Relevant Essay Topics
Writing an essay on the topic of "Relevant Essay Topics" can be quite challenging for several
reasons. Firstly, the subject itself is broad and abstract, making it somewhat elusive to define and
structure. The term "relevant essay topics" implies a level of subjectivity, as what is considered
relevant can vary based on individual perspectives, societal trends, and academic disciplines.
To begin with, one must grapple with the ambiguity surrounding the term "relevant" and
decipher its implications in the context of essay topics. This requires a thorough exploration of
current events, academic discourse, and cultural nuances to identify what is deemed pertinent in
a given time and space.
Moreover, the task becomes more intricate as the essay should not only address the notion of
relevance but also provide insightful analysis and commentary on specific essay topics falling
under this umbrella. Choosing the right examples and crafting compelling arguments to support
the relevance of these topics adds another layer of complexity.
Furthermore, the writer must navigate the challenge of striking a balance between personal
opinions and objective analysis. The subjectivity of relevance often invites the temptation to
inject personal biases into the essay, which may compromise its credibility. Achieving a
harmonious blend of objectivity and personal insight is crucial for a well-rounded and persuasive
essay.
In addition, the ever-evolving nature of societal and academic discourse means that what is
relevant today may not be as significant tomorrow. Staying abreast of current trends, emerging
issues, and shifting perspectives becomes imperative to ensure the essay remains timely and
impactful.
In conclusion, tackling an essay on "Relevant Essay Topics" requires a keen understanding of the
term's nuances, adept analytical skills, and a commitment to staying current with the dynamic
landscape of ideas. It demands a delicate balance between objectivity and personal insight,
making the writing process a challenging yet intellectually stimulating endeavor.

Episodic Memory Recall
Introduction: According to Levels of Processing framework, developed by Craik and
Lockhart (1972), the duration that a memory is held, is determined by the level at
which the information is encoded. Episodic memory recall is a cognitive process
involved in consolidating the information presented. The depth of processing
occurring during the encoding of a memory, relates to, how well information is
recalled later. To clarify, information that we process semantically (i.e., by its
meaning) comprises a deeper level of processing than information we process
structurally (i.e., appearance). Thus predicting, the deeper an individual processes
information, correlates with the duration a memory trace will last. Consequently,
memory is a by product... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, this recent study identifies the depth to which information is encoded also
depends on the time spent on cognitively thinking about the information. Semantic
questions, as a result of deep processing do require more cognitive work to be done
than a structural or phonemic question. However, the ambiguity of the definition of
deep is dismantled through this study, due to the use of requiring double the
questions for structural and phonemic words. By doing so, we are evening out the
amount of cognitive capacity required to think about the word while still only using
one level of analysis. Therefore, the subject is now processing for about the same
duration of time for all three levels of
The Glass Ceiling and the Wage Gap Essay
Women face many obstacles as they climb their career s hierarchy and for many
different reasons their wage is comparably less than that of males. After the
movements toward equality in the workplace, many think that sex discrimination isn
t present anymore. However, many still believe that the glass ceiling hasn t shattered
and still possesses a barrier for many women in the labor force. The glass ceilingand
the wage gap exist for various reasons but, like many other women leaders, women
can break the glass and abolish the gap.

In the law field, women attorneys earn 80.5 cents for every dollar earned by their
male counterparts. In the medical field, female physicians and surgeons earn 64.4

male counterparts. Females in full time managerial positions earn 81 cents for
every dollar earned by their male manager peers and female truck drivers earn...

Equality for both sexes is still somewhat elusive at home (146). In the United States,

The Current Situation of Real Estate Market
Real estate industry is volatility and many changes in recent years. In fact, it was
booming in 2007 up to the beginning of 2008 because of the tremendous capital
inflow from foreign countries about US$21 billion and US$57.2 billion
respectively after joining the WTO and the deregulation land law of the
government (S.N. JEHAN, Thanh Nga LUONG, 2012). In additional, people used
money that they gained from the stock market to invest and contributed to the rise
of property prices. In this year, properties price soared from 70 to 200% of the level
before 2007 (Annual report 2008, 2008). However, the property market went down in

LAW OF BUSNESS ASSOSIATIONS
This essay will discuss obligatory elements in implementing the breach of Section
184 of the Corporations Act 2001 by Mr Clive Palmer. Corporation law is a wide
concept of law which comprise of all the legal issues related to Business
organisations. With the help of reference to relevant case law this essay will argue
that Mr Palmer breached section 184 of the Corporation Act 2001 by not acting in
good faith, improper use of position and information and intentional bad business
judgements. This essay will provide sufficient evidence that Mr Palmer should be
examined by ASIC, hence agreeing with the voluntary administrator.

In order to prove the breach of section 184, the following rules and duties must
have been violated. A director commits an offence if they are reckless or
intentionally dishonest, and fail to exercise their powers and discharge their
duties in good faith in the best interests of the corporation or for a proper purpose
.As mentioned earlier Mr Palmer was reckless in decision making by waving loans
and using the company assets for private benefits and the company suffered had to

Inhumane Living Conditions Of Broiler Chickens
Purpose Statement
The purpose of this paper is to explain the cruel inhuman way broiler chickens are
treated. We will explore living conditions, Health issues, and diets. We also show the
measures that need to be done to stop the mistreatment of these animals.
Living conditions
Broiler chickens are restricted to massive windowless sheds that holds tens of
thousands of chickens each. As G.KNOWLES has noted Throughout the world the
majority of broilers are reared using very similar, modem, intensive systems of
production where birds are confined for their lifetime within high density housing
and reared from hatch to slaughter weight within approximately 40 days. The
detrimental effect of higher stocking densities may be more complex, reflecting not
only a lack of room available for birds to move and exercise, but also the extra

Research Paper Class Size
Class size is a very popular topic that is greatly research through out educational
settings. Class size deals with how many students are in the classroom at once. Class
size can vary greatly. It can depended on the location of the school, where the more
rural areas have only one high school while in a city environment there could be
twenty three high schools in one area. Location also depends on the amount of
population in that area. Class size also can depend on the level of schooling. Such as
in a major university there could be two hundred students in one class, while in a
local elementary school there is only eighteen students in one class. Class size can
depend on what kind of class is being taught. In ... Show more content on

It also can deal with how much the student as learn and understanding of the
information. Many of times academic achievement is shown by grades that are given
out by the teacher. The teacher gets these grades by test and assignments the students
perform by using the information they gain in class. Academic achievement is very
important and all schools want everyone student to have high academic achievement.
Depending on the class size academic achievement can either be positive or negative.
Positive academic achievement means the student is learning and understanding the
information and can use it effectively. While negative academic achievement is that
the student does not understand the information that is being given to them, which
results in not being able to use the information they learn. This will lead failure in
tests or assignments.
In one research study in Tennessee researchers had elementary grade students
attended the same size class for four years. The one class had more then twenty
students while the other class had only fifteen students. After each year of the study
the students took the Stanford Achievement Test battery and received separate scores
for reading, word study skills, and mathematics. At the end of the test they found out
that the students in the smaller class of fifteen students were 0.5 months ahead of the
other students by the end of kindergarten, 1.9 months ahead of the other students at
the end of 1st grade, 5.6 months ahead of
Tortoise Beetle Research Paper
The tortoise beetle is a lesser known creatures of the insect world, and it is high time
this beautiful bug got some recognition. To finally introduce you to this majestic
work of nature, we have compiled a list of the 15 most ridiculous facts that you won
t believe! Stay tuned for our part two article, coming soon to reveal the top eight most
ridiculous facts about the unique tortoise beetle!
Number Fifteen: The What?
The tortoise beetle! These unique insects are named for the elegant and colorful
designs they wear on their shell, often resembling the shape of a tortoise. They have
been observed in a wide variety of bright and even metallic hues, and quite frankly
look more like jewels that bugs.
Number Fourteen: A Shell Game

Remarkably, the beetle actually has the ability to change these colors like a
chameleon. The actual shell is really just transparent; it reflects light through a liquid
layer that sits just beneath it. The color is dependent on the amount of liquid present,
and the beetle can excrete more or less of it to alter its color.
Number Twelve: Growing Up
As a baby, this insect isn t quite so majestic. It lacks the formation of a shell at this
stage, so it has an array of other mechanisms to defend itself. The oval, segmented
body of the young beetle has spikes lining its sides, followed by two enormous tail
spikes. These tail spikes are often as long as two thirds of the whole insect s body
length.
Number Eleven: The Back Up Plan
If the creature s spikes fall short in fending off predators, the tortoise beetle has a
unique back up defense mechanism. When you aren t intimidating enough not to get
eaten, well you simply have to make yourself unappetizing. To do this, the beetle
will coat itself in a shield made of its own feces.

In Passing Nella Larsen Summary
The issues between the characters race and identity is a consequence of the
judgemental culture. Clare and Irene construct their identities by passing. By keeping
their black heritage a secret, they are afforded many privileges as white women, such
as health and safety from discrimination, exclusion and racial violence.
In Passing Nella Larsen seems to suggest that identity is a hazy fiction one tells that
outward appearances and surface events only partly confirm. (Thaggert, 2005)
Clare implies that she thinks her lifestyle is superior to those women that always
remain black. Her obsession with passing has formed her identity and became so
normal to her, Clare had a trick of sliding down ivory lids over astonishing black
eyes and then lifting them suddenly and turning on a caressing smile (Larsen, p.83).
The ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There are examples in the text that clearly show how identity is never known,
Never, when she was alone, had they even remotely seemed to suspect that she was
a negro (Larsen, p.10). Irene has more pride for her black heritage yet remains
paranoid at the way society may treat her because of it. Therefore, her racial
identity remains fluid as she blends in like any other white woman who has tea in a
white only section. She is very wary of her race being detected, which is
demonstrated early in the text, Did that woman, could that woman, somehow know
that here before her very eyes on the roof of the Drayton Sat a negro? (Larsen, p.8).
This may suggest that she is too fragile with passing. She knows her black identity
and this worries her. She knows what society would think of her if they knew.
Passing for white meant being treated with respect, rather than disdain and so being
found out would ruin this life for her. Race is what limits Irene, She was caught
between two allegiances, different, yet the same. Herself. Her race. Race!. The thing

Significance of the Women in Oedipus Rex Essay
Significance of the Women in Oedipus Rex
Michael J. O Brien in the Introduction to Twentieth Century Interpretations of
Oedipus Rex, maintains that there is a good deal of evidence to support this view
that the fifth century playwright was the educator of his people and a teacher .
Sophocles in his tragedy, Oedipus Rex, teaches about morally desirable attitudes and
behavior, (4) and uses three women to help convey these principles of living. This
essay will explore the role of women in the drama, the attitude toward women therein,
the involvement of women in plot development, and other aspects of women in
Oedipus Rex.

Laius, shows more lenient treatment toward the guilty party if he confesses his crime:
I summon him to make clean shrift to me./And if he shrinks, let him reflect that thus

the holy man Teiresias, shows his mastery to be more human and less godlike:
Monster! thy silence would incense a flint. /Will nothing loose thy tongue? Can
nothing melt thee, /Or shake thy dogged taciturnity? The king is confronted with
Teiresias accusation, Thou art the man, /Thou the accursed polluter of this land, and
then another even more condemning accusation, I say thou livest with thy nearest kin

even glimpsing the truth; rather he suspects treachery, and thus accuses his brother in
law, who appears in order to defend himself: Friends, countrymen, I learn King
Oedipus/ Hath laid against me a most grievous charge, /And come to you protesting.

The Typists Character Analysis
The play The Typists is a play about a time in WW2 how these women s who write
letters to families whose sons have passed away when serving in the military and
do not realize how things could be hard for them to know what would it be like if
they were in their shoes and dreams. This was also the first theatrical play I have
attended and to my surprise it was a great experience, so it also gave me an
affective memory to what I was dealing with in my life. Though the production was
excellent there were things that I enjoyed, and only some that I disliked as well.
Hopefully this will help clarify my likings and disliking of the production The
Typists. Starting with my dislike of the production, it came to my attention that some
parts of the playwhere Sofi, the new girl who was always getting blamed whenever
her boss did not like how she would type her letters in Spanish. In my opinion, the
boss should not have gotten after for that reason since there are some families who
do not always read everything in English. She initially thought if they have a Spanish
last name she was being consider it on typingtheirs in Spanish rather them suffer in
trying to find out what was said in English. Another thingthat I didn t find interesting
was when the all the girls in the office had a night out talking about their guys who
were serving when they had a job to fulfill instead of Sofi. I had saw how much Sofi
was working hard on her letters trying to impress her

The Life And Accomplishments Of Franklin D. Roosevelt
The United States of America had a very great leader during the years of 1933 1945.
This man led our country and achieved many accomplishments and had many
outstanding outcomes before and throughout his Presidency. I will address who
Franklin D. Roosevelt was and his well known accomplishments and his last days as
President in 1945.
Franklin D. Roosevelt was born on January 30th, 1882 in Hyde Park, New York to
James and Sara Delano Roosevelt. He was the only child but had an older half
brother, James Roosevelt from his father s first wife Rebecca Howland but she died
in 1876. Roosevelt s stepmother died on September 7, 1941 and his father died
four years later. Franklin married Eleanor Roosevelt on St. Patrick s Day March 17,

Franklin was a well known man because of his name and his family wealth. Franklin
was a well determined individual and wanted to accomplish so much that he even
wanted to enlist in the armed forces, but President Wilson urged against it, citing his

Ohio Governor James M. Cox for President and Franklin D. Roosevelt for Vice
President but unfortunately they lost and were defeated by Republicans Warren G.
Harding and Calvin Coolidge. He later was elected Governor of New York State in
1928 and 1930 for two two year terms. By 1932, Franklin D. Roosevelt was elected
President of the United States and then three more times. He was President in

Tay Sachs Disease
Tay Sachs disease is also known as: B Variant GM2 gangliosidosis, GM2
gangliosidosis type 1, Hex A deficiency, Hexosaminidase A deficiency,
Hexosaminidase alpha subunit deficiency (Variant B), sphingolipidosis, and TSD.
The main cause of Tay Sachs is a defective Hex A gene, and an absence of a
significant enzyme known as hexosaminidase. A gene on the fifteenth chromosome
codes for the generation of Hex A, and does not function properly in Tay Sachs
patients. Each person has is intended to have two Hex A genes. Based on inheritance
and genetic patterns, even if one gene is defective, the child will still be healthy.

Tay Sachs follows an autosomal recessive pattern both copies of the gene possess
mutations. Warren Tayfirst described it in 1881. Bernard Sachs was the first to
describe cellular changes and the genetics of it, in 1887. Tay described a patient with
a cherry red spot on their retina. Sachs established the connection the familial
connections of the disorder, noting that most babies who had Tay Sachs were of
Eastern European, Jewish descent. If symptoms and physical characteristics suggest
that a child may be suffering from Tay Sachs disease, blood tests are used to
determine whether or not the child s body is producing the necessary Hex A
enzyme. DNA is extracted from the sample in an attempt to detect mutations of the
Hex A. There is no known cure for Tay Sachs disease. For treatment and to ease the
pain of/reduce some of the side effects, doctors may prescribe seizure medications. It
is highly recommended that Tay Sachs patients begin some form of Respiratory
therapy. This type of therapy is necessary because children who have Tay Sachs have

Burnout Literature Review
In the article The Calm Before the Storm? Burnout and Compassion Fatigue Among
Undergraduate Nursing Students by Barret Michalec, Cynthia Dienfenbeck and
Margaret
Mahoney, the researchers conducted a study to understand the experiences of
undergraduate nurses and their reasons for burn out (2013). The study took place at
The University of Deleware
School of Nursing. The study had 436 BSN students which included 123 freshmen,
98 sophomores, 97 juniors, and 118 seniors. The racial breakdown of the subjects
were 85% white,
5% were black, 3% were Latina. The study was mostly made up of females at 93%.
The
Professional Quality of Life scale was used for the students to rate their compassion
fatigue ,
PTSD and burnout levels. It was concluded that the students reported average levels
of burnout and compassion fatigue. Although there was not a significant result in
their burnout it suggests the question to further research why nurses, later on, report
higher levels of PTSD and burnout (Michalec, et.al, 2013)
Part III Every nurse will experience trauma, this is unavoidable. There is not a single
nurse that that not experienced a traumatic or a stressful situation. However, there is
no awareness of this topic. Nurses spend the most time with patients they are usually
there with the patients from admission to discharge. They witness crying, screaming
and pleading of parents to save their child. As discussed in this paper the
consequences of PTSD can be
Revolutionary War Tactics
In every major military operation, terrain, troops and weapons often dictate the way
the war is fought. The American Revolutionary War was a prime example of this
military strategy. It is often said that the Patriots use of guerrilla warfare was the
reason why the Americans were successful in defeating the British. However, the
Americans employed various tactics both on and off the battlefield that led to the
ultimate defeat of the British. The American Patriots won the Revolutionary War not
through the sole use of guerrilla warfare, but rather through an amalgamation of
guerrilla warfare, linear battle tactics, and the employment of espionage.
There is no doubt that guerrilla warfare played a significant part in the American

The small arms that the army did have were often defective and gunpowder was
scarce. The standard musket used by the militia was inefficient in terms of fighting
on the larger scale battle fields. Not only were the bullets completely inaccurate at
300 yards but they were also no longer lethal at that distance. Additionally, the rifles
the militia used were their own and not available to the Continental Army as a whole.
Therefore, the Continental Army began using the Brown Bess , the musket with
bayonet attachment that the British Army used. They became available as the
Patriots would capture British troops and were also shipped in from European
manufacturers. Although it was highly inaccurate and was very time consuming
in terms of reloading, considering it was used in mass in the linear formation of
the ranks and file of the standing armies, it was highly effective in terms of the
volleying of the rounds. At fifty yards, the Brown Bess would have an eighteen
inch variance. However, in linear formations, this variance could be overcome and
injury could still be imposed as soldiers were closely filed together. The musket
weighed approximately 13 pounds and released a large amount of smoke after it
was fired. Therefore, the linear tactics had to be employed to allow for repeated
volleys, firing rank by rank, and thus unleashing more damage at approximately nine
rounds per volley. Furthermore, the Brown Bess had the capability of attaching
bayonets, which were also necessary on the battlefield. The bayonet was inserted
down the barrel of the musket, which was imperative for close quarter hand to hand
combat when time did not allow to reload the musket and the enemy was too close.
Linear tactics also allowed Washington s use of artillery, although it was limited.
Washington utilized light, mobile cannons and field artillery to push back the

Every time Tesco expands there business to a new region, a great deal of money

3.1.3 Opportunities:
When referring to the current external environmental conditions of Tesco, it is the
global financial crisis. However, Tesco regards the crisis as its opportunities.
According to the Economist (May 14, 2009), Tesco makes it a chance to push further

People who have witnessed the way in which retailers cooperate with banks in joint

Mercutio s Death In Romeo And Juliet
The tragic romance of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare stages the death
of a pair of star crossed lovers that puts an end to the feud between the two houses.
However, there are much more deaths in the play other than Romeo and Juliet. The
destiny of the play together with the clue of many deaths are both present in the
prologue before Act 1, From ancient grudge break to new mutiny, where civil blood
makes civil hands unclean. this line suggests to the audience that there will be
blood shed in the play ahead, giving clue to the many deaths. Also, the destiny of
the play has also been spelt out in the prologue, From forth the fatal loins of these
two foes a pair of star crossed lovers take their life, whose misadventured piteous

If Tybalt, the learned swordsman missed had that final thrust simply because
Mercutio saw through his moves, the play would have developed differently.
Firstly, it is evident from Act 2, Scene 3 when Benvolio asked Mercutio about
Tybalt, Mercutio replied He fights as you sing prick song, keeps time, distance,
and proportion. He rests his minim rests one, two, and the third in your bosom. ,
this shows that Mercutio understands the way trained swordsman fight. As a result,
Mercutio has the ability to walk out of the fight unharmed, and in the twist of fate,
Tybalt is instead killed by Mercutio. Consequently, Mercutio will flee the crime
scene as Romeo did in the original play. When Prince Escalus arrives, it is only
natural for him to investigate by asking for the person whom started the fight,
undeniably Tybalt himself was the one whom started the fight, thus, is punishable
by death. We also know that Prince Escalus love Mercutio very much from Act 3,
Scene 1 I ll amerce you with so strong a fine that you shall all repent the loss of
mine. Therefore, it is likely for Prince Escalus to put the blame on the dead Tybalt for
starting the fight and by the same argument Montague used in Act 1, Scene 3 His
fault concludes but what the law should end, the life of Tybalt. Thereby announcing
the exile of Mercutio in attempt to save Mercutio s life. However, Romeo in this
situation does not face direct consequence
Analysis Of Thoreau s Solitude
Thoreau opens Solitude with a melodious articulation of his pleasure in and
sensitivity for nature. When he comes back to his home in the wake of strolling at
night, he finds that guests have ceased by, which prompts him to remark both on his
strict separation from others while at the lake and on the non literal space between
men. There is closeness in his association with nature, which gives adequate fraternity
and blocks the likelihood of forlornness. The immensity of the universe puts the
space between men in context. Thoreau brings up that on the off chance that we
accomplish a more prominent closeness to nature and the heavenly, we won t require
physical nearness to others in the station, the mail station, the tavern, the meeting
house, the school building places that offer the sort of organization that diverts and
disperses. He remarks on man s double nature as a physical element and as a
scholarly observer inside his own particular body, which isolates a man from himself
and adds encourage point of view to his separation from others. Also, a man is
constantly alone when thinking and working. He finishes up the part by alluding to
allegorical guests who speak to God and nature, to his own unity with nature, and to
the wellbeing and imperativeness that nature gives. Proceeding with the topic created
in Higher Laws, Brute Neighbors opens with an exchange amongst Hermit and Poet,
who typify spellbound parts of the creator himself (creature nature and the
Ethnography Of Spatial Migration
What would happen if people granted the right to move freely all over the world?
And if borders controls were repressed regarding migrating? The
Migration Without Borders scenario sometimes called open borders is increasingly
being under the spotlight by academics and policymakers while receiving support
from different organizations, including human rights watch movements and
economists. In such a globalized world in which migration flows seem to escape
countries attempts to curb or regulate immigration, it appears to be a challenging idea
to adopt a critical rethinking of current migration policies and practices. This essay
explores the ethnography of spatial migration by presenting the refugees current

For example, German Americans have impacted the American culture and way of life
in some profound ways. The founders of the most well known breweries in the nation
were German immigrants. The Brooklyn Bridge was designed and engineered by

A Literary Analysis Of Elie Wiesel s Night
Night Literary Analysis
In Night, one man tells his story of the terrible experiences that he struggled
through in a concentration camp during the Holocaust. Elie Wiesel gives his
readers vivid descriptions of the places he was at and of the people who had
crossed his path at one time or another. Elie and many other Jews struggle with their
faith in God because they have felt abandoned by Him. In Night, Elie Wiesel uses
repetition, symbolism, and irony to convey his loss of faith throughout the book.
When Elie first arrives in Birkenau, he and his father are separated from his mother
and three sisters. Elie and his father are lead into the camp and he witnesses the
burning of babies and children in a large ditch.

Elie feels like a stranger among the prisoners because they are praising God and he
refuses to. My eyes opened and I was alone, terribly alone in a world without God,
without man...I was nothing but ashes now... (68). Elie uses irony to show that a
person can feel alone even when in the midst of a crowd. It is ironic that even
when he surrounded by people, he feels like an outsider among them, though has
known them for months. He does not only feel separated from people, but also he
feels abandoned by God. In the Bible, God tells His people, Never will I leave you;
never will I forsake you, (Deuteronomy 31:6). Elie feels that God has broken His
promise and because of that, he feels no reason to give God any
Motorcycle Safety In The United States
Studies have shown that motor vehicle and related crashes are the primary cause
of death among Americans, especially those aged 1 34 years old. Contributing to
the death toll are alcohol, speed, and other various driver behaviors as well as the
kinds of vehicles people drive, and the roads on which they travel. In this context,
traffic safety is a major public health issue for all motorized regions of the world [1].
More influentially, crashes involving motorcycles are substantially more severe in
terms of injury than those that do not. Statistics show that motorcycles comprise of
only 3% of registered vehicle in the US, while only accounting for less than 1% of all
vehicle miles traveled [2]. Although the motorcyclepresence is miniscule on... Show

Extensive studies have considered the role of public policies in reducing fatalities
among passenger car occupants, but not amongst specific types of vehicles,
specifically, motorcycles. Also, it is worth a note that research on the impact of
socioeconomic factors in road safety have received very few to little emphasis
within the US. For example, Tsai et al sought to fill these gap by looking at the
effect of both socioeconomic factors and public policy on highway safety in the US
[6]. This study confirmed that it is important to consider the influence of
socioeconomic and public policy factors on highway safety. Additionally, research
involving these factors in specific relation to motorcycle safety were found to be
very limited. Most research relevant to this topic focused only on helmet use which
is only a miniscule portion of what this study intends to incorporate. However, one
study did attempt to model the effect of public policy on motorcycle safety, but
limitations existed within the dataset and the study itself which was conducted on a
macro level [7]. Therefore, this section will introduce the factors that were found to
be significant in previous research, and will define a new series of factors to study
the relationship between these predictors and the dependent variable, crashes
African American Factual Art
Africans transported to the New World experienced brutal and inhuman treatments

ritual significance were integrate and synchronize to those of the Western World in

sacred objects that Africans reassembled when they were moved to the New World

Robert Ferris Thompson also uses figure 1, Mbumba Mbondo to further elaborate
the content and significance that this artifact represented. For instance, in
accordance to this artifact the Kongo viewed this object as a sacred and powerful
charm. In Thompson s article the term s etymology of mbumba is another term for
Nkisi, however, mbumba is of higher class, referring to a higher connection to the
dead of Kongo. It also explains that the word mbumba is a reference to a jar or
basket. This jar as analyzed was decorated with materials as mentioned before and
had also great significance such as white buttons symbolizing mystery and the bird
feathers symbolizing power that flies that was meant and believed to be the
connection to heaven. Furthermore, Figure 2 a more recent Nkisi is more vibrant
and luminous or as referred to the illumination to call upon the Iwa. Now,
according to Stephen D. Glazier s article, the term Iwa or Ioa served in reference to
spirits or deities, and this comes way back from African origins. To explain, in
Africa the Kongo community would have the priest sanctify the Iwa to allow
practice of devotion as a fellowship. However, in Haiti the relationship
Cytochrome P450
CYTOCHROME P450 2S1
Cytochrome P450s (CYPs) are monooxygenase proteins that catalyze the
metabolism of exogenous and endogenous substrates. CYPs function as enzymes
and are found in all kingdoms of life. The P in P450 refers to pigment and 450nm
refers to the wavelength of CYPs in solution exposed to carbon monoxide (CO).
CYPs belong to the superfamily of proteins containing a heme (iron) cofactor active
site. The heme active site is tethered to the CYP protein via thiolate ligand derived
from a cysteine residue. The cysteine and accompanying residues in the C terminal
are highly conserved and contain the PROSITE consensus sequence [FW] [SGNH] x

The amount of amplified DNA can also be seen on an agarose gel with an ethidium

The Economic And Social Development Plan
According to FAO Corporate (no date), since the First National Economic and Social
Development Plan began in 1961, emphasis has been on economic development.
Natural resources and human capital expanded the production base, employment
opportunities and national income. These guidelines were appropriate for and
consistent with the country s situation in the early period of national development
because of abundant natural resources and an excess labour supply, especially in the
agricultural sector. Thailand s production and exports, therefore, were attributed
largely to these comparative advantages. Some problems are due to planning focusing
on income generation, regardless of the cost to natural resources, the environment
and society. Human resources were seen as production inputs serving the labour
market; less attention was given to human potential, intellectual capability and local
ways of life. Emphasis was on foreign technology transfer, rather than research and
development (R D) to upgrade existing wisdom (ibid).
To generate national development guideline ideas and recommendations for the
Eighth Plan, an unusual planning opportunity was organised in 1998, a think tank
seminar, Generating ideas for the Eighth Plan at Marukhataiyawan Palace in
Petchaburi. It joined academics, philosophers, mass media and NGOs who reflected
on Thailand s future: envisioning a self sufficient, free, just, merciful, compassionate
society respecting human rights; in which people are
Lobbying and United States
LOBBYING
Introduction
Any association of individuals or organizations, usually formally organized on the
basis of one or more shared concerns, attempts to influence public policy in its
favour. All interest groups share a desire to affect opinion or policy of the policy
makers or target group to benefit themselves or their causes. Their goal could be a
policy that exclusively benefits group members. They attempt to achieve their goals
by lobbying that is, by attempting to bring pressure to bear on policy makers to gain
policy outcomes in their favour. Interest groups are a natural outgrowth of the
communities of interest that exist in all societies. Politics and interests are inseparable.
The common goals and sources of interest ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

But by far the largest component of this category is government in its many forms. At
the national level, government agencies, such as the British Department for
Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, lobby on their own behalf to secure funding or
to prioritize certain issues; at the regional level, public universities lobby the
appropriate government (e.g., provincial governments in Canada and state
governments in the United States) for funding or legislation that benefits them; at the
local level, school boards may lobby the local government for money for a new
school gymnasium or for more funding for educational programs. At the international
level, the United Nations may lobby its members to pay their outstanding
contributions to the organization or to carry out Security Council resolutions.
Although formally organized associations play a predominant role in traditional
lobbying efforts, non associational groups and interests often have an important
influence. Such interests lack a formal organization or permanent structure. They
include spontaneous protest movements formed in reaction to a particular policy or
event and informal groups of citizens and officials of public or private organizations.
For example, French farmers have sometimes held up traffic in Paris to protest
government agricultural policy.

Negative Body Image
You re scrolling through your Instagram account and you see a post from a model
that you follow. It s a group photo from an A lister party. All the women have
enormous busts, but narrow waists perched upon huge derrieres while all the men
have a broad upper body, followed by a set of washboard abs. You think to yourself
how beautiful and perfect they look. A twinge of jealousy flickers within you as you
subconsciously start comparing yourself to that photo. Unfortunately, these are some
expectations that society has built on how one should one. Moreover, when we don t
reach it, there are often consequences of developing negative body imageissues.
So what is negative body image exactly? According to NEDA (Australia s national
eating disorder association) , body image issue is the dissatisfaction a person may
have of their body not meeting unrealistic criteria. It is the negative thoughts and
emotions that result from their perception of their own physical self. Unfortunately,
in today s day and age, this is an existing issue due to the world we live in promoting
unrealistic body ideals. It tends to become a challenge to not compare yourself to
these expectations when you scrutinize those images of Instagram models in your
everyday life.
A study conducted Down Under showed that, out of 10,500 Australian women, a
staggering 89% of women all hated or wanted to change something about their

Medical Marijuana Argumentative Analysis
Abstract: The time has come for marijuana to be legalized throughout the United
States. Marijuana sales bring in millions of dollars. Medicinal marijuana has been
shown to slow down or even sometimes stop the growth of lung cancer cells. In the
case of marijuana, the benefits far exceed the risks.
Marijuana is the dried leaves and flowers of the hemp plant that are smoked as a
drug. It is one of the most controversial topics in the United States but it should be
legalized everywhere. Some states have legalized marijuana in some fashion
whether it is for recreational or medical use. There are still numerous states where it
has not been legalized which is mind boggling to me. Marijuana sales can bring
millions of dollars to states and the government. We know that the government is
money hungry so they should be focused on trying to get it legalized. Most of my
arguments for marijuana have to do with diseases people have and ... Show more

Human Resources And Its Effects On The World
Population On our world there are about seven billion people living at once. With
all the resources available to us versus the increasing rate of people born a year, we

than ten billion people and with the rate of births versus deaths per year, seven
billion is closely approaching ten billion in a matter of decades. If we do not

total consumption of resources we will be doomed. Taking in affect how we use our
resources today, the most important resources that allow for our survival is oil, energy

Scientists predict that there in only fifty thousand days left we will have oil
accessible to us. In terms of food, we are able to substitute oil for certain fruits and
for plastic using aluminum, glass, etc. However, the most troubled issue for the
future is transportation. Planes, cars, trucks, etc. are all prime examples of
essential oil users. We still have not been able to solve the issue of creating
efficient energy to replace oil. Electricity is not at the point where we are able to

like our ancestors did and technology would be disconnected and unusable. We
would even revert to the steam engine for power if worst came to worst. Energy is

dilemma (footbridge) and impersonal (switch) dilemma. Responses were measured
on a 6 point Likert scale (ranging from 1= absolutely unacceptable, to 6=absolutely

Discussion The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between, DP
and purity sensitivity on the MFQ, and TA and harm sensitivity on the MFQ, DP
and utilitarian response in the trolley dilemma for personal scenario, TA and
utilitarian response in the trolley dilemma for personal scenario, from a sample
group of 596 participants. The findings confirmed the hypotheses that disgust
propensity (DP) will be positively correlated with purity sensitivity on the MFQ, and
trait anger (TA) would be positively correlated with harm sensitivity on the MFQ.
Previous research incorporated Shweder s (1990) three ethics into particualr

(Rozin et al.,). The MFT further elaborated on the moral foundation: Community into
Ingroup/Loyalty and Authority/Respect, autonomy into Harm/Care and Fairness

theory (MFT) construct is a valid extension of Shweder s ethics, the same emotions
associated with each ethic should also be linked to their corresponding foundations,

The Characteristics Of Media Feeding Frrenzy By Larry
Sabato
The media is a citizen s gateway to the world of politics. For the majority of
Americans the news is their primary source of information and the substance of
that news very often is based on the number of viewers it will draw, not the
importance of the story. Basically the media shows you the stories that it wants
you to know, but it also shows the stories it wants you to get upset about. A trait
that the general media has developed for the past double decades is that of jumping
on a story particularly about political figures and going into frenzy for as long as
the public s attention span will allow them to. Often times it is because of something
a person did wrong or controversially, but that is not always the case as it could be
over something very ordinary but just surprising. Media feeding frenzies can
sometimes be warranted, and other times they just seem to happen because there s
nothing else for them to latch onto at the time. Billygate, Jimmy Carters killer rabbit
and Sarah Palinbeing announced as John McCains running mate in 2008 are just a
few examples of media feeding frenzies. In Feeding Frenzy by Larry Sabato he is
critical of the characteristics of the media in situations where they openly ridicule
and attack a widely known person for some sort of wrongdoing, or past indiscretion.
According to Sabato, journalists and the media now fit snugly into their newfound
role as gatekeeper, which he says enables them to basically screen people who are fit

Now the Union army had one major advantage, which you can also see throughout
the whole war, and that is the sheer numbers the Union had and could produce
compared to the Confederacy. In the Battle of Antietam, the Union army consisted of
65,000 men, where as the Confederacy only consisted of 40,000. One huge
advantage that the Union had in this before the battle is originally General Robert E.
Lee planned on fighting somewhere else, but Confederate curries lose the opord
for the attack which Union cavalry found bringing it back to General McClellan
giving him a massive advantage. Another advantage the Union army has in this
battle is the battle occurred in Maryland, which is Union territory giving them the
better advantage of using the terrain to their advantage. The beginning of the battle
started at the Battle of South Mountain. This was an attack led by 38,000 Union
soldiers against only 12,000 defending Confederate troops, where the Confederate
soldiers ended up being pushed back around dusk before the main battle began. By
the end of this pre battle the Union ended up with 2,500 Union casualties and the
Confederate taking a loss of 3,800 casualties. The significant factor of this was
General Lee made it look like he outnumbered General McClellan, but if he were to
use his full mass to to go over the Mountain and attack from there he would have had
a much greater chance of ending the battle with a major Union victory. Although he

Fragile X Syndrome Analysis
In 1943 two men, Martin and Bell discovered a gene condition called Fragile X
Syndrome. 2 Fragile X Syndrome (FXS) is a genetic condition, which may cause an
intellectual disability, behavioural and learning difficulties and various other
physical characterstics.1 It occurs when the female gene (X gene) is repeated over
50 200 times, this is called Fragile X permutation. 1 In 1969, Herbert Lubs
established the chromosomal test for Fragile X Syndrome. Fragile X Syndrome is an
inherited condition in which the X chromosomeis passed on from the parent to the
child. If the woman has the affect X, they will have an increased chance for passing
the geneon but as men have an Y as well as an X chromosome, if they have Fragile
X Syndrome, their sons won t be affected as they have their fathers Y chromosome. It
is the most common form of inherited intellectual disability in males and a major
cause of intellectual disability in females.
There is currently no cure for this condition yet and treatment is generally based on
the symptoms the individual has.
During the 1970s and 1980s, the only examination for Fragile X Syndrome was a
test in which blood was taken to test for chromosomes.3 However, this was
unreliable as not always accurate. In the 1990s scientists identified a specific gene
that causes Fragile X Syndrome and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Actors in the Humanitarian Community
It has always been said that the things that are unlikely to happen does actually
happen during an emergency or in a crisis situation. If one accept that it is by fate a
crisis happens and do not have any precautionary measures, then the crisis
management is doomed to fail. This holds true when dealing with humanitarian aids
after a disaster, whether man made or of natural cause. It is then of utmost importance
that all the actors in the humanitarian community knows their roles and get their acts
together harmoniously. Figure 1 shows the link between these different actors and
how they work together (GHA Report, 2011). Who are then these actors within the
humanitarian community? Actors in the Humanitarian Community Government A
government s role within the humanitarian community can be classified into two
categories. A country may take the role of a recipient or a donor (GHA, 2014). A
government s response is crucial particularly for a recipient government. Though it
is important for individual citizen have their personal contingency plans, but
majority of the problems that arise from a disaster are beyond the individual s
capability to solve. The government, along with its many branches such as the
military and local government must fill in the void. the government should designate
evacuation centers, rebuild destroyed houses and take care of the basic needs for the
affected as soon as possible. The government must also act quickly to create a
logistics roadmap in order
The Elementary And Secondary Education Act
The The Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), was revamped in 2001
as the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB). Due to the time period of the inception
and now, there is a pressing need for reform. Even when the law expired four years
ago, Congress continued to update the out of date NCLB Act was never seriously
considered by the House Committee on Educationand the Workforce until now. Since
the Republicans assumed control of the House of Representatives, they have created
and passed a series of reaffirmation bills out of the particular committee such as the
Empowering Parents through Quality Charter Schools Act, which passed through the
House of Representatives with a great bipartisan majority. This bill is part of the
attempt to reform the outmoded NCLB Act.
At inception, the NCLB Act was thought of as revolutionary, and in some ways it
was. The larger use of data helped superintendents, school boards, and teachers
identify students that were in need of additional instruction and offered parents a
view of the quality of the schools. But, even with these innovations, the NCLB Act
had some weaknesses. The Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) is a one size fits all
standard that hampers states and school districts ability to appropriately gauge the
learning done by the students and to tailor the schools curriculums to enable the
students to graduate high schools successfully prepared for any postsecondary
education or the workforce. The system of mandated
Essay On Yorick s Skull In Hamlet
This same skull, sir, was / Yorick s skull, the King s jester (5.1.166 167). I argue
that Yorick s skull is significant to Shakespeare s play Hamlet because it further
increases the character Hamlet s obsession with death. There is great significance
in the fact that the bone that was found was a bone as dramatic and as important as
a skull. The significance that it is the skull of not only a jester, a character whose
point in life is to bring joy to people, but also the fact that Yorick was someone
Hamletknew as a child. All of these factors contribute to Hamlet s obsession with
death and mortality.
By this point in Hamlet, Hamlet has already experienced a great bit of death with
people he has known throughout his life. It is not a shock that Hamlet would start
having such an obsession with death and mortality because of all the death he
experiences in this play. Discovering the skull of a jester is almost of greater
importance than the other deaths in the play, because this is the first time Hamlet has
seen the bones of someone he once knew in the play. Hamlet s father came to him in
an almost alive form, That ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The brain is arguably the most important organ in the body other than the heart. In
poetic reasoning, instead of scientific, the heart could represent feelings and mortal
needs verses the brain represents the body s logical reactions to the world. By
Hamlet finding the bone that held the brain and facial structure of Yorick instead of
the many bones that hold the heart inside of the body, the significance is that Yorick
s worth as a jester came from his brain and the expressions he made instead of what
the jester felt in his heart. Theoretically, Hamlet valued the logic in people, not
feelings, because throughout the play he manipulates people using his words to
portray that he is mad. Hamlet used logic to portray certain
Barriers Of Oligopolistic Competition
Oligopoly came from the Greek words where oligos means few and polein means
to sell. Oligopolistic competition is a kind of imperfect competition where only a
few firms make up the entire industry, which mean the majority of market share is
owned by a small number of large firms, but never can be one. It can be said as a
form of market structure which falls between perfect competitionmarket and
monopolistic market. (Reynolds, nd)
There are two type of oligopoly, identical product oligopoly and differentiate product
oligopoly. Identical product oligopoly more like perfect competition as it tends to
produce intermediate goods that further progress by other industry, such as aluminum
and steel. Meanwhile, differentiate product oligopoly ... Show more content on

It allows people to communicate, share thoughts and deal with nearly anyone,
regardless of where in the world.(Investopedia, nd). There are few types of services
including local telephone service, long distance telephone service, wireless
telephone service, Internet service, Voice over Internet Protocol, paging service and
a wide array of other competitive products and services such as voice mail and pay
phones. (The Public Utilities Comision of OHIO, nd)
By tradition, telecommunication companies primarily provide voice calling, text
messaging, and Internet connectivity through wireline or landline connections. But
now, the business changed into wireless along with wired internet, data, and
business solutions where telecom companies mainly make profit by selling
subscription plans for voice and data. (Marketrealist, nd) This trend continues to
increase in every city across the world as more and more workers transact their
business away from their table. In 2003, wireless calls for first time exceeded calls
from hard lines in United States following by Europe in 2008. (Encyclopedia of

  • 2. Episodic Memory Recall Introduction: According to Levels of Processing framework, developed by Craik and Lockhart (1972), the duration that a memory is held, is determined by the level at which the information is encoded. Episodic memory recall is a cognitive process involved in consolidating the information presented. The depth of processing occurring during the encoding of a memory, relates to, how well information is recalled later. To clarify, information that we process semantically (i.e., by its meaning) comprises a deeper level of processing than information we process structurally (i.e., appearance). Thus predicting, the deeper an individual processes information, correlates with the duration a memory trace will last. Consequently, memory is a by product... Semantic questions, as a result of deep processing do require more cognitive work to be done than a structural or phonemic question. However, the ambiguity of the definition of deep is dismantled through this study, due to the use of requiring double the questions for structural and phonemic words. By doing so, we are evening out the amount of cognitive capacity required to think about the word while still only using one level of analysis. Therefore, the subject is now processing for about the same duration of time for all three levels of

In Passing Nella Larsen seems to suggest that identity is a hazy fiction one tells that outward appearances and surface events only partly confirm. The small arms that the army did have were often defective and gunpowder was scarce. The standard musket used by the militia was inefficient in terms of fighting on the larger scale battle fields. Not only were the bullets completely inaccurate at 300 yards but they were also no longer lethal at that distance. Additionally, the rifles the militia used were their own and not available to the Continental Army as a whole. Therefore, the Continental Army began using the Brown Bess , the musket with bayonet attachment that the British Army used. They became available as the Patriots would capture British troops and were also shipped in from European manufacturers. Although it was highly inaccurate and was very time consuming in terms of reloading, considering it was used in mass in the linear formation of the ranks and file of the standing armies, it was highly effective in terms of the volleying of the rounds. At fifty yards, the Brown Bess would have an eighteen inch variance. However, in linear formations, this variance could be overcome and injury could still be imposed as soldiers were closely filed together. The musket weighed approximately 13 pounds and released a large amount of smoke after it was fired. Therefore, the linear tactics had to be employed to allow for repeated volleys, firing rank by rank, and thus unleashing more damage at approximately nine rounds per volley. Furthermore, the Brown Bess had the capability of attaching bayonets, which were also necessary on the battlefield. The bayonet was inserted down the barrel of the musket, which was imperative for close quarter hand to hand combat when time did not allow to reload the musket and the enemy was too close. Linear tactics also allowed Washington s use of artillery, although it was limited. Washington utilized light, mobile cannons and field artillery to push back the

We also know that Prince Escalus love Mercutio very much from Act 3, Scene 1 I ll amerce you with so strong a fine that you shall all repent the loss of mine. When he comes back to his home in the wake of strolling at night, he finds that guests have ceased by, which prompts him to remark both on his strict separation from others while at the lake and on the non literal space between men. There is closeness in his association with nature, which gives adequate fraternity and blocks the likelihood of forlornness. The immensity of the universe puts the space between men in context. Thoreau brings up that on the off chance that we accomplish a more prominent closeness to nature and the heavenly, we won t require physical nearness to others in the station, the mail station, the tavern, the meeting house, the school building places that offer the sort of organization that diverts and disperses. He remarks on man s double nature as a physical element and as a scholarly observer inside his own particular body, which isolates a man from himself and adds encourage point of view to his separation from others. Also, a man is constantly alone when thinking and working. He finishes up the part by alluding to allegorical guests who speak to God and nature, to his own unity with nature, and to the wellbeing and imperativeness that nature gives. Proceeding with the topic created in Higher Laws, Brute Neighbors opens with an exchange amongst Hermit and Poet, who typify spellbound parts of the creator himself (creature nature and the

The Migration Without Borders scenario sometimes called open borders is increasingly being under the spotlight by academics and policymakers while receiving support from different organizations, including human rights watch movements and economists. In such a globalized world in which migration flows seem to escape countries attempts to curb or regulate immigration, it appears to be a challenging idea to adopt a critical rethinking of current migration policies and practices. A Literary Analysis Of Elie Wiesel s Night Night Literary Analysis In Night, one man tells his story of the terrible experiences that he struggled through in a concentration camp during the Holocaust. Contributing to the death toll are alcohol, speed, and other various driver behaviors as well as the kinds of vehicles people drive, and the roads on which they travel. In this context, traffic safety is a major public health issue for all motorized regions of the world [1]. More influentially, crashes involving motorcycles are substantially more severe in terms of injury than those that do not. Extensive studies have considered the role of public policies in reducing fatalities among passenger car occupants, but not amongst specific types of vehicles, specifically, motorcycles. Also, it is worth a note that research on the impact of socioeconomic factors in road safety have received very few to little emphasis within the US. For example, Tsai et al sought to fill these gap by looking at the effect of both socioeconomic factors and public policy on highway safety in the US [6]. This study confirmed that it is important to consider the influence of socioeconomic and public policy factors on highway safety. Additionally, research involving these factors in specific relation to motorcycle safety were found to be very limited. Most research relevant to this topic focused only on helmet use which is only a miniscule portion of what this study intends to incorporate. However, one study did attempt to model the effect of public policy on motorcycle safety, but limitations existed within the dataset and the study itself which was conducted on a macro level [7]. Therefore, this section will introduce the factors that were found to be significant in previous research, and will define a new series of factors to study the relationship between these predictors and the dependent variable, crashes

The Economic And Social Development Plan According to FAO Corporate (no date), since the First National Economic and Social Development Plan began in 1961, emphasis has been on economic development. Natural resources and human capital expanded the production base, employment opportunities and national income. These guidelines were appropriate for and consistent with the country s situation in the early period of national development because of abundant natural resources and an excess labour supply, especially in the agricultural sector. Thailand s production and exports, therefore, were attributed largely to these comparative advantages. Some problems are due to planning focusing on income generation, regardless of the cost to natural resources, the environment and society. Human resources were seen as production inputs serving the labour market; less attention was given to human potential, intellectual capability and local ways of life. Emphasis was on foreign technology transfer, rather than research and development (R D) to upgrade existing wisdom (ibid). To generate national development guideline ideas and recommendations for the Eighth Plan, an unusual planning opportunity was organised in 1998, a think tank seminar, Generating ideas for the Eighth Plan at Marukhataiyawan Palace in Petchaburi. It joined academics, philosophers, mass media and NGOs who reflected on Thailand s future: envisioning a self sufficient, free, just, merciful, compassionate society respecting human rights; in which people are

Their goal could be a policy that exclusively benefits group members. At the national level, government agencies, such as the British Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, lobby on their own behalf to secure funding or to prioritize certain issues; at the regional level, public universities lobby the appropriate government (e.g., provincial governments in Canada and state governments in the United States) for funding or legislation that benefits them; at the local level, school boards may lobby the local government for money for a new school gymnasium or for more funding for educational programs. At the international level, the United Nations may lobby its members to pay their outstanding contributions to the organization or to carry out Security Council resolutions. Although formally organized associations play a predominant role in traditional lobbying efforts, non associational groups and interests often have an important influence. Such interests lack a formal organization or permanent structure. They include spontaneous protest movements formed in reaction to a particular policy or event and informal groups of citizens and officials of public or private organizations. For example, French farmers have sometimes held up traffic in Paris to protest government agricultural policy. The role of interest groups in public policy making: pluralist

For the majority of Americans the news is their primary source of information and the substance of that news very often is based on the number of viewers it will draw, not the importance of the story. Basically the media shows you the stories that it wants you to know, but it also shows the stories it wants you to get upset about. A trait that the general media has developed for the past double decades is that of jumping on a story particularly about political figures and going into frenzy for as long as the public s attention span will allow them to. Often times it is because of something a person did wrong or controversially, but that is not always the case as it could be over something very ordinary but just surprising. Media feeding frenzies can sometimes be warranted, and other times they just seem to happen because there s nothing else for them to latch onto at the time. Billygate, Jimmy Carters killer rabbit and Sarah Palinbeing announced as John McCains running mate in 2008 are just a few examples of media feeding frenzies. One huge advantage that the Union had in this before the battle is originally General Robert E.
