The Basic Principle of Close Range Terrestrial Photogrammetry
The basic principle of close range (terrestrial) photogrammetry will be explained in this section.
Photogrammetry is the art and science of deriving accurate metric and descriptive information from
analog and digital images (Habib et al., 2006; Habib Ghanma Al Ruzouq Kim a; Ayman Paper A.F.
Habib, K.I. Bang, M. Aldelgawy). Wolf, 1983 defined the photogrammetry as the art, science and
technology of obtaining reliable information about physical objects and environment through the
process of recording, measuring and interpreting photographic images and patterns of electromagnetic
radiant imagery and other phenomena. It is obviously stated, in the definition, that photogrammetry
can be used 3D model of real objects for many areas of discipline such as geological and geotechnical
engineering, archeology, architecture, biomedical engineering, civil engineering, and environmental
science. Photogrammetry is non intrusive, cost effective, is ideal for recording data of a complex
nature, has high level of achievable accuracy, uses digital data which results in total flexibility across a
multitude of platforms, plus images may be catalog and compared over time. The 3D data from
imagery reconstructed through a photogrammetric triangulation (bundle adjustment) technique using
converging overlapping images from different viewpoints around the area of interest.
Photogrammetry can be divided into two categories: aerial and close range (terrestrial)
photogrammetry. Aerial photogrammetry

The Creation Of Greek Theogony
The creation of Theogony of Creation of man on Greek Mythology.com shows how Greek Gods
created man.
Chaos was the first God. The Erebus came and him and Night gave birth to the heavenly light, Day,
the earthly light. Night alone created Doom, Fate, Death, Sleep, Dreams, Nemesis, and all things that
dwell to darkness. Gaea married her son and they gave made the three Cyclopes, the three
Hecatoncheires, and the twelve Titans.
Uranus was a cruel father and husband. He hated the Hecatoncheires and imprisoned them. Gaea got
mad and turned against Uranus. Her youngest son, Cronus was not afraid.
Cronus cut his father and threw him into the ocean. Out of Uranus s body came Aphrodite. After
killing Uranus, Cronus became the next leader.

Chadwick s Class Structure
The transportation changed greatly from horse drawn carriages to electric powered street cars that
were more comfortable and faster, this also meant the roads needed to be wider like they were made in
France after the revolutions by Napoleon the 3rd. Public health was made better by people like Edwin
chadwick who was an advocate for better sewer systems and cleaner factories. The class structure
changed a great amount due to reform in the government to make a middle class made up of skilled
workers and unskilled workers, this led to the class structure being more balanced and rich people
didn t control everything like the old times. Family life changed because men were seen as the bread
winner and didn t need to spend time with his family

The number of trips taken by Britons overseas has declined by 12.6 million, from 69.4 million to 56.8
million between 2007 and 2011, according to the research by Travelodge. This means that 5.9 million
holidays and trips have come out of the market altogether when the number of domestic holidays and
trips are factored in. This is shy of the government s stated ambition for domestic trips to replace the
number of missing overseas trips, the report says. However, the analysis shows that staycation breaks
were up by 5.6% as the recession proved that holidays are an essential rather than a luxury. UK city
breaks account for 23% of domestic tourism but seaside towns are in decline by 5%. Total tourism
revenue was up 12.6% to £40 billion between 2007 2011 against the general economy up 8%.
Employment numbers in tourism have bucked the wider trend, thanks to strong growth in 2011 when
120,000 new jobs were created. The UK s appeal as a tourist destination endured during the double
dip, with overall visitor numbers up by 3.1% to 157.4 million, the report shows. Staycations form the
backbone of the tourism economy, with domestic trips and holidays increasing by 5.6% to 126.6
million.

Liver Failure Research Paper
What can cause liver failure?
Liver failure occurs when liver cells are damaged significantly and are no longer able to function. The
cause of liver failure varies widely throughout the world. Drugs toxicity is more common in United
States Western countries while HBV infection is a leading cause in India, France and Japan. Common
causes include:
Acetaminophen overdose. Minimal hepatotoxic dose is 7.5 gm in adults, 150 mg/kg in children and
severe toxicity is seen with dose 15 gm. It is a common mode of attempted suicide.
Hepatotropic viruses. Hepatitis A virus, hepatitis B infections and hepatitis E can cause liver failure.

skullcap and pennyroyal tea, are linked to acute liver failure.
Toxins. Toxins that can cause acute liver failure include the sea anemone sting , poisonous wild
mushroom Amanita phalloides, which is sometimes mistaken for edible species.
Autoimmune disease. Liver failure can be caused by autoimmune hepatitis a disease in which your
immune system attacks liver cells, causing inflammation and injury.
Diseases of the veins in the liver. Vascular diseases, such as Budd Chiari syndrome, can cause
blockages in the veins of the liver, leading to acute liver failure.
Metabolic disease. Rare metabolic diseases, such as Wilson s disease infrequently cause acute liver
failure.

Baby Suggs Dichotomy
While the lash marks from whippings remain on their skins, the former slaves within Toni Morrison s
Beloved are scarred most by their mental trauma. While connecting to the community is used as part
of the healing process, Morrison abolishes the concept that all communities are healing. Specifically,
communities in which the relations of power are equal and members treated as ends in themselves are
critical in overcoming adversity, while an imbalance of power, as well as seclusion, can incite the
trauma from the beginning.
The dichotomy between collective support and an individual in isolation is evaporated as Paul D,
struggles both in isolation and still faces deindividuation at the community of Sweet Home. Paul D,

Baby Suggs plays a critical role in self and communal healing as according to Cynthia, Baby Suggs
definitive self is a direct result of her rejecting the name given to her by white patriarchy... Baby
Suggs never suffers from a loss of identity because of slavery . Despite not knowing her real name,
Baby Suggs affirms her own identity. Requiring no identity from her masters, parents, or even lover,
Baby Suggs is the most self actualized of all characters; while still needing her son s help to legally be
free, internally Baby Suggs is self driven., she is the marrow that creates her own blood, the heart that
pumps it, and the muscles that propel herself forward. Baby Suggs goes on to use her skills in the
Clearing to provide communal therapy for others. The Clearing acts as a curative force and the
antithesis of harmful collectives such as Sweet Home; laughing children, dancing men, crying women
and then it got mixed up (103) animates the contrast between the two types of community as the
Clearing is depicted as a community that is an extension of the identities that form it, with synergy
between its members as the laughter, crying, and dancing coalesce into one state of being. While the
former slaves are physically free, their emotions remain incarcerated within them until they are
emancipated through communion at the Clearing. Meanwhile, the community of Pauls at Sweet Home
differ from the Clearing as it is a subversive community intended to mill away at each Pauls sense of
self. Like an ant starving alone from its colony, a starling roosting away from its flock, or an angel
failing isolated from its god, Toni Morrison in her magnum opus Beloved undoubtedly unveils the
universally applicable principle of

Analysis Of Dubliners By James Joyce
Dubliners by James Joyce compiles a variety of snapshots of life and culture; it captures people with
very different situations and backgrounds all against the backdrop of early 20th century Dublin.
Though the characters are not tethered to reality, the themes often relate directly to events in Joyce s
experience (Gray). The stories in totality do not follow one constant plot, but if one story can be said
to represent the collection as a whole, it is certainly The Dead. The final story in the series, The Dead
encapsulates the entirety of feelings that Joyce has towards Dublin and connects Joyce with the
narrative in an indirect but powerful way. Each of the other stories contains elements, symbols, or
motifs that support or relate to those within The Dead. Love, loss, alcoholism, money, and other
themes are tools; the reader may learn from them through the ways that Joyce s characters view them.
Ireland was Joyce s home, but despite his love for the country, he disliked how lethargic it had
become. He distanced himself from the its inability to embrace a changing world. Dubliners is not
simply a criticism of the Irish, however. Though the first fourteen stories demonstrate Joyce s
judgements on the different manifestations of Dubliners paralysis, The Dead written several years
after the others and while Joyce was no longer living in Ireland reveals Joyce s own altered perception
of the condition of Irish culture (Gray). The central purpose of Dubliners is to

Disillusionment In Frankenstein
Contemporary literature reflects on contemporary life and culture. It is sometimes reflected by a
persons disillusionment. In the novel Frankenstein by Mary Shelley love glorified nature, dreams and
visions, the power of the individual, and one s emotions and feelings about something. In Mary
Shelley s Frankenstein, the character of the creature discovers a lack of love and passion within Victor
toward him which represents that man s need to inspire love causes him to become evil. In regards to
the character of Victor Frankenstein, he show his love for science. Shelley portrays love as a
contemporary monster.
Love is seen through the novel, while there are many events that influence the choices of Frankenstein
s main character, the most basic element of the monster s motivation hinders upon his search for love.

His need to demand a creature of another sex so that he can dig in dreams of bliss that cannot be

feature of his character (Shelley). Therefore, the monster s desire for Victor to make another creature
to be his significant other represents the monster s want for love, which for a time overrides his desire
for revenge. Interestingly, the monster s desire is important when one considers that Frankenstein
features non traditional case of love. By having the monster beg for a companion that will encircle the
traditional aspects of a human relationship comparable to the period of the book, Shelley adds to the
psychological makeup of the monster. This is because regardless of his non human nature, the monster
desire to have a functional relationship in the novel that contains many dysfunctional relationships

Mindy Grossman: An Emotionally Intelligent Leader
Emotional intelligence is a phrase used in the business world to explain one s competency in
displaying and handling one s own emotions as well as the emotions of others around him or her. In
his book, Working With Emotional Intelligence, Daniel Goleman explains the importance of
Emotional Intelligence and how it is more imperative for one to have high Emotional Intelligence
rather than a high IQ. This is because, no matter how talented someone may be in their line of work,
he or she must still be able to work well with others and express their ideas. Goleman categorizes
Emotional Intelligence into five emotional elements and then further into emotional competencies. He

VP, President and CEO of companies including Chaps Ralph Lauren, Ralph Lauren Corp., Polo Jeans
Co., Nike, Inc. and most recently HSN, Inc. (Grossman 44). In her time as the CEO of HSN, Inc. she
has displayed immense Emotional Intelligence and because of that, was able to transform the
company. Grossman displays a wide array of emotional competencies spanning all of the five
emotional elements as described by Goleman: self awareness, self regulation, motivation, empathy
and social skills.
An area of Emotional Intelligence where Grossman thrives is her excelled self awareness. Goleman
describes self awareness as knowing one s internal states, preferences, resources and institutions
(Working With Emotional Intelligence, 26). In other words, it is one s ability to introspectively assess
his or her strengths and weaknesses. Further, Goleman categorizes emotional awareness, accurate self
assessment, and self confidence within self awareness. Self awareness is a critical competence to
display because it is one s ability to know him or herself. Without understanding oneself, it would be
impossible to know how to improve or which areas to improve. Similarly, without this self awareness,
one is unable to maximize his or her effectiveness within the

Cultural Issues In Australia
It is known that Australia is a multicultural and multiracial immigrant country. There are lots of people
living here with diverse cultural, ethnic, linguistic and religious background. Cultural exchange and
collision with different communities has become increasingly frequent as time progresses. There is no
doubt that benefit, such as promoting the development of the culture, learning from the other s
strength and offsetting one s weakness, will come into being by the cultural communication. At the
same time, challenges emerge to health care professionals at that moment as well. When facing with
transcultural issues, the situation will be much more complicated for health care professionals. In this
paper, transcultural issues and nursing assessment and intervention are mainly demonstrated under the
Australian health system. In Australian, registered nurses are required to provide person centered care
for patients from numerous various backgrounds. This paper mainly discusses the comparison
between two different ethnic and cultural communities: Iraq and China. The four issues related the
comparison about the person centered nursing practice are primarily covered in the following. They

The Problem Of Teen Violence
Teen violence has become a longstanding agent in the culture of the nation s youth. Every year,
approximately one million twelve to nineteen year olds are murdered or assaulted, many by their
peers, and teenagers are more than twice as likely as adults to become the victims of violence. From
schools (grammar and high school) being subdued by a fellow student on an angry rampage to figures
of the law flipping and dragging students in class. Something has to be done. Although the issue is far
too difficult for any one solution, teaching young people conflict resolution skills, nonviolent
techniques for resolving disputes seems to help. To reduce youth violence, conflict resolution skills
should be taught to all children before they reach junior high school. First and probably most
important, young people need to learn nonviolent way of dealing with conflict. In a dangerous society
where guns are readily available, many young teens feel they have no choice but to respond to an
insult or an argument with violence. If they have grown up seeing family members and neighbors
react to stress with verbal or physical violence, they may not know that other choices exist.
Behaviors like carrying a weapon or refusing to be the bigger person , gives young people the illusion
of control of a violent situation. What they urgently need is to learn real control. Many youth violence
prevention programs target teens themselves, giving them coping tactics to cope with their anger
issues or

unday chair was inspired from a friend of mine volunteering to feed an elderly person at her house,
from the organization sponsored by Bisto Gravy called, Spare Chair Sunday. Volunteers are sought

I felt there is a lot of ignorance surrounding this topic and I wanted to bring light to this situation in a
humorous way. Showing what a difference can be made to that one person who is lonely, with no
family.
This charity struggles with volunteers because the elderly are stereotyped. Although this may be the

bringing dimension to the stage 2 young girls, euphorically happy dressed in 1950 s dresses as they re

Union Carbide s Bhopal Disaster
In 1984, as if in a nightmare, a cloud of poison gas reached out and snuffed the lives of thousands of
people in the sleeping city of Bhopal, India. The residents awoke to a terrible disaster, a chemical
explosion whose memory could never be erased. At the center of the tragedy was the Union Carbide
pesticide plant, and surrounding the accident were doubts and accusations of negligence and unethical

The Disaster
On December 3, 1984, one of the world s worst chemical disasters occurred at the Union Carbide
pesticide plant in Bhopal, India. Forty tons of vaporous methyl isocyanate (MIC) gas exploded,

said,
Even those companies that say they will maintain the same standards as in the developed world find it
difficult to resist the temptation to take a shortcut. Even if they have a good design for their plant,
however, there s no good infrastructure in the underdeveloped countries. Even if they put it away from

Dillingham, 2002, p. 90).
Had Union Carbide exercised more responsibility and ethics from the very beginning, perhaps the
Bhopal disaster would have been avoided.
Preventing Future Disasters
The Bhopal accident served as a wake up call for the chemical industry (Lang, 1984, para. 23). In
response, the Chemical Manufacturers Association created a program called Responsible Care®, the
chemical industry s commitment to the continuous improvement of environmental, health, safety and
security performance (Overview, 2004, para. 1). Jeff Lipton, chief executive of Nova Chemicals Corp
stated, When the average person thinks about chemicals, they think about risks and hazards instead of
benefits (Herrick, 2003, para. 9). Responsible Care® addresses those concerns by implementing the
following practices: (Overview, 2004, para. 2):

Ancient Sumer Research Paper
Create museum display using four objects from ancient Sumer.
Ancient Sumer is an amazing blend of legends and elaborated rituals. Most scholars agree on the
importance of various artifacts found in Sumer. Cemetery and graves are among the most important
sites which provide the most crucial evidence about everyday and multiple aspects of Sumer.
Clay tablets and cuneiform script presented the legends, religious and cultural span of Mesopotamia.
These tablets and inscription also hinted at the political and geographical association of Sumer with
rest of the world.
Many precious things such as gold, silver, carnelian, lapis lazuli found in Sumerian Royal graves such
as Ur, Kish, Khafaje etc. These luxurious graves were part of Sumer throughout the history of Sumer
cultures. Kings and legends changed but Sumerian idea of celebrating the dead and after life remained
same. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Most carnelians today supplied from India and South America. While milky white and dark red
carnelians mostly found in India. Similar treatment for etched carnelians gemstones has been given in
Mesopotamia as well as Indus valley civilization. Even today Southern India has small industry still
carry this process. (Marshall, ed., 1931)
Conflict of Enmerkar and Aratta talked about king Enmerkar took a decade to build specter made from
precious stones to challenge Aratta. They fought over silver and gold. Tablets from Umma and Nippur
suggested that by 3rd millennium BCE merchants were gone beyond sea to fulfill demands of royal
and people and to increase trade.
Relationship between neighboring lands and trade across continent mostly mentioned in late ED but
right from the Ubaid period and many legendary tales of Sumer established the relationship and
dependence of Sumer on various regions for raw materials and luxuries

Cell Membrane Structure
1 Describe the normal structure and functioning of cell membranes, and explain how they compare to
the membranes relating to a specific abnormality in cystic fibrosis?
All cells have a cell membrane. The structure of membranes is formed from a double layer of
phospholipids with proteins floating in it. The proteins are embedded on the surface and inside or
bridge the double layers of phospholipids. This structure is called a mosaic model. The main function
of cell membranes is to provide protection and support for the cell and they also control what enter
and exit the cell to maintain internal balance, called homeostasis. There are two types of a membrane
protein: integral proteins and peripheral proteins. The integral membrane proteins are ... Show more

The cystic fibrosis affects the exocrine gland, which are organs that secrete mucus. It normally
produces thin, slippery secretions such as mucus, sweat, tears and digestive juice. The organs can be
affected by cystic fibrosis are sweat glands, respiratory system, digestive system and reproductive
system.
Sweat glands: The individual who suffers from cystic fibrosis, the amount of body salts lost in the
sweat are higher than the normal people. This can cause problems during times of increased sweating.
Such as hot weather.
Respiratory system: The lining of the respiratory tract which made of tiny, hair like cells called the
cilia. Their function is to keep the lung clean and clear from foreign substances and mucus. The
person who suffers from cystic fibrosis, the cilia can not easily remove the thick and sticky mucus out
of the air passages in the lung. The mucus clogs the air passages, causing a chronic cough and lung
infections. Repeated of lung infections can lead to damage to the lung and leading to not get enough
oxygen into the body.
Digestive system: The thick and sticky mucus blocks the pancreatic ducts and preventing the enzymes
from reaching in the small intestine to digest food. The result is incomplete digestion and poor
absorption of food

DREAM OF THE LEADER
Equal Dreams Pursuing inclusive futures
What s your approach to retail?
I keep my eyes and ears open to observe our customers and turn those insights into How do we serve
better them? When you focus on the consumers perspective and what can be done for them rather than
just on how to move goods that changes everything.
How do you capture and interpret customer insights?
We start by taking note of memes within popular culture with things like TV serials, cinema, songs,
etc. We ask ourselves Why is this getting popular? What s driving this? because there s a reason why
these specific stories have captured the imagination of the people. We believe since these stories
resonate widely that it s reflective of the dreams people share.
What is the role of business in helping individuals achieve their dreams?
An organisation is a collection of many individuals, with their own dreams, coming together to work
on a common vision. It then becomes our responsibility as managers and human beings to ensure that
we start asking ourselves how do we increase their satisfaction and thinking capacity it s not just about
economic output.

Age Of The Voter Analysis
dominance of religion in states changed women s views from conservative to more liberal, because
states that lowered their religious values faster saw changes in women s voting behaviors move to the
left side much faster than those that took longer (Emmenegger and Manow, 2014). Age of the voter is
a factor that can affect how they vote or who they decide to vote for. There is a common belief that
younger people tend to vote more democratic but studies show that this is not always what has
happened in previous elections (Fisher, 2008). For example, Fisher explains how in the elections from
1960 through 1976 younger people were the most democratic but in elections from 1980 through 1992
younger people were the most republican voters (Fisher,

The Uniform Of The Barn
The Uniform
This has been a difficult paper for me to write. I never thought that I had direct experience with racism
until I started writing. I grew up in sunny southern California on a horse farm. My first group of
friends were the Hispanic kids that lived on our property. Their parents took care of the horses. Hugo,
Jessie, Pita and I would play every day in the dirt pile at the barn. Hugo s mom cleaned our house and
helped take care of me. We were inseparable. I had no idea they were any different than me until I
started school. I think they felt the same. I attended a small, private Christian school from kindergarten
to eighth grade. The majority of the kids were like me, white, and from the same economic
background. We are wore uniforms, making us even more similar. My friends from the barn went to
the public school down the street where they were not required to wear uniforms. By the fourth or fifth
grade we stopped playing together in the dirt pile after school. We went our separate ways as we grew
further and further apart. My next stop was high school. Cathedral Catholic was more of the same.
The students were the same and more uniforms. I felt confined and I wanted a different experience. I
did not want to be in such a small environment where everyone is the same. I never wanted to see
another uniform! I wanted to be away from the uniform in every sense of the word. I wanted to be
around different people and experience new things. I transferred to Torrey

Africa By Kofi Awoonor Analysis
Modern World Literature: Africa Ghana s history is a metaphor for what occurred in the immediate
aftermath of independence in Africa, is a quote by Kofi Awoonor, Ghana s leading literary figure and
one of Africa s most acclaimed authors. Three of his poems illustrate the hardships and trials that the
Africans faced after their claim of independence from Britain. As said by Awoonor himself, ...high
hopes were crushed by the greed, corruption, and lust for power... . The author uses multiple literary
devices as a way to emphasize the adversities they faced. Kofi Awoonor symbolizes the downfall of
Ghana after independence through the use of theme, mood, and symbolism in his Three Poems. The
first literary device Awoonor uses is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The next literary device is mood. Song of War holds a very intense and demanding voice to the text. It
is full of declaratives and it uses strong diction about war and their military. In the text, they refer to
those who do not want to serve as cowards and claim that they shall lose their calabashes when we
come... . Another example is, When we start, the ground shall shake... which is meant to stress their
amount of soldiers and bring fear to their opponents. The Sea Eats the Land at Home contains the
mood of pity and despair. The poem greatly highlights the devastation of the people from the loss of
their land and property. It can be detected in the poem how the mothers are mostly the one in
desolation for the fear of her kids. An example that backs up said statement is, With her two children
shivering from the cold, her hands on her breast, weeping mournfully. The mood contributes to the
distress of the Africans from not only loss of land, but loss of hope. At the Gates holds the mood of
faith and reliance. The narrator does not know where he is, but he remains dependent of God and
knows that he will be alright as long as he knows he is doing it for Him. He states in the poem, I will
drink this calabash for it is god s gift to me... . Another example is ...give me an offering that I will
give to God and he will be happy. The mood helps readers view the emotion and purpose distributed
throughout the story, and symbolism is another

The Help Accuracy
The movie The Help shows the lifestyle of black women in Jackson, Mississippi in the early 1960 s. A
young adult named Skeeter who wished to become a journalist gathers maids to write about their
testimonies as black maids, which at first refused because of the fear of getting caught yet later agree.
The setting of the movie is historically inaccurate because it didn t go into detail about the civil rights
movement and all the things that occurred during this time, which was an important time in history. As
well as the Jim Crow Laws, the movie also never spoke about what white people would do to those
who were colored for example beating them to death. The civil right movement was an attempt to
eliminate segregation and gain equal rights. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Medgar was the target of many threats. He was murdered June 12 1963 by Byron De La Beckwith,
who was a member of the Ku Klux Klan, a couple hours after president Kennedy s speech on the
support of the civil rights movement (NAACP). In the movie the maids and everyone in Jackson were
in fear. In actuality the black community including maids participated in marches and protests towards
the justice of MedgaEvers (Truthout). The movie is also accurate because it includes the relationship
between Minny and Celia which demonstrates that not every white person was against blacks in
reality there was also whites who joined blacks in strikes to fight for civil rights. The bond between
them is what sends the message of not all whites disliking blacks because Celia, aside from Skeeter, is
the only female the treats the her maid as her close friend. An assumption of the film is that the
character Skeeter is suppose to resemble the author, Kathryn Stockett, by adding parts of her life into
Skeeter s character. Another common thing is that in the film Skeeter has trouble trying to collect a
story that is worth publishing while Stockett had trouble publishing the book and received sixty
rejections before publishing the book. According to abc news, the inspiration of story behind The Help
Stockett said in an interview was by a maid that her grandmother had that used to make her special
and important. Contrasting both to their lives Skeeter also had a special bond to the maid, Constantine,
her family had and had much love for

halide as an unknown and subsequently identify two halide ions mixed together in solution.
Hypothesis Supported or Not Supported: This hypothesis is supported.
Data to Support/ Not Support the Hypothesis:
The first unknown substance could be fluoride because the reaction it had with Ag+ was almost the
same reaction.
The second unknown substance is bromide because both of them had the same reaction of turning
darker yellow.
Error Analysis:

Major Scientific Principle Discussion: The scientific principle that was supported by the lab was to
conduct tests on solutions of the four halide ions. The tests consisted of comparing the responses of
each of the halide ions to each test and to identify two unknowns based on the results obtained using
known solutions of the anions. This activity relates to informations from the textbook and class
discussions because of the anion analysis we are learning. The outcome of this activity connects to
what occurs in the world around us because we can learn to make observations. This lab was

The Airport and Airway Act of 1982 chartered the FAA to address the growing aviation traffic flying
through major airports in the United States. The FAA generated the National Plan of Integrated Airport
Systems (NPIAS). The NPIAS modernized and replaced the 1970 National Airport System Plan. The
NPIAS focuses on the metric of enplanements, the number of boarding passengers at an airport, to aid
in the delineation among airports categorized as a Commercial Service (Primary), General Aviation
(GA), or Reliever Airport (Young, p. 11). The FAA generates a NPIAS report and delivers it to

Barbara Lichman references Long Beach/ Daugherty Field (LGB) , John Wayne Airport Orange

Due to its location, I think of Ontario International Airport (ONT) as a reliever airport for Los Angles

in the article as a reliever airport, and agrees with NPIAS designation is Santa Monica Municipal

Enoxaparin is a highly acidic mucopolysaccharide. It is an anticoagulant drug that is used primarily
for prophylaxis of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or for patients that exhibit pulmonary embolism (PE)
that have underwent specific surgery. Enoxaparin functions as a serine type endopeptidase inhibitor
and targets antithrombin III. It binds to it and creates a vertex that irreversibly inactivates clotting
factor Xa. Enoxaparin binding to antithrombin III also accelerates the activity of antithrombin III
which is a serine protease inhibitor that modulates the activation of blood coagulation. Enoxaparin
inhibits the production of prothrombin to thrombin. Antithrombin III inhibits thrombin, factors Xa,
IXa, and XIa, as well as matripatase 3/TMPRSS7. With the presence of enoxaparin its inhibitory
activity is increased greatly. With the Xa being catalyzed by the attachment of enoxaparin, the
translation of prothrombin to thrombin is decreased.

The Second And Final Component Of The Flavian Dynasty
The third and final component of the Flavian dynasty is Caesar Domitianus Augustus, the self
proclaimed God and ruthless dictator who reigned from AD 81 to 96. Domitian is the youngest son of
the emperor Vespasian and Flavia Domitilla. He was the less favored son of Vespasian, his father
valued his heir to the thrown and Domitian s older brother, Titus. Domitian s youth was largely spent
living in the shadows of Titus. As a child Domitian lived on rural land that his father acquired,
spending most of his time in his home on Pomegranate Street, which was later turned into a temple of
the Flavian family. Domitian spent a degraded childhood consisting of struggles with poverty and
infamy. He became accustomed to rural life as a child and when he fled from Rome whenever possible
in order to sulk in isolation and stab fireflies. After the death of Vitellius when he was fighting a war
up against Vespasian, Domitian gained the title as Ceaser. However, Domitian only held the name as
Ceaser, he appointed a colleague to handle all Judicial decisions. In order for Domitian to gain a
military reputation that would outshine his brother Titus, he devised a pointless expedition from Gaul
to Germany, which was dismissed by his father s friends. As a result, Domitian was reprimanded and
failed at gaining a good military reputation. Domitian constantly turned to the idea of competition in
order to gain power. An example of this is shown when Domitian wanted to offer soldiers double

journeys in handmaids tale
Journeys Essay We learn from the journeys we take, through experience, not from the destination
itself. This statement is supported by both Margaret Atwood s fictional dystopian novel The Handmaid
s Tale and Oliver Stone s crime fiction film Natural Born Killers . Through the use of multiple
techniques Atwood makes it clear that the protagonist Offred undertakes inner and imaginative
journeys during the course of the novel and learns from them. Likewise, Stone uses an array of film
techniques to convey both physical and inner journeys. Both texts are formed so they unfold gradually
taking the viewers on a journey and it becomes evident that there is much to be learnt from journeys.
In The Handmaid s Tale, symbolism is one technique ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The audience learns from the journey and it is clear that Offred learns from the inner journey she takes
from the transformation in her behaviour from a passive character to a more outspoken aware
character by the end. There is more to be learnt from the journey than the destination since the final
destination of Offred is ultimately unknown because of the way the novel finishes. Natural Born
Killers is a satirical film about two victims of traumatized childhoods, Mickey and Mallory , who
become psychopathic mass murderers who are over glorified by the media. The journey they take is
itself a physical one, the two murderers travelling across Route 666 on a killing rampage however the
characters also experience inner journeys. There are techniques the director has used to present these
journeys. The film is a satire and makes a strong statement about the media and violence in today s
society. This text is very comparable to The Handmaids Tale because of the similar techniques such as
symbolism and biblical intertextuality. As in the Handmaid s tale, Flashback is a technique used in this
text which gives us context for the journey of the main characters. There is a flashback scene which
shows us what Mallory s childhood was like. The scene is set in Mallory s house with her family at
breakfast. The mis en scene of the set makes the audience feel as if it is a very typical family set. Her
father makes abusive comments and makes

Bob Marley Get USand Up Analysis
Get up Stand up was written in 1973 and was written by Bob Marley and Peter Tosh in the group : The
Wailers, published in the album : Legend, by Chrysalis One Music (Metrolyrics, n.d). Furthermore,
their source of inspiration was mainly influenced by their Jamaican upbringing. In essence, the song is
about the fight for acceptance of their Rastafarian religion and the need to take action to avoid
oppression.
The meaning behind the lyrics can be interpreted as both religious and anti religious. On the other
hand, the line, `Get up, stand up: stand up for your rights, can be seen as a rallying call for the people
to stand up and demand respect for the Rastafarian religion. Firstly, the fundamental message that he
brings across is that religion is something personal, it is fine to have certain religious beliefs, but it is
not acceptable when you ram it in someone else s throat. He elaborates on the need for mutual respect
for others beliefs. In addition, the lines, Preacher man don t tell me, heaven is under the earth, I know
you don t know, what life is really worth, (Metrolyrics, n.d) suggests hanging to the thought of
freedom rather ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

African American Freedom And Injustice
The power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without restraint, is what we know today as
Freedom. While an unjust act or occurrence is implied as Injustice. These two terms are examples of
the issues that many African Americans face daily in America. Freedom and Injustice could be
combined to define the term of Slavery. Slavery in America began when the first African slaves were
brought to the North American colony of Jamestown, Virginia, in 1619, to aid in the production of
such lucrative crops as tobacco. It was practiced throughout the American colonies in the 17th and
18th centuries, and African American slaves helped build the economic foundations of the new nation.
Slavery was ultimately outlawed and laws prohibiting discrimination against African Americans
passed, racism against this community remains and is manifested in more subtle ways today. The song
Be Free is a response to the accident of African American teen, Mike Brown, who was shot by a police
officer due to the color of his skin. J. Cole was moved by the event, and instead of ignoring it, he uses
his power to voice his feelings and thoughts of the issue that has been present in the world for
Decades. Cole s song punctuated what was already a strong reaction in hip hop circles, with artists,
fans and critics going online to express themselves and debate the issue. Born in Germany on January
28, 1985 as Jermaine Lemarr Cole, J. Cole is an MC and producer who has achieved phenomenal

  • 3. The Basic Principle of Close Range Terrestrial Photogrammetry The basic principle of close range (terrestrial) photogrammetry will be explained in this section. Photogrammetry is the art and science of deriving accurate metric and descriptive information from analog and digital images (Habib et al., 2006; Habib Ghanma Al Ruzouq Kim a; Ayman Paper A.F. Habib, K.I. Bang, M. Aldelgawy). Wolf, 1983 defined the photogrammetry as the art, science and technology of obtaining reliable information about physical objects and environment through the process of recording, measuring and interpreting photographic images and patterns of electromagnetic radiant imagery and other phenomena. It is obviously stated, in the definition, that photogrammetry can be used 3D model of real objects for many areas of discipline such as geological and geotechnical engineering, archeology, architecture, biomedical engineering, civil engineering, and environmental science. Photogrammetry is non intrusive, cost effective, is ideal for recording data of a complex nature, has high level of achievable accuracy, uses digital data which results in total flexibility across a multitude of platforms, plus images may be catalog and compared over time. The 3D data from imagery reconstructed through a photogrammetric triangulation (bundle adjustment) technique using converging overlapping images from different viewpoints around the area of interest. Photogrammetry can be divided into two categories: aerial and close range (terrestrial) photogrammetry. Aerial photogrammetry ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

This means that 5.9 million holidays and trips have come out of the market altogether when the number of domestic holidays and trips are factored in. This is shy of the government s stated ambition for domestic trips to replace the number of missing overseas trips, the report says. UK city breaks account for 23% of domestic tourism but seaside towns are in decline by 5%. Total tourism revenue was up 12.6% to £40 billion between 2007 2011 against the general economy up 8%. Employment numbers in tourism have bucked the wider trend, thanks to strong growth in 2011 when 120,000 new jobs were created. The UK s appeal as a tourist destination endured during the double dip, with overall visitor numbers up by 3.1% to 157.4 million, the report shows. • 8. Baby Suggs Dichotomy While the lash marks from whippings remain on their skins, the former slaves within Toni Morrison s Beloved are scarred most by their mental trauma. While connecting to the community is used as part of the healing process, Morrison abolishes the concept that all communities are healing. Specifically, communities in which the relations of power are equal and members treated as ends in themselves are critical in overcoming adversity, while an imbalance of power, as well as seclusion, can incite the trauma from the beginning. The dichotomy between collective support and an individual in isolation is evaporated as Paul D, struggles both in isolation and still faces deindividuation at the community of Sweet Home. Baby Suggs plays a critical role in self and communal healing as according to Cynthia, Baby Suggs definitive self is a direct result of her rejecting the name given to her by white patriarchy... Baby Suggs never suffers from a loss of identity because of slavery . Despite not knowing her real name, Baby Suggs affirms her own identity. Requiring no identity from her masters, parents, or even lover, Baby Suggs is the most self actualized of all characters; while still needing her son s help to legally be free, internally Baby Suggs is self driven., she is the marrow that creates her own blood, the heart that pumps it, and the muscles that propel herself forward. Baby Suggs goes on to use her skills in the Clearing to provide communal therapy for others. The Clearing acts as a curative force and the antithesis of harmful collectives such as Sweet Home; laughing children, dancing men, crying women and then it got mixed up (103) animates the contrast between the two types of community as the Clearing is depicted as a community that is an extension of the identities that form it, with synergy between its members as the laughter, crying, and dancing coalesce into one state of being. While the former slaves are physically free, their emotions remain incarcerated within them until they are emancipated through communion at the Clearing. Meanwhile, the community of Pauls at Sweet Home differ from the Clearing as it is a subversive community intended to mill away at each Pauls sense of self. Like an ant starving alone from its colony, a starling roosting away from its flock, or an angel failing isolated from its god, Toni Morrison in her magnum opus Beloved undoubtedly unveils the universally applicable principle of ... • 9. Analysis Of Dubliners By James Joyce Dubliners by James Joyce compiles a variety of snapshots of life and culture; it captures people with very different situations and backgrounds all against the backdrop of early 20th century Dublin. Though the characters are not tethered to reality, the themes often relate directly to events in Joyce s experience (Gray). The stories in totality do not follow one constant plot, but if one story can be said to represent the collection as a whole, it is certainly The Dead. The final story in the series, The Dead encapsulates the entirety of feelings that Joyce has towards Dublin and connects Joyce with the narrative in an indirect but powerful way. Each of the other stories contains elements, symbols, or motifs that support or relate to those within The Dead. Love, loss, alcoholism, money, and other themes are tools; the reader may learn from them through the ways that Joyce s characters view them. Ireland was Joyce s home, but despite his love for the country, he disliked how lethargic it had become. He distanced himself from the its inability to embrace a changing world. Dubliners is not simply a criticism of the Irish, however. Though the first fourteen stories demonstrate Joyce s judgements on the different manifestations of Dubliners paralysis, The Dead written several years after the others and while Joyce was no longer living in Ireland reveals Joyce s own altered perception of the condition of Irish culture (Gray). The central purpose of Dubliners is to ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Every year, approximately one million twelve to nineteen year olds are murdered or assaulted, many by their peers, and teenagers are more than twice as likely as adults to become the victims of violence. From schools (grammar and high school) being subdued by a fellow student on an angry rampage to figures of the law flipping and dragging students in class. Something has to be done. Although the issue is far too difficult for any one solution, teaching young people conflict resolution skills, nonviolent techniques for resolving disputes seems to help. To reduce youth violence, conflict resolution skills should be taught to all children before they reach junior high school. First and probably most important, young people need to learn nonviolent way of dealing with conflict. In a dangerous society where guns are readily available, many young teens feel they have no choice but to respond to an insult or an argument with violence. If they have grown up seeing family members and neighbors react to stress with verbal or physical violence, they may not know that other choices exist. Behaviors like carrying a weapon or refusing to be the bigger person , gives young people the illusion of control of a violent situation. What they urgently need is to learn real control. Many youth violence prevention programs target teens themselves, giving them coping tactics to cope with their anger issues or ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Volunteers are sought after to offer this interaction with an elderly person who has no family. I felt there is a lot of ignorance surrounding this topic and I wanted to bring light to this situation in a humorous way. Showing what a difference can be made to that one person who is lonely, with no family. This charity struggles with volunteers because the elderly are stereotyped. I grew up in sunny southern California on a horse farm. My first group of friends were the Hispanic kids that lived on our property. Their parents took care of the horses. Hugo, Jessie, Pita and I would play every day in the dirt pile at the barn. Hugo s mom cleaned our house and helped take care of me. We were inseparable. I had no idea they were any different than me until I started school. I think they felt the same. I attended a small, private Christian school from kindergarten to eighth grade. The majority of the kids were like me, white, and from the same economic background. We are wore uniforms, making us even more similar. My friends from the barn went to the public school down the street where they were not required to wear uniforms. By the fourth or fifth grade we stopped playing together in the dirt pile after school. We went our separate ways as we grew further and further apart. My next stop was high school. Cathedral Catholic was more of the same. The students were the same and more uniforms. I felt confined and I wanted a different experience. Another example is, When we start, the ground shall shake... which is meant to stress their amount of soldiers and bring fear to their opponents. The Sea Eats the Land at Home contains the mood of pity and despair. The poem greatly highlights the devastation of the people from the loss of their land and property. It can be detected in the poem how the mothers are mostly the one in desolation for the fear of her kids. An example that backs up said statement is, With her two children shivering from the cold, her hands on her breast, weeping mournfully. A young adult named Skeeter who wished to become a journalist gathers maids to write about their testimonies as black maids, which at first refused because of the fear of getting caught yet later agree. The setting of the movie is historically inaccurate because it didn t go into detail about the civil rights movement and all the things that occurred during this time, which was an important time in history. In the movie the maids and everyone in Jackson were in fear. In actuality the black community including maids participated in marches and protests towards the justice of MedgaEvers (Truthout). The movie is also accurate because it includes the relationship between Minny and Celia which demonstrates that not every white person was against blacks in reality there was also whites who joined blacks in strikes to fight for civil rights. In essence, the song is about the fight for acceptance of their Rastafarian religion and the need to take action to avoid oppression. The meaning behind the lyrics can be interpreted as both religious and anti religious. On the other hand, the line, `Get up, stand up: stand up for your rights, can be seen as a rallying call for the people to stand up and demand respect for the Rastafarian religion. Firstly, the fundamental message that he brings across is that religion is something personal, it is fine to have certain religious beliefs, but it is not acceptable when you ram it in someone else s throat.
