How did you use new media technologies in the
construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?

2. HD Video Camera; this allowed me to record all of the footage in which I would
want to place within my trailer at a good standard. By being able to use this
quality of the footage that I will be using will look as professional as possible.

3. 55mm lens camera; this is what I used when wanting to take the pictures
when wanting to take the basic pictures that would be used for both my
magazine and film poster.

4. Photoshop, this is the software in which I had used when wanting to create
both my film and magazine poster. By using this it has allowed to create a
number of effects upon the images which I have taken in order to improve, for
instance when creating the poster for my film in order to make the setting
become more apart to the audience because it was dark I enhanced the
colours of the leaves and the grass on the floor so that audience are instantly
able to establish where it is set. When creating my magazine poster on the
other hand I made sure that when wanting to create the scary image of ‘the
shadow’ I darkened the image of my protagonist and slightly blurred it in order
to make the overall effect of the magazine come across scarier as a way of
trying to comply to the horror convention.

5. Final cut pro; when wanting to edit my trailer I decided to use final cut
pro. By using this software it has allowed to create a number of different
effects on the footage in which I would be using within my trailer such
as adding transitions, slowing it down and adding blurred effects. The
purpose of wanting to add all of these different features is so that I am
able to make my trailer come across as scary as possible, as well as
wanting to make sure all of the footage in which I will be using is able to
run smoothly together so that it is able to look like an official trailer.

6. Prezi; during the evaluation stages I used a number of different software such as
prezi when wanting to present all of the final information in which I had received
about my project. Another thing in which I had used was slide share which is
another visual way in which I could present this
