Ans: Photoshop is a graphical program that

existing one. There are two types of images

can choose in photoshop
Ans: There are several modes to choose in
photoshop like
 bitmap
 Gray scale
 RGB
 CMYK( Cyan, magenta, yellow, black)
 lab etc.,
3.How do we create a new file photoshop

To create a New file:
1)Click on ‘New’ from the standard tool bar or

toggle arrow in the right hand corner that

c) Click and drag on the layer to draw the
seleted shape.

How do we work on them?
Ans: We work in layers in photoshop.
Each layer of an image is stacked one on
top of the other in such a manner that
any change made in one layer does not
affect the other.
We can create, hide, duplicate , copy or
delete layers by using the menu that
appears if you right click the layers
palette.
We can also change the order of the
layers by using the layers palette as well
as the layers menu
