This document discusses optimization of steam jet ejector geometry for refrigeration applications using computational fluid dynamics (CFD). It provides background on jet ejectors and their operating principle. The purpose is to optimize ejector geometry to improve efficiency by reducing pressure drop. An extensive literature review is presented that investigated the effects of geometrical parameters like nozzle size and shape, mixing chamber length and angle on ejector performance. CFD analysis can provide insights into flow characteristics to accurately optimize ejector geometry for a given application and reduce need for prototyping. The results of CFD analysis will be used to optimize ejector geometry to achieve better efficiency.
