Teacher education programs aim to provide quality education and academic excellence in line with university standards. Effective supervision and management of student teachers is important for their personal and academic development when they do practice teaching. The experiences and lessons gained during practice teaching help prepare student teachers to be professional, adhere to laws and contribute to the significance of education through community activities and extension services.

Thus, supervision and management are important keys to
the personal and academic development of the practice
teachers. Moreover, importance of the practice teaching
aims in guiding the future professional teachers to follow
rules and guidelines by virtue of the laws prescribed in
the Philippine constitution that they are adhered to
learning not only on basis of quality instruction and
training but also professionalism. In fact, a number of
experiences they gained and the circumstances that they had
been through the years will serve as stepping stone and
training ground as well in realizing the importance of
