A Room With A View Lucy is a young woman born and raised in 19th century England, when the
country was in its prime. England was the world power, causing it to be extremely wealthy and a safe
place to live. Lucy and her aunt go on vacation to Italy, and her eyes are opened to a whole other
world. During the time, Italy was a scummy city where the poor lived, but she is able to discover
herself while vacationing there. Within Italy, she finds love, adventure and exhilaration that she could
never experience in her homeland. In A Room with a View by E. M. Foster, Lucy s character is
dynamically developed from uptight and predictable to full of adventure and excitement as she travels
between the prime and proper England to the dirty and unkempt Italy. England is clean, neat and

big influences of Puritan ideology and these ethics were Martin Luther and John Calvin. From them

A state of isolationism was a goal too great for America to handle. America and its leaders had sought
to stay out of both World War I and World War II only to be pulled in by intense happenings that
inflicted chaos on the nations people. World War II would be a time in American history that would
bring many fresh war tactics and developments, that helped to pull a depraved nation from the depths
of a depression as well as pledge the freedom and prosperity of its opposing nations. Dangerous
discoveries will be made in the world would be left to be governed by two world powers. Hoping to
remain a neutral nation and be in a state of isolationism was a dream that would be ended very soon

wanted to indirectly impact Japan, and so on oil embargo was passed, stopping all oil and steel trading
with Japan. This left the island nation of Japan having to seek new resources in South East Asia, and
made the Japanese realize that they could not inflict any relation on America unless it s naval fleet was

Pearl Harbor. On December 7, 1941 Japanese planes attacked Pearl Harbor and destroyed naval

I m double majoring in Criminal Justice and Psychology because further down the road in my life I
would love to be a Criminal Psychologist. I choose these fields because I love being able to
understand why people do what they do. I want to understand why people do things a certain way, just
looking at it in a psychological kind of way. Especially with criminals, what led them to murder that
guy or rape that girl? What pursued them and what part of them thought that it would be acceptable?
I really enjoy the concepts of the criminal justice system and how it works. I grew up in a family that
revolved around emergency units, ranging from EMTS, AEMTS, Prison Guards, Nurses, Police
Officers and so forth. Being around that at the time gave me a love for the field. Understanding the
codes, the high pace calls, honestly, even the hours. I fell in love with the idea of being able to make a
difference in people s lives, and for example, if I was going to be a police officer that is what I would

involvement with mortalities of farmed Pacific Oysters in Tasmania. The first reported POMS
mortality outbreak in Australia was recorded in NSW in 2010. POMS affects Pacific Oysters only,
