How Is Blanche Misleading
Sometimes appearances can be misleading. One can set up an illusion for themselves to escape reality.
In a Streetcar Named Desired the three main characters Blanche, Stanley and Stella are perfect
examples of this theory. As all of them appear to be one way but their reality was completely different.
Blanche had to be by far the worst of the three. She tried so hard to make it appear as if she was
royalty. Living a life of riches and fun. Blanche put up a front for so long that she couldn t dictate
from what was true or what she had fabricated. When Blanche said, I received a telegram from an old
admirer of mine (page 1871 author Kelly J. Mays). She begins to fall into a pit of lies that she couldn t
get out of. From that point, she goes into made up stories of how her and Mitch ended. When Stanley
pointed out that what Blanche was saying was made up. I believe hearing it in turn was too much for
Blanche causing her to become disorientated and eventually to a mentally ill state. ... Show more

He seemed as if he disliked Blanche and didn t trust her. He even went to the extent of getting, proof
from the most reliable sources (pg.1858 author Kelly J. Mays) just to find proof to discredit
everything that Blanche had told him and Stella. The truth of the matter was that in fact Stanley lusted
for Blanche. He created the perfect time for them to be alone and jump at the chance to have relations
with Blanche. Even to a certain extent of forcing his self on her because Blanche tried to leave
repeatedly but Stanley wouldn t allow her to until he got what he had set out to get from the
beginning. This didn t stop his façade even after what transpired between him and Blanche he didn t

The Wreck Of The Titanic
About a hundred years has passed since the British passenger liner met its fatal end in the North
Atlantic on April 15, 1912. The RMS Titanic plummeted two miles to the ocean floor after clashing
into an iceberg during its journey to the Port of New York. Over 1,500 people drowned in this
unfortunate event. Ever since the sinking, numerous books and remarkable films have been made,
telling the story of the ship and its passengers. The wreck of the ship was found in 1985 by the coast
of Newfoundland, in the North Atlantic Ocean. Over the years, Titanic s story has made gained
unbelievable public exposure and warns people about the danger of incautiousness. The Steamship,
Titanic, was the end result of fierce competition among competitor ... Show more content on

In 1909, the second of these ships, Titanic, was put into progress and continued to be made nonstop
until the 1911; a long two years. At that time, Titanic was the biggest movable man made object in the
entire world. Over 100,000 people attended the launching of the new luxury boat. The ship s
framework was immediately hauled to a colossal dock where thousands of workers spent most of the
following year building the ship s decks, interiors and boilers that would power the two main steam
engines. Although the Titanic was highly boasted about for being virtually unsinkable, it actually had
many flaws. According to some theories, Titanic was fated to sink from the start. The ship had
watertight bulkheads and electric watertight doors which could be controlled by a switch. It was the
watertight bulkheads that encouraged Shipbuilder magazine to consider the Titanic practically
unsinkable. Unfortunately, the watertight compartment design possessed a major flaw that might have
been a an important factor in Titanic s sinking: although, the individual bulkheads were in fact
watertight, water could spill from one compartment into another. Many of the Titanic s rivals already
had safety features formulated into them in order to prevent this very situation. If White Star had taken
as much caution as its competitor company, it might have rewritten history and prevented the tragedy
of Titanic s sinking. The second crucial

Brotherhood And Morality In SEAL Team Six By Howard Wasdin
In chapters ten and eleven of SEAL Team Six, the primary author, Howard Wasdin utilizes the themes
of morality and brotherhood while depicting the nail biting Operation Gothic Serpent. The purpose of
this operation was to ultimately capture Aidid, or his lieutenants. Military fraternity is crucial to
performing any task. Wasdin s purpose was to stress the importance of the combination of brotherhood
and morality. Wasdin draws the reader into the story by the use of the themes of brotherhood and
morality. Brotherhood has a few different definitions that can both be applied to those involved in
missions. The most common definition of brotherhood is a relationship between brothers. SEALs must
form a relationship with their partners. In this case, Wasdin and Casanova were ... Show more content

SEALs are not allowed to choose their partners, they are just assigned to one another and expected to
make the best of the situation. Even if the pair disagree, they must set aside their differences and learn
how to work as one unit. I had to communicate with Casanova, my partner, and the two of us had to
communicate with the other sniper pair...Then we all had to communicate with our forward operating
base (178). They all had to answer to someone. Brotherhood is also defined as an association, society,
or community of people linked by a common interest, religion, or trade. My teammates and I shared a
similar mindset. We had learned how to control feelings of frustration (224). The military is composed
of many different ranking officers, but each person is vital in succeeding in completing missions. Sure
the SEALs are considered the stars, but what are SEALs without helicopter pilots, CIA agents,
interpreters, and even Defense Language Institute instructors? Everyone has a different job, however,

Alexis De Tocqueville s Political Writings
In 1776, the United States Declaration of Independence swore to life, liberty, and the pursuit of
happiness for all those that live in America. In 1787, the Constitution of the United States granted the
security of the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity . It s blatantly obvious that the
history of America, up until Alexis de Tocqueville wrote Democracy in America, had any of those
attributes been granted wholly. Liberty is relatable to the State of Nature, John Locke describes in his
Political Writings. Liberty is a state of entire freedom in thought, practice, mores, etc. Tocqueville
argues that Liberty is a boundary, an imaginative idea, and almost an unreachable goal in the
Democratic state of America. Tocqueville ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The majority is relatable to the power of estates in the part aristocratic democratic France following
the French Revolution. Whereas, people are unified with their class and power is held within those
who relate to each other. Unlike France, the makeup of the American public is more gentrified to one
type living with a makeup of different ideologies. He states, by coming closer together, they seem to
have found new reasons to hate each other (Tocqueville, 22) America thus forms a majority to
terminate the inconstancies among the state of equality and to faction the population. Tocqueville first
argues the challenge of the majority, freedom of association has become a necessary guarantee against
the tyranny of the majority...the minority must resist the material power that oppresses it...one danger
is set against another more to be feared (Tocqueville, 307). Therefore, there are limitations to the
majority but, it is hard to overcome them as the majority is most powerful. He then describes the
omnipotence of the majority and their power within the law. Ultimately, the majority has the power to
decide what is just and therefore, limit the rights of others (Tocqueville, 410). He states, to preserve
liberty, several principles can be mixed together in the same government...when a society truth comes

Compare And Contrast Hong Kong And America
In this essay , I will choose America be the another country to compare / contrast Hong Kong. In the
following parts, I would like to compare/contrast Hong Kong s and America s childhood, food culture
and Film/Movies.
First and foremost, Hong Kong s childhood is extremely different with America. In Hong Kong,
children are quite pitiful. According to The United Nations Children s Fund (UNICF) pointed out,
children in each day at least have one hour to play, but in fact this is an impossible thing in Hong
Kong because of the Territory wide System Assessment (TSA). Carried out in 2004, the TSA is
compulsory for primary 3, primary 6 and Secondary 3 students. In recent years, the TSA exam drills
begins as early as P1. Some schools request student to buy more than 20 TSA practice books to
practice and attend supplementary drills during the lunchtime, after school and even on holidays. Just
think about it, your children had spent all the time to practice the TSA after they go back home, they
still need to do their homework and revision so how can they have time to play? ... Show more content

First, most of the Hong Kong s children did not have a happy childhood and most of the America s
children have a happy childhood. Second, Hong Kong and America have the same food culture that is
fast food culture. The reason why the fast food culture is popular in Hong Kong and America is
because Hong Kong and America have a quick pace of life, also the fast food advertisement promises
that people did not need to wait for a long time. The most important thing is the fast food is cheap than
western restaurant and the fast food is suit children s taste, so fast food culture is more popular in this
two place. Third, America s film category is more than Hong Kong s film category, but both of them
have famous actors, but Hong Kong s well known actors is less than

How Did Pope John Paul II Have A Free Response To Religion
As displayed in the film, Pope John II , we can see that Pope John Paul II shows many characteristics
of a faith fulfilled man such as, that it is risky and requires a free response. I think a main part in the
movie where his faith is risked is when he denies his girlfriend of pushing their relationship into
something more. He denied her offer. I feel like her had the calling of God to him to become a priest
earlier and that a family and marriage was his thing. He knew that God wanted him to spread the word
of God and help spread His ways rather than creating more children of God. he probably had to think
twice on what he truly wanted for his future. There are a lot of styes when you think about something
about this. He truly risked a lot but he knew whatever he chose his relationship with God would be
strong. Pope John Paul II delayed a free response early in his life when the Nazi s took over hsi town
in Poland during the late 1930 s. There was a lot of Nazi propaganda where he lived and he refused to

Louis Pasteur And Its Effects On Humans
Louis Pasteur made very important contributions to science. He figured out that microorganism scaled
microbes made alcohol and milk go sour. Before his discovery, there was no way to stop beverages
from going bad. Drinking spoiled drinks can have very negative effects on humans. Louis created a
process that destroys the microbes inside of liquids. To do this, you must heat up a liquid to a high
temperature for a short amount of time. He named this revolutionary process pasteurization. In
addition to is amazing achievement, Louis created vaccines for rabies and anthrax.
Louis Pasteur was born on December 27, 1822. He was born in Dole, France. Louis grew up in a town
called Arbois with his father, Jean Joseph Pasteur. Louis father had a ... Show more content on

This is where Louis met his wife, Marie Laurent. Louis married Marie on May 29 in the year 1849.
Marie and Louis had five children. Sadly, only two of these children survived their childhood.
After managing to cope with the death of two of his children, Louis Pasteur was made a professor at
the University of Lille. It was at this university, that Louis tried to find a solution to the problem
manufacturers of alcohol faced at that time. Louis Pasteur, of course, did not invent Germ Theory. He
did however, further develop the theory, and convinced the majority of Europe that this theory is true.
After showing how microorganism affected drinks such as alcohol and milk, Louis then created a
process that was capable of destroying these organisms that put humans in danger. He figured out that
this could be accomplished by boiling, and then cooling a liquid. Louis performed this for the first
time on April 20 in 1862. We later named this process pasteurization, after its inventor.
Louis s knowledge of how microorganisms forms helped him later in life. By using what he knew
about microbes, Pasteur saved the silk industry. Pasteur proved to silk manufacturers that microbes
were responsible for the silk shortage. The microbes were attacking silkworm eggs. By doing this, the
silkworms caught a disease. Louis realized that if the microbes were killed, the disease would cease to
exist. And of course, Louis s hypothesis was correct, and by

Who Is Donald Trump A Good President
Grab them by the pussy! Donald J. Trump, the newly elected president of the United States is known
for his demeaning remarks against women and Latin American immigrants. Many people believe that
anyone who oversteps the boundaries of good taste and manner is unfit to be a leader in a company or
any organisation. However, proper manners are not what make a company successful. A leader cannot
care about every opinion if he bring his or his organization s agenda forward.
Why do many people believe that leaders with personal indiscretions are unfit? The argument is that
they present a bad example for others. A leader who displays a lack of empathy will instill the same in
his followers. If my president does it, why shouldn t I, too? Supporters at Donald Trump s rallies often
became violent at protestors or immigrants, directly incinerated by Trump s speeches. Here Trump
was clearly a bad image for other people. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

right wall and a pool table in the middle of the room. Aside from Billingsly, who was talking to
someone, the place appeared deserted. Billingsly introduced me to an Airman Tom Simpson from
Huntington, West Virginia. Airman Simpson was about twenty and was shorter than me with a little
more bulk. Despite the common misconception that the men of West Virginia were isolated rough and
rugged mountain boys, Simpson was charismatic and outgoing. Billingsly also introduced me to the
snack bar attendant and told her it is my first day on the island. She greeted me with a warm smile and
welcomed me to the PI. Billingsly and Simpson work together on day flight so Billingsly asked
Simpson if he wanted to go on my base tour followed by a downtown excursion. Simpson perked up
as soon as he heard downtown and almost knocked us down heading for the door. As we left the
barracks parking lot, I was overwhelmed by the sheer size and lack of perimeter fence to keep
unauthorized personnel from entering the base. That explained the considerable need for the 3rd

The other unpredictability that the Fed works with is the Money Multiplier; the factor by which the
Monetary Base will increase or decrease, for money that the Fed is releasing into or taking out of the
system. On the surface it may seem simple, it appears the Fed is trying to use the money supply as a
lever to keep the economy on the right track without de railing it. But on the contrary, it takes complex
analyses to find the balance between key macroeconomic variables in light of these ever changing
times. (Online Simulation)
_The Effects of Monetary Policy on the Economy_
Policy is implemented by raising and lowering the interest rate, affecting the demand for goods and
services from consumers and businesses alike. There are two types interest rates, real rate of interest
and the nominal rate of interest. According to McConnell and Brue, p.146, The real interest rate is the
percentage increase in purchasing power that the borrower pays the lender. The nominal interest rate is
the percentage increase in money that the borrower pays the lender, including that resulting from the
built in expectation of inflation, if any. The interest rate affects both consumers and businesses
demand for goods and services. The consumers demand is affected by changes in real interest rates. If
this rate is increased, it alters the costs of borrowing on credit, banks availability to loan money,
household incomes, and foreign exchange rates. If real interest rates are lowered,

The Tokugawa Period
The Tokugawa era: A country of tranquility With all the struggle the Japanese went though, they
finally were grasping a sense of themselves. This age of curiosity and exploration of a country, that the
world would later know as Japan, was called the Tokugawa period. As a result of their newfound self,
came art and more specifically, woodblock prints. These woodblock prints are significant to the
Tokugawa era because they reflected what was going on during that period, including: what was
currently happening, how the people viewed the world, and what new discoveries were made. During
the Tokugawa era, the woodblock prints show that this was a time of peace because of the often travel,

There is also travel, if not, more than the woodblock Okitsu shows. The boats show that great masses
of people travel on those boats and are fishing. These clues tell a story of a country that is curious to

Furthermore, Tsukudajima displays a time of peace because of the economic growth and beauty nature
held over the people. These boats suggest that there are goods being imported and exported and Japan
is earning money, therefore an economy is growing. Moreover, the beauty of Tsukudajima s starry
night, almond eye moon, and colorful sky sitting on the horizon indicates that nature holds a power
over the artists. Since the moon looks like the shape of an almond eye, the artist probably sees the
moon as a guardian, which suggests that the people praised nature. Likewise, the starry night adds a
feeling of comfort and happiness. A tiny village is resting upon the water and there are no flames or
fighting. Finally, the colorful gradient end of a sunset contains warm colors like: orange, pink, yellow,
and beige, which give off a majestic and pleasant

Bird Imagery In Macbeth

Macbeth Analysis Macbeth, written in the early 1600 s by William Shakespeare, is an epic play that
follows the course of the twisted war general, Macbeth. Throughout Macbeth, Shakespeare uses bird
imagery to foreshadow events, better describe characters, and also give a detailed setting. Birds such
as the Eagle and falcon are powerful icons, while birds of the night such as the crow and the owl give
off a more eerie sense as predators. Their presence in the story is critical for a better understanding of
the plot. Upon Macbeth s triumphant victory over the forces of Macdonwald, King Duncan asks for a

Were they burying him alive? Panic burned in his stomach but light still made its way to his

Mexico Drug War Essay
Many drug rehab centers have been carefully watching Mexico s drug war in an attempt to bring
public awareness and support for drug prevention efforts. Drug treatment professionals have also been
working with anti drug and human rights campaigns in long suffering Ciudad Juarez.
In 2007, the president of Mexico, Felipe Calderon, aggressively waged a battle on drug traffickers.
Regrettably the toll on human life has been unbearable. In 4 years, over 28,000 people have been
killed. These killings are due to shootouts between drug traffickers and police, opposing drug gangs or
slayings connected to drug use. The bulk of these unnecessary deaths take place in the Northern
Mexico border area where cartels wage a lethal war over import routes to the United States. The most
noteworthy cartels are the Sinaloa and Beltran Leyva and La Familia. The Zetas, who offer security to
the Gulf Cartel were built from former members of the military and now work privately.
The intensity of killings shows just how valuable these import routes are to the cartels. This is a billion
dollar a year business that results in people from the United States becoming hooked on drugs. There
is strong pressure from the leaders of these drug cartels all the way down to the petty criminals dealing
drugs on the street with dangerous retaliations waiting for those who don t produce. This means that ...

Batman Masculinity
The way our society views what it means to be a man is shaped by family, community, and popular
culture. While the narrow definition of acceptable masculinity has expanded in the last three decades,
there is still a great amount of anxiety and pressure over being the right kind of man. Like many of my
generation, gender performance and masculinity were formed by reading and watching superhero
narratives as a youth. What were the deeper messages in those stories that engrossed our weekends
and evening hours and what do they say about us as a society?
A perfect microcosm of how gender is treated in the genre was the way Batman and The Joker in
graphic novels were reshaped by changing demands of masculinity. In the 1980 s two graphic ... Show

As Alan Moore had dismissed Morrison when he had asked for Moore permission to continue working
on a series, he had left. Alan Moore style of writing takes a naturalistic tone whenever possible and
has his characters grapple with insecurity and neuroses. Grant Morrison said...
I don t think it was right for super heroes to be bogged down with real world problems. I was more
interested in going into their world, I wanted to find out, what it was like in there... where the sky was
always blue and everything was primary colored. Where time was represented by boxes and you can

This funhouse mirror that the two writers have towards each other work is reflected in how women are
used in these stories. As female characters are approached with opposite motifs, Arkham Asylum has
no female characters and only alludes to the feminine in relation to sexual violence and how it is

The program is set up to make you open your mind to new ideas, because it is required in the college
atmosphere. If Converse College required their incoming freshmen class to read Approaching the Qur

Islam particularity in southern states, which is where most Converse students originated. But I do not
believe that Converse students would refuse to read their assigned book, because they know that
Converse values acceptance of any religion, race, and sexuality. But if this issue did arise, I believe the
Board of Converse College would take a similar approach to the issue like UNC, by making the
assignment optional to students. But still requiring student to participate in their group discussion. The
option would be up to the students.
In this case study, lots of questions were left unanswered. Such as were the discussion sessions still

UNC approach the book selection for their Summer Reading program in years to come?. I wish this
case study included the answers to these questions. However, this case study did illustrate how a

Primary Source Vs Secondary Source Analysis
The major differences that exist between primary source and secondary source authors are its
reliability and credibility. Secondary source authors hold certain disadvantages in that the authors did
not directly experience the actual event, meaning that they do not have a first hand account of the
experience that occurred. Because these secondary source authors were not affected, their information
could contain inaccurate data, or their opinions askew due to their lack of a direct experience.
Although secondary sources may have their disadvantages, secondary source authors have the ability
to analyze, interpret, evaluate, and synthesize the original events and data that could not be done
initially due to time constraints. With the ability to analyze statistics and documents, authors can
construct explanations and justifications as to why these events arose. ... Show more content on

A New Covenant With The House Of Judah
The days are surely coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel
and the house of Judah. 32 It will not be like the covenant that I made with their ancestors when I took
them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt a covenant that they broke, though I was their
husband, says the Lord. 33 But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those
days, says the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts; and I will be
their God, and they shall be my people. 34 No longer shall they teach one another, or say to each
other, Know the Lord, for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, says the Lord;
for I will forgive their iniquity, and remember their sin no more.
34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know
the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the
LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. (Jeremiah 31:31 34)

After the Crimean War (1854 56) the econmoy in Russia slowly begun to develop.
Alexander II set the development of a railwail bulding programm and a limited spread of factories.
But Russia s economy was still not as well developed as that in western Europe. So a real
industrialisation took of in the reign of Alexander III and the help of Nicholas II s finance minsters

The main point of those developments, was imporoving Russia s finances and buliding up the gold

Russia begun to nationalise the railway companies in the 1880s. By 1905 nearly 66 percen of the
whole railway system was state owned. The most important railway line was the Trans Siberian

new railway lines linked the major areas of industrial producion and those with markets or ports.
So building these railway lines also helped the development of the industries along their length.
The development of iron and coal industries in the area of Moskow, St. Petersburg, the Baltic coast and
the Ural Mountains to the east was heavily. This industrial growth helped Russia being the fourth
largest industrail economy in those times.
However there was more trade with grain than with industrial goods.

Colombia gained its independence in the late 1800s from Spanish forces due to the efforts of Simon

Hemodialysis
Dialysis
The kidneys are important organ in the body. It helps regulate extracellular fluid and excrete waste
products from the body. The kidneys also function to control blood pressure, produce erythropoietin,
activate vitamin D, and regulate acid base balance. When the kidneys fail to function, or work as they
should, dialysis is needed. Dialysis restores internal homeostasis by osmosis, diffusion, and
ultrafiltration. It can sustain life for people who have acute and chronic renal failure. There are two
different types of dialysis, hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. Hemodialysis is a dialysis that uses an

Depending on the dialysis treatment used, protein and other essential electrolytes are either removed
or retained. It is essential to monitor laboratory values and to perform proper assessments to assure the
patient is receiving the best care possible. Peritoneal dialysis tends to extract protein. Knowing this, a
patient who is on peritoneal dialysis would be on a high protein diet to compensate for this loss.
Potassium is usually individualized depending on laboratory values and the extent of the disease. A
patient undergoing hemodialysis should maintain a daily allowance intake of two to three grams per
day, whereas a patient using peritoneal dialysis is not restricted of potassium. Sodium level should be
maintained and monitored throughout dialysis. While sodium intake is individualized, considerations
must be taken to limit high sodium diets such as processed foods, canned foods, and cured meats.
When the kidney function deteriorates, phosphorus is retained causing hyperphosphatemia. Since
phosphate is found in many protein food sources, phosphate binders are essential to control

Compare and Contrast Communism, Socialism, and Capitalism
What is communism? Communism is a term used broadly to designate a theory or system of social
organization based on the holding of all property in common, actual ownership being ascribed to the
community as a whole or to the state. It refers to the doctrine which underlines the revolutionary
movement which aims to abolish capitalism and ultimately to establish a society in which all goods
will be socially owned, all economic activates socially planned and controlled, and in which all
distributions will be in accordance with the maxim. German author Emil Ludwig described the maxim
as for each according to his capacity, to each according to his need. (1) It is to be distinguished from

As mentions before socialism is the doctrine that espouses public ownership or control of a major
means of production. It aims to achieve an equitable and efficient distribution of social goods and
greater economic planning then exist under capitalism. Although the central concerns of socialism
appears to be economic its ramifications extend to the moral, social and political realms, in fact
together with nationalism, it is the leading ideological and political movement of the 20th century. It is
considered to be the transitional phase between the capitalism and communism. Thus, you would find
all communists advocating for socialism because it lays the foundations for communism. It advocates
an egalitarian society where everyone shares equal wealth and power. There is a considerable
disagreement over how the distribution should take place. Hence, socialism can be said to be between
extreme capitalism and extreme communism with it being nearer to communism. Socialism is liberal.
More people have say in how the economy works. (5) The basic principles of contempary socialism
have their origin in the economic, social and cultural transformations of Europe which occurred during
the 18th and 19th centuries. Contributing factors were the Industrial Revolution and the rise of the
bourgeois and proletarian classes, the enlightenment s secular and rationalistic view of men and

Reasons To Love The Iphone X
The IPhone X is the newest and possibly greatest IPhone yet, but we can t forget the previous IPhone
s. Such as the IPhone SE, my very first phone and my very favorite. There are many reasons to love
the IPhone SE, for example, its price, size, camera and battery. Even though these are reasons to love
the IPhone SE, these examples come with benefits, then also come with cons. My first review about
the IPhone SE is about the price. It is around 400 or 500 dollars, which in my opinion should be a little
less money than what it is, such as 200 or 300 dollars, but what would make it cost this much is the
updates. The updates make it worth the price because of the great things they do for the phone, like

First off, according to many websites and businesses the IPhone SE s battery lasts about 9.5 hours, and
the IPhone 6s battery only lasts 7.45 hours. Which is great for people who take their phones
everywhere and need them. Also, even if the battery runs low, say 20%, the battery saver that you can
turn on for your phone could make it last almost twice as long as it should, which is also a great thing
to have for your phone, but if your tabs are open on your IPhone, it makes the battery drain very fast.
The amount of tabs you have open can affect the battery by about 20%, but the solution to that is easy;
just close your tabs! The final review I had in mind is about the camera quality. On many websites I
have read that the IPhone SE quality is not the best and could use some work, but I believe otherwise.
Let s start with the zoom: The camera zoom I would say has exceptionally good quality, even though
Apple decided to keep the front facing camera on the iPhone SE practically identical to the iPhone 5s.
One problem about the camera is the sometimes blurriness that happens. Say you were on a trip and
you saw some spectacular bird fly across your view and you had only a few seconds to get the perfect
picture, so you whip out your phone and are ready to take the picture when you notice the screen is
blurry. You try so hard to get it unblurred but the camera cannot focus one the one object you want the

However, according to Dennis Dougherty, the allocations followed the thumbnail methods which were
too brief even though inaccuracies were removed while using them (Merchant amp; Van der Stede
2007). In order to gain control over the allocation of resources throughout the university and also to
balance the monies being distributed amongst the revenue centres a system of participation/subvention
was used by the university administrators. These participations were mere equal contributions (20% of
the total tuition fees, sales and service income, and indirect cost recoveries) from all revenue centres
and were redistributed back to them as block grants called subventions and these participations were
portrayed as negative and subventions as positive indirect income. These features in fact enabled
university administrators to focus on university priorities and goals. In allocating subventions their
main focus was firstly on differentials in the costs of educating students in different fields and
secondly, the revenue centres cost/quality ratios. There was a variation in the cost of educating
students from one school to another, for example, business education is cheaper than the music
education but the university tends to charge the same tuition fees to both of them. To balance this cost
disparity the subvention allocation was used. There was also an issue with the cost/academic
excellence ratios. A school that has

Abolition Of Pennies
The U.S have been producing pennies for over a 200 years now and over time it has become very
useless to the society. A penny is only one cent and to most people that is worthless. Pennies were
more valued around the 1950s, when the products were very cheap to buy. As technology evolved, and
as products got more expensive, the use of dollar bills and greater got more valuable. The abolition of
the penny needs to happen in the United States. Because pennies are outdated, therefore the United
States should abolish the pennies, since there s no single products that can be purchased with a penny.

How Technology Is Impacting Globalization
Globalization is the process by which people, businesses and countries become more connected and
interdependent. With new technology it has become so much easier to access data, from anywhere in
the world. The world has many problems that cannot be fixed without globalization and by moving
towards one global culture. The world is moving towards one global culture because different cultures
are adapting and sharing ideas of others that are gradually changing the way people in these cultures
live. The world will benefit with globalization because it will increase the interaction and relationships
between countries, and improve technology to create a stronger plan on how to protect the
environment.
Technology is impacting globalization. Transportation, cheap telephone service, email, computers and
instant capital flows made the world more interdependent. Travel, communication, and interaction
between countries has increased. This interaction between countries has moved the world towards one
global culture because it will help with improving long standing problems such as the environment.
For example, climate change has threatened the well being of citizens around the world. Food and
water shortage are just a few examples. Moving towards one global society can help eliminate some of
these problems by creating a stronger system of providing resources with food and water shortages to
vulnerable countries. Technology can help detect natural disasters sooner to bring awareness to

  • 2. How Is Blanche Misleading Sometimes appearances can be misleading. One can set up an illusion for themselves to escape reality. In a Streetcar Named Desired the three main characters Blanche, Stanley and Stella are perfect examples of this theory. As all of them appear to be one way but their reality was completely different. Blanche had to be by far the worst of the three. She tried so hard to make it appear as if she was royalty. Living a life of riches and fun. Blanche put up a front for so long that she couldn t dictate from what was true or what she had fabricated. When Blanche said, I received a telegram from an old admirer of mine (page 1871 author Kelly J. Mays). She begins to fall into a pit of lies that she couldn t get out of. From that point, she goes into made up stories of how her and Mitch ended. When Stanley pointed out that what Blanche was saying was made up. I believe hearing it in turn was too much for Blanche causing her to become disorientated and eventually to a mentally ill state. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... He seemed as if he disliked Blanche and didn t trust her. He even went to the extent of getting, proof from the most reliable sources (pg.1858 author Kelly J. Mays) just to find proof to discredit everything that Blanche had told him and Stella. The truth of the matter was that in fact Stanley lusted for Blanche. He created the perfect time for them to be alone and jump at the chance to have relations with Blanche. Even to a certain extent of forcing his self on her because Blanche tried to leave repeatedly but Stanley wouldn t allow her to until he got what he had set out to get from the beginning. This didn t stop his façade even after what transpired between him and Blanche he didn t change his act of not liking her even when she left their ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. The Wreck Of The Titanic About a hundred years has passed since the British passenger liner met its fatal end in the North Atlantic on April 15, 1912. The RMS Titanic plummeted two miles to the ocean floor after clashing into an iceberg during its journey to the Port of New York. Over 1,500 people drowned in this unfortunate event. Ever since the sinking, numerous books and remarkable films have been made, telling the story of the ship and its passengers. The wreck of the ship was found in 1985 by the coast of Newfoundland, in the North Atlantic Ocean. Over the years, Titanic s story has made gained unbelievable public exposure and warns people about the danger of incautiousness. The Steamship, Titanic, was the end result of fierce competition among competitor ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In 1909, the second of these ships, Titanic, was put into progress and continued to be made nonstop until the 1911; a long two years. At that time, Titanic was the biggest movable man made object in the entire world. Over 100,000 people attended the launching of the new luxury boat. The ship s framework was immediately hauled to a colossal dock where thousands of workers spent most of the following year building the ship s decks, interiors and boilers that would power the two main steam engines. Although the Titanic was highly boasted about for being virtually unsinkable, it actually had many flaws. According to some theories, Titanic was fated to sink from the start. The ship had watertight bulkheads and electric watertight doors which could be controlled by a switch. It was the watertight bulkheads that encouraged Shipbuilder magazine to consider the Titanic practically unsinkable. Unfortunately, the watertight compartment design possessed a major flaw that might have been a an important factor in Titanic s sinking: although, the individual bulkheads were in fact watertight, water could spill from one compartment into another. Many of the Titanic s rivals already had safety features formulated into them in order to prevent this very situation. If White Star had taken as much caution as its competitor company, it might have rewritten history and prevented the tragedy of Titanic s sinking. The second crucial ... • 4. Brotherhood And Morality In SEAL Team Six By Howard Wasdin In chapters ten and eleven of SEAL Team Six, the primary author, Howard Wasdin utilizes the themes of morality and brotherhood while depicting the nail biting Operation Gothic Serpent. The purpose of this operation was to ultimately capture Aidid, or his lieutenants. Military fraternity is crucial to performing any task. Wasdin s purpose was to stress the importance of the combination of brotherhood and morality. Wasdin draws the reader into the story by the use of the themes of brotherhood and morality. Brotherhood has a few different definitions that can both be applied to those involved in missions. The most common definition of brotherhood is a relationship between brothers. SEALs must form a relationship with their partners. In this case, Wasdin and Casanova were ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... SEALs are not allowed to choose their partners, they are just assigned to one another and expected to make the best of the situation. Even if the pair disagree, they must set aside their differences and learn how to work as one unit. I had to communicate with Casanova, my partner, and the two of us had to communicate with the other sniper pair...Then we all had to communicate with our forward operating base (178). They all had to answer to someone. Brotherhood is also defined as an association, society, or community of people linked by a common interest, religion, or trade. My teammates and I shared a similar mindset. We had learned how to control feelings of frustration (224). The military is composed of many different ranking officers, but each person is vital in succeeding in completing missions. Sure the SEALs are considered the stars, but what are SEALs without helicopter pilots, CIA agents, interpreters, and even Defense Language Institute instructors? Everyone has a different job, however, everyone shares the common ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. Alexis De Tocqueville s Political Writings In 1776, the United States Declaration of Independence swore to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for all those that live in America. In 1787, the Constitution of the United States granted the security of the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity . It s blatantly obvious that the history of America, up until Alexis de Tocqueville wrote Democracy in America, had any of those attributes been granted wholly. Liberty is relatable to the State of Nature, John Locke describes in his Political Writings. In the following parts, I would like to compare/contrast Hong Kong s and America s childhood, food culture and Film/Movies. First and foremost, Hong Kong s childhood is extremely different with America. In Hong Kong, children are quite pitiful. According to The United Nations Children s Fund (UNICF) pointed out, children in each day at least have one hour to play, but in fact this is an impossible thing in Hong Kong because of the Territory wide System Assessment (TSA). Carried out in 2004, the TSA is compulsory for primary 3, primary 6 and Secondary 3 students. In recent years, the TSA exam drills begins as early as P1. Some schools request student to buy more than 20 TSA practice books to practice and attend supplementary drills during the lunchtime, after school and even on holidays. Although the central concerns of socialism appears to be economic its ramifications extend to the moral, social and political realms, in fact together with nationalism, it is the leading ideological and political movement of the 20th century. It is considered to be the transitional phase between the capitalism and communism. Thus, you would find all communists advocating for socialism because it lays the foundations for communism. It advocates an egalitarian society where everyone shares equal wealth and power. There is a considerable disagreement over how the distribution should take place. Hence, socialism can be said to be between extreme capitalism and extreme communism with it being nearer to communism. Socialism is liberal. More people have say in how the economy works. Even though these are reasons to love the IPhone SE, these examples come with benefits, then also come with cons. My first review about the IPhone SE is about the price. It is around 400 or 500 dollars, which in my opinion should be a little less money than what it is, such as 200 or 300 dollars, but what would make it cost this much is the updates. First off, according to many websites and businesses the IPhone SE s battery lasts about 9.5 hours, and the IPhone 6s battery only lasts 7.45 hours. Which is great for people who take their phones everywhere and need them. Also, even if the battery runs low, say 20%, the battery saver that you can turn on for your phone could make it last almost twice as long as it should, which is also a great thing to have for your phone, but if your tabs are open on your IPhone, it makes the battery drain very fast. The amount of tabs you have open can affect the battery by about 20%, but the solution to that is easy; just close your tabs! The final review I had in mind is about the camera quality. On many websites I have read that the IPhone SE quality is not the best and could use some work, but I believe otherwise. Let s start with the zoom: The camera zoom I would say has exceptionally good quality, even though Apple decided to keep the front facing camera on the iPhone SE practically identical to the iPhone 5s. One problem about the camera is the sometimes blurriness that happens. Say you were on a trip and you saw some spectacular bird fly across your view and you had only a few seconds to get the perfect picture, so you whip out your phone and are ready to take the picture when you notice the screen is blurry. However, according to Dennis Dougherty, the allocations followed the thumbnail methods which were too brief even though inaccuracies were removed while using them (Merchant amp; Van der Stede 2007). In order to gain control over the allocation of resources throughout the university and also to balance the monies being distributed amongst the revenue centres a system of participation/subvention was used by the university administrators. These participations were mere equal contributions (20% of the total tuition fees, sales and service income, and indirect cost recoveries) from all revenue centres and were redistributed back to them as block grants called subventions and these participations were portrayed as negative and subventions as positive indirect income. These features in fact enabled university administrators to focus on university priorities and goals. In allocating subventions their main focus was firstly on differentials in the costs of educating students in different fields and secondly, the revenue centres cost/quality ratios. There was a variation in the cost of educating students from one school to another, for example, business education is cheaper than the music education but the university tends to charge the same tuition fees to both of them. To balance this cost disparity the subvention allocation was used. There was also an issue with the cost/academic excellence ratios. A school that has ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The world is moving towards one global culture because different cultures are adapting and sharing ideas of others that are gradually changing the way people in these cultures live. The world will benefit with globalization because it will increase the interaction and relationships between countries, and improve technology to create a stronger plan on how to protect the environment.
