The document discusses the importance of recording labor progress using a partogram, which is a graphical tool to track key information about the mother, fetus, and labor progression over time. A partogram allows clinicians to monitor labor, identify delays early, and determine when interventions may be needed to prevent prolonged labor. It outlines the components recorded on a partogram, including maternal vital signs, fetal heart rate, cervical dilation, uterine contractions, and more.
Fetal skull is to some extent compressible and made mainly of thin pliable tabular (flat) bones forming
the vault. This is anchored to the rigid and incompressible bones at the base of the skull.
Sickle cell anemia is an autosome linked recessive trait that can be transmitted from parents to the offspring when
both the partners are carrier for the gene (or heterozygous). The disease is controlled by a single pair of allele, HbA
and HbS. Out of the three possible genotypes only homozygous individuals for HbS (HbS, HbS) show the diseased phenotype. The ability to predict the clinical course of SCD during pregnancy is difficult. It is mandatory to follow up the patient closely from the very beginning i.e. from preconception to antenatal till labor. SCD is associated with both maternal and fetal complications and is associated with an increased incidence of perinatal mortality, premature
labor, fetal growth restriction and acute painful crises during pregnancy.

It is a composite graphical recording of cervical dilatation and descent of head against duration of labour in hours.
It also gives information about fetal and maternal condition that are all recorded on single sheet of paper.
Partogram is a useful tool for the assessment and management of labour. This presentation describes the method to plot partogram and means how to assess prolonged labour by using it.
Partograph is a composite graphical recording of progress of labour and salient condition of mother and fetus. For progress of labor and conditions of the mother and the fetus. It was developed and extensively tested by the world health organization (WHO)
A Partograph is a graphical record of progress during labor.
Progress is measured by cervical dilatation against time in hours, as well as by providing a record of the important conditions of the mother and fetus that may arise during the process
HIV discrimination among health providers in Malaysia by Dr RubzDr. Rubz
Although doctors took oath that they will treat everyone the best they can and without judging anyone but discrimination still exist especially in HIV affected people. Due to this issue, Pertubuhan Advokasi Masyarakat Terpinggir Malaysia has taken a step to engage with doctors at government sector and desensitize them and find the line to stand together.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
Synthetic Fiber Construction in lab .pptxPavel ( NSTU)
Synthetic fiber production is a fascinating and complex field that blends chemistry, engineering, and environmental science. By understanding these aspects, students can gain a comprehensive view of synthetic fiber production, its impact on society and the environment, and the potential for future innovations. Synthetic fibers play a crucial role in modern society, impacting various aspects of daily life, industry, and the environment. ynthetic fibers are integral to modern life, offering a range of benefits from cost-effectiveness and versatility to innovative applications and performance characteristics. While they pose environmental challenges, ongoing research and development aim to create more sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives. Understanding the importance of synthetic fibers helps in appreciating their role in the economy, industry, and daily life, while also emphasizing the need for sustainable practices and innovation.
How to Make a Field invisible in Odoo 17Celine George
It is possible to hide or invisible some fields in odoo. Commonly using “invisible” attribute in the field definition to invisible the fields. This slide will show how to make a field invisible in odoo 17.
Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

4. PARTOGRAM PARTOGRAM is a graphical information about the progress of labour in which the salient information about the fetal well-being, maternal well-being and the progress of labour are recorded into a chart.
5. PARTOGRAM Is a managerial tool used to record all observations made on a woman and fetus in labour in one chart. Partogram helps to identify at an early stage those women whose labour is slow. A managerial tool for prevention of prolonged labour. IT’S SIGNIFICANT:
6. PARTOGRAM For all women who are in labour (i.e. either low or high risk group). WHO REQUIRE PARTOGRAM RECORDING
10. PARTOGRAM RECORDING Begin plotting at the “zero” hour on the partogram Enter the outcome of delivery 1 2 All entries made in relation to time when the observations are made 3 Notes should be legible, dated and timed. 4
