11. Final steps for Volunteer Onboarding
▪ If Candidate has not attended the welcome orientation session
after two weeks, send a follow up email (First Reminder Email for
Volunteer Welcome Session) reminding Candidate to register,
“First Reminder Email Sent” checkbox is automatically checked
and “First Reminder Email Sent On” field is automatically
populated with the same date email is sent.
▪ If Candidate has not registered for a welcome orientation session
after three weeks, send a follow up email (Second Reminder Email
for Volunteer Welcome Session) reminding Volunteer to attend
orientation session, “Second Reminder Email Sent” checkbox is
automatically checked and “Second Reminder Email Sent On”
field is automatically populated with the same date email is sent.

– If someone opts out from an email campaign in MailChimp Email Opt Out
checkbox will be automatically checked. This was done through adding a Visual
Force component and field and then running a workflow through Process Builder.
