scoped down to schools or sections as required.
• To begin the sync with Clever it is essential to identify correct owner of Clever sync to
ensure smooth experience for your users.
Guidelines for determining who should manage Clever account:
• Examples of individuals with sufficient access to manage/set up a Clever account:
– Chief Technology Officer/Chief Information Officer
– IT Director
– SIS Manager
– Database Administrator
– Director of Applications
– Other district IT administrators
• Examples of individuals with limited SIS access who cannot manage/set up a Clever
account:
– teacher
– academic coach
– principal

To begin provisioning teacher and student accounts in [CUSTOMER APP], you’ll start by setting up an account with our partner Clever.
Clever makes the data import process easy and secure for schools -- you can learn more by visiting the Clever Help Center.
Getting started is simple!
1. Go to [CUSTOMER SIGNUP LINK]
2. Fill in district and contact information
3. Decide how students and teachers will log into their apps
4. Choose how to sync your data and complete your signup
• Clever offers two ways to sync your data: Automatic Syncs or SFTP

Guidelines for determining who should manage Clever account: • Examples of individuals with sufficient access to manage/set up a Clever account: – Chief Technology Officer/Chief Information Officer – IT Director – SIS Manager – Database Administrator – Director of Applications – Other district IT administrators • Examples of individuals with limited SIS access who cannot manage/set up a Clever account: – teacher – academic coach – principal Connect with SIS Manager
