1. AIR COMPRESSED NETWORK DESCRIPTION
1.- GENERAL DESCRPTION:
The Air Compressed Network of the U-Beam & Slabs Factory must to supply
the Air Compressed necessities for the different machines.
The Air Compressed is produced by 1 Air Compressor, Screw type, 10 m3/min.
capacity, 55 Kw. Power. The air compressed supply is not a critical factor to concrete
casting, by that, only 1 unit of compressor will be enough.
The Air Compressed requirements has been estimated as follows:
Internal concrete vibrators , maximum 3 units simultaneously, 1.200 lit/min.
consumption each unit at 6 bar pressure.
Cleaning works of the moulds; 3 supply points with flexible hoses ½ “ y
consumption of 1.500 lit/min. each at 6 bar pressure.
The total maximum consumption expected will be 8.100 lit/min. at 6 bar
pressure.
2.- SUPPLY SPECIFICATIONS:
2.1.- AIR COMPRESSEDPRODUCTION:
- 1 Air compressors, screw type with oil, soundproof at maximum
level 72 dB(A), 55 Kw. electric motor power, 400 Volt and 60 Hz.,
air supply of 10,50 m3/min. at 8 bar.
- 1 Units air filter , installed in the compressors exit to eliminate
solid materials.
- 1 Cooler-dryers, with the same capacity of the Air Compressors.

2. - 1 Units air filter , installed after cooler-dryers to eliminate residual
water, oil, etc…in the compressors exit to eliminate solid
materials.
- 1 Air Compressed tank, vertical type, 3.000 lit. capacity, setted at
10 bar, automatic purging device.
- Regulation control system to operate the compressor.
- Electric power and control cabinet.
- Electric assembling of air compressor. To connect it it´s provided
a hand-operated switch on-off 4 x 250 Amp.
2.2.- AIR COMPRESSED DISTRIBUTION LINES:
The main Air Compressed pipe from the Tank to distribution manifold is a 4”
diameter steel stretched pipe without weldings , unions by plate flanges every 12
mts.,DIN 2440 black PN 10, . Approximate length 40 mts. plus elbows, etc…This pipe
will be supported by brackets welded to pillars and also welded to panel walls beams.
The individual Air Com pressed distribution pipes from the manifold will be
installed along of the pillar rows ( 2 lateral rows and central row ) to both U-Beam &
Slab lines, are 3” diameter steel stretched pipe without weldings, unions by plate
flanges every 12 mts.,DIN 2440 black, PN 10. This pipe will be supported by brackets
welded to pillars and also welded to panel walls beams. Approximate length of the 3
lines will be 400 mts.
The distribution pipes must be installed with a slope of 0,5% in order to drive the
water at the purging points.
Along of theses distribution pipes and every 30 mts. will be installed several air
compressed supply points.
Every air compressed supply point must incorporate pressure regulator, gauge
and lubricator. The exit connection will be “ Quick connect Swivel plug of 1”. The supply
points must be used to drainage of the water air content.

3. 3.- DRAWINGS:
Attached you will find a hand-made schema of the Air Compressed Network. In
the offer it must be included the drawing of the proposal installation.
4.- REVISION:
The calculations related in this document must be inspected and corrected if
necessary.
5.- ASSEMBLING AND SETTING UP:
All the elements related before, must be assembled in our factory; also, the
steam network must be started up.
In the offer must be indicated the required materials or other services
necessaries to make the Setting Up.
6.- NORMATIVE:
The Air Compressor and his accesories must be accomplish all the Safety
Standards required in the Saudi Arabian Kingdom for the Air Compressed Equipment.
7.- DELIVERY TIME AND CONDITIONS:
In the offer must be indicated the Delivery Time for the Equipment and other
elements required , specifying the estimated period to Manufacturing, Transport and
Assembly.
As well, in the offer must be indicated the considered means to supply by the
client ( auxiliary cranes, lifting machines, etc…) regarding to the Assembly and Setting
Up of the cranes.
8.- AIR COMPRESSED AND EQUIPMENT DOCUMENTS:
Together with the Air Compressor Network will be delivered the next
documents in English Language.

4. - Official Approval Certificate Pressure Regulation.
- Electrical Wiring Diagram ( 2 copies ).
- Manufacturer Manual Compressor, Dryer and Filters( 2 copies).
- User Manual ( 2 copies ).
9.- WARRANTY:
Two years ( estimated period to manufacture all the Beams&Slabs ); the
warranty have to covered against all manufacturing mistakes, materials bad quality or
unsuitable assembly.
As well , must be included all the Maintenance Services required by the Air
Compressor, Dryer and Filters along the referred period ( 2 years ).
