This document describes a project to automate a drilling machine using hydro-pneumatic and pneumatic cylinders for clamping, indexing, and controlling drill feed. The goal is to promote unmanned industry by eliminating labor costs and increasing productivity. A hand drilling machine is clamped to a platform and its drill feed is controlled automatically via a hydro-pneumatic cylinder. The workpiece is indexed to the next drilling position by a pneumatic cylinder. A relay controller and solenoid valves control the drilling and cylinder functions.
