Resources and equipment
 Final cut- This is the editing softwarethat I intend
to use this year. The reason for using this
softwareis that it is the program that I used last
year as well as doing moreresearch of at the start
of this year, so I believe I have better knowledgeof this program than
any other I could use and still get good quality.
 Paint.net- Is the softwarethat I wantto useto create my ancillary tasks.
The reason why I have chosen this softwareI becauseit will enable me
to both edit my photos as well as add thing fonts to create my magazine
cover and poster.
 Da fonts- Within all the products that I am going to create for my A level
I am intending to useDa fonts to create the titles. The reason why I have
chosen this programis because I used it to create the fonts for last
year’s productand it was simple to use and created good results.
 Camera- The camera that I intend to use in order to film my main
productis the Nikon D3200 thereason why I
have chosen to use this camera is that I can use
it to take photos for the images on my ancillary
tasks as well as filming my main tasks therefore
limiting the amount of equipment I will need to
create my product. I also used this camera
because it creates good quality footage thereforehelping my piece
looking moreprofessional.
 Garageband- I also intend to use garageband to create the soundtrack
to my trailer. The reason why I am going
to use this softwareis because it
enables me to useclips of music from
websites such as free sound to create
my own soundtrack thatfits to my film
trailer and creates the effects I want it
too.
 Tripod- I will also use a tripod when creating my trailer because it will
help me create a range of steady shots without the camera needing to
be hand held.
 Voice recorder- I also am going to use a voice recorder when creating my
final productbecause I am intending using dialogue within my trailer and
believe that this may be the mosteffective way to add it to the trailer.
