WHAT IS QUANTUM COMPUTER
The Quantum computer is a device that is built on the basis of the
quantum mechanics
It is very different from a normal computer because it has the unique
features when compared to the classical computer
To understand Quantum computer we should have a little knowledge on
the Quantum mechanics
The Quantum mechanics/physics is the branch of physics in which
Newtonian laws does not work any more. It is purely based on the
quantum particles, the particles which are very small like electrons or
photon. The photon is the particle of light which can be travelled as a
particle and also wave here many of the physics laws fail.
How it is different from classical computer
Instead of the bits in classical computer the Quantum computer uses
Quantum bits also called as Qu-bits.
The classical logical bit is represented by binary logic based on either logical
high and logical low. Logical high corresponds to binary '1' and logical low
corresponds to binary '0' respectively.
This makes the possibility of 0 and 1 is 50% each.
The Qubit will be in a superposition of the 0 and 1 this makes qubit can be
in any probability of getting 0 to 1.

The Origin of Quantum Computer
Quantum superposition
The idea of the quantum computer begin with a paper by Richard Feynman in
1982
and later the scientists such as Deutsch, Shor and Grover gave contribution in
algorithms
Today this was biggest achievement and many of the computer scientists are
working under a quantum computer
The superposition of a particle in quantum mechanics can be explained as
the particle can be both in spin up and spin down state at same time
WHAT ARE QUANTUM CIRCUITS
The quantum circuits are similar to the circuits which perform the
operations using quantum logic gates
We have AND, NOT, OR, NOR, NAND and XOR gates in classical computer
where as in quantum computing we have H/HADAMARD, PHASE SHIFT,
SWAP, PAULI X, PAULI Y, PAULI Z and etc which can perform similar kind
of operations.

The qubit can be in superposition, this makes the quantum computer to
make calculations faster than a classical computer
If we consider a maze where a computer and a quantum computer are to run
a algorithm
The classical computer end up losing each possibility and starting from start
Where a quantum computer checks out all possibilities at a time by splitting

DISADVANTAGES OF QUANTUM COMPUTING
• The main disadvantage of computing is the technology required to
implement a quantum computer is not available at present. The reason
for this is the consistent electron is damaged as soon as it is affected by
its environment and that electron is very much essential for the
functioning of quantum computers.
• The research for this problem is still continuing the effort applied to
identify a solution for this problem has no positive progress.
• It cannot store the data we need to have the classical bits to store
information.
CONCLUSION
Many companies such as IBM, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT are investing lots of
money in making a quantum computer. These companies have a strong
belief that this is future.
The weird behaviour in small particles made this possible
This is the collaboration of the all sciences and this can make a better

WHAT IS QUANTUM COMPUTER The Quantum computer is a device that is built on the basis of the quantum mechanics It is very different from a normal computer because it has the unique features when compared to the classical computer To understand Quantum computer we should have a little knowledge on the Quantum mechanics The Quantum mechanics/physics is the branch of physics in which Newtonian laws does not work any more. It is purely based on the quantum particles, the particles which are very small like electrons or photon. The photon is the particle of light which can be travelled as a particle and also wave here many of the physics laws fail.
  • 4. How it is different from classical computer Instead of the bits in classical computer the Quantum computer uses Quantum bits also called as Qu-bits. The classical logical bit is represented by binary logic based on either logical high and logical low. Logical high corresponds to binary '1' and logical low corresponds to binary '0' respectively. This makes the possibility of 0 and 1 is 50% each. The Qubit will be in a superposition of the 0 and 1 this makes qubit can be in any probability of getting 0 to 1. b

The Origin of Quantum Computer Quantum superposition The idea of the quantum computer begin with a paper by Richard Feynman in 1982 and later the scientists such as Deutsch, Shor and Grover gave contribution in algorithms Today this was biggest achievement and many of the computer scientists are working under a quantum computer The superposition of a particle in quantum mechanics can be explained as the particle can be both in spin up and spin down state at same time

WHAT ARE QUANTUM CIRCUITS The quantum circuits are similar to the circuits which perform the operations using quantum logic gates We have AND, NOT, OR, NOR, NAND and XOR gates in classical computer where as in quantum computing we have H/HADAMARD, PHASE SHIFT, SWAP, PAULI X, PAULI Y, PAULI Z and etc which can perform similar kind of operations. image source: IBM Q experience

The reason for this is the consistent electron is damaged as soon as it is affected by its environment and that electron is very much essential for the functioning of quantum computers. • The research for this problem is still continuing the effort applied to identify a solution for this problem has no positive progress. • It cannot store the data we need to have the classical bits to store information.
  • 11. CONCLUSION Many companies such as IBM, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT are investing lots of money in making a quantum computer. These companies have a strong belief that this is future.
