loss. Diabetes slows down the process of hair growth and having the disease can make you vulnerable to alopecia areata. Thyroid disorders like hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism can also cause hair to fall out. 3. Insufficient nutrition can disrupt the hair growth cycle. Certain deficiencies affect the growth of hair cells, which slows down the cycle and results in unhealthy hair texture. According to a hair and scalp specialist Dr. Lisa Caddy, eating a healthy and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The first golden age of television occurred in the nineteen fifties and the gold was quite humble on the surface. Because the shows were about local police, cowboys and housewives. However, these wholesome programs acted like an awl, digging deep into the national psyche, bringing out something truly valuable and sought after by everyone. These shows exemplified the feelings of a nation and gave everyone a model to follow and a dream to chase. • 13. Analysis Of The Poem The Bay Of Naples When I was looking through 17th 18th century European artwork in the Norton Simon Museum, there was one piece of art that really stood out to me. That beautiful art piece was the Bay of Naples by Claude Joseph Vernet. This piece stood out to me because of the beautiful scenery that is displayed and the deep serenity the piece gives me when I look at it. The Bay of Naples is a painting of a landscape that captures the daily life of the bay. The materials used for this painting was oil on canvas. Claude Joseph Vernet made a painting that brings your attention to the foreground. In the front, there is a boat being boarded. Some of the people that are not boarding the boat are standing by the sea. In the sea, some boats are sailing off in the distance. One of the boats in the distance is a large boat that gives the illusion of being three dimensional. The form gives this illusion because of the reflection in the sea. If you look in the lower right, you can see the light from the sun illuminating the sky. This light is hidden behind a large mountain that also has a three dimensional form. There is also lots of texture in the painting. Some texture is seen in the mountains and ground giving a rough look, and some is seen in the sea in the form of ripples. On top of the mountain in the lower right, there is greenery that has an illusion of being light and feathery. In that mountain, there is an arch that makes the other side visible. • 16. Morality In The Lion King The Lion King: Simba s Journey Towards Sanity and Morality Walt Disney s The Lion King opens with a magnificent introduction to the forthcoming King of the Pride Lands, providing the audience with an impression of the intriguing journey that is on the verge of unfolding. As the story progresses, it becomes evident that Simba is in the midst of a quest. Such evidence is portrayed in the film through his possession of heroic qualities, such as courage, love, and perseverance. In addition, the process of undergoing trials, receiving aid, fighting enemies, and succeeding at attaining the treasure sought, contributes towards sanity and morality within him (Myth of a Quest: an Archetype). Therefore, in the film The Lion King, Simba s journey would be considered a quest for sanity and morality since throughout the film the main character deals with a darker evil side, comes to terms with some kind of personal integration and reaches a self understanding. In the beginning of the narrative, a portrayal of various characters and their relationships with Simba demonstrates their contribution towards Simba s ability to comprehend the existence of a darker, evil side. First, the jealousy emanated by the antagonist, Scar, towards the position that Mufasa upholds in the kingdom, provides an insight to the evil Simba faces. Consequently, as a young child, Simba understands the difference between good and evil through the juxtaposition manifested in the behaviour of both his father and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Gangsters are running rampant from Al Capone to Bugs Moran to Machine Gun Kelly. This is the world in which Agnes Bobbie Storey finds herself. Agnes family lived in Leaholme until the war nearly closed their inn, forcing them to find work in London. Shortly afterward, her father dies of Spanish Influenza, and Agnes is forced to find a job to help support her family. She manages to land a job at a restaurant belonging to a friend of her father. It is here that she wins The Most Beautiful Barmaid in London contest. This sparks Andre Charlot to offer her a spot in his revue that is traveling to Broadway. She immediately accepts, thus beginning her love affair with fame, success, and New York City. A Broadway Dream by Jane Hill is a fiction based on the historical person by the name of Bobbie Storey. Amazon has this correctly classified as historical fiction or biographical fiction; however, it was incorrectly classified as romance on OBC. The book is fairly short with only about 200 pages. Classical Psychedelics And Dissociative Drugs As we know, hallucinogens are a type of drug that specialize in distorting the way a user perceives time, motion, colors, sounds, and self, or simply, causing psychological consequences onto their victims (Volkow 2015). However, the Foundation for a Drug Free World (FDFW) prefers to link the term hallucinations , or psychological experiences in seeing images, hearing sounds and feeling sensations that seem very real but do not exist, to hallucinogens as a better and summarized definition replacement (2016). • 33. The Effects Of Self Deception In Macbeth Throughout Macbeth, things are never what they appear to be. Macbeth, similar to other works of Shakespeare, is a story of pain and tragedy. At the start, King Duncan has a brave and loyal Thane called Macbeth. After three witches prophesize that Macbeth is destined to become king himself, Macbeth is overwhelmed with ambition and greed. Reinforced by the prophecy and his wife s encouragement, he takes the throne by murdering King Duncan. Eventually, Macbeth s paranoia, and guilt lead him to conduct multiple murders to maintain his power. His trust in the witches results in his defeat and overthrow as he is murdered by those he has wronged. In this play Shakespeare uses language, conflict, and the supernatural to illustrate deception and the effects of self deception. Shakespeare s use of language in select scenes reveals Lady Macbeth s characters intentions. • 34. Theory Of The Principle Agent Problem In American politics, there are multiple examples of the phenomena known as the principle agent problem. A principle agent problem is when a person (the principal) hires another person (the agent) to perform a job that the principle cannot do themselves. However, the agent in these situations may go against the wishes of the principle for their own benefit, making the whole exchange a risk for the principle. In everyday life, an example of a principle agent problem is when a person hires a mechanic. They hire a mechanic because they don t have the knowledge, or the ability, to do the job. Unfortunately, the mechanic is aware of this, and may try to get more compensation by charging for more than is actually required. In the American political system, a specific example of the principle agent is the relationship between the heads of the Central Intelligence Agency and the agents they employ. In an arrangement between the Central Intelligence Agency and an agent that they wish to hire, the CIA compensates the agent with the expectation that the agent will perform their required task, act covertly, and protect the United States of America. However, the agent may defect by giving other nations information that they deem is important, or acting in some other way that may compromise our country, so that the defecting agent could receive some sort of compensation. Although defectors are rather rare (as far as we know), when an agent does defect, it has serious consequences for ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
