Our media products use several conventions of real music products to provide familiarity to audiences. Our advertisement includes the standard title, date, and artist name seen in music ads. The central image on the ad matches that of the digipak cover. The digipak follows conventions for the track list and label info on the back, and band/album names on the front. While our music video includes elements of rock music videos like the band playing, it challenges conventions by including a plot, which is more common for alternative genres to seem right for our mixed rock/alternative audience.
