This document discusses how to develop a research topic into a research question and thesis statement. It states that after determining a broad research topic, one needs to formulate a provable research question that is specific enough to focus the research but broad enough to form the basis of an entire research paper. The research question will then be answered by a thesis statement that can be proven.
