By the time high school students are seniors around 70 percent of students have had alcohol and
the number will increase more as they begin college (IUPUI). With being in college one thing
that I did discover is that underage drinking is part of the culture in college, also the friends that
I had in high school who are 21 now I have discovered they drink some of the least amount now.
Which has begun to make me wonder why people who are 21 drink less than people who are
underage. I believe that when people are 21 they now do not have to worry about the next time
they can get alcohol. Congress should lower the drinking age from 21 to 18 because at age 18
when they are in college, for some students it will be the first time of it being acceptable to drink
alcohol. Most college students are putting their health at risk with binge drinking. They are not
introduced to alcohol at a younger age and drink because they do not know the next time they
will get alcohol, so they will start to binge drink drinking a high content of alcohol quickly and

The Second Amendment gives citizens the right to bear arms and individuals believe that this
right is being taken for granted and away from their rights, so President Obama wants to be
committed to the Second Amendment, but also protect the citizens from the gun violence by

to stop every violent act, but if there is even one thing that we can do to prevent any of these

Good Morning/Afternoon fellow peers and Mr Harrop, today I am going to speak to you about
the moral dilemmas and moral issues in non literary texts such as Remember the Titans.
Remember the Titans is directed by Boaz Yakin and was made on the 25th of January 2000, the
film revolves around the struggles that many people had in the changes that were made in 1971.
This speech will be revolving moral issues and dilemmas that are shown throughout the movie. The
most prominent characters in the film that face these issues and dilemmas are Gerry Bertier and
Julius Campbell. both characters face their morals with inner and outer conflicts that are shown
throughout the film, these include Gerry choosing his teammates over his girlfriend and when
Julius had to accept his white teammate, Louie Lastik, trying to befriend them.
In Alexandria 1971, high school football is a way of life, for everyone. So when a local school
board was forced to integrate an all black school with an all white school, the foundation that
football was set on would be put to the test. During this film, many of the characters suffer moral
issues and dilemmas that change the way that they will see things forever. Those characters include

For the group s PPR project, we chose volunteering for the Red Cross s campus blood drive. This
was decided upon because of the important role that the organization has developed in humanity,
the important role it plays in healthcare, as well as the many roles a nurse has within this
organization. To begin, let s start with a little history of the Red Cross. It was founded by Clara
Bartonin 1881 during the Civil War. Barton was originally working as a record s clerk, however
she had an understanding that there was a need to provide assistance to the men in uniform.
Some were injured, some were hungry, and some were in need of clothing. After discovering
many of the wounded soldiers were men she knew, she began collecting supplies on behalf of the
U.S. Sanitary Commission. Barton didn t just provide supplies for the soldiers, however, she
wrote letters for them, lifted their spirits, listened to their problems, and prayed alongside them.
She also did a lot of work on the battlefield to assist medical military units, often bringing much
needed supplies, as well as tending to wounded soldiers. Toward the end of the war, Barton took on
