These two paintings are the Last Judgment and the Sistine Chapel ceiling. The

In the story, Cathedral written by Raymond Carver, a wife, a husband, and a blind
man, known as Robert, come together and interact with each other. The narrator was
disturbed with the thought of having Robert in his home, especially since he is a
stranger to the narrator. The narrator believes in the falsifications of blind people
from the movies and therefore, judges the blind man (1) prior to his arrival. His
judgment shows that he thinks of Robert on a highly shallow level, which

During World War 1, propaganda played a critical role on a global scale,
persuading people to volunteer by putting effort to the war. Propaganda techniques
were used for several purposes, in forms of posters, advertising, newspapers,
speeches, photographs, rumours, cinema and music. These purposes were to obtain
power for the battles of the war, to obtain money for financing the war, to encourage
nationalistic feelings of their country to help in the war, and to justify the reason for
why the countries were involved in the war so that the people don t rebel against the
war.
Propaganda, as defined by the Merriam Webster Dictionary, is the spreading of
ideas, information, or rumor for the purpose of helping or injuring an institution, a
cause, or a person. The use of propaganda became very popular and successful in
countries, such as Great Britain, Germany, and the U.S.A. It also proved that
America was the largest producer of pro war propaganda in the world. Propaganda
posters were used commonly to encourage people to join and to make a difference.

The former risk arises from world commodity market for the supplies of coffee, cocoa

Once, when I was in highschool, I heard about the infamous potato assignment that
some nameless teachers handed out to their students, and I found myself
intrigued. At that time I was a passionate writer who loved overanalyzing the small
details of what I was writing (as I still am today), so such an assignment was
perfectly tailored to my interests. It was the embodiment of everything that most
non hobbyist writers hated and that I loved, and an opportunity for me to stand out
among a crowd of less than average performances. Today, when reading what was
supposed to be one of those average essays, I realized that being able to accurately
sketch and describe every last detail of a potatodoes not make for an engaging paper.
