This document discusses different types of pronouns: subject pronouns, object pronouns, and possessive adjectives. It provides examples of sentences using each type of pronoun and examines which pronouns are being used. 7. I moved to Manitoba several years ago.
– “I” is a subject pronoun. It is at the
beginning of a sentence. The noun it
is usually the subject of a verb (doer of the
action).

– “Me” is an object pronoun. It receives the
action of the verb in the sentence.

9. Our car is parked over there.
– “Our” is a possessive adjective. They
function as determiners in front of a noun
describe whom something belongs to: "I
said that's my phone.".

10. The possessive pronouns referred to in
this program are also referred to as
weak pronouns or possessive
adjectives because they modify the
nouns that follow them.
