The educational system in the Philippines aims to provide quality education for all Filipinos according to the 1987 Constitution. It seeks to foster values like patriotism, human rights, and moral character. 3. Introduction:
Education in the general sense is any act or
experience that has a formative effect on the mind
and character or physicality of an individual
In its technical sense, education is the process by
which society deliberately transmits its accumulated
knowledge, skills and values from one generation to
the next.

8. Pre-School Education: is the learning program given to children
ages three to five or six years in preparation for their formal primary
education. It is also known as nursery, day care, or kindergarten
schooling. Usually under the Social Welfare and Development
Office (DSWD). Teachers are required to have at least units in Early
Childhood Care and Development (ECCD – R.A 8980).
