 Root = a word that replaces a noun
 To avoid repetition
 Antecedent= noun replaced
 Ibtisam is my brother.He is in your English
class.
 Ibtisam = antecedent. He = pronoun.
TYPES OF
PRONOUNS:

PRONOUNS
1. PERSONAL = refers to persons, he, she
2. REFLEXIVE = refers back to the subject
3. INTENSIVE = emphasizes the subject
4. DEMONSTRATIVE = points to with
gesture
5. INDEFINITE = unsure, some, few
6. INTERROGATIVE = question words, who
7. RELATIVE = relates 2 sentences (which)

INTENSIVE PRONOUNINTENSIVE PRONOUN
An intensive pronoun emphasizes its
antecedent.
