This document describes a student project to design and fabricate a material conveying system using pneumatic cylinders. It was submitted by four students at Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute in partial fulfillment of their Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering. The project involved constructing a frame, belt conveyor assembly, pneumatic cylinder unit, control valve, and electrical relay panel to power the system. The linear motion of the pneumatic cylinder is converted to rotational motion of the belt conveyor through a chain and sprocket assembly. The system is designed to automatically convey materials using compressed air.
