3. This was our original logo idea for the production
name of ‘Oaktree Productions’. Even though the
logo is eye catching and memorable, it is more
suited to a cartoon like trailer therefore not
suitable for ours with it being a sci-fi thriller.
This was our first adaptation of the original
Oaktree Production logo. I feel like it is more
suitable than the previous logo but it represents
the horror genre more than sci-fi thriller. It also
seems quite cartoon like and may not seem
professional on our trailer with reference to our
target audience.
4. This was our second adaptation of the original logo.
This logo has a totally different look. We have used a
real photo of a tree and faded the image and edited
the colour to black and white. We have included the
text of the logo name. This logo represents our genre
and target audience more effectively. The only thing I
would change is the font for ‘Oaktree’. The font used
draws too much attention on that word and that bottom
left corner is too busy.
This was our final adaptation of the Oaktree
Production logo. The only thing we have changed
from the previous logo is the font used for the word
‘Oaktree’. It changes what the focus of the image is
and doesn’t overcrowd the photo which allows it to
appear more professional.

6. This was our original logo for Bluemax
Productions. We wanted to incorporate a blue
spherical object for the logo. We located an image
of a blue gas ball and edited in Photoshop where
we also added the text. I like the logo but I think it
seems unprofessional as the text is not aligned.
This was our adaptation. This logo is a lot more
effective and professional looking due to the
creative skills used to make the logo. The sphere
was created on ‘Cinema 4D’.
