Nursing Career As A Licensed Practical Nurse
Nursing Autobiography I began my nursing career as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) when I
graduated from high school. I entered the nursing field at a time that local hospitals were no longer
employing LPN s at the bedside. Therefore, I worked in a nursing home for two years. This was where
I learned how to perfect time management, wound care, and medication knowledge. In the nursing
home, I developed a fondness for the elderly. I worked with men and woman that entered the nursing
home completely oriented, ambulatory, and able to perform most of their activities of daily living.
Then, in a fairly short amount of time I watched them deteriorate until I held their hand while they
passed away. After two years, I was finally allowed to go to the bedside on a medical surgical unit. As
I worked on this unit, I took care of patients with various surgical issues; learning how low blood
pressures and low hemoglobin and hematocrits correlate; as well as, high temperatures and high white
blood cell counts precede the other. I slowly took classes at the local community college until I
received my associate s degree. Once I received my associate s degree, I changed pace and began
working on an intermediate cardiac unit. This unit allowed me to eventually become a charge nurse,
design teaching programs for new graduates and become intrigued with the heart. I eventually began
working in a medical ICU and then a trauma burn ICU. This is where I developed the appreciation of
the lungs

Logos And Ethos In Carrie Underwood s Blown Away
Blown Away by Carrie Underwood shows many examples of pathos, ethos, and logos in the song. The
emotions within the song are very heart wrenching and dark and the sound of the song is portrayed
this way. The sound of the song is very dark and intense with a fast loud beat throughout which
correlates to the lyrics and the video of the song as well. Carrie Underwood establishes her credibility
by being who she is as a country singer and has been for the past ten years. She also shows logos in
her song by telling the state in which it is happening which she repeatedly said was Oklahoma. Blown
Away is written to people who have experienced similar circumstances with violence in their life at
home and for people to hear about a story. The music ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The song tells of an emotional breakup and the emotions shown in the song are sadness and anger.
After the breakup, she emotionally was torn apart and continuously will want him. Miley Cyrus shows
credibility by being who she is as a much known singer. The sound of the song automatically starts
with high and fast beats which sets the intense scene for the song. By the middle of the song, the
sound drops to a much slower beat but then back up for the final chorus. Wrecking Ball was written to
the guy who caused her to feel the way she did. In the first line of the song, she uses the words clawed
and chained which are not normal words used for people in a relationship. She then says she fell under
his spell meaning that she was into the relationship more of then him. She also relate the death of their
relationship to we re ashes in the ground. Within the entire song when she sung the word wreck, it was
emphasized and had a longer beat. The last two lines of Wrecking Ball was yeah, you, you wreck me,
repeated twice also for emphasis. The music video begins the song zoomed into Miley Cyrus face
almost like looking into her and her feelings. By the second chorus and the increased beat she begins
swinging on a ball, creating a visual of her feelings and her literally coming in like a wrecking ball

Institutional Critique Essay
When someone enters an art gallery, they believe they are going to view art, but under the guise of
Institutional Critique, this notion often false. Instead of being the traditional art of painting, sculptures,
and installations, viewers encounter, in the work of Hans Haacke, Daniel Buren, and Michael Asher in
the 1970s, not much to look at, but a lot to think about. In essence, Institutional Critique is a protest
against museums/galleries demanding them to view art and art exhibition in new ways, exemplified by
Conceptual art where words, video, readymades, and even ideas are art. Institutional Critique
manifested from the protests of the 1960s, one of which philosopher Michel Foucault participated in
Paris, 1968. Clearly, Institutional ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In 1971, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum was to present a solo show of Haacke s work, which
was to include the controversial piece, Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum Board of Trustees (1974),
but the museum director cancelled the exhibition. This was partially due to Haacke s refusal to omit
the work from the show, but mostly because of the piece s subject matter. This piece consists of two
framed panels with lists of the museum s board of trustees, which would be acceptable to showcase
because this knowledge would be readily available, but Haacke added five more panels listing the
corporate sponsors of the museum along with each member s other affiliations with corporations. This
work exposed the inner mechanisms of the institution by revealing the trustees questionable
affiliations and the financial backers of the museum. In addition, this piece exemplifies Institutional
Critique precisely because of its focus on the museum itself over the artwork. After all, this piece
cannot be sold at auction, which is an essential aspect of galleries and museums. The piece is, to an
extent, also site specific in that the trust essence of the piece could only be felt if it was exhibited in
the institution it was criticizing, although Haacke never exhibited it at the Guggenheim. In fact, the
piece was not shown until Documenta X in 1997, but by that point, it had lost its critical value. Not
only was it not shown in the

Witness Can Cause Errors
The second study evaluated how the emotions of a witness can cause errors in the retelling of their
story when there were no suggestions made. The participants in the study watched a violent video clip,
then they were split into three groups. These groups consisted of an emotional aspect, factual and the
controlled group. In the emotional group the individuals were instructed to talk about how the video
made them feel when they were retelling the story. In the factual group they were told to just tell
exactly what they remember what happened. The controlled group did an activity that was unrelated to
the subject. All completed a free call and cue driven memory tests. The cue tests showed that it had

Suggestions lead to misinformation, which leads to wrongful convictions. Paz Alonso and Goodman
(2008) stated that in the Moscow terrorist bombings, researchers talked to witnesses after the attack
and indicated that others saw wounded animals in the attack. About 13% of the participants accepted
the information as true. The acceptance of false information can be effected by the time difference of
the event and the misinformation (Paz Alonso and Goodman, 2008, p. 59 62). There is not a basic
science to how we recall things or how memories can be manipulated by suggestions. Knowing that
suggestions could change the way a witness remembers something, could mean that police officers
need to change the way they ask a person what they saw and not to make suggestions. The more time
that passes from an event, the harder it can be to remember a situation or get information correctly.
Paz Alonso and Goodman (2008) conducted a study of how time and retention intervals can lead to
wrong responses. The participants in the study showed that just after two weeks the retention of
memories had a much higher rate of misled information. Time can cause a memory to fade or even
cause some details change (p. 59). In California, the time between the day a crime was committed to
the trial date can be vary. Over that period of time a witness could start to have trouble remembering

What Is Iago Use Of Manipulation In Othello s Character
Manipulation, the handle or control of something in a skillful manner, is a nefarious trait that can
bring harm upon a person. In this dramatic play, Othello, written by William Shakespeare in 1603,
Iago is a man of various traits, most notorious for his keen manipulation skills that twist the minds of
many characters. Iago feels the need to manipulate others in order to raise his status on the social
hierarchy. He plots with consummate sophistication, carefully convincing Othello into believing that
Desdemona is unfaithful. Iago has a passionate love for exploiting other people. Iago s manipulative
measures are a result of his insecurities, given that he is too caught up in his own desires to reach a
status he seems to need in order to be comfortable. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

hopes that Desdemona will intervene on Cassio s behalf, which will make Othello jealous and
suspicious. Iago s evil plan exemplifies his manipulative instincts. Iago s nefarious plan to get Cassio

The Evolution Of Microgrids And Different Other Components
Abstract Electricity supports almost all sectors of the economy and is a critical infrastructure in a
nation. The central grid based electricity gets considered as the most convenient and reliable form of
energy. However, it has not met the entire customer demand need for power since over 1.3 billion
people cannot access electricity. Microgrids are one of the new technologies developed to solve this
problem and support emerging economies and sustainable development. This paper describes the
evolution of microgrids and different other components.

resources such ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A microgrid refers to a small electricity power system that is connected to the utility grid through the
point of common coupling (PCC) and uses on site Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) for the
supply of all or part of local demands. Microgrids comprise of a low voltage (approximately ≤ 1kV) or
medium voltage (range 1 69 kV) locally controlled cluster of distributed energy resources that behave,
from the grids perspective, as a single load both electrically and in energy markets. Fig. 1 shows the
interaction between the two types of electrical systems and their corresponding components
interlinked by the power converters. [4] From this figure, it can be revealed that the AC MGs can be
connected to the bulk AC system via power transformers and require an AC/DC power converter to
interconnect with the bulk DC system. Fig.1. Interconnection of various microgrid components.[4]
A microgrid is introduced to resolve the issues with the economics and the resilience of power
delivery systems. Microgrid loads get supplied by both the utility grid and on site generation when
connected to the utility grid. A microgrid is seen as an aggregated controllable load from the utility
grid.
The microgrid structure consists of several types of distributed energy sources such as solar panels,
wind turbines, microturbin, thermal power plant each in the form of distributed generation, including
energy reserves from battery. Microgrid electrical connection points that

My Dad
When I woke up the morning of June 11th, 2008, I thought it was going to be a normal day, but, I was
wrong. Growing up, my mom told my sisters and I about my Uncle. How he was hot tempered and did
things that were crazy when he didn t get his way. My mom and his relationship has always been
tense. From what I ve seen, and from what she has told me. When she got shot by him that day, it
proved to me that she was right. It was just a normal day. My mother sister, and I, driving around. My
uncle had called and told us how he had gotten a new pit bull puppy, and he invited us over to come
see it. We arrive, and this puppy is the cutest pup I ve ever seen. She was brindle with blue eyes. My
mom wanted to talk to my uncle about us keeping her. While lying on the couch playing with the
puppy, I look over and see my mom, sister, aunt and uncle sitting on the other couch. We were
laughing, smiling, telling jokes. You wouldn t think a bad thing would ever happen in the room. I
know my mother and uncles relationship, an argument was bound to spark over something simple.
They began their routine of arguing back and forth. Meanwhile, from what I could understand, they
were fighting about the pup. Now, I know that might sound outrageous but, the arguing continues. The
argument ended and my uncle walks off to the back room with a creepy smile on his face. In my mind
I m thinking, Ok everything is fine, they just had a moment. Just like that, I see my uncle come from

Comparison Between 20 Key Arguments For And Against Abortion
Abortion is a concept that has been widely debated for years according to Roe V. Wade Turns 40, But
Abortion Debate Is Even Older , it is a argument that has been going on since the 1950 s , but the big
question is will the debate of whether abortion is pro choice or murder ever truly be over ?
Using the articles 20 Key Arguments For and Against Abortion and Should Abortion Be Legal I ll be
analyzing the opinions of pro life and pro choice views of abortion written by different authors that
share some different views of why they believe it is wrong or right. Linda Lowen the arthur of 20 Key
Arguments For and Against Abortion , used more opinion based facts in contrast to Should Abortion
Be Legal but neither of the authors are prejudice to either side of the argument. The article ¨Should
Abortion Be Legal uses a lot of surveys from universities and medical centers to back up there point
of view on why abortion is pro choice. The pro life argument uses surveys from the same sources but
they also use scriptures from the old testament and a statement in the hippocratic oath that doctors take

Essay On Greenhouse Gas Emissions
As emitter in chief Donald Trump pulls out of the Paris Climate Accord, the time has come for a top
down approach to reducing global greenhouse gas emissions. Jack Close explains.
Environmentalists are quick to sing out about New Zealand s excessive greenhouse gas emissions and
rightly so. In the large part, we are a gas guzzling, river polluting, plastic bag wasting country. But the
rules of international trade means cutting back on production in our worst emitting industry probably
won t work, or at least not yet.
New Zealand is the world s largest dairy exporter, making up about 35 percent of international trade
and sells nearly half of the world s traded lamb. Agriculture accounts for 5.1 percent of our GDP, and
directly employs 7 ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
And we keep getting better at it in the last two decades, we ve reduced the amount of emissions per
unit of lamb, milk solids and beef by up to 33 percent.
If anyone should be producing dairy products, lamb, and beef, it should be us, right?
The NZ Agricultural Greenhouse Gas Research Centre uses the term leakage to describe what would
happen if we cut back on agriculture. If we reduce the amount of milk solids we export, for example,
people across the world will still want milk.
Instead, another country will seize the opportunity to fill the hole in the market, and feed the alley cat
that is global greenhouse gas emissions.
Not only will New Zealand be missing out on the revenue from those exports, but the countries that
attempt to capitalise on New Zealand s newfound environmental stewardship may not have anywhere
near the emission productivity that we do. Parts of Africa and South East Asia produce seven times
more methane per kilogram of edible protein than us.
In theory, we d be leaving the world in a worse environmental state than it was beforehand, and we d
be out of pocket.
Unless the whole world goes vegan, the demand for animal protein will only increase as exponential
population growth continues, with the United Nations expecting an extra 2.4 billion mouths to feed by
2050.
No country wants to lose out if they over commit to reducing climate change. There s a very good
reason the Government conveniently left off

the 1944 presidential election, he deemed his acting vice president, Henry Wallace, unacceptable.
Wallace was disliked by many of the senior democrats in Washington, and since it was apparent that
Roosevelt might not survive his fourth term, the vice presidential pick was especially important.
Truman s popularity, as well as his reputation as a fiscally responsible man and a defender of citizens

Wicca Fog
Since the beginning of time, there have been numerous variations of religion. All across the globe,
from New Zealand to Belgium, everyone has had a denomination of sorts at one time or another. With
the creation of new religions popping up throughout the centuries, there comes with them some heavy
set opinions, and in turn many righteous actions. One of the most critiqued religions of the bunch is
Wicca. Since the beginning of it s formation, it has received more than its fair share of assessment,
demolition, and genocide. The problem with opinions on such a heavy topic, is that people don t

According to Wiseman, Wicca is a way of life to it s many followers, it s a philosophy. It is a unique
religion, in that the hierarchy found in most practiced religions today is not present. It lacks the tiered
code, and allows both male and female to be equal in all aspects. Both sexes have an opportunity to be
initiated into priesthood, much to the contrasting variation found in Catholicism. Once someone is
introduced to a circle or coven, people are encouraged to develop their own individualistic ideals and
style of worship. In fact, it is found to be immoral to impose beliefs upon one another, but rather
everyone should create their own and embrace them. This is based on the Wiccan Golden Rule, found
in the Wiccan Reed, which states, An Ye Harm None, Do As Ye Will (Wiseman, 2015). This
essentially translates to you must tolerate and respect one another, and is held as one of the highest

Population Control
Every day, over three hundred million babies are born around the world. Abortion lowers the
population number a minute amount, but according to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), only
about 1 in every five parents abort, resulting in a population increase of four live births. Without
control, the human population growth will not stop. Companies will try to meet the demand for more
consumer goods, causing the development of more factories. Deforestation, or the clearing of forests,
will occur to build the factories. The increase in factories will result in higher carbon dioxide levels
emitted into the atmosphere. Humans are unquestionably the most advanced species. They are also,
unfortunately, the most destructive. Humans are causing a surprising amount of damage to Earth
because of one thing, overpopulation.
Machines clear trees from land to accommodate the demand for housing and commercial buildings,
which in turn causes the release of carbon dioxide through gas emissions. Also, tropical forests contain
more than two hundred ten gigatons of carbon dioxide which are released into the atmosphere when
they are cut down which then increases the amount of greenhouse gases. Tropical trees alone are
responsible for releasing more than 15 percent of greenhouse gas emissions. In the Eastern
Hemisphere, there are high greenhouse gas emissions due to the clearing, draining and conversion of
many forests into pulp plantations. The absence of trees causes an increased amount of

The Negative Effects Of Advertising And Its Effects On...
Advertising has a large impact on today s youth. This impact is largely created through use of
commercials on television. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention published an article which
explains that food commercials are one of the major components of advertising and they are leading to
an increase in health and weight problems in children. In addition to this, psychologists such as Sandra
L. Calvert have discovered that commercials give children a distorted sense of reality and can lead to
personality conflicts. Parents and scientists alike have found that advertisements also can cause self
esteem issues in young people, and this is a major concern. In conclusion, the negative effects of
advertising on children are alarming. Commercials advertising food are everywhere, and they are
causing problems in children s eating habits. An article published by the National Center for
Biotechnology Information stated that food marketing towards children promotes mostly foods that
are nutrient poor and contain lots of calories. The food being advertised on tv is not good for children,
but due to their vulnerability, they want it. Often times, they get what they want, so kids are being fed
very low quality food. A young child s body needs nutrients in order to grow and cannot handle
extreme amounts of calories. However, they food they want goes against these principles and can
cause health problems later on. According to a healthcare clinic, Mayo Clinic, a

connotation; perhaps, they upset the aesthetics of a well manicured lawn. In any case, this is the same
for Maya Angelou in Still I Rise. In the middle of the 20th century, African Americans were the
victims of discrimination because they were different; they were of color and the dominant whites
believed they did not fit in. Furthermore, from a biological perspective, dandelions are uncontrollably
successful. These once inconspicuous spring flowers have spread to vast regions of the continent, and
have dominated the native flora. This is similar to the poem because up until the middle of the 1960s,
African Americans were ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
These intrepid flowers are the first to blossom, symbolizing confidence and fearlessness, as did Maya
Angelou when she stood up for African Americans in Still I Rise . This lilac is blue, rather than the
typical purple because blue represents confidence: the sky will always be there, the waves will always
rise. These phenomena are reliable and stable, both of which are characteristics that encourage
confidence. Similarly, Maya only pushes through her challenges by having a confident and self
respectful stance. Furthermore, Surrounding the lilac is an ocean of concrete. This symbolizes all the
oppression, persecution, and tyranny African Americans have suffered. Yet, the lilac still stands
confidently further supporting the theme of Still I Rise : confidence triumphs over any obstacle.
Lastly, I depicted a cloudless daybreak in the background with the ideal colors yellow and orange.
This setting symbolizes the end of brutal hardships and personifies the resilience of the sun Maya and
the lilac had to conjure to triumph over their

Analysis Of The Croatian Market In Croatia
In order for a U.S. Company to enter the Croatian market it is important to have a thorough and deep
understanding of the intricacies of the market. In order to acquire this knowledge extensive research
and investigation has been conducted. Below I have included a general overview/ analysis of the
Croatian Market which facilitates market entry planning and projects. Market Overview Croatia is a
developing country situated in Southeastern Europe it has a relatively small yet complex market which
plays a very vital role when it comes to political and economic stability in the Balkan region. Croatian
population consists of a small 4,170.60 million people according to the World Bank s data.

A social mindset prevails in various parts of Croatian society. It is important to keep in mind that
Croatia has recently recovered from the Homeland war just twenty two short years ago. The country
has made tremendous strides towards reconstruction and recovery within the last decade. Some major
setbacks the country deals with today are that the majority of Croatian income comes from
government funding, social insurance, or public monopolies. Not from the revenues of truly
competitive companies. Therefore, any reforms that are introduced that are in opposition to or address
corruption, public overspending, or judicial inefficacy usually faces strong opposition from privileged
majority on top. On a more optimistic note Croatia has a growing force of entrepreneurs who have
innovative and vibrant ideas which are changing the way business in conducted in many industries in
Croatia. These entrepreneurs and their businesses follow strong EU regulations and rules which make
them perfect potential partners for American companies looking to expand in the region. Market
Challenges Croatia s developing Economy is still after its gained independence in 1991. A number of
internal problems plague Croatia s development. These include Judiciary inefficiencies infested with
case back logs and a lack of expertise in commercial affairs, and a complex non transparent
bureaucracy. Corruption is also a major issue that people battle with when conducting business

Comparing Gary Paulsen s Hatchet And Eragon
For summer reading, I read Hatchet, by Gary Paulsen, and Eragon, by Christopher Paolini. I chose to
do this report about Hatchet, because I felt that it had more impact on me as I was reading it. I also
like reading survival themed novels. Hatchet is a story about survival. 13 year old Brian Robson, a
city boy, gets his whole life turned around when a plane that he is flying in crashes, leaving him
stranded in the harsh Alaskan wilderness, with nothing but a hatchet to aid him in his quest for
survival. The social setting of this book has a huge impact on this story. To start, his parents are filing
for divorce. This often leaves Brian mad, sad, and confused. He wanted to know why his parents are
getting divorced. Throughout the novel, Brian

Parents And Parents With Adoptees And Their Families
In the journal article The Role of Siblings in Adoption Outcomes and Experiences From Adolescence
to Emerging Adulthood the only biographical information about the authors is their names, the
universities they are from, the departments, and their funding. The three authors are Rachel H. Farr
from University of Kentucky and in the Department of Psychology. The other two authors are
Margaux R. Flood and Harold D. Grotevant both from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and
in the Department of Pshological and Brain Sciences.Their funding was provided by the National
Institute of Child Health and Human Development Grant R01 HD 049859, William T. Grant
Foundation Grant 7146, and National Science Foundation Grant BCS 0443590.
3. This reseach report was based off three studies dealing with adoptees and their families; both
biolgical and adoption. The object of the study was to see how participant s developmental effects and
adoption experiences from childhood to starting adulthood are connected with sibling relationship
dynamics. They expected that the results would indicate that the changes to starting adults may relate
to the changes in birth family contact from some adopted siblings. Each of the studies had a different
hypothesis based on their study, study one hypothesized that there would be a decrease in adoptee s
contact with birth family as the adoptee got older. Study two, hypothesized that the target adopteess
would be benefited when their siblings participated in

The Inner Workings Of Evolution And Natural Selection
Evidence
Investigate the inner workings of pluricellular evolution, cell shape and function, as well as how cells
survive and multiply. This is an essential question to consider and elaborate on when trying to prove
the topic of evolution. Evolution will be proven hereby by elaborating on the inner workings of the
Endosymbiotic theory, Multicellular evolution and Natural selection, along with Cell specialization,
replacement and Differentiation.
The Endosymbiotic theory is an assumption based on experience and/or limited information about the
evolution of the cell. Bacteria are one of the oldest single cellular organisms. They began to make
their own food using photosynthesis which then produced enough oxygen to reshape Earth s
atmosphere. This change brought upon diverse bacterial life which include clear evidence that
chloroplasts and mitochondria were, at one point, crude bacterial cells. Over the years, chloroplasts
and mitochondria became dependent on a host cell. After millions of years of evolution, chloroplasts
and mitochondria cannot survive outside of the cell. This is the Endosymbiotic theory. Although this is
labeled a theory, there is striking evidence that shows similarities in both bacteria, and mitochondria
and chloroplasts. They all have their own DNA (separate from the nucleus), and they both use this
DNA to produce proteins and enzymes for their functions.
Multicellular evolution has reshaped Earth s ecology and is incredibly critical in the

Corporate Cost, Human Resource Management Cost
As corporate cost is the cost associate with Treasury cost, Human resource management cost. Acitivity
based costing seeks to identify cost drivers that are directly link all the activities e.g. support activities
and production activities to the product manufactured or service provided. The cost of all those
activities are assigned to products or services via the activity cost driver, according to the each product
relative consumption of these activities. Allocating corporate overheads based on the use of volume
related cost driver alone can produce the misleading cost information such as inappropriate allocation
can lead to faulty conclusions about the relative product profitability.
Whether corporate costs should be allocated to individual divisions when an business has more than
one division that depends on whether the corporate costs are incurred primarily to support divisions
business activities and whether the allocation can be reliably determined. For example, if the
divisional companies are not closely related to the corporate costs and similarly the corporate costs are
not necessarily incurred to facilitate the operation of each division then arguably the corporate costs
should not be allocated to divisions.
The allocation division also depends on the nature and type of the business, the purpose of the
corporate costs allocation process and how divisions are divided. For example, if the change of
corporate cost is in proportionate with the increase or decrease of

The exile of an Emperor his Highness now a General; stripped of rank but not hauteur was mitigated,
with no irony, by domestic whiles, rustic repose, and the company of a captor s child. Betsy Balcombe
was her name, a most unusual English girl; she lived on St. Helena isle, her father owned the summer
home that housed the Corsican ogre a monster who deigned to amuse. Betsy, who was then thirteen,
enjoyed the company of Lucifer. And who could better teach a lass to speak French right, or drink
cordials, or break a horse, or break the rules of decorum by severing a Marquis tail? And, let us not
omit to note, the Anecdote of the Sabre in which the Emperor did grandly show Betsy his foil, with
which the girl wielded au fait. And, who to better play the part of a phantom than Napoleon? With
spectres of mad men and ghosts to chill a child with felicity, why not an Emperor to haunt an isle? Tis
Shakespearean this volatile commingling of farce and tragedy; why not Lear and his Fool in one
person; why should gravity not have a laugh since life performs in several acts, and humans make
discrepant themes? This life at times was far from death, resembling a fairy tale of architectural

Positive Influence On Football
Positive and Negative Influences that Media has on Sport in the UK (Football)
Television
Positive There are several reasons why football has a positive effect around the world. Reason one,
football is broadcasted all over the world on television. Football is one of the main sports in the world;
furthermore football is watched by billions of people around the world e.g. England, China, and Brazil
etc. Another positive aspect that most football leagues are broadcasted on television e.g. Premiership
(English League), Seria A (Italian League) and Liga (Spanish League). Youth club matches e.g. Under
18s and Under 21s can be viewed either on Sky Sports or even BT Sports. BT sports airs matches
from Seria A, Ligue 1 and the Premiership, Sky Sports broadcasts matches from the Premiership, Liga
and MLS. The reason why Sky Sports and BT Sports air theses football matches as a result they will
increase their revenues. Furthermore they will receive more and money from loads of sponsorships
that the television company are associated with.
Negative One of the negatives of television is that many football games or major football tournaments
like the FA Cup, UEFA Champions League or Europa League are either broadcasted on Sky Sports or
BT Sports. Football supports who buy the sky sports bundle to watch their team play pay £47.50 a
month for only the on their Sky Sports package. However not all football matches are shown on Sky
sports, e.g. Champions League matches are shown on BT

No Country For Black Boys By Joy Priest
Where is my country?
The poem No Country for Black Boys by Joy Priest represents the sorrowful incident which happened
on February 26, 2012 for Trayvon Martin in Florida. Trayvon Martin was an innocent African
American young boy who bought iced tea and some skittles. On the way back to his father s home, he
got shot by the neighborhood watch and treated as a victim because of his skin color. Guilt was not
defined by what Martin did but by what he said, also it determined something deep rooted in the
young age. No weapon was needed to identify him as a victim. He is a young black boy, so he is
already guilty enough to be killed. Black people have the same rights as the other people, however in
reality, America s society discriminates against them compared to other nationalities.
People feel unsafe when they see African American young boys. President Obama said There
are very few African American men in this country who haven t had the experience of being followed
when they were shopping in a department store. That includes me. African American kids prepare
themselves from childhood to prove their honesty to the other nations around. They learned to hide
from the cops even before they learned how to read a book. Young black men are considered as wild
black animals when they become adults. They behave toward a person who makes trouble before they

Essay on The Charismatic Gifts
THE CHARISMATIC GIFTS: THEIR USE, FUNCTION,AND CONTINUITY
Joseph Oliveri
Bible 364 Acts
August 16, 2013
Introduction Their is much debate surrounding the use of the charismatic gifts in Acts. Many questions
arise about how to use such gifts, and whether or not they can be used today in the first place. The
debate regarding the continuation and the cessation of the spiritual gifts, the meaning of which we will
clarify in a moment, is a relatively modern one. Although we read about the outpouring of the Holy
Spirit at Pentecost in Acts, and the gifts of the Holy Spirit in the early church of the New Testament,
history is more or less silent on this issue. It was not until the early ... Show more content on

First, he grounds the use of all the gifts in the Lordship of Jesus Christ ( Therefore... no one speaking
in the Spirit... 1 Cor. 1:3). Here, it is seen that the gift and gifts of the Spirit serve as the external
manifestation of the triumph and enthronement of Christ. 4 Furthermore, in 1 Cor. 1:7 11, the point is
made that the exercise of any gift of the Spirit is the ministry of the word given to God s people, and
that the ministry of God s revelatory word is central to the use of all other gifts... they give expression
to that word in various ways. 5 This is why, in an eclectic grouping of the various giftings (found in 1
Cor. 12:8 11, 1 Cor. 12:28, Rom. 12:6 8, Eph. 4:11, and 1 Pet. 4:11), the work of the ministry of the
word of God is paramount, that is, the revelatory word through the apostle and prophet is
foundational, while all else is informed by and flows from this. 6 Second, Paul grounds the use of the
gifts in love. The reflection of the manifestations of these gifts were meant to emphasize God s grace,
that is, the Holy Spirit was poured out at Pentecost as a sign of the new covenant for believers. This,
of course, was a fulfillment of the Prophecy of Joel ( Joel 2:28 32; cf. Acts 2:17 18). Peter understood
the prophesying to which Joel referred to be fulfilled by that speaking of tongues produced by the
Holy Spirit at Pentecost. Thus, Peter regarded tongues as the functional equivalent of prophecy (this is
important to note, as it helps shape

Like Water For Chocolate by Laura Esquivel Essay
The excerpt from Like Water for Chocolate, by Laura Esquivel exposes the uncanny scenario of
Rosaura and Pedro s wedding, and the sudden nostalgia everyone is revealing. The connection of
food, and the role of the Mexican revolution is depicted in this excerpt, and the use of intense emotion
and sorrow is used to create a dismal atmosphere filled with loss and loneliness. Esquivel uses Tita s
culinary skills and her deep affection towards Pedro as a technique to emphasize the effect it has on
the secondary characters in the novel. The overall depiction of the novel is effected by Tita s culinary
skills; each month represents the emotion she is currently feeling. This particular excerpt illustrates the
grief of Tita towards the marriage ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This is also viewed as a pathetic fallacy, where Tita s mood and eternal sadness towards the marriage
of Rosaura to the love of her life, Pedro, affects the guests in the wedding who were wailing over a
lost love. (39) The role of food and culinary skills is evident in the excerpt and can be connected to the
overall theme of the novel. Esquivel relates food to the mood Tita is currently facing. Tita s sorrow
and hopeless love affects her cooking techniques and creates a cake that ironically is supposed to
represent and symbolize love and the devotion of marriage, instead it contradicts the traditional
aspects of marriage and does the complete opposite; it creates a turmoil atmosphere. Due to Tita s
bond with cooking, her emotions plays a significant role in her dishes, and also affects the people
around her; whatever mood Tita is feeling, people feel it too. The weeping (39) of the guests at the
wedding is triggered by the piece of cake they ate, Tita s tear symbolizes dreadfulness and failure to be
with her true love. In a way, Tita indirectly seeks vengeance against her mother, Mama Elena, and
Rosaura, for agreeing to the wedding. Tita s tears where a way of releasing the gloominess from her
soul, and allowing it to flow to other people s hearts. Rosaura states that Tita did add something to the
cake. (40) Rosaura s materialistic and shallow character doesn t

Future of an Illusion by Sigmund Freud Essay
Future of an Illusion by Sigmund Freud
In his book Future of an Illusion, Sigmund Freud utilizes his method of psychoanalysis on religion by
comparing the relationship between human and religion to that of a child and his parents. Freud
effectively demonstrates that religion is a product of the human mind. After exposing religion as a an
illusion, Freud concludes that humanity will be better off when it has forgone religion. This paper will
argue that Freud s assertion that religion is an illusion is correct because of it s blatantly traceable
evolution through the history of the human civilization and psyche.
The first argument that Freud makes in his assault on religion regards civilization. Freud argues that
human ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Freud illuminates with slight sarcasm how convenient religion is in it s ability to rectify all the trials
and tribulations of life for us. Everything that happens in this world is an expression of the intentions
of an intelligence superior to us, which in the end, though its ways and byways are difficult to follow,
orders everything for the best. (Freud, 23) The existence of this divine creature who creates justice for
us ensures that the masses will not stray from the laws and beliefs of religion and society for fear of
being judged by this entity. Religion is also valuable to civilization for it s ability to explain death.
Thanks to religion, death became something other than simply the termination of a life. Death stopped
being the end and was recasted into the role of a doorway to another existence. As though knowing
that the continuation of life were not enough, religion furthers it s own appeal by promising that the
afterlife will be better than life on Earth. The afterlife itself also serves a function as well. A desire to
gain entry into this afterlife will cause many of the masses to renounce their instincts.
Another argument Freud makes is how religion is an attempt to fill in the gaps where civilization and
the pursuit of life cannot make individuals happy. The urge to rectify the shortcomings of civilization
which made themselves painfully felt is fulfilled by religion. (Freud,

Grissom s Diary Entry
Entry #1
Page Range: 1 34
Entry: Dear journal, Carter here. Yesterday we went to the Fifty first Nome in Texas, to attend the
Dallas Museum of Art s party that was held by J.D. Grissom, the leader of the Fifty first Nome. We
had gone to warn him about the lord of chaos, Apophis, and how he planned to find an artifact, destroy
it and kill everyone in the museum. We had met up with J.D. Grissom in the sculpture garden where
the main party was being held and warned him of the upcoming threat. He didn t seem to believe us at
first, and said The Tut exhibit has been open for a month now. If Apophis was going to strike, wouldn
t he have done it already? . We decided it would be better if we explained on the way to the exhibits.

We did it. Using the spell, and Apophis s shadow that we got before Setne escaped we managed to
perform a shadow execration on Apophis. It took a lot of effort and sacrifice though. Getting to him
was like walking through a funhouse where the mirrors lead to just more mirrors. We had eventually
gotten to his main head, while others were fighting other parts of him deep in the Duat. Along with us,
Zia who was hosting the sun god Ra was shooting fire balls at Apophis. It was a crazy mess
everywhere. Apophis had two heads and three tails, but only one of each was real. I could feel the pure
chaos burrowing into my bones, and killing me from the inside out. For a split second, Zia got
distracted, and just as the ancient Egyptians had prophesied, Apophis swallowed Ra and Zia whole.
Instantly the Sun disappeared and everything got really dark and cold. The only thing illuminating the
area was the red glow of Apophis. Seeing Zia swallowed down by Apophis filled me with so much
anger, I blacked out. Sadie says that I lashed out with the crook and flail, leaving wounds that didn t
heal. I don t remember any of that. All I remember is seeing Apophis with two steaming wounds
across him, oozing the blood of chaos. Then Sadie and I cast the shadow execration and banished him

  • 3. Nursing Career As A Licensed Practical Nurse Nursing Autobiography I began my nursing career as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) when I graduated from high school. I entered the nursing field at a time that local hospitals were no longer employing LPN s at the bedside. Therefore, I worked in a nursing home for two years. This was where I learned how to perfect time management, wound care, and medication knowledge. In the nursing home, I developed a fondness for the elderly. I worked with men and woman that entered the nursing home completely oriented, ambulatory, and able to perform most of their activities of daily living. Then, in a fairly short amount of time I watched them deteriorate until I held their hand while they passed away. After two years, I was finally allowed to go to the bedside on a medical surgical unit. As I worked on this unit, I took care of patients with various surgical issues; learning how low blood pressures and low hemoglobin and hematocrits correlate; as well as, high temperatures and high white blood cell counts precede the other. I slowly took classes at the local community college until I received my associate s degree. Once I received my associate s degree, I changed pace and began working on an intermediate cardiac unit. This unit allowed me to eventually become a charge nurse, design teaching programs for new graduates and become intrigued with the heart. I eventually began working in a medical ICU and then a trauma burn ICU. This is where I developed the appreciation of the lungs ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Logos And Ethos In Carrie Underwood s Blown Away Blown Away by Carrie Underwood shows many examples of pathos, ethos, and logos in the song. The emotions within the song are very heart wrenching and dark and the sound of the song is portrayed this way. The sound of the song is very dark and intense with a fast loud beat throughout which correlates to the lyrics and the video of the song as well. Carrie Underwood establishes her credibility by being who she is as a country singer and has been for the past ten years. She also shows logos in her song by telling the state in which it is happening which she repeatedly said was Oklahoma. Blown Away is written to people who have experienced similar circumstances with violence in their life at home and for people to hear about a story. The music ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The song tells of an emotional breakup and the emotions shown in the song are sadness and anger. After the breakup, she emotionally was torn apart and continuously will want him. Miley Cyrus shows credibility by being who she is as a much known singer. The sound of the song automatically starts with high and fast beats which sets the intense scene for the song. By the middle of the song, the sound drops to a much slower beat but then back up for the final chorus. Wrecking Ball was written to the guy who caused her to feel the way she did. In the first line of the song, she uses the words clawed and chained which are not normal words used for people in a relationship. She then says she fell under his spell meaning that she was into the relationship more of then him. She also relate the death of their relationship to we re ashes in the ground. Within the entire song when she sung the word wreck, it was emphasized and had a longer beat. The last two lines of Wrecking Ball was yeah, you, you wreck me, repeated twice also for emphasis. The music video begins the song zoomed into Miley Cyrus face almost like looking into her and her feelings. By the second chorus and the increased beat she begins swinging on a ball, creating a visual of her feelings and her literally coming in like a wrecking ball and breaking his ... • 5. Institutional Critique Essay When someone enters an art gallery, they believe they are going to view art, but under the guise of Institutional Critique, this notion often false. Instead of being the traditional art of painting, sculptures, and installations, viewers encounter, in the work of Hans Haacke, Daniel Buren, and Michael Asher in the 1970s, not much to look at, but a lot to think about. In essence, Institutional Critique is a protest against museums/galleries demanding them to view art and art exhibition in new ways, exemplified by Conceptual art where words, video, readymades, and even ideas are art. Institutional Critique manifested from the protests of the 1960s, one of which philosopher Michel Foucault participated in Paris, 1968. Clearly, Institutional ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In 1971, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum was to present a solo show of Haacke s work, which was to include the controversial piece, Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum Board of Trustees (1974), but the museum director cancelled the exhibition. This was partially due to Haacke s refusal to omit the work from the show, but mostly because of the piece s subject matter. This piece consists of two framed panels with lists of the museum s board of trustees, which would be acceptable to showcase because this knowledge would be readily available, but Haacke added five more panels listing the corporate sponsors of the museum along with each member s other affiliations with corporations. This work exposed the inner mechanisms of the institution by revealing the trustees questionable affiliations and the financial backers of the museum. In addition, this piece exemplifies Institutional Critique precisely because of its focus on the museum itself over the artwork. After all, this piece cannot be sold at auction, which is an essential aspect of galleries and museums. The piece is, to an extent, also site specific in that the trust essence of the piece could only be felt if it was exhibited in the institution it was criticizing, although Haacke never exhibited it at the Guggenheim. In fact, the piece was not shown until Documenta X in 1997, but by that point, it had lost its critical value. Not only was it not shown in the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 6. Witness Can Cause Errors The second study evaluated how the emotions of a witness can cause errors in the retelling of their story when there were no suggestions made. The participants in the study watched a violent video clip, then they were split into three groups. These groups consisted of an emotional aspect, factual and the controlled group. In the emotional group the individuals were instructed to talk about how the video made them feel when they were retelling the story. In the factual group they were told to just tell exactly what they remember what happened. The controlled group did an activity that was unrelated to the subject. All completed a free call and cue driven memory tests. The cue tests showed that it had little effort on the focus of telling the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Suggestions lead to misinformation, which leads to wrongful convictions. Paz Alonso and Goodman (2008) stated that in the Moscow terrorist bombings, researchers talked to witnesses after the attack and indicated that others saw wounded animals in the attack. About 13% of the participants accepted the information as true. The acceptance of false information can be effected by the time difference of the event and the misinformation (Paz Alonso and Goodman, 2008, p. 59 62). There is not a basic science to how we recall things or how memories can be manipulated by suggestions. Knowing that suggestions could change the way a witness remembers something, could mean that police officers need to change the way they ask a person what they saw and not to make suggestions. The more time that passes from an event, the harder it can be to remember a situation or get information correctly. Paz Alonso and Goodman (2008) conducted a study of how time and retention intervals can lead to wrong responses. The participants in the study showed that just after two weeks the retention of memories had a much higher rate of misled information. Time can cause a memory to fade or even cause some details change (p. 59). In California, the time between the day a crime was committed to the trial date can be vary. In this dramatic play, Othello, written by William Shakespeare in 1603, Iago is a man of various traits, most notorious for his keen manipulation skills that twist the minds of many characters. Iago feels the need to manipulate others in order to raise his status on the social hierarchy. He plots with consummate sophistication, carefully convincing Othello into believing that Desdemona is unfaithful. Iago has a passionate love for exploiting other people. • 9. The Evolution Of Microgrids And Different Other Components Abstract Electricity supports almost all sectors of the economy and is a critical infrastructure in a nation. The central grid based electricity gets considered as the most convenient and reliable form of energy. However, it has not met the entire customer demand need for power since over 1.3 billion people cannot access electricity. Microgrids are one of the new technologies developed to solve this problem and support emerging economies and sustainable development. This paper describes the evolution of microgrids and different other components. Index Terms Econmomy, Grid, Smart Grid, Microgrid, Reliable. I. A microgrid refers to a small electricity power system that is connected to the utility grid through the point of common coupling (PCC) and uses on site Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) for the supply of all or part of local demands. Microgrids comprise of a low voltage (approximately ≤ 1kV) or medium voltage (range 1 69 kV) locally controlled cluster of distributed energy resources that behave, from the grids perspective, as a single load both electrically and in energy markets. Fig. 1 shows the interaction between the two types of electrical systems and their corresponding components interlinked by the power converters. [4] From this figure, it can be revealed that the AC MGs can be connected to the bulk AC system via power transformers and require an AC/DC power converter to interconnect with the bulk DC system. Fig.1. Interconnection of various microgrid components.[4] A microgrid is introduced to resolve the issues with the economics and the resilience of power delivery systems. Microgrid loads get supplied by both the utility grid and on site generation when connected to the utility grid. A microgrid is seen as an aggregated controllable load from the utility grid. The microgrid structure consists of several types of distributed energy sources such as solar panels, wind turbines, microturbin, thermal power plant each in the form of distributed generation, including energy reserves from battery. • 10. My Dad When I woke up the morning of June 11th, 2008, I thought it was going to be a normal day, but, I was wrong. Growing up, my mom told my sisters and I about my Uncle. How he was hot tempered and did things that were crazy when he didn t get his way. My mom and his relationship has always been tense. From what I ve seen, and from what she has told me. When she got shot by him that day, it proved to me that she was right. It was just a normal day. My mother sister, and I, driving around. My uncle had called and told us how he had gotten a new pit bull puppy, and he invited us over to come see it. We arrive, and this puppy is the cutest pup I ve ever seen. She was brindle with blue eyes. My mom wanted to talk to my uncle about us keeping her. While lying on the couch playing with the puppy, I look over and see my mom, sister, aunt and uncle sitting on the other couch. We were laughing, smiling, telling jokes. You wouldn t think a bad thing would ever happen in the room. I know my mother and uncles relationship, an argument was bound to spark over something simple. They began their routine of arguing back and forth. Meanwhile, from what I could understand, they were fighting about the pup. Now, I know that might sound outrageous but, the arguing continues. The argument ended and my uncle walks off to the back room with a creepy smile on his face. In my mind I m thinking, Ok everything is fine, they just had a moment. • 12. Essay On Greenhouse Gas Emissions As emitter in chief Donald Trump pulls out of the Paris Climate Accord, the time has come for a top down approach to reducing global greenhouse gas emissions. Jack Close explains. Environmentalists are quick to sing out about New Zealand s excessive greenhouse gas emissions and rightly so. In the large part, we are a gas guzzling, river polluting, plastic bag wasting country. But the rules of international trade means cutting back on production in our worst emitting industry probably won t work, or at least not yet. And we keep getting better at it in the last two decades, we ve reduced the amount of emissions per unit of lamb, milk solids and beef by up to 33 percent. If anyone should be producing dairy products, lamb, and beef, it should be us, right? The NZ Agricultural Greenhouse Gas Research Centre uses the term leakage to describe what would happen if we cut back on agriculture. If we reduce the amount of milk solids we export, for example, people across the world will still want milk. Instead, another country will seize the opportunity to fill the hole in the market, and feed the alley cat that is global greenhouse gas emissions. Not only will New Zealand be missing out on the revenue from those exports, but the countries that attempt to capitalise on New Zealand s newfound environmental stewardship may not have anywhere near the emission productivity that we do. Parts of Africa and South East Asia produce seven times more methane per kilogram of edible protein than us. In theory, we d be leaving the world in a worse environmental state than it was beforehand, and we d be out of pocket. Unless the whole world goes vegan, the demand for animal protein will only increase as exponential population growth continues, with the United Nations expecting an extra 2.4 billion mouths to feed by 2050. No country wants to lose out if they over commit to reducing climate change. There s a very good reason the Government conveniently left off

Abortion lowers the population number a minute amount, but according to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), only about 1 in every five parents abort, resulting in a population increase of four live births. Without control, the human population growth will not stop. Companies will try to meet the demand for more consumer goods, causing the development of more factories. Deforestation, or the clearing of forests, will occur to build the factories. The increase in factories will result in higher carbon dioxide levels emitted into the atmosphere. Humans are unquestionably the most advanced species. They are also, unfortunately, the most destructive. Humans are causing a surprising amount of damage to Earth because of one thing, overpopulation. Machines clear trees from land to accommodate the demand for housing and commercial buildings, which in turn causes the release of carbon dioxide through gas emissions. Also, tropical forests contain more than two hundred ten gigatons of carbon dioxide which are released into the atmosphere when they are cut down which then increases the amount of greenhouse gases. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention published an article which explains that food commercials are one of the major components of advertising and they are leading to an increase in health and weight problems in children. In addition to this, psychologists such as Sandra L. Calvert have discovered that commercials give children a distorted sense of reality and can lead to personality conflicts. Parents and scientists alike have found that advertisements also can cause self esteem issues in young people, and this is a major concern. In conclusion, the negative effects of advertising on children are alarming. Commercials advertising food are everywhere, and they are causing problems in children s eating habits. An article published by the National Center for Biotechnology Information stated that food marketing towards children promotes mostly foods that are nutrient poor and contain lots of calories. The food being advertised on tv is not good for children, but due to their vulnerability, they want it. Often times, they get what they want, so kids are being fed very low quality food. This is an essential question to consider and elaborate on when trying to prove the topic of evolution. Evolution will be proven hereby by elaborating on the inner workings of the Endosymbiotic theory, Multicellular evolution and Natural selection, along with Cell specialization, replacement and Differentiation. The Endosymbiotic theory is an assumption based on experience and/or limited information about the evolution of the cell. Bacteria are one of the oldest single cellular organisms. They began to make their own food using photosynthesis which then produced enough oxygen to reshape Earth s atmosphere. This change brought upon diverse bacterial life which include clear evidence that chloroplasts and mitochondria were, at one point, crude bacterial cells. Over the years, chloroplasts and mitochondria became dependent on a host cell. After millions of years of evolution, chloroplasts and mitochondria cannot survive outside of the cell. This is the Endosymbiotic theory. Although this is labeled a theory, there is striking evidence that shows similarities in both bacteria, and mitochondria and chloroplasts. Tita s sorrow and hopeless love affects her cooking techniques and creates a cake that ironically is supposed to represent and symbolize love and the devotion of marriage, instead it contradicts the traditional aspects of marriage and does the complete opposite; it creates a turmoil atmosphere. Due to Tita s bond with cooking, her emotions plays a significant role in her dishes, and also affects the people around her; whatever mood Tita is feeling, people feel it too. The weeping (39) of the guests at the wedding is triggered by the piece of cake they ate, Tita s tear symbolizes dreadfulness and failure to be with her true love. • 32. Future of an Illusion by Sigmund Freud Essay Future of an Illusion by Sigmund Freud In his book Future of an Illusion, Sigmund Freud utilizes his method of psychoanalysis on religion by comparing the relationship between human and religion to that of a child and his parents. Freud effectively demonstrates that religion is a product of the human mind. After exposing religion as a an illusion, Freud concludes that humanity will be better off when it has forgone religion. This paper will argue that Freud s assertion that religion is an illusion is correct because of it s blatantly traceable evolution through the history of the human civilization and psyche. The first argument that Freud makes in his assault on religion regards civilization. Freud argues that human ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Freud illuminates with slight sarcasm how convenient religion is in it s ability to rectify all the trials and tribulations of life for us. Everything that happens in this world is an expression of the intentions of an intelligence superior to us, which in the end, though its ways and byways are difficult to follow, orders everything for the best. (Freud, 23) The existence of this divine creature who creates justice for us ensures that the masses will not stray from the laws and beliefs of religion and society for fear of being judged by this entity. Religion is also valuable to civilization for it s ability to explain death. Thanks to religion, death became something other than simply the termination of a life. Death stopped being the end and was recasted into the role of a doorway to another existence. As though knowing that the continuation of life were not enough, religion furthers it s own appeal by promising that the afterlife will be better than life on Earth. The afterlife itself also serves a function as well. A desire to gain entry into this afterlife will cause many of the masses to renounce their instincts. Another argument Freud makes is how religion is an attempt to fill in the gaps where civilization and the pursuit of life cannot make individuals happy. The urge to rectify the shortcomings of civilization which made themselves painfully felt is fulfilled by religion. (Freud, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 33. Grissom s Diary Entry Entry #1 Page Range: 1 34 Entry: Dear journal, Carter here. Yesterday we went to the Fifty first Nome in Texas, to attend the Dallas Museum of Art s party that was held by J.D. Grissom, the leader of the Fifty first Nome. We had gone to warn him about the lord of chaos, Apophis, and how he planned to find an artifact, destroy it and kill everyone in the museum. We had met up with J.D. Grissom in the sculpture garden where the main party was being held and warned him of the upcoming threat. He didn t seem to believe us at first, and said The Tut exhibit has been open for a month now. If Apophis was going to strike, wouldn t he have done it already? . We decided it would be better if we explained on the way to the exhibits. As we walked we ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... We did it. Using the spell, and Apophis s shadow that we got before Setne escaped we managed to perform a shadow execration on Apophis. It took a lot of effort and sacrifice though. Getting to him was like walking through a funhouse where the mirrors lead to just more mirrors. We had eventually gotten to his main head, while others were fighting other parts of him deep in the Duat. Along with us, Zia who was hosting the sun god Ra was shooting fire balls at Apophis. It was a crazy mess everywhere. Apophis had two heads and three tails, but only one of each was real. I could feel the pure chaos burrowing into my bones, and killing me from the inside out. For a split second, Zia got distracted, and just as the ancient Egyptians had prophesied, Apophis swallowed Ra and Zia whole. Instantly the Sun disappeared and everything got really dark and cold. The only thing illuminating the area was the red glow of Apophis. Seeing Zia swallowed down by Apophis filled me with so much anger, I blacked out. Sadie says that I lashed out with the crook and flail, leaving wounds that didn t heal. I don t remember any of that. All I remember is seeing Apophis with two steaming wounds across him, oozing the blood of chaos. Then Sadie and I cast the shadow execration and banished him ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
