This document discusses the potential for replicating a successful bio-diesel project using jatropha curcas seeds through cooperatives in Nepal. It describes two case studies of existing bio-diesel operations in Nepal and outlines the benefits of implementing more widespread bio-diesel production. These include utilizing wasteland for crops, generating employment, producing renewable energy, reducing emissions, and increasing energy security by producing fuel domestically.
