This document defines and provides examples of different types of pronouns:
- A pronoun is a word that takes the place of a noun or another pronoun. The word a pronoun refers to is called its antecedent.
- There are personal pronouns like I, you, he, she, it, we and they that can be used as subjects or objects of verbs.
- Possessive pronouns like my, your, her, his, its, our and their come before nouns to show ownership or relationship between the noun and another person or thing.
