Presentation on Electric Vehicle By Vivek Atalkar.
An electric vehicle, or EV, is a type of vehicle that uses electricity as its main source of power instead of traditional fuels like gasoline or diesel. EVs are powered by electric motors that run on rechargeable batteries, which can be charged by plugging the vehicle into an electrical outlet or charging station.
There are two types of electric vehicles: battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs). BEVs are fully electric vehicles that run entirely on battery power and have no backup gasoline engine. PHEVs have both an electric motor and a gasoline engine, and can run on either electricity or gasoline.
Electric vehicles offer several benefits over traditional gasoline-powered vehicles. They produce zero tailpipe emissions, which means they don't contribute to air pollution. They also tend to be more energy-efficient and cost less to operate over the long-term. Additionally, electric vehicles are generally quieter and provide smoother acceleration compared to gasoline-powered vehicles.
One of the main challenges of electric vehicles is their limited range compared to gasoline-powered vehicles, although this is improving as battery technology advances. Another challenge is the availability of charging infrastructure, which is still developing in many parts of the world.
Overall, electric vehicles are an important part of the transition to a more sustainable and environmentally-friendly transportation system.
Process of converting solar thermal energy (heat) into conditioned air.
Eco-friendly as well as Energy-efficient.
Can be operated with green resources of heat as backup resources when solar radiation is unavailable

Every electrical system needs power as the supply. Power is rated at each and amount of energy is used to accomplish the work. Electrical power is measured in kwhr which is determine by V*I. In the industries high power consumption than the contracted one can lead to severe penalties. Often there are power peak produce by the load co incidence that normally do not work in simultaneously. As we have several benefits for Electric Vehicles when compared to Gas Vehicles. Here in this informative essay on electric vehicles, we are giving complete details about them.
Electric Vehicles are means of transport that consume eclectic energy as fuel instead of traditional fuels such as petrol, diesel, and CNG. These vehicles may be powered through a collector system by electricity from off-vehicle sources or maybe inbuilt with a battery, solar panels, fuel cells, or an electric generator to convert fuel to electricity. Electric bikes, electric cars, electric rickshaws, etc are some examples.

Performance Improvement of Solar PV Cells using Various Cooling Methods: A Re...rahulmonikasharma
the operating surface is a key operational factor to take into consideration to achieve higher efficiency when operating solar photovoltaic system. Proper cooling can improve the electric efficiency and decrease the rate of cell degradation with time, resulting in maximization of the life span of photovoltaic modules. The excessive heat removed by the cooling system used in domestic, commercial or industrial applications. Various cooling methods available for PV cells Such as Active and Passive cooling system. In this paper use various cooling methods for PV panel. Just like it heat pipe, floating, PCM used in back side of PV panel, evaporative cooling for PV panel.
It is possible to consider that adsorption systems can be alternative to reduce the CO2 emissions and electricity demand when they driven by waste heat or solar energy. Although, for a broader utilization the researches should continue aiming for improvements in heat transfer, reductions of new adsorbent compounds with enhanced adsorption capacity and improved heat and mass transfer properties.
Steady State Thermal Analysis of Thermo Siphon Heat Pipe Photovoltaic Panel C...IJMTST Journal
Photovoltaic panels are designed to produce optimum power output only below a particular temperature which is called the nominal operating cell temperature. Higher operating temperatures of the photovoltaic panels have an adverse impact on the power output and efficiency. This is because of the predominant increase in the resistance to the current generated inside the photovoltaic cells which results in reduction of the power output. Temperature rise of photovoltaic panels due to high solar radiation intensity and ambient temperature is the problem discussed in this paper. Among various methods currently suggested and tested by researchers worldwide, thermo siphon heat pipe cooling mechanism is a feasible and low cost option. This method can be applied to both concentrating and non concentrating photovoltaic panels. The mechanism used for implementing this method of cooling is described. The effect of cooling on the panel temperature and the consequent rise in the power output and the efficiency of the photovoltaic panel is analyzed with the help of a simulation using ANSYS steady state thermal package. The results of using different phase change temperatures in the thermo siphon cooling mechanism are analyzed.
Solid cooling and heating with help of peltier plate by using solar energy with the help of a micro controller. The cop of this refrigeration effect is always less than 1 because we in intake low grade thermal energy.

2. INTRODUCTION
Solar energy is a well organized and most used renewable
power source which harnesses power from the radiations of
the Sun with the help of a solar cell.
The efficiency of PV panels in certain
conditions is the most efficient around 25°C
surface temperature.
Hence, it becomes a necessity to control the working
temperature range by the effective cooling of PV panel
5. Active Cooling
The active cooling technique is considered an effective way to
improve the photovoltaic performance.
It depends on an external power source.
The external power is deducted from the power produced
from the PV cells.
Reducing the net output power produced from the PV
cells.
6. Types of Active Cooling
There are 3 types of Active cooling techniques and they are as
follows :
Forced air/water Cooling
Nanofluid cooling
Refrigerant cooling
7. Forced air/water cooling
The cooling agent, i.e., water or air, is circulated around the PV
panels for cooling the solar cells.
The cooling agent is forcefully cooled by a fan.
It is the simplest and cost effective cooling technique.
Efficiency can be improved by 30 percentage by using this
type of cooling technique.
8.
9. Nanofluid Cooling
Nanofluid cooling is one of the potential cooling techniques for
lowering the temperature of the PV module.
Nanofluids are used to bring down the temperature of the panel by
increasing the thermal conductivity of base fluids.
Commonly used nano fluids are Al2O3 , TiO2, ZnO in deionized water,
MgO/water (0.1,0.2,0.6% wt.), Polypyrrole,
Al2O3/water,
Al2O3, CuO with water and Ethylene Glycol
10. This technique can increase
30-45 percentage efficiency.
High cost of Nanoparticle
suspension.
11. Refrigerant Cooling
Refrigerant is a chemical that produces a cooling effect while
expanding or vaporizing.
It is one of the commonly used method for cooling, and widely used
for cooling.
Commonly used and most efficient Refrigerant is Ammonia.
It needs external power at the beginning of the cooling cycle
and its a disadvantage .
12.
13. Passive Cooling
Passive cooling requires no special power to cool Photo voltaic
cells.
Passive cooling technologies are considered to be effective in
reducing the temperature of P.V. cells
They are relatively easy and cost-effective to produce.
14. Types of Passive Cooling
Passive Cooling are natural type of cooling and they are mainly
classified in two types as follows :
Natural air/water Cooling
PCM cooling
15. Natural air/water cooling
In natural air/water cooling techniques any kind of power input is
not needed and mainly it works with mechanical and thermal
properties.
In natural water cooling techniques domestic running of water and
concentrated Photovoltaic systems using water is used
In natural water cooling, cooling completely depends on the natural
mass flow rate and geographic location where the PV panel is kept.
16.
17. PCM cooling
A phase change material(PCM) is a substance which releases/absorbs
sufficient energy at phase transition to provide useful heat or cooling.
Comparing a PV-only system to a PV system incorporating a PCM,
with thermophysical properties suitable to the PVs heat rejection,
an increase of the PV’s output by 9%.
Most commonly used PCMs are Paraffin Waxes, Non-Paraffin
Organics, Hydrated Salts, and Metallics.
