The gold lustreware bowl by Galileo Chini is an object which could seem on first glance devoid
of special significance: just a beautiful decorative object enjoyed at face value. (Fig.1) But in the
seeming void I saw a repository of layered meanings which I attempted to interpret by examining
the artistic cross cultural influences in Florence in the late nineteenth century. And to address the
question of why the Mediaeval Hispano Moresque gold lustreware and the design motifs of the

Most part of my life was spend in Cameroon ( Africa). Racial differences was never an issues. We
never talk about race differences, but tribal differences. While some tribes claim to be the dominant
tribe others feel they are being marginalized due systemic corruption. For instance the government
influential persons like, the Governors, minister, divisional officers etc. would employed and pass
out opportunities only to people from their tribes. If by chance or some reason one happens to be
employed in that department, one is likely to experience the tribal differences.
However, as an African, at the age of 12, we learned about slave trades; Particularly which tribe
was responsible for capturing other tribe members, what techniques they used, how they were
categorized, how much they were worth but interestingly, how they were transported and treated at
their destination. Although there was relieved to know that, slave trade has been abolished but the
incident still stigmatized us and elevated our anger towards the betraying tribes. Before coming to
America, I know that African American are called niggers , a racial slur used derogatorily towards
people of color.
Learning about slave trade at the age 12, was when I became aware of racial differences, Although
it has been difficult to grasp the understanding or to put into perspective how white people the slave
master were treating slaves particularly Africans, but there is more anger towards the betraying
tribes, who were the dominant and privileged tribe at that time. Coming from an egalitarian point of
view slave trade was sinful and odious but most disgusting are those who sold their own people,
knowing fully well what their fate would be and for something insignificant. Some of the things that
the were use during trade by barter was pathetic; human beings were exchange for clothes,
ammunition, furniture etc.

Scottish Independence Good or Bad Scotland is at a turning point. The 300 year old Union is

My Musical Journey

My Musical Journey, well my Journey to Music all had started when I was young. When I was
in fifth grade I was having trouble with school, and doing things I was supposed to do. I was
only 10 years old, life was still a new journey that I was experiencing and was excited to go
through. A friend of mine named Jordan had been visiting in Coronado California, from Texas,
and brought along some motor bikes with him. He was basically a professional at the sport, and
had been doing it for years, while I had never done it before. Him and his Father had invited me
to go out motor biking with them in Julian, California, on one of the days they were here. And of
course I said yes I was so excited and was glad they chose me to go along with them that day.
Our ride to Julian California took about a hour or two to get there. We arrived in the desert along
a highway and parked the car on the side of the road, not knowing what lied ahead of us. We
pulled the motor bikes out of the trailer and got on our gear, so we would be protected. At first I
had a little trouble with handling the motorbike with the clutch and the geers but after a while I
had gotten the hang of it. We had been riding for about 1 2 hours that night. Until something
horrible had happened. I was motor biking about 30 feet away from the road, where it was
supposed to be safe and uninhabited by cars. Along the highway still 30 feet away from it I had
been motor biking not knowing what was going to happen

Introduction:
The purpose of this experiment was to indirectly study the effects of environmental stress on cell
membranes. Watercourses have been with discarding of domestic and manufacturing, for centuries.
Alarms have only escalated about the ecological alterations in the recent years of what would be the
consequences. Scientists have developed a thorough investigation in search of various man harmful
waste that is damaging the environment of watercourses.
The cell membranes are the utmost essential organelle that surrounds all living cells. Its purpose
is to control what goes in and out of the cells and is accountable for the various other properties
of the cells as well. The nucleus and other organelles also have membranes that are practically
indistinguishable. Membranes are organised in a mosaic arrangement, comprised of
carbohydrates, proteins and phospholipids. This can be seen in Figure 1. The objective of this
indirect examination is to study the causes of various solvents and conducts on live beetroot cells.
The reason why beetroot cells have been selected for this experiment is because they have a big
membrane bound central vacuole, as seen in Figure 2. The red colour anthocyanin, which provides
the beetroot its bright colour is located in the vacuole. The cell membrane encloses the whole
beetroot cell. The anthocyanin cannot leak out if the membranes stay unharmed. The red colour
can escape if the membranes are hassled or broken.

The Cognitive theory is based on internal states, such as motivation, decision making, thinking,
and attention. Children show some signs of thinking and decision making during the study;
