This document provides information on different types of sinus dysrhythmias: - Sinus dysrhythmias are ECG rhythms that differ from normal sinus rhythm (NSR), which has a rate of 60-100 BPM. - Sinus bradycardia and sinus tachycardia have the characteristics of NSR but with heart rates slower than 60 BPM or faster than 100 BPM respectively. - Sinus dysrhythmia has the same characteristics as NSR but with a patterned irregularity of slowing and speeding up corresponding to respiration. Sinus arrest causes pauses in the ECG rhythm until another pacemaker site resumes the rhythm.
