population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.

like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.

cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,

- 4. 40 Lesson Development Step 1 (10 minutes) 9.25 am – 9.35 am Measuring from the example. Pupils will be watching a video about the correct way to take measurement of length. Pupils will listen to the teacher explanation about the correct way to take a measurement like the video explained earlier by using giant ruler. Pupils will be asked to take out their exercise book or any measurable object and a ruler then measure it just like the video does. Pupils who did not record the correct measurement will be guided by teacher. Activities of student centered Classify between measurable and non-measurable object. Pupils will be given few objects. Pupils must classify between measurable and non-measurable object. Pupils must show which object that can be measured. Student measure the measurable length objects. Lesson Development Step 3 (10 minutes) 9.45 am – 9.55 am Comparing length of two objects Pupils will measure two different things in different length and records the readings. Pupils will compare the length and tell which one is longer. Pupils will see the slide show of two different lengths of trees. Pupils will determine which one is longer.
