Disaster does not come with prior notice. The term ‘Disaster’ is widely used to refer to as any incident, manmade accident, or natural occurrence that could affect the functioning of the project. We do not assess the impact of upcoming disaster. There are two type of disaster Natural and Manmade disaster. Disasters have resentfully affected not only humans but also animals. Disaster causes mass casualty of construction and loss of economy. It impacts on the economy of the country. In the last decade, natural disasters claimed 79,000 lives each year and affected more than 200 million people, with casualties amounting to almost US $ 70 billion per year. Disaster also affected the climate, and hence adversely affecting local or regional climate. Manmade disaster causes through any big accident that occurs indoor or outdoor.

“The only possible benefit of NOT planning is that disasters will come as a complete surprise and will, therefore, not be preceded by long periods of paranoia and depression!”
Vulnerability is the degree to which a population, individual or organization is unable to anticipate, cope with, resist and recover from the impacts of disasters.
Environmental health in emergencies and disasters: a practical guide. (WHO, 2002)
Children, pregnant women, elderly people, malnourished people, and people who are ill or immune compromised, are particularly vulnerable when a disaster strikes, and take a relatively high share of the disease burden associated with emergencies. Poverty – and its common consequences such as malnutrition, homelessness, poor housing and destitution – is a major contributor to vulnerability.

This Presentation is based on our Research in area of EQ Prediction studies carried out in Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar under Punjab Govt. sponsored Earthquake Research Center and DST Projects of Govt. of India. Our Radon/ Helium Precursory data set up bench marks for future investigations in India. Some of the Pictures at the end represent participation of my friend, Dr Thomas Streil from Germany, in Conferences in India & abroad.
Disaster is also sometimes described as a “catastrophic situation in which the normal pattern of life or eco-system has been disrupted and extraordinary emergency interventions are required to save and preserve lives and or the environment”.

Needs for Disaster Risks Reduction Education in Nigeriaiosrjce
This paper reviews disaster risk reduction and the need to involve disaster education in educational institutions
curriculum for sustainable quality education. Disaster encompass serious disruption of the functioning of society causing
wide spread human, material, economic, or environmental losses which exceeds the ability of the affected community to
cope, using its own resources. Rising concern on disaster risks in all countries is evidenced in the number of major disasters
and the amount of losses sustained there-from have been on the increase. Framework of Action (HFA) stresses the “use of
knowledge, innovation and education to build a culture of safety and resilience.” This paper advocates turning human
knowledge into local action to reduce disaster risks. The basic principles should outline the general objectives and scope of
disaster risks reduction at schools and educational materials to teach all stages of disaster risks reduction through quality
education.

effective disaster management by efficient usage of resourcesINFOGAIN PUBLICATION
Disaster Management can be merely defined as the organization and management of resources and responsibilities for dealing with all humanitarian aspects of crises, in specific preparedness, rejoinder and recapture in order to diminish the influence of disasters. But the affects of the disaster increases only when the information about the disaster is unknown and when the resources for the disaster management is not correctly used. Now there are several methods for forecast the disaster, But there are no any effective methods for handling the resources needed for both managing the disaster and also for rehabilitation purpose. Thus this paper proposes an application used for managing the disaster and handling the rehabilitation process. This application which deals with almost all the resources those are required for the management of disaster. This proposed application which is based on java programming language. This project also has a great scope of enhancement in future.
The Learner is introduced to the following terms in this unit.
Hazard * Vulnerability *Risk * Disasters *Disaster management
* Early Warning System * Preparedness * Response * Relief
* Recovery * Mitigation & DRR * Coping & Resilience

Online aptitude test management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
The purpose of on-line aptitude test system is to take online test in an efficient manner and no time wasting for checking the paper. The main objective of on-line aptitude test system is to efficiently evaluate the candidate thoroughly through a fully automated system that not only saves lot of time but also gives fast results. For students they give papers according to their convenience and time and there is no need of using extra thing like paper, pen etc. This can be used in educational institutions as well as in corporate world. Can be used anywhere any time as it is a web based application (user Location doesn’t matter). No restriction that examiner has to be present when the candidate takes the test.
Every time when lecturers/professors need to conduct examinations they have to sit down think about the questions and then create a whole new set of questions for each and every exam. In some cases the professor may want to give an open book online exam that is the student can take the exam any time anywhere, but the student might have to answer the questions in a limited time period. The professor may want to change the sequence of questions for every student. The problem that a student has is whenever a date for the exam is declared the student has to take it and there is no way he can take it at some other time. This project will create an interface for the examiner to create and store questions in a repository. It will also create an interface for the student to take examinations at his convenience and the questions and/or exams may be timed. Thereby creating an application which can be used by examiners and examinee’s simultaneously.
Examination System is very useful for Teachers/Professors. As in the teaching profession, you are responsible for writing question papers. In the conventional method, you write the question paper on paper, keep question papers separate from answers and all this information you have to keep in a locker to avoid unauthorized access. Using the Examination System you can create a question paper and everything will be written to a single exam file in encrypted format. You can set the General and Administrator password to avoid unauthorized access to your question paper. Every time you start the examination, the program shuffles all the questions and selects them randomly from the database, which reduces the chances of memorizing the questions.
A review on techniques and modelling methodologies used for checking electrom...nooriasukmaningtyas
The proper function of the integrated circuit (IC) in an inhibiting electromagnetic environment has always been a serious concern throughout the decades of revolution in the world of electronics, from disjunct devices to today’s integrated circuit technology, where billions of transistors are combined on a single chip. The automotive industry and smart vehicles in particular, are confronting design issues such as being prone to electromagnetic interference (EMI). Electronic control devices calculate incorrect outputs because of EMI and sensors give misleading values which can prove fatal in case of automotives. In this paper, the authors have non exhaustively tried to review research work concerned with the investigation of EMI in ICs and prediction of this EMI using various modelling methodologies and measurement setups.
HEAP SORT ILLUSTRATED WITH HEAPIFY, BUILD HEAP FOR DYNAMIC ARRAYS.
Heap sort is a comparison-based sorting technique based on Binary Heap data structure. It is similar to the selection sort where we first find the minimum element and place the minimum element at the beginning. Repeat the same process for the remaining elements.

Harnessing WebAssembly for Real-time Stateless Streaming PipelinesChristina Lin
Traditionally, dealing with real-time data pipelines has involved significant overhead, even for straightforward tasks like data transformation or masking. However, in this talk, we’ll venture into the dynamic realm of WebAssembly (WASM) and discover how it can revolutionize the creation of stateless streaming pipelines within a Kafka (Redpanda) broker. These pipelines are adept at managing low-latency, high-data-volume scenarios.
Water billing management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Our project entitled “Water Billing Management System” aims is to generate Water bill with all the charges and penalty. Manual system that is employed is extremely laborious and quite inadequate. It only makes the process more difficult and hard.
The aim of our project is to develop a system that is meant to partially computerize the work performed in the Water Board like generating monthly Water bill, record of consuming unit of water, store record of the customer and previous unpaid record.
We used HTML/PHP as front end and MYSQL as back end for developing our project. HTML is primarily a visual design environment. We can create a android application by designing the form and that make up the user interface. Adding android application code to the form and the objects such as buttons and text boxes on them and adding any required support code in additional modular.
