environment.
Moreover, addressing the specific requirements and expectations of IELTS essays adds an
additional layer of difficulty. IELTS essays often require a balanced argument, a clear structure,
and the ability to express ideas coherently within a limited word count. Striking the right balance
between providing relevant examples and maintaining a well-organized essay structure is crucial.
Researching and staying updated on current events, trends, and global issues is essential for
creating content that is both relevant and impactful. This requires time and effort to gather
credible information and form well-supported arguments.
Language proficiency is, of course, at the core of IELTS essays. Achieving the desired level of
language proficiency involves a nuanced understanding of vocabulary, grammar, and syntax.
Expressing ideas clearly and concisely in academic English is a skill that often takes time and
practice to develop.
In conclusion, tackling an essay on IELTS Essay Topics demands a combination of in-depth
knowledge, effective argumentation skills, and a high level of language proficiency. It's an
intricate task that requires careful preparation and attention to detail to meet the expectations of

2. How People Give Up Rights When Using an Airline
Many people modern day use airlines as a form of transportation. To be able to use
this service passengers must have their bags and personal belongings checked by
the airline. Airlines do this for the safety of their passengers and to ensure that no
catastrophe happens during flight. But when this is done are passengers giving up
their rights? Is it right for someone to go through your personal belongings? Or is
this procedure only for security reasons? What rights do airplane passengers give up
by allowing themselves to be checked before boarding?
When Someone travels with an airline they must have their baggage checked before
boarding the plane. Some people feel that this invades their privacy and that it is not
necessary. Why... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
3. The owner of the firearm must be at the screening or the item and provide the
combination or key to open the secure container containing the firearm. 4.ant and all
ammunition must be placed in fiber or packaging specifically designed to hold
ammunition. And 5. The ammunition must be in the same container as the unloaded
firearm. As long as when traveling with a firearm you follow all of these procedures
you can legally bring a gun with you while traveling with an airline. Once again
these rules might restrict your rights as an American citizen but they do NOT take
away your rights as an American citizen. And there is also rules with sharp objects
such as knives. The only rule that there is on these items is,1. It can not be in carry
on luggage and it must be securely wrapped to prevent injury. So once again it is
one hundred percent legal to bring a weapon with you while flying with an airline
service. Also if someone fells that having their baggage checked is taking away their
rights that is also not true. The FAA (a government run organization) enforces these
rules and regulations for the airline passengers safety and for no other reason except
for the passenger s safety. Also by having these rules enforced by the government they
can not possibly eliminate your rights as an American citizen (although they might
restrict them temporarily). And concerning the rule for having baggage checked, it is
up to the airlines to charge
3. Process Of Child Sexual Abuse
Childhood is a period in a person s life that is a time to learn through play and is
often regarded as carefree of any worries due to the innocent nature of children. .
However, some children are not as lucky to have joyful memories of childhood.
Many children are negatively impacted early in life by being sexually abused which
scars their path to adulthood, thus creating victimization and trauma (Burgess et al.
2013). Any sexual touching of children, also non touching such as showing, hearing,
or feeling anything sexual, is an offense defined as childsexual abuse ( Child Sexual
Abuse , 2017). According to Darkness to light.org (2017) more than 90% of abusers
who sexually abuse children are people children trust, know, and love. Informing...

The first thing that happens when abuse occurs to a child, the parent get in contact
with the police to report the incident. The police at some point need to make sure
the child gets medical attention to determine the extent of the abuse (The
Investigation Process of Child Sexual Abuse, 2017).The police then start to
interview the child to get information of what happened from the child s
perspective. Child sexual abuse cases can be complex because they take time to put
all the pieces of information together, which can easily cause an error during the
investigation. The interviewing process for children is difficult because the same
techniques that are used on adults are used for children as well. The interview then
becomes unpleasant and uncomfortable for the child confusing the child and putting
the case information at jeopardy because the child will not say much. Investigators
also interview anyone who has or had contact with the child victim before the
incident such as the parents and anyone else. Interviewing the child s father and
mother can support or deny any allegations that have been made by the child. The
interview with the victim s father and mother can help with gathering crucial
information about the case. After speaking with the mother, father, and child, the
alleged offender (if not mother or father) is the next to speak with police.
Investigators must take into consideration that an offender will try to make it seem
like the child is telling a lie and the allegations made are not true. On some
occasions an offender might admit to the allegations of the child. After speaking
with the offender, investigators have to determine if the child is still at risk for
being sexually abused again, and look out for the well being of the child. A child
abuse case can sometimes become resolved, but is never really closed due to the
impact is has on the child s

Customer Based Brand Equity for Global Brands: A Multinational Approach
Eda Atilgan Serkan Akinci Safak Aksoy Erdener Kaynak
ABSTRACT. Focusing on the dimensions and measurement, this study is based on
the concept of brand equity for global brands with empirical evidence from three
economically and culturally dissimilar countries USA, Turkey, and Russia. The
brand equity for global brands can be measured under four basic dimensions:
perceived quality, brand loyalty, brand associations, and brand trust. Emergence of
brand trust as a new dimension instead of brand awareness complies ... Show more

Although it is apparent that customer based brand equity has multiple dimensions,
there is no general agreement in current marketing literature as to the nature and
content of these dimensions. Previous research has proposed two (e.g., Faircloth,
Capella, Alford, 2001; Keller, 1993), three (e.g., Han Collins, 2002; Netemeyer et al.,
2004), four (e.g., Aaker, 1991; Yoo et al., 2000), п¬
Ѓve (e.g., Lassar, Mittal, Sharma,
1995), and even eight (e.g., Vazquez, Del Rio, Iglesias, 2002) dimensions. However,
many of these brand equity dimensions have not been systematically measured or
validated within a nomological framework (Netemeyer et al., 2004). For example, the
existence and function of trust have not been fully investigated within the context of
brand equity. On the globalization front, branding has received increasing attention
from marketing academicians. The two prominent reasons for this are increased cross
border population mobility and electronic mobility, both of which
contributed to faster transfer of ideas and a global convergence in consumer tastes
and values (Quelch, 1999). Global brands, as defined by Aaker and Joachimsthaler
(1999), are those brands whose positioning, advertising strategy, personality, look,
and feel are in most respects the same from one country to another. Reviewing the top
10 global brands, Quelch identified
5. Alexis De Tocqueville Research Paper
Ch.10: May 12, 1831 Alexis De Tocqueville and Gustave de Beaumont arrived in
New York. Tocqueville s judgements in America were the wages are higher and
the cost of living was lower than in Europe. In his perspective, America was
undifferentiated middle class society. The U.S rate of population growth was high
doubling every 22 years. In the west, five new states entered the Union in 1830s and
1840s. Population movement from farm to cities increased the growth in large cities
that made new towns in the Northeast and Northwest. The Growth of cities
undermined the family as a unit of economic production. Husbands were away from
the house during work hours and the wife took control of the home. However, in the
lower class women had to work also.

My Abuela One of my favorite people in the whole all world is my Abuela ( my

kind and nice and supports me on whatever I do. My Abuela is 74 and is still lifting
weights and working out! She has black hair and brown eyes and always wearing
something fancy, she has white skin and always has glossy makeup on last of. She
loves tennis and is good at it. She just retired last year from being a nurse. Her jokes

7. The American Collegiate System
Right now in the American collegiate system, we are experiencing serious problems
in the rate of graduation between students in higher and lower income quartiles. The
purpose of Tough s article is to not only present this issue to a larger audience, but to
show that there are practical solutions colleges could be taking to narrow this gap.
Tough is writingspecifically regarding Texas A M because through David Laude
and David Yeager s Tip program they are having stunning success in evening out
the playing field for less advantaged students. This essay is important because to
solve this issue on a larger scale it is imperative that people become aware of it, and
understand that there are steps we can take to reverse it. This essay was... Show more

Another example of this is when Tough introduces Laude and Yeager, Tough uses
them as transitional points in the text, but also he uses their work as potential
solutions to the problem he is presenting.
This style of transition would be fine if executed correctly. However, the way in
which Tough organized these transitions pulls the readerback and forth between
different subjects, at times losing the focus of the article, and making it easy for the
reader to get lost within the text.
Another problem readers may face is the style of Tough s writing, mainly due to his
tendency to ramble, and his disposition for redundancy. [example] Tough did a
great job at supporting his argument with the statistics he presented. However, often
times the statistics but this unnecessary information took away the conciseness of
the article, and causes his main points to have less of an impact then they could
have. One potential area that could pose big problems for someone reading this is
overall length of this article. Length is not generally an issue because readers tend
to develop their own strategies when dealing with a long read, either by reading in
chunks, or reading it all in one go, readers still have the capacity to finish what they
are assigned. However, the redundancy of the text, makes this
8. Unit 2 Scene 1 Preliminary Investigation
Scene One: Preliminary Investigation Secure Scene and Assist Victim Due the
victim being dead, the first step I would take in this case is a perimeter search. I
would probably secure a larger area than I need because I can always shrink the
perimeter once I begin processing. The second step I would do is once I found the
perimeter, I would secure that boundary. And add police officers in various sides
on the outside of the perimeter to help keep people away and sabotaging any
evidence. In my head, I would do a walk though of the scene to determine the
possible strategy or motive. Preliminary Interview Focus The first people I would
question would be the group that discovered the body. I would interview them
separate and keep them separate, to get the most accurate statements. I would either
keep them in separate rooms, or keep them far away from one another in which they
cannot hear each other and get influenced on what to say. I... Show more content on

Which means that they weren t very careful, and or didn t know what they were
doing. I say this because whoever the perpetrator is was not very careful of what
he was doing or leaving behind. For example, The uniform officers discovered a
cell phone and set of keys in some deep grass about 10 yards from the body. The
keys have trace blood and a strand of black hairs clinging to them. It seems like
they were in rush to dump the body and leave or were afraid and wants to rush off
the scene. Despite whatever the case maybe I believe there were two perpetrators
because there is no sign of struggle or dragging of the victim which mean she was
carried and placed. The two sets of footprint also give me a general state of mind
that my theory might be right. The killer had his fun play before killing the victim, I
believe that there was some type of assault. The gun shot had partially blackened
residue which leads me to believe that it was a close range gunshot
9. Sexual Risk-Taking Behavior
The first risk factor is contextual factor, such as socioeconomic status and poverty,
family and peer factors. The study showed that the percentage of sexually active
young adolescents is higher in low income areas of inner cities (Morrison Beedy
others, 2013). A recent study revealed that neighborhood poverty concentrations
predicted 15 to 17 year old girls and boys sexual initiation (Cubbin others, 2010).
Children from low income families are more likely to fall into the bad habits because
they are lack of discipline from parents who are busy making a live. The second one
is familyfactors. The family connectedness and parent adolescent communication
about sexuality can predict the sexual outcome. A study shows that sexual risk taking
behavior was more likely to occur in girls living in single parent homes (Hipwell
others, 2011).... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The third one is the peer and school factors. A recent study found that adolescents
who associated with more deviant peers in early adolescence were likely to have
more sexual partners at age 16 (Lansford others, 2010). It is easier for adolescence
to learn bad behaviors from peers, along with they are at the age with lower self
control. School connectedness and better academic achievement are both protective
factor in keeping adolescence from early sexual initiation. The fourth factors are
cognitive and personality factors. A study showed that the attention problems and
high rates of aggressive disruptive behavior at school entry increased the risk of
multiple problem behaviors in middle school, which in turn was linked to early
initiation of sexual activity (Schofi eld others,

Being able to understand how people from different cultures and religions
communicate, interact, and perceive the environment around them allows for the
formation of important guidelines and practices which help combat and avoid anxiety
and uncertainty in government, business, and personal intercultural relationships for
the purpose of efficient negotiations and merges different cultures into more tolerant
cohesive existence. It is imperative that these same principles are utilized when
communicating to cultural groups other than our own because people from different
cultures encode and decode messages and meaning differently. Because of this, what
is acceptable to one is not necessarily acceptable by the other especially if they base
their practices on their own judgments and ideas and communicate disregarding the
judgments and ideas of any other culture. Ignorance can lead to devastating and
damaging assumptions in terms of building intercultural relationships when one

11. Richard II Foil
In Richard II, Richard is raised as to be a young, poetic, and immature king. He
enjoys the luxuries of being King, but does not connect with his ruling land and its
people. Richard is a young king who possesses little to no experience, for he
believes that he is God s representative on Earth and states in Act Three that nothing
will be able to take his crown. When threatened by Bolingbroke and his army, Richard
assumes that the Lord will protect him throughout his battles and does not do
anything in order to defend himself. Richard II bathes himself in the finest things a
king can buy, whether that is clothes, food, or the ability to surround himself with
people who only tell him what he wants to hear. Consequently, Richard completely
loses any connection with his country. Richard s does not have his country and its

Bolingbroke is wise, realistic, and mature. He strongly enters the play by accusing
Mowbray of treason and even challenging him to a duel. Even when his inheritance
has been stolen and has been banished by his own family member, Bolingbroke is
quick to act and recover. He rapidly assembles an army, gains support, and invades
England to take back what was rightfully his, even though he never actually states
that he wants to claim the crown. In fact, in Act 2, Bolingbroke acknowledges that
he was rightfully convicted of treason by Richard II and that it would be wrong to
return to England before the term of his banishment had been served. However,
since his father s death left Bolingbroke with the position of the Duke of Lancaster,
he has a responsibility to serve and protect his people. Bolingbroke s pure ambition
for justice and prosperity for his people leads him to conquer Richard II and secure
the throne as king. The two conflicting and complete opposite personalities of
Richard II and Bolingbroke drive the plot and predict their

14. Summary Of Saturn Devouring His Son
The devastatingly gruesome painting of Saturn Devouring His Son by Francisco de
Goya surprisingly has more connection to the nursing world than what first meets
the eye. Created between 1819 through 1823, the painting s legend stems from
Greek mythology (Goya, 1970). Saturn, also known as Cronus, was the almighty
Greek titan who had come to power by taking over his father before him. Saturn
feared his children would one day try to overcome him so he devoured them all. The
legend goes on to tell how one of his sons Zeus survived to one day free his other
siblings. This disturbing legend and painting connects to nurses bullyingeach other.
This dark aspect of nursing needs to be brought to the light and only then can change
be made. Jay Scott Morgan s interpretation of the painting focuses in on the
relationship of Saturn and his son. The painting Saturn Devouring His Sonwas once
seen as a symbol of evil, a Satan, a monster (Morgan). Morgan chose to focus on
the relationships of the son and the father rather than the evil image of Saturn. He
made the connection to Goya s twisted relationship with his son and Goya s
painting; revealing jealousy is what causes a father to hate his son. Morgan
interprets the painting as a story of fathers and sons (Morgan, n.d). He even makes
connections to other western tales such as Abraham agreeing to his son to be
sacrificed on Mount Moriah to depict the father son struggle. In both stories the father
ends his son s life, whether
15. The Impact of Education on the Renaissance Essay
The gigantic effect that education had on Renaissance society was greatly stimulated
by the new development of humanism. Humanism was responsible for the curiosity
of many intellects during the Renaissance, which ultimately led to the discoveries
and developments that made the Renaissance such a remarkable time. It proposed a
different way of thinking, unprecedented by scholars. Without humanismand the
educational interest that it brought about, the Renaissancewould not be known as the
explosion of culture that it is considered today. Humanistic belief that ?the church

(Renaissance ? Science in the Renaissance) which led to the monumental change in
art from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance. These mathematical studies are
responsible for the famous artwork of Michelangelo and Leonardo, without which
the Renaissance would be much less admired by today?s society. The use of depth
and perspective, paramount techniques in the art of the Renaissance and of later
years, were brought about by the educational studies by artists ? studies that had not
been done by artists of previous times (Renaissance ? Science in the Renaissance).
Also influenced by an increase in education and humanistic beliefs were the
impressive new inventions that came about during the Renaissance. Today?s society
owes one of the most important inventions of all time, the printing press, to an
increase in education during the Renaissance times. The better education that came
about during the Renaissance led to more curiosity and experimentation that brought
many ideas into society and allowed for more creativity and inventions. These
creations, such as the compass, led to the exploration of the world by navigators and
explorers such as Columbus (Renaissance ? Science in the Renaissance). Ultimately,
educational expansion led to the discovery of North America by the Europeans.
The humanistic thought that scientific discoveries should be backed up by
substantial evidence brought about many firm theories
16. Summary Of The Syrian Refugee Crisis
Saul s article recognizes that the Syrian refugee crisis exists amidst citizen
sponsorship, Aboriginal judgement, and disorder within EU countries immigrant
policies. According to Saul, democracy in Canadian politics grants citizenship to
immigrants without any obstacles. Canada s immigration policies are transparent
because they are balanced with civic participation. Saul thinks that multiculturalism is
a forceful catalyst towards establishing equality and integrity for the refugees. In the
first point, Saul does not agree that refugees should be privately sponsored and
assisted by the government. In the second point, Saul indicates that Canadas national
identity is the product of the encounter between the Aboriginals and European
settlers, which has resulted in citizenship. By entering the Inuit circle, immigrants can
establish themselves as a strong unit not by having roots outside Canada, but by
living with Canadian intellect. The immigrants should mold to nature because this is
the way the Aboriginals have defined their understandings of life. As Sifton has
noted, the ... government ... made presentations ... to potential immigrants, presenting

In an attempt to answer this question, the translinear principle (Gilbert, 1990) has
been used to realize a digital inverter circuit (Kemp, 1983, 1984) a bistable element
(Seevinck, 1978) and NOT/OR/NAND/XOR functions (M., 2003) . All the
realizations of logic gates in current mode reported in references (Kemp, 1983, 1984;
Seevinck, 1978; M., 2003) use bipolar technology.
In this paper, we present such an approach, a low Voltage CMOS analog digital
circuit in current mode where it works with a supply voltage of VDD= VSS=2V.
The circuit is based on the four quadrant CMOS analog multiplier (Ali et al., 2009).
POWER SERIES REPRESENTATION OF LOGIC FUNCTIONS
Using their truth tables, it is easy to show that the input output relations of the basic
digital logic function can be expressed as (Enab and Zaki, 1993):
Z= 1 Ix (1)
for the NOT operation,
Z= Ix*Iy (2)
for the AND operation,
Z= Ix + Iy Ix*Iy (3)
for the OR operation,
Z= 1 Ix*Iy (4) for the NAND operation, and
Z= Ix + Iy 2Ix*Iy(5)
for the XOR operation.

Why genomic rearrangements are important for lymphocyte function.
Introduction
Through a series of steps called the immune response, the body s immune system
attacks invading disease causing organisms and substances. The cells involved in this
immune response are called leukocytes. Leukocytes are produced and stored in the
thymus, spleen, and bone marrow (lymphoid organs). There is also lymphoid tissue
throughout the body that houses leukocytes (lymph nodes). The leukocytes circulate
through the body between the organs and nodes via lymphatic vessels and blood
vessels.
Lymphocytes are a type of leukocyte. The two kinds of lymphocytes are B

The main problem with chromosome instability produced by these breaks is the
susceptibility to translocations and thus oncogene activation.
Translocations can cause strong transcriptional factors to be moved close to a target
oncogene which will increase its expression. Or, they can result in the creation of a
fusion gene that encodes a novel oncogenic protein.
Oncogenes can also be activated by the amplication of proto oncogenes. Gene
amplification is an increase in the cellular copy number of a gene or genomic region
relative to the rest of the genome. An amplication in a proto oncogene would cause

In addition to translocations and gene amplifications, deletions can occur and also

23. Why Was The Anzac Day Important In Australia
Why is the Anzac legend important for future generations?
It was a remarkable day and a day in which it was easy to pick out the wasters, also
the brave men. I am delighted with our Australian troops, the way they take the gruel
is splendid.
(T. J. Richards https://www.theage.com.au/articles/2004/04/17/1082140118215.html )
ANZAC day is a very special and important day to Australians. It is a day where we
honour and remember the soldiers who fought and died for our country. It is also a
day where we come together and appreciate our freedom and reflect back on how far
Australia has come since WWI. Most importantly, it is a day to reflect on the spirit
of the ANZACs. I believe that the ANZAC legend is important for future generations

During the 19th century, Australia s first involvement in the great war in 1915,
meant changes to lives of people from all walks of life, out on the battlefields and
even back home, in Australia. The impact on ultimately all aspect of Australian
society, however, did not end when the guns fell silent in November 1918. Instead,
it was continued for years, when the tens of thousands of soldiers returned with
their problems because of the war which it effects on Australian life seem much
more apparent. The war s impact in Australia, in terms of food, was generally its
increase in price by 32% between 1914 and 1918, which was very low compared to
other European countries, where there was also rationing, because of food
shortages. WW1 also impacted them by the effected the put towards the war and to
see people to know who they were. Without WW1 we probably won t be here today
under a roof with our phones and TVs we have today.
To all Australians, ANZAC day is a tradition, paid for in blood and celebrated in
our freedom. It is a day in which not only do we salute the ANZACs, but in paying
tribute to them, we also take the opportunity to invigorate our national spirit and
pride. Ever since WW1 Australia has had more freedom then they did back in
1913. One of the main reasons why many soldiers sign up to go to the war was to
get more freedom and to be able to make their own choices. Thanks to the soldiers,
today Australia
24. Poor Compliance Essay
The issue and impact of poor compliance grow with the ageing of the world
population. Compliance to long term therapy for chronic illnesses in developed
countries averages 50%. In developing countries, the rates are even lower . Poor
compliance to long term therapies severely compromises the effectiveness of
treatment, making this a critical issue in population healthboth from the perspective of
quality of life and of health economics. Studies consistently find significant cost
savings and increases in the effectiveness of health interventions that are attributable
to low cost interventions for improving compliance. Compliance is an important
modifier of health system effectiveness.

Clinicians now learn how to ask about medication compliance (using nonjudgmental
questions followed by open ended questions, e.g. Many people find it hard to take all

Also pharmacists have several tools at their disposal to identify noncompliance
problems early and implement corrective action. The traditional pharmacistsВґ brown
bag review with the elders on all their medicines (prescription and other medicines,
e.g. over the counter medications) is an effective way to start a dialogue with the
patient using show and tell method (pharmacists remove items from the bag, shaking

The 5th wave by Rick Yancey opens after aliens have invaded and attacked earth.
First, an electromagnetic pulse cut of all electricity; then, massive tsunamis wiped out

the aliens infiltrated the earth, and the few remaining humans can t trust anyone.
I haven t read many sci fi books, so while going into it, I didn t know what to

Armed with sarcasm and a dry sense of humour, Cassie says everything we wished
we had the guts to say. She is alone in the wilderness and is driven by a promise she
made to her little brother Sammy and that is what makes her so effortless to
like. The way that Cassie describes her family being torn apart made me hold back
tears. She is strong willed and emotionally loving. She is a girl who has had to
grow up in order to stay alive. However, there are times when Cassie lets her guard
down and you remember that she is just a teenager.
Cassie is not our only narrator. The 5th Waveis written in multiple points of views.
We get to hear the invasion through Ben Parish, a high school jock who has lost
everything and who Cassie had a massive crush on. While I enjoyed Cassie s
chapters, I found myself looking forward to and enjoying immensely Ben s part of
the story. Ben is funny, relatable and extremely likable. His character arc was
intriguing and the way he is desperate, but still determined to keep his promises this
time, and to not run from his fears makes him a very real character. His point of view
was phenomenally compelling and
26. People V. Fllanegan Case
The first witness who will testify for the prosecution is Officer Bobby Flanegan.
This witness will demonstrate that the warrantless search of the defendant s
apartment and backyard was proper. Officer Flanegan will also provide evidence
to show that exigent circumstances were present, such as the possibility of a
weapon in the possession of the defendant. For example, there was a possibility
that gravity knife was in Kelly Robert s possession at the corner of Chippewa and
Franklin. Officer Flanegan will also provide evidence the seizure of the pills in the

The biggest problem is whether or not the defendant give the officers consent to
search her apartment and backyard. This is because Kelly Roberts did not directly
give Officer Flanegan consent to search, as she stated that she is not answering any
questions because the officers would probably do whatever they wanted to do with
or without her permission. The law also propounds this doctrine. People v. Gonzalez
states that consent to search is truly voluntary. Therefore, arguably, the warrantless
search was not justified. Furthermore, another obstacle is Leslie Mooney, since she
has a lot of bias. Her son, Larry, experienced a drug overdose because of the
defendant. As can be seen, Mooney has bias and is even testifying for the defense to
get Kelly Roberts off the streets. Moreover, the weather produces a problem for the
prosecution too. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)
stated that there was significant rainfall starting at approximately 5:00 P.M., but the
search was conducted before 2:30 P.M., which left time for the prosecution to get a

The Little, Big Village of Perrinton Michigan
Migrating from one place to another is never easy, especially when the overall
experience and change is so drastic. Looking out the window and having everything
change can be scary. For example, when I was just a lad, about eleven years old, I
moved from the great big city of Athens, Georgia, to the little, big village called
Perrinton, Michigan. Although it was very scary at first and I did not like the big
change; I did not like the location, or the smell, or the fact that everyone called soda
pop , or the fact that I had to beg my parents to drive so long in order to get
anywhere. I eventually came to love being in the quietness and contentment the
countryside gave me. From the research I have come across, it is quite apparent to
me, that Perrinton has had many fans since day one. Welcoming people from all
over, year after year with its festivals, a school, and little businesses. Many
businesses started up and plenty of businesses burned down. Like many other small
villages, Perrinton developed during time, and with time many things happened.
Perrinton has seen many changes over the years to make it the village it is today.
Perrinton was one of the many villages to initiate with only a little bit of land, a
purpose and a goal. Perrinton was built in 1886 in the Gratiot County area. Oddly
enough, Perrinton is not the original name of the small village. The original name is

INTRODUCTION
Considered a duo theistic religious movement, the Wicca was developed in England
during the first half of the 20th century and was introduced to the public in 1954 by
Gerald Gardner, a retired British civil servant. Wicca draws upon a diverse set of
ancient pagan and 20th century hermetic motifs for its theological structure and ritual
practice. The dual aspect of said movement is represented by the feminine and
masculine essences subject to it; these essences are commonly referred to by Wiccans
as the God and the Goddess, father heaven and Mother earth respectively.

Many people are under the impression that Wiccans use black magic or worship
demons, not being this the case at all. At its core, Wicca is very much a neo pagan
religion. It is built on the ideas of the old pagan religions that died around the time
when Christianity became popular. The Wiccan concept of black magic is not
summoning demons or performing black masses, on the contrary, many Wiccans
would simply call it negative magic considering it any spell that hurts someone else,
or attempted to help someone against their will. In spite of what many think, Wiccans
seek to cultivate a set of eight virtues mentioned in Doreen Valiente s Charge of the
Goddess, these being mirth, reverence, honor, humility, strength, beauty, power, and
compassion. In Valiente s poem, they are ordered in pairs of complementary
opposites, reflecting a dualism that is common throughout Wiccan
29. Hebrew Wisdom Essay
Found in The Old Testament of the Holy Bible is a variety of teaching of Hebrew
wisdom. I find Proverbs and Ecclesiastes to lend much instruction to the subject of
diligence and laziness. The Hebrew teaching is quick to point out that diligence
leads to wisdom and laziness is folly. Choices in life and sinful behavior ends up in
disastrous circumstances. In the essence of (The Essence of the Old Testament)
Hebrew wisdom literature teaches us how to make good decisions in life, but also
how to make godly decisions. This essay will explore how the Hebrew wisdom
teaches the repercussions of living wise and diligent verses living lazy and excluding
God.
The Bible offers an abundance of teachings that enlighten us to the value of
diligence verses the pitfalls of laziness. All too often we see people who are either
looking for an easy contribution or, a way to better their current circumstances.
The goal is to show and help the ones who have a sense of desire to contribute to
society and afford them the opportunity to prosper. Definition of diligence is
careful and continued hard work much like the Ant. Notice, none of them have
defined leaders, all of them live in colonies, have separation of labor, and collect and
store up food for those long days. They can also carry 10 50 times its weight.
Laziness is described as a person who is a slothful or indolent. (Proverbs 6:6 NSV)
teaches us Go to the ant, you lazy man! Observe its ways and become wise .

a child health nurse must also provide care that meets the National Competency

standards for the nurse to be aware of there may be confusion in interpretation of
these standards. Published in NSW were the Competency Standards for Child and
Family Health Nurses to provide a guide for practice and to help the nurse evaluate
the care they provide (Competency Standards for Child and Family Health Nurses

essential for the Paediatric and Child health nurse to be familiar with the relevant

Enhancing a cloud based network could mean to make the network faster, safer,
efficient, cost effective and user friendly. The aim of this report is to discuss the
methods and techniques of trying to improve a cloud based network and what this
could mean. The outcome of the project being implemented will be to simulate a
cloud based campus network with optimum performance which then reflects its
results in charts and graphs making comparisons with one another. A variety of
aspects will be explored prior to simulating the network such as current
technologies, new protocols, servers, data centres, testing and availability.
Furthermore material on the software Opnet also known as Riverbed will be
provided because this will be used to simulate the final product. The purpose of the
project is to provide an insight into current matters which is then followed by
creating a cloud based network that is reliable, efficient, cost friendly and safe to
use for a university campus to utilise. Review of Literature Performance Problems
How They are Measured The literature within this report has been gathered using a
variety of sources such as websites, academic journals, eBooks and reports. When it
comes to cloud computing there are some major risks including security 87.5%,
availability 83.3% and performance 82.9% according to Kopp (2011). These are high
priority aspects when initially moving to cloud, however

to name a few. When compared with its competitors, AOL s pricing structure was the
easiest for customers to understand and enabled them to anticipate their spending. A
monthly fee of $9.95 with each additional hour costing $2.50 provided access to all
AOL services including the premium services for five hours with no additional

the greater meaning of life by him closing his eyes and drawing a cathedral with
Robert. This moment is a further showing of the narrator s change, in the beginning
he was bitter towards Robert due to his bias against blindness, but this moment
allows him to understand Robert and show change. The ending of the Cathedral
does not exactly show what happens after the events that unfolded. The Cathedral
doesn t show what the narrator has accomplished towards the ending, but does
show a spark of change within him. As the narrator keeps his eyes closed even
after Robert tells him to open them this further explains what the narrator is
experiencing. The narrator s meeting with Robert allowed him to listen for once
and develop a sense of compassion for the blind and eliminate his bias. The
narrator also loses his sense of jealousy for Robert, as he was jealous of Robert
since he was so close to his wife. Since the narrator really didn t know his wife he
developed insecurities within himself and any situation that deals with her that can
be seen when the narrator as he just categorizes Robert as another person apart of
her past. When he leaves his eyes closed this allows the narrator to truly see as he
was blind to compassion and what the world was really made of. It allowed him to

condoning such a monopoly by limiting gaming casinos to Native Americans, or at

37. Persuasive Essay On Animal Testing
Just in the United States, it is estimated that just over twenty five million animals are
used each year for animal research. These animals range anywhere from mice and
rabbits to farm animals, those such as sheep, pigs and even dogs and cats. Once an
experiment is done, the animal is either euthanized or used for additional
experiments. Animal research is morally wrong because these animals go through
inhumane procedures, it leaves the animal diseased, exhausted and may even lead the
animals to death.
Animal research is the process of forcing animals to go through experiments for the
benefits of humans. During these numerous procedures, the animals have to suffer
through injections, being exposed to radiation, inhaling gasses that may be toxic, and
even having their organs taken out. The animals can have their skin burned and their
brain damaged from tests that require them to have electrodes planted on the brain.
All these procedures are painful and are used for biomedical research, cosmetics and
products such as household products, and science education. Cosmetic and household
brands that use animal testing include MAC, Windex, Vicks, and many more. You can

Immigration began late for the Italian population. With the main period of
immigration coming in the late 19th century, Italians were already several steps
behind the Irish, German, and French immigrants (Nelli 38). This proved to be
detrimental to the Italians as the previous immigrants had already stitched themselves
to the flag producing a resolute hatred for incoming immigrants, one of which was
Salvatore Rossi. Having fled Italyin 1897 due to economic hardship, he pursued the
American Dream in New York, by obtaining an education and landing an uncommon

With the new taxes implemented, the Rossi family farm was required to give up
35% of their meager gains from the farm. This implementation harmed the family
much more than anticipated. These taxes and discriminatory policies toward
southern Italians entirety made the decision to immigrate to the United States much
more appealing. Salvatore and his Father were the first to voyage across the
Atlantic, leaving Maria and Angelo home until Salvatore and Franco had amassed
enough funds to bring them over as well. This course of action was common for
Italian immigrants at the time as they often arrived in America with less than $25 in
their pockets. The travel over the Atlantic was anything but inviting. Salvatore and
Franco were just two of over 200,000 that had emigrated to the U.S. from Italy in

41. The Civil War And The American War Essay
The war with the most death of Americans was not the World Wars, Cold War,
Vietnam War or Korean War, but the Civil War. The Civil War is one of the most
monumental moments in the United States that threaten the stability of the Union.
The United States was split into two opposing sides, the Union and the Confederates,
with opposing ideas; Americans pinned against one another in combat for their ideals
and goals. The Civil War has multiple causes, but the most renowned reason was the
abolishment of slavery. With the conclusion of the Civil War and the defeat of the
Confederates, many efforts were made to establish the freedom of the slaves, such
as the Thirteenth Amendment of the Constitution, and the status of freedman.
However, with the discontent that was harbored in the former Confederates, white
southerners [tried to] reestablished civil authority in the former Confederate states
in 1865 and 1866 ; this thus led to the creation of the Black Codes ( Black Codes.
History.com). The white southerners tried to regain control over freed slaves,
acquire cheap labor and establish white supremacy through the Black Codes. The
Black Code was mocking the efforts of the civil war since it recognized and limited
the rights established in the civil war for the freed slaves, and recreated the slave
like working environment before the civil war.
Looking closely at the Black Codes, it was compiled with numerous laws that either
granted or restricted the rights of the freed slaves.

known as Scientific Racism. Scientific Racism is the belief that racism is justified
by scientific bases, which gives people confidence that it is proper to discriminate
others (usually based on their race, religion, or beliefs), even though it is not
appropriate (Oxford Dictionary). This belief is actually pseudoscientific.
Pseudoscience is any of various methods, theories, or systems, such as astrology,
psychokinesis, or clairvoyance, which are considered as having no scientific basis.

Hitler gathered thousands of Germans and brainwashed them into believing that
Jews were bad and they needed to make a super race. ...Hitler s adviser in the early
stage of his entry into politics, who said that no people would have left the Jews
alive if they had known what the Jews true nature was and what goals they had set
themselves. (Paragraph 47 Racism ). This is a preposterous statement because the
Jews had no true nature besides every other human (To live a happy healthy life).
Statements like this are how Adolf Hitler and his advisors brainwashed people into
believing that the Jews were terrible people. This is a very relatable statement to
the novel To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. Throughout this novel there is
discrimination of blacks solely based on the color of their skin. People believed
they were, stupid, and were criminals. Don t see how any jury could convict on
what we hear (Page 238 To Kill a Mockingbird) Judge Taylor was polling the jury:
Guilt... guilty... guilty... guilty... (Page 240 To Kill a Mockingbird). Although all the
proof showed that Tom Robinson was innocent, due to his black skin and the white
skin of the defendant he pleaded guilty. This is a great example of how just because
of his race, like the Jews in the Holocaust, he was convicted unrightfully.
Discrimination like this prohibits these people from having access to the same social
equality that people who are not being discriminated against
45. Character Analysis Of King Loar s King Lear
Audiences love knowing who is the villain of a story. There s a certain power in
seeing something not visible to the other characters, recognizing a seed of hatred
blooming behind the scenes. It brings a sense of satisfaction, actively rooting against
the antagonist so that the hero can win. Seeing the difference between good and bad
isn t easy in real life, but in a fictional world all of the rules change, and the audience
knows the truth. In King Lear, Goneril and Regan, daughters to the king, are almost
immediately cemented into the role of antagonists due to characters reactions to
them and insider knowledge the audience gains when listening to their private
talks. However, we only make this leap because certain characters in the play want
us to. But what if those characters are wrong? Maybe the world of the play already
believes Goneril and Regan are the villains, but as an outside audience we have the
option to give the sisters a chance to prove themselves. Looking at their actions,
listening to their words, nothing about the two sisters implies that they re
bloodthirsty or traitors to their family. Instead, Regan and Goneril instead seem to
be protecting themselves from an unloving and possibly abusive father. In the first
scene of the play, Goneril, Regan, and Cordelia must tell their dad how much they
love him in order to receive their inheritance. Goneril and Regan flatter their dad
extensively, but Cordelia refuses to speak because her love is too great to put
