  2. In this presentation we will look at pay per click advertising, the action plan, the cost and time it takes along with tips and additional consideration for running your campaign.
  3. Introduction to pay per click advertising Pay per click marketing, or PPC, is a form of marketing in which ads are placed on websites, search engines, blogs, and advertising networks, and the advertiser pays a website for each visitor that is sent to their site by clicking on the ad.
  4. Action plan Making sure that the landing page provides clear, concise information, and instructions for your visitors and is optimized to convert the sale. This means that your advertising campaign is doing more than just sending visitors to a website. Like in any campaign you must not forget to track the conversion rate and test newer techniques to improvise on your campaign.
  5. Cost and time Since it is based on a bid/auction type format, you can set your budgets, and your ads will show until the budget is exhausted. The beauty of affiliate programs is that you only pay for results. It is possible to see results almost immediately, but perfecting strategies takes some time.
  6. Tips and tactics Analytics is the study and data collection of visitors to your website, and when used in ecommerce, is a powerful tool that you can use to understand your clients, visitors, and customers. Trying out several different landing pages, even simultaneously, can provide good information on problems like low conversion.
  7. Additional consideration Online bloggers, people with large friends lists in social media networks are great people to contact and advertise about your product or website. If you can get them interested, they can get others interested leading to a lot of free publicity.
