Neighbourhood
Brief: Create a music video, digipak and advertisement poster
Aim: My aim is to create a performance and narrative based music video that will both
present a good story of the reactions a female and male have to their previous breakup; one
sad, one happy. The aim will be overall to entertain the viewers of the audiences and fully
embody the theme of the song and genre of music.
Description of your intentions:
My music video will focus on two different teenage/ young adult’s actors. On the one hand I
will have Marko as the main performer who will sing and play guitar to the majority of the
song as he reminisces about memories of a previous relationship; shown with his flashbacks
of his ex-girlfriend, and how he is sad and angry about their breakup. On the other hand, I
will have rhianne who will play the ex-girlfriend, and do some performance work with her
and Marko’s shots and actions mirroring each other. She will be seen as reacting positively
to the breakup becoming much more confident and independent.
Target Audience:
My targeted audience will be similar to that of the actual band I will be using the song of,
The Neighborhood. It will be targeted to audiences of both genders and from an age range
of teenagers to young adults, who are most aware and popular with this genre of music and
band.
