feedback?

    write down any comments on the video and what
    we may do to improve it. The majority said that
    the video quality could have been better and the
    artist voice could have been better. They thought
    the artist has an effect on the video as if the artist
    is not appealing , the audience may be put off to
    watch the video.

  • 1. What have you learned from the audience feedback?
  • 2. ๏‚ก As a group we thought the video was The audience feedback that we had aimed around the age range of 12-15, received was very helpful. It enabled us and mostly to girls. We uploaded the to connect withour target audience and video onto you tube and had also understand them. It allowed us to try promoted it on face book on each of and improve our work and makeit to our profiles. We also made a the best of our abilities questionnaire for some of the target audience at a primary school and told them to fill out an questionnaire.
  • 3. 67% - yes 23% - no After watching the first part of video , did it make you want to Most of the no response is because carry on watching the video? they thought there wasnโ€™t enough colour to catch their attention , which was quite reasonable as the title background was black. However the Yes ones that said yes were quite keen on No knowing what is next in the video so they said they would have carried on watching it. As it also follows codes and conventions of a typical pop video, the audience was drawn to watch it.
  • 4. Did you like the video? 73% -yes 27% - no 73% found it appealing and Yes interesting to watch as they wanted to No see what Leyton went through mainly , 27 thought the video quality could have been better and the voice could have been better as it put them off from watching it. It was pretty harsh to hear but it was the truth.
  • 5. 47% -yes After watching the 53% - no video, would you go buy the single? Although most the audience we questionairred liked the video , majority of them wouldnโ€™t go personally buy the single as they Yes didnโ€™t like the singing and was No not โ€˜their type of musicโ€™ , however 47% would go buy the single as the beat was quite catchy.
  • 6. Most the noโ€™s thought it was Does the video fit into the because there was no dance or a pop/soul genre? female in the video. It put the audience off because there was not enough energy in the video . This maybe made the audience get bored of the video. However the yes majority thought guessed it was a pop/ soul video , and some RnB no , and the reason being was because the artist was black. This shows that audience may stereotype the artist according to race and what he wears.
  • 7. ๏‚ก The last question on the questionnaire was to write down any comments on the video and what we may do to improve it. The majority said that the video quality could have been better and the artist voice could have been better. They thought the artist has an effect on the video as if the artist is not appealing , the audience may be put off to watch the video.
