Proper Email Etiquette By Devon, Alex, Ryan, and Eli
Specific Subject Make your subject specific. Example: need help with my HW. If you put that down the person would go to that one very quickly but if you said What’s up they wouldn’t get to that soon.
Be to the Point This means to say flat out what you need. Example: I really don’t get this problem can you help me. If you said “How it going then they wouldn’t reply that quick”.
Answer all question and ask more Ask all the question that could help you out with your problem. Example: I don’t know what / means in my math problem. Than if still having trouble ask more questions.
Proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation Make sher how tu use poper thinks? Notice how I misspelled some words and it does not make cense. This is how it should be: Make sure you know how to use proper things.
Answer swiftly Once you receive an email do not answer it the next week or day. Answer it the moment you get it
Do not attach unnecessary files Do not attach an unnecessary files because you do not want to waste there time with the files that they don’t care about.
Read the email before you send it If you do not reread it there might be a mistake and people will judge you poorly.
Take care with abbreviations and emoticons  These are emoticons. Do not over use them and make the abbreviations are correct.
Don’t over use cc If you over use cc people will not believe that you trust them.
Don’t reply to spam If you reply to spam then they will send you more and things can append to your files and your computer.
