PERSON
In the community, we can
find people who have special
knowledge and skills. They are
called resource persons who
can provide resources in the
form of ideas that can be shared
to students.
Among the people who can
potential resource person are:
 Policemen
 Health officers
 Priests
 Barangay officials
 Businessmen
 Parents, and also Teachers.
Because resource person are the people
who are the source of information.
Businessmen
Advantage
Resource person can explain topics
more accurately and interestingly than
the classroom teacher.
Health Officer
Limitation
Availability of the resource person could
be a problem
Utilization Guidelines
1. Contact the resSource person ahead of time.
2. The teacher should provide the guest the
following information:
A. The objectives and expectation of his or her
visit
B. Information that the students already know and
which they are curious about
C. classroom management routines
D. Plans for related teaching and learning
experiences
3. The teacher should see to it that
A. Students are prepared to listen to the talk.
Pupils should know what to expect from the
speaker and what to ask during the open
forum.
B. Students are reminded to be courteous,
respectful and warm to the resource person.
C. The large portion of the time allotted to the
resource person be devoted for discussion
4. A thank you letter or a token can be given to
the resource person to appreciate his/her help.
5. Design an alternative plan for any failure of
communications or last minute cancellations.

_Resources-person

  • 2. In the community, we can find people who have special knowledge and skills. They are called resource persons who can provide resources in the form of ideas that can be shared to students.
  • 3. Among the people who can potential resource person are:  Policemen  Health officers  Priests  Barangay officials  Businessmen  Parents, and also Teachers. Because resource person are the people who are the source of information.
  • 5. Advantage Resource person can explain topics more accurately and interestingly than the classroom teacher.
  • 7. Limitation Availability of the resource person could be a problem
  • 8. Utilization Guidelines 1. Contact the resSource person ahead of time. 2. The teacher should provide the guest the following information: A. The objectives and expectation of his or her visit B. Information that the students already know and which they are curious about C. classroom management routines D. Plans for related teaching and learning experiences
  • 9. 3. The teacher should see to it that A. Students are prepared to listen to the talk. Pupils should know what to expect from the speaker and what to ask during the open forum. B. Students are reminded to be courteous, respectful and warm to the resource person. C. The large portion of the time allotted to the resource person be devoted for discussion
  • 10. 4. A thank you letter or a token can be given to the resource person to appreciate his/her help. 5. Design an alternative plan for any failure of communications or last minute cancellations.
