Delectation Delicatessen Essay
Homework Problem Set #1
Delectation Delicatessen
Problem a)
Answer:
Delectation wants to determine the number of Fish n Fowl and Surf n Turf sandwiches it should make
each day to maximize the deli s revenues in USD$. The decision variables are how many units of Fish

And Plant A losing production capacity will not change this fact. So only Plant B will increase its
production by 100 untis to make up the loss of capacity in Pant A. 2.The transportation costs for A to
region 1 and 2 are $1.50 and $2.10. The difference is $0.70. The transportation costs for Plant B to
region 1 and 2 are $2.35 and $3.55. The difference is $1.20. Since $1.20 gt;$0.70, Plant A will reduce
its production and shipment to region 1 by 100 untis and Plan B will produce $100 units more and
ship to region 1.
Problem b) 50 cents increase in unit transportation cost between plant A and region 2
Answer:
Production and shipment plan will not be changed because the allowable increase of objective
coefficient of from plant A to region 2 is 60 cents. The 50 cents change is within the limit so it will not
change the production and shipment plan. So it will only increase total cost by $450 as 900x$0.5.
Problem c)
Answer:
The additional revenue will cover the cost. The reasons are: First only Plant B has available capacity
to cover the 80 additional units. Second, 80 additional units is within the allowable increase range of
plan B so

Boxing Is A Sport With Conventional Rules Essay
1. Introduction Boxing is a sport with conventional rules, with longstanding history going back a huge
number of years to the era of the ancient Greeks olympics.1 Boxing can be classed as a direct
interactive sport. In both beginner and expert forms, the boxers wear cushioned gloves, striking and
guarding with your fists clenched. Every session by and large goes on for 3 minutes and the victor is
the person who handles the most punches or thumps out his adversary. Boxing is likewise called
pugilism and prize fighting. There is a typical conviction that left given individuals are less skilful. In
any case, the accomplishment of the soccer players skilfully utilizing their left feet, and the
accomplishments of specialists and tennis players, 4 are likely the best cases demonstrating the
invalidity of this perspective(Gursoy, 2009). 1.1 Background Problem Boxers assume one of two
positions, mirror pictures of each other: southpaw or orthodox. The term orthodox stance points out
the positioning of the boxer s hands and feet with the left hand and foot forward, and the right hand
and foot backwards very close to the chest region this is common to a right handed
person(Sorokowski, Sabiniewicz, Wacewicz, 2014). The expression southpaw , is also a boxing stance
normal to left handers, alludes to having the boxers right foot and hand forward: a mirror picture of
the orthodox stance. The selection of a stance for the most part is a lasting trademark. Seldom,

John Vincent Hurt Research Paper
John Vincent Hurt was born on January 22, 1940 in Shirebrook, England. He is the son of Phyllis, an
engineer, and Arnould Herbert Hurt, an Anglican clergyman and mathematician. The youngest of three
children, he spent much of his childhood in solitude. Showing little initiative, he was guided into art as
a possible direction. The family moved to Grimsby when he turned twelve and, despite an active early
passion in acting, his parents thought less of it and enrolled him at the Grimsby Art School and St.
Martin s School of Art where he thrived. When he couldn t manage to get another scholarship to art
school, his focus invariably turned to acting. After making it into into the Royal Academy of Dramatic
Art, John made his stage debut in 1962

Compare And Contrast The Natchez Tribes
The Natchez and Iroquois Native American peoples have some interesting correlation and differences
in their way of life. Their traditional descent groups, the membership of those descent groups, and
leadership positions all played a role in their political systems. The Natchez people recognized a
matriarchal descent group. They had a socio political system which included the following in
descending order, The Great Sun, Nobles, Honored Men, and Stinkards (commoners). The system was
different in the traditional hierarchical sense, in that the royal family were obligated to marry in a
lower social status, also that the only way to be a Great Sun was through the matrilineal line. Male

They were both matriarchal societies, and to be part of a group, you either had to be born into it, or
marry into it. In contrast, the Natchez peoples operated as a hierarchy, and the Iroquois peoples
operated more as a democracy. The Natchez people s political system was a sociopolitical system
(matriarchal hierarchy). The descendant grouping factored into the political system in that they were
nearly indistinguishable. The Sun rank was the highest socially, as well as politically, and held the
most powerful political positions. The Nobles held secondary positions, and the Honored Men held
some small political positions. The Commoners did not seem to have any political position. They all
operated under their King, the Great Sun, thus mirroring a hierarchy. The Iroquois peoples elected
officials to focus on goodwill, peace, and harmony. The Grand Council, of about 50 men, was selected
by women and represented the leading matrilineages. This shows that their political system was
closely related to their descent grouping in that all of the major groups had a say in their politics..

Sled Dog
Dr. Arleigh Reynolds the Associate Professor of Veterinary Nutrition, and Associate Dean at the
University of Fairbanks has been studying the role of periodization in his very own sled dogs. Being a
two time world champion of a sport as unique as sled dog racing Dr. Reynolds has done extensive
research on the role of periodization and its effects on performance which has led to very successful
research and career.
Transportation in Alaska was very difficult during the early 1920 s. The frozen, mountainous,
unexplored terrain made it very difficult to move supplies from one end of the state to the other. This
is when Alaskan s began using Huskies to pull their load across the blizzard like land. In 1925 a small
town in Northwest Alaska was at its peak of a gold rush, when an outbreak arose and needed
antitoxins immediately to save the town of this incipient epidemic. Over 20 mushers and 200 dogs
rose to the challenge to carry the medicine from Anchorage over 650 miles across the tundra to Nome.
This gave birth to the Last Great Race on Earth.
Over 40 years later in 1973 the first Iditarod was held in celebration to the mushers and dogs who
were able to save the people of Nome. The race is now over 1,000 miles ... Show more content on

Reynolds, retired from sled dog mushing has now dedicated his career to the methods of how effective
he can apply the term periodization to his dogs and be able to train the best dogs in the world. His
research began by adopting a training program that was widely used in Norway to produce some of its
best Olympic athletes. This training regime consisted of high aerobic training during the beginning of
the season, and transitioning into a anaerobic style approaching the start of the big race. Dr. Raynolds
had many exclusive training methods to get his dogs in shape such as tying them to a large wheel; like
a carousel you might find at an amusement park. His endurance training consisted of long rides on his

Similarities Between Underground And Notes From The...
As I read Notes from the underground by Fyodor Dostoyevsky and watched the film Rashomon
directed by Akira Kurosawa I noticed a few similarities and differences between the two. They were
similar because they both are frame narratives, the narrator is unreliable, there were parts in first
person or was written in first person and they both had analepsis. The main differences were the
themes. The themes were very different in both stories.
What is the theme in literature? A theme in literature is the main topic or topics of a story. As I read
through the required text and watch the film I chose egoism and individual versus society for Notes
from the Underground and multiplicity for Rashomon .
A frame narrative is basically a story within a story. In Notes from the Underground the whole story is
basically a bunch of stories that the narrator tells about his life. The narrator talks about his past and
this is where analepsis comes in which is a flashback to a different time. For example the narrator lets
us know at the beginning he is forty then later on he goes on to talk about what happens when he was
twenty four. The narrator also is unreliable because the story is told in an irrational way. The film
Rashomon also has a bunch of stories within the film. As each person tells their side, it s almost like
mini stories. And as with Notes from the Underground the stories go back as analepsis. They flashback
to the time when they happened to describe what actually happens. This film is described as an
unreliable narrative because each story that was told was different, which makes you wonder what
really happened.
When I finished watching Rashomon I immediately said the theme is multiplicity. Every person that
saw what happened had their own view of what happened. There was no story that was the exact say
as the other. But that there says people will do anything to make a story sound good. Each
interpretation of how everything went made someone look like someone else was to blame. There is a
saying there is more than one side of a story and this film proves that. The bandit that has a reputation
for killing and lust tied the samurai and kissed his wife. The woodcutter found the man s dead body of

A New Robust And Fully Automatic Technique For Calibration...
Abstract. The paper presents a new robust and fully automatic technique for calibration of three
dimensional (3D) freehand ultrasound. 3D Freehand ultrasound involves mounting a position sensor
on a standard probe. The echo graphic B scans can be localized in 3D, and can be compounded into
dimensions. On the other hand, especially for quantitative use, this process requires a calibration
procedure that fixes its accuracy and practicality. Calibration aims at defining the transformation
(translations, rotations, scaling) among the coordinates system of the echo graphic images and the
coordinate system of the localization system. We put forward a robust and fully automatic calibration
method based on the Hough transform and robust estimators.
Index terms: robotic ultrasound, autonomous acquisition, rgb d camera, B scan, robustness.
INTRODUCTION
In this work, we aim at closing the gap in the workflow of existing robotic support systems in order to
allow for completely automatic 3D ultrasound acquisitions using a robotic imaging system. We
present the pathway towards an autonomous robotic ultrasound system to help clinicians during
interventions by performing multiple and especially reproducible examinations based on pre
interventional planning. As it is mostly non invasive and has a real time capability and a
comparatively low cost nature, 2D ultrasound is popular. Its major shortcoming is its weak capability
of issuing quantitative

Docetism In Gnosticism
One of the early heresies was Docetism, which held that Jesus only seemed human. They based this
belief on an assumption that God can t become flesh. Docetism treats John 1:14 as figurative where it
states that the Word was made flesh. Part of their reasoning for this belief can be attributed to the view
of flesh as sinful which would result as a problem for God, who is divine, to become imprisoned
inside. However, Jesus was nailed to a cross and real blood flowed from his hands and side that is
proof that Jesus was in fact human. In Gnosticism it was believed that the trinity was three hidden
spiritual realities. They tended to think in the form of good against bad with the spirit being good and
the physical being bad. It can be confusing ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The problem with the description from Apollonarius is that it implies that Jesus is just a flesh suit that
God is controlling like a puppet. To be fully human Jesus must possess not only a flesh body but also a
human mind and soul. Nestorius taught that Jesus was two persons with two natures. In our modern
definition this would be schizophrenic or twins. Nestorius viewed Jesus as God and man working
together but this goes against the idea that Jesus is God. It simply has Jesus just working with God.
Eutyches takes the approach of monophysitism and claims that Jesus has one nature because he
wanted to avoid separating Jesus into two different entities. His view makes Jesus a hybrid of God and
man. Finally to try and put an end to the debates the Council of Chalcedon was held in AD 451. They
set four parameters to define how the church understands Jesus that included Jesus as fully God, Jesus
as fully man, Jesus as one person, and Jesus having two natures. This was good because instead of the
focus being on what was wrong the parameters focused on what was right. The parameters also work
in harmony with the Biblical description of the TrinityAugustine s life pursuit was after pleasure and
delight. He was not only about seeking joy for himself but also for

The Tale Of Fairy Tales
1. What is the genre of this story? Are there any other possible genres this story could fall into?
This story is a Fairy tale. Fairy tales often have very archetypal and flat characters, often only
embellished in re tellings by various authors/story tellers. It can be presumed that this is because most
fairy tales come from European oral tradition, so only the most essential things about the plot remain.
In this case, the archetypal folkloric characters are the king, the princesses (the youngest and oldest
being the only two given lines), the wandering retired soldier (who s the protagonist), and the wise old
woman who inexplicably knows all that is going on and helps him with magical items. There aren t
any other genres this story could be, as fairy tales are a very niche category of story, as it has a way of
plot and characters that is very unique to it genre.
2. What is the exposition of the story? Summarize it in your own words and provide an example of the
text.
The King s daughters go out dancing every night, but no one knows where they go. So the King makes
a proclamation, that whoever can figure it out in three days will become king after him and marry his
favorite of the daughters. If the person can t figure it out in the three days, they will be beheaded.
Many princes from other countries come, try, and fail, and they re all beheaded.

Intellectual Property ( Ip ) Essay
Intellectual Property (IP) can be broadly described as using human intellect to create something new
or original, and it is collectively comprised of four categories: Trade secrets, trademarks, copyrights,
and patents. Intellectual property is a valuable asset that must be protected and strategically managed.
To fully foster innovation, intellectual property protection is crucial. If protection is lacking, than
businesses and individual would not fully benefit from their inventions and could possibly refrain
from research and development. Intellectual property drives economic growth and competitiveness.
The direct and indirect economic impacts of innovation are overwhelming, accounting for more than
40% of U.S. economic growth and employment (GIPC, 2015, para. 3). Intellectual property
contributes tremendously to our national and state economies. IP accounts for 74% of all US exports,
which amounts to nearly $1 trillion. It is also important for consumers. Solid IP rights assist
consumers in making choices about the safety, effectiveness and reliability in their purchases.
Many industries count on sufficient enforcement of their IP, by means of trade secrets, trademarks,
copyrights, and patents. According to the USPTO (2015) In the United States patents are available to
any person who invents or discovers any new and useful process, machine, manufacture, or
composition of matter, or any new and useful improvement thereof (para.6). There are three types of
patents

United States Enacted The Patient Protection And...
In 2010, through President Barrack Obama s advocacy, the United States enacted the Patient
Protection and Affordable Care Act ( PPACA ) in an effort to ensure that all Americans have access to
health coverage. As part of the PPACA Congress directed the Secretary of the U.S. Department of
Health and Human Services ( HHS ) to develop and implement a Medicare Self Referral Disclosure
Protocol. The SRDP is intended to foster the resolution of potential or actual violations of Stark. This
Section will give an in depth look at disclosures prior to SRDP, its enactment and the important
developments in its brief existence. 1. Disclosures Prior to the SRDP Prior to this enactment providers
had the option to make unsolicited or voluntary refunds to Medicare administrative contractors who
process claims and issue payments on behalf of CMS. Generally, these refunds are in the form of
adjustment bills or checks. The Medicare contractors process the refunds and review the
circumstances surrounding the overpayment and take appropriate steps to resolve the issue. Entities
could also request an advisory opinion from CMS to resolve violations. For CMS to consider an
advisory opinion the requester must be a party to the existing agreement and is the only individual or
entity that may rely on that opinion. Also, entities could make disclosures through the Office of
Inspector General ( OIG ) under its Self Disclosure Protocol ( SDP ). Today a Stark violation may still

How Did Charles Perkins Impact Australian Society
Charles Perkins played an extremely significant role in the struggle for rights and freedom of
Aboriginal people. He was born in 1936 and was an Australian Aboriginal activist, the first Australian
Aboriginal to graduate from university, and he also led the freedom ride in 1965. He was a manager of
the Foundation for Aboriginal Affairs, an organisation that took a key role in getting a Yes vote for the
1967 referendum regarding Aboriginal rights. His controversial actions allowed him to successfully
reduce discrimination against aboriginals. He has also exposed the discrimination and segregation that
existed in Australian society, he then tried to educate the Australian society to reduce racial
discrimination and get greater equality or indigenous Australians. Perkins was later elected as the
deputy chairperson of the Australia and Torres straight islander commission.

All of Summer in a Day is a tale from the far off future, when humanity has colonized Venus. Once
every seven years for only about two hours, taking place in a class room of young children, most of
which don t remember the sun or the gentle yellow glow it gives off due to living in underground
bunkers their whole lives. One child, Margo, recently moved to Venus from Earth, remembers the Sun
and tries to explain it to her fellow class mates who believe she is lying. On the day the Sun is to come
out, the children finally get tired of hearing Margo s Lies and lock her in a closet to punish her while
the Teacher is out. Later the Teacher arrives back in the room and, not realizing Margo is not with
them, takes them outside for the Summer . When the children come back in due to the heavy rain

George Armstrong Custer Mission Command Failure
Mission Command Failures of General George A. Custer
General George Armstrong Custer has been touted as one of the most infamous Army leaders in
American military history. Often he is used as a cliché to indicate a great failure of a process or
military action. But what did Custer do to bring about his demise on the hot afternoon of Sunday June
25th, 1876? Why did his successes in the Civil War not follow him into the Indian Wars? The purpose
of this paper is to explore the principals of mission command and to describe how Custer embraced or
violated them.
The principals of mission command are the framework within which we will examine Custer s
performance. These principals are defined in ADP 6.0 as the following:

Reno about the change. There is no evidence that there was a clearly defined end state that Custer

The Kentucky Derby Run For The Roses Summary
The past 5 years I have participated in bartending for the Kentucky Derby. I have had horses my entire
life and find them to very majestic, powerful creatures. Needless to say I have always had a certain
obsession with the run for the roses. Due to my fascination and having the Derby experience, I chose
to review The Kentucky Derby: Run for the Roses written by Bill Doolittle and a foreword by Walter
Cronkite. The book revolves around a bit of history on the Kentucky Derby and the traditions that
have been incorporated throughout the years to make it what it is today. The author portrays
throughout the book, the financial struggle that horse breeders suffered after the Civil War and how a
business idea developed by Colonel Meriwether Lewis Clark devised the plan after his travels to

mentions that during the early years of racing, blacks were mainly the jockeys and trainers, but once
money started being made, the whites pushed the blacks out of their jobs around 1901. I think this was
a sub argument for the time frame and how things changed all based on making the money. Bill
Doolittle also focuses on the breeding of the Thoroughbreds and what it takes to make a winner. The
winner is not always the biggest, flashiest of the horses, and the author makes sure to point out

Dred Scott V. Sandford Civil Rights Movement
Civil Rights Essay
The civil rights protest was an important time for people all around the world for achieving equal
rights. While there were many against this idea, others fully supported this and believed that there was
a light at the end of the tunnel. There were many people that represented the civil rights movement,
such as Martin Luther King Jr. and MalcoIm X. There were also cases that spawned from this that
challenged the authority and showed a light of hope on equal rights for all. The cases that were
essential in the civil rights movement were the cases of Dred Scott vs. Sandford, Plessy vs. Ferguson,
and Brown vs. Board of Education.
In the case of Dred Scott vs. Sandford, Dred Scott sued Sanford for freedom on the fact that Sandford
took them into a state where slavery was forbidden for military assignments. This case lasted
approximately 11 years until the court ruled that Scott was not free. It was ruled that black men have
no opportunity for equal rights especially for a slave. This made black folk and some white folk very
disappointed. This decision had great impact though because it gave some people the courage to stand
up for equal rights. This eventually caused violent protest because of the court s decision around the
nation.

Macbeth displays the classic signs of narcissistic personality disorder: elevated sense of entitlement
and delusions about power. While Macbeth did commit the murders, he was insane, and therefor did
not commit the murders with criminal intent. The extent of his mental disorder has manifested in

Macbeth may talk of big plans to assassinate Duncan, but at the root he is still a good person. His
description predicts the eventual effect of his actions: total and complete loss of rational self, and
slippage into full blown psychosis. Following this point, Macbeth should not be held accountable for
his crimes, as he goes completely insane.
A characteristic of narcissistic personality disorder is heavy hallucinations, caused by a fantasy the
person has imagined for themselves. Even before he murders Duncan, Macbeth s delusion of him
becoming king manifests through hallucinations involving murder imagery. As he walks towards
Duncan s room, a floating dagger, only visible by him, leads him there. The mirage he has placed
himself in, where he is king of Scotland, has caused his subconscious to produce delusions, Is this a
dagger which I see before me, the handle toward my hand? Come, let me clutch thee. I have thee not
and yet I see thee still (2.1.44 45). Macbeth acknowledges that the dagger is not real, and yet he still
attempts to clutch it, fully invested in his fantasy. He describes later as A dagger of the mind , as if the
very delusions he is undergoing are ripping his mind apart (2.1.50). However, through the phrases of
the mind and I have thee not connote that he knows the visions

New Orleans Style Wine Bar Essay
In a small, cozy New Orleans style wine bar in Miami, the night of October 17, 2016, a band called

When I got to the bar around 8:00 pm, it was still early because the concert was supposed to start
around 9:00 pm, but two of the musicians were starting to get to the place and setting some
instruments up. By around 8:40 pm, the four musicians now all together in the inside part of the bar
started to set up their instruments, drums, keyboard, guitars and some maracas, as well as speakers and
microphones, also people got seated inside with their wine glasses or beers and some food that is also

Describe and Assess the Evidence That Socialisation Plays...
Socialisation refers to the process of learning one s culture and how to live within it. The process of
socialisation involves the transmission of culture from one generation to the next. It is during
socialisation that individuals learn the values and norms that play such an important part in shaping
human behaviour. Socialisation provides the skills and habits necessary for acting and participating
within one s society. Charles Cooley divided socialisation into two stages primary and secondary
socialisation. Primary socialisation is the early years of our socialisation. It occurs when a child learns
the attitudes, values and actions appropriate to individuals as members of a particular culture. The

Anna was born to an unmarried woman, a fact that enraged the woman s father. At first forbidden to
bring the child into the house, Anna s mother attempted to place her in a children s home. When this
plan proved too expensive, Anna was moved to a series of foster homes. Finally, at the age of six
months, the child was returned to her mother. Because of the grandfather s hostility, Anna was
confined to an attic room where she was given only a minimum of care. She was undernourished and
emaciated and received almost no human contact. She was not spoken to, held, bathed, or loved. Anna
was finally discovered by a social worker in 1938. At six years of age, Anna was little more than a
skeleton. She could not walk, talk, or feed herself. Her face was expressionless, and she showed no
interest in other people. Over time, though, Anna made some progress. She learned to walk, feed
herself, and brush her teeth. She could also talk in phrases and follow simple directions. However,
Anna died at the age of 10, probably as a result of her earlier isolation. The story of Isabelle has a
somewhat happier ending. Isabelle, whose mother was also unmarried, was found at about the same
time as Anna. The child s grandfather kept her and her deaf mother confined to a dark room. Although
deprived of a normal cultural environment, Isabelle have the advantage of her mother s company. But

A Clean Well Lighted Place By Ernest Hemingway
How has your understanding of the concept of belonging been shaped by the representation of
relationships and events that you have encountered in the texts you have studied for the Area of Study:
Belonging?
Belonging requires an individual to build a connection with another person or group over time, these
connections are often developed through shared experience and understanding. Peter Skrzynecki s
poems; Feliks Skrzynecki (1975) and Migrant Hostel (1975) offer various perspectives and
representations on this concept. Ernest Hemingway s short story A clean well lighted place (1926) and
the picture Berlin Wall by unknown (1973) compliment these perspectives and representations further.

I have chosen to investigate these films because of how both films were released at the time of the

I also chose these films because the similar themes in both films, as both films focus on youths in

One of the main things I that is important in both films are the costume, in both film are uniforms seen
on many of the characters throughout the film, in a clockwork orange, set in a dystopian future
Britain, Alex and his Droogs wear a specific uniform and so do other gang type groups of youths in
the film, this is intertextuality of youth at the time were many teenager became part of a group by the

character that represent authority in each film, in A Clockwork Orange when Alex is arrested all of the
prisoners wear matching suits and the prison guards and anyone that has authority over is wearing a

Adenomyosis Essay
Adenomyosis
Definition
Adenomyosis or uterine endometriosis is essentially a benign disease which is constricted to the
uterine muscle. In this condition, the endometrial cells lining the uterus migrate to the back wall or
posterior side of the uterus. This leads to the thickening of uterine walls, which in turn, may cause
prolonged or heavier menstrual bleeding along with severe abdominal pain during the intercourse or
menstrual cycle.
Adenomyosis is a common medical condition among women in their 40 s. The disease is often
concomitant with the hormone imbalances, such as excessive rise in estrogen level. Multiple research
studies have established that approximately 12% of women diagnosed with Adenomyosis also tend to
develop Endometriosis. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Adenomyosis Treatment
According to specialists, women diagnosed with mild forms of Adenomyosis may not need any
medical treatment. However, in case the symptoms obstruct your daily activities, doctor may advise
following treatment options.
Anti Inflammatory Medications: The medications like ibuprofen are often prescribed by a doctor to
decrease blood flow at the time of monthly menstrual cycle. This relieves the patient from severe
cramps.
Hormonal Treatments: Such treatments may include GnRH analogs, progestin contraceptives, and oral
contraceptives to control the increased levels of estrogen amongst patients.
Endometrial Ablation: The treatment includes advanced techniques to destroy or remove the excess
endometrium cells from the uteral lining. However, this technique may not work for every patient as
adenomyosis deeply invades the uterus muscle.
Uterine Artery Embolization: It prevents the supply of blood from specific arteries to the distressed
area. As a result, the adenomyosis contracts. The procedure is mainly used for the treatment of uterine

Golden Time Research Paper
Golden Time
The first time I stepped out of one reality and into one consisting only of a stretch of desert was in
2009. It was staggering. I felt a path being paved ahead of me. Not a road, but an everlasting guide to
the way of life. The way to live a life. The waves of sand, holding this universe together, trampled my
feet as I took each step further into this world of golden time. A new time zone. One in which time
was measured by a sequence of dry, quiet sounds. The wind and the grains of sand synchronized to
create a mirage of a tissue paper; I felt it cleanse me of the burdens my previous reality held. Thoughts
began to float in my tumultuous mind. Quite often I would wonder how such a place could carry the
stories of a million lives, and whether I would ever find my place among them.

They are just pieces of the puzzle that the desert s travelers have been uncovering for centuries. To this

before my eyes, shimmering at me like the never before existing eighth wonder of the world. I felt as
though my sense of direction had been restored, the stars lighting the path the sand was paving for me.
Together, they gave me hope. What one may see as tragedies buried layer by layer beneath my
resilient feet, I saw as delicate Saharan teachers. It is a desolate maze built to a perfect ratio of land
and water, that challenges its contenders, breaking them down to simply build them back up. It is a
test of courage. One in which silence throbs and gleams within the loops of thought that form in the

Black Swan Green Analysis
In Black Swan Green, Jason Taylor s adolescence could best be described as a roller coaster, with
highs, lows, and everywhere in between. He battles with hapless circumstances, ranging from a rigid
relationship with his father to balancing popularity and ethics, all while combatting an internal issue of
self consciousness due to a speech impediment. The significance of all the obstacles, conflicts and
decisions is that they will determine what Jason will evolve into for the rest of his life. These scenarios
epitomize the obstacles and pressures that a teenager encounters, and demonstrates how someone of
that age grows while drudging through something that they ve never experienced before.
One of the obstacles mentioned above, Jason s relationship with his father, slowly deteriorates
throughout the novel and eventually ceases to exist. Before the relationship started to die out, Jason
never seems to reach his father s standards, but when his father s relationship with his mum fails,
Jason s father starts to fade away from Jason s life. In January Man Jason ventures into his father s
office, in order to answer a phone, despite being instructed by his father specifically not to. The phone
had been ringing endlessly, and Jason was trying to focus. So, Jason ventured into the office and
answered. Somehow, Jason s father discovered and brought it up at Dinner. After admitting that Jason
had done it, his father plagued him with questions like What s the rule about not going into my office?
, What question did i just ask you? and Now why don t you answer this question? Jason is faced with
the disincentive of questioning his father s legacy: his father has unachievable standards for Jason, but
also falls short of Jason s standards for him. This leaves Jason unsure whether or not to listen to his

A True Refuge
The story Towards a True Refuge is written by San Suu Kyi. Her main focus throughout this whole
story is security. She shows that this is her focus by mentioning many things such as man made
disasters, the disagreements between parties, famine, and accountable governments. Man made
disasters are made by dominant individuals and cliques which refuse to move beyond the autistic
confines of partisan interest. In this excerpt from Towards a True Refuge, Kyi is saying that these
disasters are made by groups of self centered people who can t get over their thoughts that they need

Famine has lead these people on to seek refuge in multiple different countries. This is usually done
illegally, by sneaking through borders, creating fake passports, and lying. What the author in this story
is trying to get at is everyone from the richest of the rich to the poorest of the poor deserve a safe,

Growing Up In A Town Of Inbreds Analysis
How Growing Up in a Town of Inbreds Changed Who I Am Language is found all around us. It can be

where we are currently living. Due to language being different across areas and regions of the globe,
language can tell a lot about where a person grew up. The concept of language telling a lot about the
ways an individual was raised can be seen in my own life, as well as in Carmen Fought s article

Designing A 3d Design Of 3d Printing
3d printing is the process of three dimensional solid objects from a computer file. The following
information is about 3D printing and the processes that it takes to 3D print. There are many pro and
cons to 3D printing that I will list below. In this paper I will also talk about what equipment it will
take to make a 3D print, But first we will talk about the steps to make a 3D design.
There are eight steps to print a 3D design. The first step is to start with making a virtual design of an
object you want to create. The file that you create the image from is called a (CAD) or Computer
Aided Design file. This software may provide some hints to the structural integrity you can expect in
the finished product. It will also help you with specific data about certain materials to create virtual
simulations of how the project will behave under certain conditions.
The second step is called Conversion to STL. You will have to convert the CAD drawing, to the STL
format. STL is an acronym for standard tessellation language. Which is a file format developed for 3D
Systems in 1987 for use by its stereolithography apparatus (SLA) machines. Most 3D printers use STL
files in addition to some proprietary file types such as, ZPR by Z corporation. Some of the types of
printers include, Sterolithography or (SLA), Digital Light Processing (DLP), Fused deposition
modeling (FDM), Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), Selective laser melting (SLM), Electronic Beam

Petruchio s Treatment Of Women In The Taming Of The Shrew
Fighting Fire with Fire In Elizabethan England, men were considered the dominant gender in society.
Women were expected to be submissive, obedient, and caring. Men often took somewhat controlling
measures to create the perfect wife. In Shakespeare s The Taming of the Shrew , Katherina is
frequently compared to a shrew because of her rebellious behavior and need for independence. When
Petruchio travels to Padua looking for a wife and hears about Katherina s wealth, he develops a brutal
method for taming her wild personality and marries her. While the attitude towards women at the time
was generally negative and unequal, Petruchio s misogynistic treatment of Katherina makes him more

Human Rights Act Of 1998
Rights that protect human beings and the extent of legality of what they are entitled to as people are a
core part of each constitution globally. The extent of human rights protection varies from country to
country, with total democracies having most human rights that encompass freedom of speech and
expression among other freedoms. These are the most sovereign of laws as they express how liberal
and powerful the majority can be as opposed to the minority being powerful in some countries or
kingdoms. In some countries, the part of the constitution (just answer legal) is referred to as the Bill of
Rights. In the United Kingdom, they are referred to as the human rights act of 1998. It was previously

innovation compared with a typical corporation s research and development. The goal of Cleveland
Clinic Innovations was to provide incentives to the Cleveland Clinic Foundation employees while also
adding benefits and technology to society. Generating revenue and profit were still very important but
less of the main focus. After year of improvement and iteration, Cleveland Clinic Innovations is a
success in just about any measure. It may have been able to reach new highs by not being restrained
by the typical measures for success. In an environment where societal benefit is important, potential
innovators will be more encouraged to step up and show off their ideas even if the inventor is not sure

This is not the ideal choice for any situation, if the group does not have the proper experience or
knowledge to complete a task or decision. Another disadvantage is that some people are not good at
setting their own deadlines or managing their own projects. Another reason type of leadership do not
work is because the group may lack motivation needed to complete a task, so with a leader to help
push complete a task they miss deadlines. Even though this is the type of leadership that most team

The Power Of Russia
The Russian Federation has been one of the world s greatest Super Powers and it has been for well
over a century. However, is Russia still considered the once great powerful nation that it once was?
Although, prior to 2009, Russia was using weapons that were decades old, the superpower continued
to maintain one of the largest militaries in the world. Russia s economy suffered a dramatic hit due to
a recession that it is slowly emerging from. The unwavering support of its allies has gradually
dwindled due to recent actions Russia s key leaders have taken; even so, there have been some key
improvements over the last few years that prove Russia may be moving towards a brighter future.
These few factors weigh into the debate and each ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Therefore, until the equipment and weapon arsenal have reached a complete state of improvement, the
Russian military will continue to fall behind the rest of the World Super Powers. The state of the
Russian economy does not make the situation any better. Oil makes up two thirds of the total exports
from Russia, despite multiple discussions to diversify resource reliance (David, 2017). The global
financial crisis of 2009, coupled with falling oil prices, international sanctions, and structural
limitations pushed Russia into a deep recession in 2015, with the GDP falling by close to 4%. (CIA
World Factbook, 2017). The contracting economy continues into 2016, with the GDP falling another
0.6%, expecting to fall by another 5% in 2017 if oil continues below $40 per barrel. Without an
immediate negotiation to either lift trade sanctions or find an alternative resource dependence, the
economic decline will continue. Trade sanctions emplaced after the Crimea incident in 2014 were
implemented by the European Union (EU) and the United States to target the Russian financial,
energy, and defense sectors (Lee, 2016). The continued devaluation of the Russian ruble multiplied the
effect of strain on the fledgling nation. Currency values fell approximately 50% since the middle of
2014; in turn, making it more expensive for Russia to import from other countries. The future of
Russia s economy is uncertain. Unless their leadership

Mosquitoes are the host to many diseases the pose a threat to humans, domestic animals, and wildlife.
Endemic birds are the most affected by the transmission of avian diseases through mosquitoes.
Controlling the mosquito popular is key in bringing back the native bird population. The Native
Hawaiian bird population is particularly prone to mosquitoes and other foreign pests because of how
isolated Hawaii is from the rest of the world. Native Hawaiian birds outside of the range of

Human Traficking and Female Sex Slaves
Introduction
Steve Galster and his team are in Thailand to help save thousands of women from being forced into
sex slavery. Central Asia has earned millions of dollars from forcing woman and young children from
being trafficked. In Bangkok, Thailand sex becomes one of the lucrative comities that many foreign
men go for. Most of the clients are Middle Eastern men and they go to Thailand for sex and most
women do the work willingly. One of the biggest well known organizations that operate human
trafficking is the Uzbeks. The Uzbeks hold their organization in the Grace Hotel, where there are a lot
of Middle Eastern men. They lure women from their poor countries and promise them a good job,
only soon to discover that they have been tricked ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
What stood out
What stood out to me was how many women are forced into Human Trafficking and how many little
organizations are to help women in those situations. Annie Dieselberg has an organization in Thailand,
where former prostitutes come in and try to forget their past by making then move forward with their
lives. The Uzbeks have threatened her numerous times but continues to offer her services to help those
women. In 21st Century Sex Slavery Dieselberg mentions, These women do not know what they are
getting themselves into, they can be murdered, ganged rape, and even abused. Women end up going
through a lot of other situations when being forced into sex slavery.
What Did I Strongly Agree With
I agree with how they are trying to stop the trafficking ring from taking these women and arresting
them for their crimes. Steve Galster mentions how it is hard to take these rings down because the
women are too scared to testify against their boss. There is a division of labor in the Uzbeks rings
because they have so many groups and they do not know if the ringmasters are female or male. Even
if it is a dangerous mission for Steve s team, he is brave enough to help dozen of women from being
trafficked.
What Did I Strongly Disagree With
What I disagree with is how many organizations are there that trafficked women into becoming
prostitutes. Many women are tricked into Thailand because they thought they would get a better

Similarities Of Mythical Heroes
Mythical heroes have more similarities than differences. They are all heroes that should carry the same
characteristics and have more similarities than differences.
In all of the myths, the heroes have shown characteristics, which helped them in different ways.
Similar to Isis and Gilgamesh Determination. The young girl s preparation to escape the house and
Finn McCool s Wife (Oonagh) preparation to take the massive giant back. Gilgamesh s bravery to
fight the big giant Humbaba and Oonagh s Bravery to not be scared of the giant.
It is that Unarguable Mythical heroes have mores similarities than differences. Isis and Gilgamesh
show similar characteristics which all display determination in each of their stories.

The preparation from the young girl is shown from the start as she brings a handkerchief, as she
knows that it would be useful. She also picked things that she needed, as she knew that she would
need it. You are a kind hearted girl and I will tell you what I can help to you. Along the path, you will
come across some objects.
This demonstrates Preparation as the young girl knew that Baba Yaga would use her, so she was
prepared to go and try to escape the house.
Oonagh was very prepared even with little amount of time. After Finn McCool made the bridge he
realised he did the wrong thing and led The giant to his house. Even with little time Oonagh was
prepared to get him back to his land. You men are always boasting about your muscles, but sometimes
you should use your brain instead.
Oonagh definitely has Preparation as she was prepared to meet the Massive Giant and scare him to go
back to his land.
The young girl and Oonagh certainly have similar characteristics to make them heroes of the story.
There are many more Characteristics that make heroes, the hero of their story.
Gilgamesh and Oonagh share parallel characteristics which both have Bravery. They show bravery in
different ways but make them both heroes.
Gilgamesh showed Bravery when he was in the forest cutting wood for the village. Then Humbaba
showed and Gilgamesh and Enkidu were fighting a great giant. Gilgamesh was brave and fought untill
the last minute. I am going to slay the giant, Humbaba!

Chinese Religions Research Paper
Have you ever wondered about Chinese religions? Just what they are like, or what their cultures
include? Well, you are about to find out!
The number of different Chinese religions is uncertain, but the important ones are: Taoism,
Confucianism, Christianity, Islam, and Buddhism.
Christianity was founded by Jesus Christ. It was founded in about 7 B.C. There were six eras when
Chinese became Christians. The first wave was said to be soon after Jesus death and in the first few
centuries of A.D. The second wave was Nestorianism starting from about the seventh century. The
third wave was Catholicism that was spread during the Yuan Dynasty (1206 1368). The fourth wave

Minimalism, Maya Lin and Vietnam Memorial Essay
Minimalism, Maya Lin and Vietnam Memorial Discussion
Minimal art is characterized by its simplicity in both form and content, where personal expression is
removed in order to achieve this. The intention of minimalist artists is to allow the audience to view a
composition more intensely because the distractions of theme etc. have been removed . Minimalism
can be detected as early as the 18th century where the artist Goethe constructed an Alatar of Good
Fortune that consisted of a stone sphere and a cube. In addition, in the 1920 s artists such as Malevich
and Duchamp created works that suggested at minimalist intentions. The Minimalist movement is
similar to Conceptual Art in that the outcome is used to express a theory. Minimalism is ... Show more

The video you watch before boarding the boats to take you to the memorial really puts that day into
perspective.
3) War memorial is a commemorative object, something intended to remind us of the people who have
served and died in and because of war. People may argue over which is the best form for a war
memorial, and whether war memorials should serve the further purpose of contributing to the
prevention of future wars. They may debate a particular memorial s artistic merit, its cost or its
location. However, common to all war memorials remains the intention that they serve as a reminder
to us of those we have lost to war.
4) I think Yad Vashem is the most effective and touching memorial. The displays are moving and
empowering. The Avenue of the Righteous reminds the world that there is always a faithful remnant of
good people and that because there were so few, we need to do more to vouch safe the world. The
educational programs and sites are rich with meaning and designed to give focus and inspire healthy
memory and renewed commitment to creating a just world.
5) The main problem is there is lack of American Symbols like flag, red amp; white colors, and
flowers. The memorial only focuses on people who died but I think this should be the purpose of a
memorial not patriotism or nationalistic ideas. (Check: http://www.usvetdsp.com/maya_lin_wall.htm)
6) Gallipoli Memorial at Anzac Cove by Ataturk is a touching one for me. You can see this

  • 3. Boxing Is A Sport With Conventional Rules Essay 1. Introduction Boxing is a sport with conventional rules, with longstanding history going back a huge number of years to the era of the ancient Greeks olympics.1 Boxing can be classed as a direct interactive sport. In both beginner and expert forms, the boxers wear cushioned gloves, striking and guarding with your fists clenched. Every session by and large goes on for 3 minutes and the victor is the person who handles the most punches or thumps out his adversary. Boxing is likewise called pugilism and prize fighting. There is a typical conviction that left given individuals are less skilful. In any case, the accomplishment of the soccer players skilfully utilizing their left feet, and the accomplishments of specialists and tennis players, 4 are likely the best cases demonstrating the invalidity of this perspective(Gursoy, 2009). 1.1 Background Problem Boxers assume one of two positions, mirror pictures of each other: southpaw or orthodox. The term orthodox stance points out the positioning of the boxer s hands and feet with the left hand and foot forward, and the right hand and foot backwards very close to the chest region this is common to a right handed person(Sorokowski, Sabiniewicz, Wacewicz, 2014). The expression southpaw , is also a boxing stance normal to left handers, alludes to having the boxers right foot and hand forward: a mirror picture of the orthodox stance. The selection of a stance for the most part is a lasting trademark. Seldom, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Their traditional descent groups, the membership of those descent groups, and leadership positions all played a role in their political systems. The Natchez people recognized a matriarchal descent group. They had a socio political system which included the following in descending order, The Great Sun, Nobles, Honored Men, and Stinkards (commoners). In contrast, the Natchez peoples operated as a hierarchy, and the Iroquois peoples operated more as a democracy. The Natchez people s political system was a sociopolitical system (matriarchal hierarchy). The descendant grouping factored into the political system in that they were nearly indistinguishable. The Sun rank was the highest socially, as well as politically, and held the most powerful political positions. The Nobles held secondary positions, and the Honored Men held some small political positions. The Commoners did not seem to have any political position. They all operated under their King, the Great Sun, thus mirroring a hierarchy. The Iroquois peoples elected officials to focus on goodwill, peace, and harmony. The Grand Council, of about 50 men, was selected by women and represented the leading matrilineages. Sled Dog Dr. Arleigh Reynolds the Associate Professor of Veterinary Nutrition, and Associate Dean at the University of Fairbanks has been studying the role of periodization in his very own sled dogs. Being a two time world champion of a sport as unique as sled dog racing Dr. Reynolds has done extensive research on the role of periodization and its effects on performance which has led to very successful research and career. Transportation in Alaska was very difficult during the early 1920 s. The frozen, mountainous, unexplored terrain made it very difficult to move supplies from one end of the state to the other. This is when Alaskan s began using Huskies to pull their load across the blizzard like land. In 1925 a small town in Northwest Alaska was at its peak of a gold rush, when an outbreak arose and needed antitoxins immediately to save the town of this incipient epidemic. Over 20 mushers and 200 dogs rose to the challenge to carry the medicine from Anchorage over 650 miles across the tundra to Nome. This gave birth to the Last Great Race on Earth. Over 40 years later in 1973 the first Iditarod was held in celebration to the mushers and dogs who were able to save the people of Nome. The race is now over 1,000 miles ... • 7. Similarities Between Underground And Notes From The... As I read Notes from the underground by Fyodor Dostoyevsky and watched the film Rashomon directed by Akira Kurosawa I noticed a few similarities and differences between the two. They were similar because they both are frame narratives, the narrator is unreliable, there were parts in first person or was written in first person and they both had analepsis. The main differences were the themes. The themes were very different in both stories. What is the theme in literature? A theme in literature is the main topic or topics of a story. As I read through the required text and watch the film I chose egoism and individual versus society for Notes from the Underground and multiplicity for Rashomon . A frame narrative is basically a story within a story. In Notes from the Underground the whole story is basically a bunch of stories that the narrator tells about his life. The narrator talks about his past and this is where analepsis comes in which is a flashback to a different time. For example the narrator lets us know at the beginning he is forty then later on he goes on to talk about what happens when he was twenty four. The narrator also is unreliable because the story is told in an irrational way. The film Rashomon also has a bunch of stories within the film. As each person tells their side, it s almost like mini stories. And as with Notes from the Underground the stories go back as analepsis. They flashback to the time when they happened to describe what actually happens. This film is described as an unreliable narrative because each story that was told was different, which makes you wonder what really happened. When I finished watching Rashomon I immediately said the theme is multiplicity. Every person that saw what happened had their own view of what happened. There was no story that was the exact say as the other. But that there says people will do anything to make a story sound good. Each interpretation of how everything went made someone look like someone else was to blame. There is a saying there is more than one side of a story and this film proves that. • 8. A New Robust And Fully Automatic Technique For Calibration... Abstract. The paper presents a new robust and fully automatic technique for calibration of three dimensional (3D) freehand ultrasound. 3D Freehand ultrasound involves mounting a position sensor on a standard probe. The echo graphic B scans can be localized in 3D, and can be compounded into dimensions. On the other hand, especially for quantitative use, this process requires a calibration procedure that fixes its accuracy and practicality. Calibration aims at defining the transformation (translations, rotations, scaling) among the coordinates system of the echo graphic images and the coordinate system of the localization system. We put forward a robust and fully automatic calibration method based on the Hough transform and robust estimators. Index terms: robotic ultrasound, autonomous acquisition, rgb d camera, B scan, robustness. INTRODUCTION In this work, we aim at closing the gap in the workflow of existing robotic support systems in order to allow for completely automatic 3D ultrasound acquisitions using a robotic imaging system. We present the pathway towards an autonomous robotic ultrasound system to help clinicians during interventions by performing multiple and especially reproducible examinations based on pre interventional planning. As it is mostly non invasive and has a real time capability and a comparatively low cost nature, 2D ultrasound is popular. Its major shortcoming is its weak capability of issuing quantitative accurate ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 9. Docetism In Gnosticism One of the early heresies was Docetism, which held that Jesus only seemed human. They based this belief on an assumption that God can t become flesh. Docetism treats John 1:14 as figurative where it states that the Word was made flesh. Part of their reasoning for this belief can be attributed to the view of flesh as sinful which would result as a problem for God, who is divine, to become imprisoned inside. However, Jesus was nailed to a cross and real blood flowed from his hands and side that is proof that Jesus was in fact human. In Gnosticism it was believed that the trinity was three hidden spiritual realities. They tended to think in the form of good against bad with the spirit being good and the physical being bad. It can be confusing ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The problem with the description from Apollonarius is that it implies that Jesus is just a flesh suit that God is controlling like a puppet. To be fully human Jesus must possess not only a flesh body but also a human mind and soul. Nestorius taught that Jesus was two persons with two natures. In our modern definition this would be schizophrenic or twins. Nestorius viewed Jesus as God and man working together but this goes against the idea that Jesus is God. It simply has Jesus just working with God. Eutyches takes the approach of monophysitism and claims that Jesus has one nature because he wanted to avoid separating Jesus into two different entities. His view makes Jesus a hybrid of God and man. Finally to try and put an end to the debates the Council of Chalcedon was held in AD 451. They set four parameters to define how the church understands Jesus that included Jesus as fully God, Jesus as fully man, Jesus as one person, and Jesus having two natures. This was good because instead of the focus being on what was wrong the parameters focused on what was right. The parameters also work in harmony with the Biblical description of the TrinityAugustine s life pursuit was after pleasure and delight. He was not only about seeking joy for himself but also for ... • 10. The Tale Of Fairy Tales 1. What is the genre of this story? Are there any other possible genres this story could fall into? This story is a Fairy tale. Fairy tales often have very archetypal and flat characters, often only embellished in re tellings by various authors/story tellers. It can be presumed that this is because most fairy tales come from European oral tradition, so only the most essential things about the plot remain. In this case, the archetypal folkloric characters are the king, the princesses (the youngest and oldest being the only two given lines), the wandering retired soldier (who s the protagonist), and the wise old woman who inexplicably knows all that is going on and helps him with magical items. There aren t any other genres this story could be, as fairy tales are a very niche category of story, as it has a way of plot and characters that is very unique to it genre. 2. What is the exposition of the story? Summarize it in your own words and provide an example of the text. The King s daughters go out dancing every night, but no one knows where they go. So the King makes a proclamation, that whoever can figure it out in three days will become king after him and marry his favorite of the daughters. If the person can t figure it out in the three days, they will be beheaded. Many princes from other countries come, try, and fail, and they re all beheaded. 3. Intellectual Property ( Ip ) Essay Intellectual Property (IP) can be broadly described as using human intellect to create something new or original, and it is collectively comprised of four categories: Trade secrets, trademarks, copyrights, and patents. Intellectual property is a valuable asset that must be protected and strategically managed. To fully foster innovation, intellectual property protection is crucial. If protection is lacking, than businesses and individual would not fully benefit from their inventions and could possibly refrain from research and development. Intellectual property drives economic growth and competitiveness. The direct and indirect economic impacts of innovation are overwhelming, accounting for more than 40% of U.S. economic growth and employment (GIPC, 2015, para. 3). Intellectual property contributes tremendously to our national and state economies. IP accounts for 74% of all US exports, which amounts to nearly $1 trillion. It is also important for consumers. Solid IP rights assist consumers in making choices about the safety, effectiveness and reliability in their purchases. Many industries count on sufficient enforcement of their IP, by means of trade secrets, trademarks, copyrights, and patents. According to the USPTO (2015) In the United States patents are available to any person who invents or discovers any new and useful process, machine, manufacture, or composition of matter, or any new and useful improvement thereof (para.6). In 2010, through President Barrack Obama s advocacy, the United States enacted the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act ( PPACA ) in an effort to ensure that all Americans have access to health coverage. As part of the PPACA Congress directed the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services ( HHS ) to develop and implement a Medicare Self Referral Disclosure Protocol. The SRDP is intended to foster the resolution of potential or actual violations of Stark. This Section will give an in depth look at disclosures prior to SRDP, its enactment and the important developments in its brief existence. 1. Disclosures Prior to the SRDP Prior to this enactment providers had the option to make unsolicited or voluntary refunds to Medicare administrative contractors who process claims and issue payments on behalf of CMS. Generally, these refunds are in the form of adjustment bills or checks. The Medicare contractors process the refunds and review the circumstances surrounding the overpayment and take appropriate steps to resolve the issue. Entities could also request an advisory opinion from CMS to resolve violations. For CMS to consider an advisory opinion the requester must be a party to the existing agreement and is the only individual or entity that may rely on that opinion. Also, entities could make disclosures through the Office of Inspector General ( OIG ) under its Self Disclosure Protocol ( SDP ). Today a Stark violation may still be ... He battles with hapless circumstances, ranging from a rigid relationship with his father to balancing popularity and ethics, all while combatting an internal issue of self consciousness due to a speech impediment. The significance of all the obstacles, conflicts and decisions is that they will determine what Jason will evolve into for the rest of his life. These scenarios epitomize the obstacles and pressures that a teenager encounters, and demonstrates how someone of that age grows while drudging through something that they ve never experienced before. One of the obstacles mentioned above, Jason s relationship with his father, slowly deteriorates throughout the novel and eventually ceases to exist. Before the relationship started to die out, Jason never seems to reach his father s standards, but when his father s relationship with his mum fails, Jason s father starts to fade away from Jason s life. In January Man Jason ventures into his father s office, in order to answer a phone, despite being instructed by his father specifically not to. The phone had been ringing endlessly, and Jason was trying to focus. So, Jason ventured into the office and answered. Somehow, Jason s father discovered and brought it up at Dinner. The following information is about 3D printing and the processes that it takes to 3D print. There are many pro and cons to 3D printing that I will list below. In this paper I will also talk about what equipment it will take to make a 3D print, But first we will talk about the steps to make a 3D design. There are eight steps to print a 3D design. The first step is to start with making a virtual design of an object you want to create. The file that you create the image from is called a (CAD) or Computer Aided Design file. This software may provide some hints to the structural integrity you can expect in the finished product. It will also help you with specific data about certain materials to create virtual simulations of how the project will behave under certain conditions. The second step is called Conversion to STL. You will have to convert the CAD drawing, to the STL format. STL is an acronym for standard tessellation language. Which is a file format developed for 3D Systems in 1987 for use by its stereolithography apparatus (SLA) machines.
