QR codes can store large amounts of information and are readable by smartphone cameras. They were invented in 1994 by Toyota to track vehicles and have since been widely used for consumer advertising and packaging. QR codes use patterns and error correction to encode text, numbers, URLs or other data in a machine-readable format. Anyone can generate and use QR codes for free using online generators and reader apps.

2. QR Code Stands for Quick Response Code, is a type of 2D
BarCode which was First used in designing automotive
Industry.
It is Presently Very Popular as it is very Fast Readable and
has large storage Capacity as compared to the Barcode
The Code Consists of Black modules arranged in a Square
pattern on a White Board.
Invented by the Toyota subsidiary Denso Wave in 1994 to
track vehicles during the manufacturing process.
It was designed to allow its contents to be decoded at high
speed.
 In recent years consumers have grown used to seeing them
in consumer advertising and packaging, because the
dissemination of smartphones "has put a barcode reader in
everyone's pocket" for the first time.
For Causal use, software generators and readers are
available for free in the Internet and many Apps for PC and
Mobile (which have camera) .

7. QR Code is encoded in 4 Types-
1. Numeric - 3 characters are encoded to 10bit length.
In theory, 7089 characters or less can be stored in a QRcode.
2. Alphanumeric - 2 characters are encoded to 11bit length.
In theory, 4296 characters or less can be stored in a QRcode.
3. 8 bit byte data- In from of 0 & 1
In theory, 2953 characters or less can be stored in a QRcode.
4. KANJI - A KANJI Character(this is multi byte character) is
encoded to 13bit length.
In theory, 1817 characters or less can be stored in a QRcode.

data.
 STEP 3: Add the mode indicator.
 STEP 4: Add the character count indicator.
 STEP 5: Encode using the selected mode.
 STEP 6: Breaking up to form code-words.

9. Level L (Low) 7% of codewords can be restored.
Level M (Medium) 15% of codewords can be restored.
Level Q (Quartile) 25% of codewords can be restored.
Level H (High) 30% of codewords can be restored.

10. The Size of QR Code defined as version. Version is from 1 to 40. Version 1 is 21*21 matrix.
And 4 modules increases whenever 1 version increases. So version 40 is 177*177 matrix.
