College Vs. High School
Welcome to college! Congratulations on making it this far! Now the time comes to ramp up the
ante! No such program as stepping up to college exists as it does for for high school. Oh wait! It
s called high school. Move it or lose it now, your future rests on your shoulders. High school
teachers just handed you your future based on the way you schooled, and collegeprofessors tell you
to figure it out. College trips up hundreds of students a year, refrain from letting yourself become
one of them. Your class strategies must improve as will your study habits and reading habits to
fulfill new demands of college classes and avoid sliding into the pitfalls of doom. Umpteen
million utilities and tricks to remember when it comes to college classes begin to surface if you
google college vs. high school. Sever Kvigne, a student at UWGB, tells us our first point
regarding classes. Students too often skip class, Kviane says, and wind up failing (9/4/15).
Attending class gleams success, regardless how simple catching back up by finding a friend and
their notes may seem. Overthinking it, fabricating excuses, and debating reveal a descent into the
pits; just go. You will ameliorate learning since your brain stores what you hear and correlates that
to the image of your notes; the process of active learning. Honestly, where else can you learn the
material this effectively? With notetaking in mind, we explore what Rachael, Daigle, and Rachael,

Supply and Demand and Price Essay
1.Name two types of market failure. Explain why each may cause market outcomes to be inefficient.
Market Power In some markets, a single buyer or seller may be able to control the market prices.
Market Power can cause inefficiency because it keeps the price and quantity away from the
equilibrium of supply and demand.
Externalities The impact of one person s actions on the well being of a bystander. Since buyers and
sellers do not consider these side effects when deciding how much to consume and produce, the
equilibrium in a market can be inefficient from the standpoint of society as a whole.
2.What happens to consumer and producer surplus when the sale of a good is taxed? How does the
change in consumer and producer surplus ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This is because people will continue demanding/buying the product. No matter how expensive
bread may become, people will still rely on it as a necessary staple of survival. On the other side of
the coin, when demand is more elastic, the deadweight loss will be greater since the demand
curve is flatter. The less people rely on a service/product the more likely they will be to forfeit its
usage.
4.What does the domestic price that prevails without international trade tell us about a nation s
comparative advantage?
The effects of free trade can be determined by comparing the domestic price without trade to the
world price. A low domestic price indicates that the country has a comparative advantage in
producing that good and that the country will become an exporter. A high domestic price indicates
that the world has a comparative advantage and that the country will become an importer. When a
country becomes an exporter, producers are better off than consumers. When a country becomes an
importer, consumers are stronger than producers. In both situations, the gains from the trade exceed
the losses.
5.What is the difference between the unilateral and multilateral approaches to achieving free trade?
Give an example of each.
Unilateral trade agreement would be any agreement that is imposed on one national by another, and

There are two main cultures involved in the negotiation process. The Japanese and French culture.
The Japanese is a face culture that emphasis on the interests of the collective, relative, to those of
the individual. Face cultures are very hierarchical structures and the fundamental group is the
family. Japanese view conflict as violations of duties and obligations. In a face culture once an
agreement for its complications for roles and responsibilities has been reached, the relationship is
likely to be very stable. When face cultures analyze a problem, they focus on the problem and the
context that might have caused the problem, and based on experienced knowledge. On the other
hand, the French culture is consider to be an honor culture, this means the culture generally

Indian Removal Act Report
After the removal, Indians began to completely change their culture to live as an American culture.
Schools were created and they had their own newspapers as well as their own governments (Peppas
2013, page 41). They wore the same clothes as Americans (Indian Affairs). Throughout the years,
they have been able to create their own governments and were recognized by the American
government.
The Indians had every reason not to trust Americans after all they went through being constantly
pushed off their land. They were always seen as two separate groups and Americans have treated
the Indians as less than them until recently. The government began to see that the way the Indians
were treated was wrong and should have never been forced to move. There was never an official
apology for the Indian Removal Act and treatment until 2009, when President Barack Obama
signed the Native American Apology Resolution into law (Peppas 2013, page 43). This was to

Product Description Of Rat And Monkey Based Experiments Essay
Adipotide: Product Description
Adipotide is a synthetic peptide that possesses anti obesity properties. this peptide particularly
targets and destroys specific proteins that constitute the surface of blood vessels that support
white fat (adipose) tissue hence interfering with the supply of blood to the fat cells and resulting
in their adoptosis (reabsorption and metabolization). Adipotide was initially referred to as
Prohibitin TP01 (Prohibitin Targeting Peptide 1). It is a peptidomimetic that was synthesized by
American scientists as a potential therapeutic drug for obesity and its amino acid sequence is
CKGGRAKDC GG D(KLAKLAK)2. Adipotide has a molecular formula of
C111H204N36O28S2. Peptidomimetics are tiny protein like chains that imitate peptides. It is an
experimental drug for weight loss. It was developed in a way that enables it to bind to two
receptors, prohibitin and ANXA2 which are found in blood vessels that support white adipose tissue
. In rat and monkey based experiments, Adipotide has been shown to bring about rapid weight loss
in both mice and rhesus monkeys. In general, Adipotide has been observed to bring about weight
loss by reducing fat tissue especially in the abdominal region), rapid metabolic changes, and
decreased food intake. Product History
Adipotide was first synthesized by Dr.Wadih Arap and Renata Pasqualini in their efforts to develop
a drug with therapeutic properties in the treatment of cancer. The researchers specifically designed

The Importance Of Antibiotic Resistance In Antibiotics
A serious public health problem is the rise in antibiotic resistance. Some bacteria that can cause
serious disease are becoming resistant to most commonly available antibiotics. Antibiotic
medications are used to kill bacteria, which can cause disease and illness. A major contribution to
human health is antibiotic medication. Many diseases that once killed people in the past can now
be treated effectively with antibiotics. However, it has come to the surface that some bacteriahave
become resistant to commonly used antibiotics. Antibiotic resistant bacteria are bacteria that are not
controlled or killed by antibiotics. They can multiply and even survive in the presence of an
antibiotic. Most infection causing bacteria can become resistant to at least some antibiotics.
Bacteria that are resistant to many antibiotics are known as multi resistant organisms (MRO).
(Antibiotic Resistant bacteria, 2017) In the late 1940s and throughout the 1950s, S. aureus
developed resistance to penicillin. Methicillin, a form of penicillin, was introduced to counter the
increasing problem of penicillin resistant S. aureus. At this time Methicillin was one of most
common types of antibiotics used to treat S. aureus infections; but in 1961, British scientists
identified the first strains of S. aureus bacteria that resisted methicillin. This was the so called birth
of methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). It was not until 1968 that the first reported
human case of MRSA in the

The Interest Rates On Federal Student Loans Essay
College is not quite as optional as it once used to be in the era of our parents and their parents. To
get a job that will pay substantially more than with just a high school degree, it is becoming more
and more common for high school graduates to go straight to college. With the price of college
skyrocketing, it is extremely common to take out student loans (from the government or private
institutions), all which come with interest. This paper will focus on the different aspects of student
debt, including rates, how they compare with car and mortgage debt, forbearance and deferment,
default and delinquency, and adverse selection and moral hazard.
The interest rates on federal student loans are set every year depending on the 10 year treasury
note rate in addition to a fixed percentage depending on the loan type. They are set by the United
States Congress. Depending on the type of loan you acquire, your rate will be different. Direct
Subsidized Loan and Direct Unsubsidized Loan rates for undergraduates are currently 3.76
percent, down from 4.29 percent last year. Direct Unsubsidized Loan rates for graduate students
are currently 5.31 percent, and were 5.84 percent last year. Direct PLUS Loan rates for graduate
students and parents are currently 6.31 percent and were 6.84 percent last year. [Access Group,
2016].
Privately issued loans may be issued by private institutions such as banks, schools, credit unions,
and state agencies. Generally, privately issued loans are more

What Factors Contributed To The Civil War
INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS
Strengthening U.S. Foreign Power and Influence
The Union defeat of the Confederacy resulted in a strengthened U.S. government, which led to the
defeat of the French in Mexico, the confederation of Canada in 1867, and the purchase of the
Alaskan territory.
After the fall of the Confederacy, U.S. leaders were able to deploy troops to the Texas Mexico
border to help resist the French intervention in Mexico. This pressure, combined with Mexican
resentment, led to the French Emperor Napoleon II to abandon his quest for Mexico.
Meanwhile in the North, Canadian politicians feared a resurgence of the U.S., and some U.S.
politicians called for the annexation of the British North American territory. This led the Canadians

government whether it would be just a confederation of separate states or one nation with a national
government, and whether a nation that stated all men were created equal with a right to liberty
would continue to allow the practice of owning slaves.
The Civil War was the result of basic differences between the free and slave states. After Abraham
Lincoln was elected President in 1860, vowing to keep slavery out of the territories, seven states
from the South seceded from the Union and established their own nation. Lincoln and most of the
people from the North refused to recognize this new nation as being separate from the U.S.
The war was triggered at Fort Sumter near Charleston, South Carolina, when the Confederate
Army claimed this U.S. fort as their own on April 12, 1861. They forced the federal troops there
to lower the American flag and surrender. President Lincoln sent U.S. forces there to try to
suppress the Confederates. An additional four states seceded to join the Confederacy. By the end of
1861, several battles had already been fought in Virginia, Missouri, North Carolina and South
Carolina and nearly one million men confronted one another along 1200 miles from Virginia to

Bob Dylan Meaning
This short song may not be the nicest to the ears ,but brings up an important message that involves
almost everyone. From mothers to world leaders, we can all learn from this genius song from a
folk singer/songwriter. Bob Dylan touches upon several topics and events going on that time period
,but the main theme of the song is that the world is changing and that it is inevitable. This song
pretty much sums up what Bob Dylanis all about. Showing his opinion on serious matters like
war and politics, and other less important topics like today s culture. Well according to us, past
cultures. Bob Dylan is a straightforward type of man, he will be honest when no one wants to.

listen carefully to this very relaxed short song, there are several vague but informative supporting
statements that helps one to agree with Dylan. In the beginning half of the song, he talks about
senators, congressmen, and a war. As mentioned in the piece, Come senators, congressmen. Please
heed the call. Don t. stand in the doorway. Don t block up the hall. For he that gets hurt. Will be

what I found made shocked me. Johnson s administration passed an unprecedented amount of
legislation, with much of it designed to protect the nation s land, air, water, wilderness, and quality
of life. Even though he meant to help he angered many people. The reaction to his Great Society
and to broader trends helped spawn a dramatic political polarization in the United States that some
historians have labeled a conservative counterrevolution. The thing that made it worse was that he
had to blame to the 58,000 american lives in the Vietnam war. On August 7, 1964, Congress passed
the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution, authorizing President Johnson to take any

The Transformation Of The Land In O Pioneers, By Willa Cather
According to National Geographic, 40% of the Earth today is farmland soil being manipulated to
feed the 7.6 billion human beings on this world. We have taken over this world like ants
swarming to a piece of rotting fruit, without much thought to the organisms that have been on
Earth long before us. Our lives may be easier in that we do not have to forge for our food or water
anymore, but with the stress of today s world, was the tradeoff worth the natural land? Willa Cathers
novel, O Pioneers! brings attention to the way we choose to use the land, whether it is in our
best interests, the land s, or both. The characters in O Pioneers! demonstrate how in order to
maintain a successful relationship with the land we live on, it is necessary to be able to both
adapt to the land and mold it to fit our physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. The land around
us provides us with food, water, shelter, and nutrients, but we cannot live in an untouched
environment. We must mold the land to meet our physical needs, yet we cannot be too ruthless
and overwork the land. In O Pioneers! the farmers settle on the Divide, farming and forcing the
land to produce the food they needed to survive, but the majority of the farmers have no luck.
After a full twenty years, the tables finally turn and Alexandra explains to Carl how she has
become rich from doing almost nothing at all: We hadn t any of us much to do with it, Carl. The

Fuzzy Systems Essay
Preface
This article is written for an intended audience of undergraduate or graduate students, this article
provides an introduction to, and an overview of what fuzzy systems are. Presented in this article is
an acknowledgment of the contributions that fuzzy systems are making to the Artificial Intelligence
discipline, as well as examples of fuzzy systems which are in use today.
Abstract
The concept and implementation of fuzzy systems is part of the natural course of evolution for
humans who are a part of a society where access to information is plentiful but efficient utilization
of massive amounts of information is power. To get at the information, we need systems which can

The origin of fuzzy systems can be traced to the first introduction of formal logic by Aristotle.
Logic introduced by Aristotle was considered to be bilevel logic of either true or false, and is
acknowledged to be the foundation of most of the growth of the sciences which are known
today.[1] However, it was Plato who is accredited with laying the actual foundations for fuzzy logic
when he proposed that there exists a third area beyond true and false where things were not always
true or always false.[3]
Digital computers in use today are based upon the ideas of Aristotle, where a single bit of
information found in a computer is considered either true or false, that the transistor gate is either
turned on or off. Many fundamental aspects of society today are based upon concepts of right or
wrong, innocent or guilty, a member of a group or not a member of some group.
The human race has toyed with and enjoyed the concept of a perfect society, where everything
was easily classified into good or bad, right or wrong, true or false and has created computers to
respond to that type of idealistic and simplistic world. This philosophy has served the human race
well as computers were created to operate in very predictable ways that were

The Day That Changed My Life
The sun shined into the bedroom and my heavy, tired eyes eagerly opened. A huge smile was
revealed on my face and a burst of chuckles traveled across the room. The laughter of a four year
old child filled the hallways. The excitement was visible in my coffee colored eyes as I ran down
the stairs. I was elated! Today was February 4th, 2005; it was the day! This was the day that I got
to finally play dress up with my motherand baby sister. I expected this day to be the best day of my
life! However, it was also the day that changed my life for the worst.
As soon as I reached the last step, I dashed straight forward into the living room. I found my mom

I slipped out of my pajamas and put the frilly dress over my head. I skipped around the room
while watching the dress twirl around in majestic circles. After minutes upon minutes of prancing
around the room, I began to hear my stomach striking up a conversation with me. The growls
could be heard a mile away. In order to tame the hungry beast inside of my belly, I turned to my
mom and asked her to make me a bowl of Nissin Ramen noodles.
When I was younger, I believed that nothing was better than eating a tub of chicken noodles for
breakfast! My mom agreed to make me the soup, yet she gave me a simple warning before she
left the room. Tyra, she began, don t get that food from the microwave. You re gonna hurt
yourself. Okay? She always asked this of me before she cooked me a hot meal. All the other times,
I actually listened to her warning. This time, the warning went through one ear and out the other.
For that reason, I recklessly agreed to do what she had told me to do. Thinking that I would actually
follow through with that command, she headed downstairs with my sister to prepare my meal.
Since my room was upstairs and directly above the kitchen, I could hear my mom pulling glass
dishes out of one of the cabinets. I decided to change out of the princess dress because I did not
want to risk spilling soup all over it. I was a very messy eater! I took off the princess dress and
shoved it back into the trunk. While in search

Rise Of Sivagami Essay
A Critical Review of The Rise of Sivagami
By Uganeswary Venugopal
INTRODUCTION
SS Rajamouli , a famous movie director while he was directing Bahubali movie ( The Beginning
The Conclusion ) asked writer Anand Neelakantan to pen the story of Mahishmathi. The Rise of
Sivagami is an Indian Historical fiction novel written by Anand Neelakantan. He present this
story revolves around Sivagami, character of Bahubali. I was personally mesmerized when I
read Sivagami saying I swear, I will destroy the Kingdom of Mahishmathi! I kept on reading the
book and the sequence of story was excellent. This paper will review Sivagami s story as well and
the struggles faced by her in the journey of searching the manuscript and its secret.

The author portrays brother sister relationship in an improper way. Brother and sister relationship
is the most beautiful and pure relationship on the earth. But in this story this unique relationship
is shown in a wrong manner. For example, Raghava kissed Sivagami when they had a journey to
the mansion. Although Raghava s father adopted her but he treated Sivagami as his own
daughter. She also thought like that. But Raghava had affection with Sivagami and kissed her.
He supposed treated Sivagami as his sister not a lover. This kind of plots may divert the mind of
readers to a bad way. The third weakness is the introduction of Sivagami within first chapter.
Telling a character s history upfront immediately gives readers a sense of formative experiences
and character psychology. The author describes Sivagami s character in stand alone description.
Sivagami plays a main role in this story. The author just mention her name in the story straight
forwardly without any description. It will make the readers to get bored.

The Opposing case of Texas v. Johnson
The Supreme Court s decision on the case of Texas v. Johnson has been a controversial one, as it
involves the burning of our national symbol, the American flag. It leads to the question: Does the
desecration of the American flag a way of expressing speech that is protected by the first
amendment? Shouldn t the destruction of a true American symbol be protected and preserved, as it
is a symbol that represents our country? There is a great amount of criticism that Texas v. Johnson
has been faced with; most of which are valid points that could contribute to possibly overriding this

The flag is a symbol of freedom and prosperity, and of hope. It is also used to express patriotism
for example, in which solders raise the flag to symbolize an American victory in war. The
American flag is the symbol that exemplifies our nation. Justice Stevens, who disagreed with the
majority s argument, states in his dissenting opinion that: The ideas of liberty and equality have
been an irresistible force in motivating leaders like Patrick Henry, Susan B. Anthony, and Abraham
Lincoln, schoolteachers like Nathan Hale and Booker T. Washington, the Philippine Scouts who
fought at Bataan, and the soldiers who scaled the bluff at Omaha Beach. If those ideas are worth
fighting for and our history demonstrates that they are it cannot be true that the flag that uniquely
symbolizes their power is not itself worthy of protection from unnecessary desecration. (Texas v.
Johnson, 1989, Dissenting Opinion, http://www.law.cornell.edu/supct/html/historics

feelings against the country, while showing no appreciation for what these people have done to
make our country the way it is. It is a symbolic way to express hatred towards the US, and it
should not be allowed, as the flag characterizes our history and who we are as a country, the fifty

from understanding viewing as processes of meaning making towards recognizing them as

Anglo Saxon Warrior Analysis
The Expectations of an Anglo Saxon Warrior
Paul Watson stated, I do what I do because it is the right thing to do. I am a warrior, and it is the
way of the warrior to fight superior odds . In this quote, Paul Watson is describing the duty of a
warrior. People have many assumptions as to what warrior s expectations were back in the Anglo
Saxon Era. Warriors did whatever it took to finish their duty. In the poems, The Seafarer, The
Wanderer, and Beowulf, warriors were big parts of the stories. Learning about what their
expectations included was very helpful in determining the kind of people they were. Warriors in
the Anglo Saxon Era were very loyal and brave to their kings and or higher powers. Warriors were
also known for traveling great distances in certain circumstances. In all three poems, the
expectations for warriors remained the same.
Bravery can be shown throughout all three stories. Bravery can be described as courageous
behavior or character. Epic heros were not the only people known for their bravery. Warriors
showed bravery just as equally. In The Seafarer, it states, But there isn t a man on earth so proud
/ So born with greatness, so bold with his youth/ Grown so brave, or so graced by God ( The
Seafarer 39 41). In The Wanderer, it states, Though woefully toiling on wintry seas/ With churning
oar in the icy wave/ Homeless and helpless he fled from fate ( The Wanderer 3 5). In this quote
from The Wanderer , the man has no motivation but he is brave

An actor in each setting will use communication to portray how they are feeling. For example,
sports fans will use communication in order to display their emotions toward the status of the game.
During church, a person in attendance will sing along to songs and engage in conversation to
display their support and approval towards the word of God and the teachings of the Bible. Where
it is acceptable to display your emotions in one setting it may not be acceptable in another.
It is often questioned what determines deviance, or what norms are people complying to that
determines what is deviant and what is not. I have noted that the norms that determine deviance
change depending on the particular setting, but which person determines these norms? Is the person
that is deemed the most powerful the one that establishes these norms? Such as the referee, or the
preacher, because these people are most often seen as the most influential, do they determine the
behavior that is acceptable in that specific setting? Human beings need norms to guide and direct
their behavior, to provide order and predictability in social relationships and to make sense of and
understanding of each other s actions (McLeod). Are the difference in norms due to the idea that
they must change in order to make sense of the change in behavior between two settings?
Overall, each setting had a large difference in the norms that were deemed as acceptable. The

Hurricanes And Its Impact On Hurricane Katrina
INTRODUCTION: It is well known that hurricanes are extremely dangerous and cause a
significant amount of damage and devastation among many cities and countries. Researchers have
studied and found that hurricanes could be classified and categorized into five different areas
ranging from least severe to most extreme. Category one being the least severe and Category five
would be known to destroy a whole city. Hurricanes are categorized on how much damage one can
cause and how strong they are. There have been many hurricanes around the world that were known
to cause a significant amount of damage but not one hurricane was compared to what the people
from New Orleans, Louisiana experienced when Hurricane Katrinahit on Monday August 29, 2005.
Katrina was known to be the hurricane that devastated the country, and the biggest hurricane
recorded in the history of the world. The city of New Orleans was confronted with social, ethical,
and economic implications after the tragic occurrence of Hurricane Katrina.
THE DEVELOPMENT: Hurricane Katrina developed from a Tropical wave in Africa. This
Hurricane fell in category five that struck New Orleans, Louisiana and the Gulf of Mexico. The
hurricane traveled through Brazil, and it was known to be one of the first hurricanes to ever hit
the country of Brazil. Katrina took about five to seven days to become a category five storms, and
then it finally hit its main areas. This hurricane caused a significant amount of damage in the areas

John Branson Informative Speech
Introduction For those of you who don t know where the city of Branson, Missouri is, let me
explain it to you so you have an good understanding. Branson is a city located in Missouri, which is
a state in the Midwestern region of the United States which borders the states of Iowa, Illinois,
Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nebraska. Bransonhas a good geography
along with an interesting past and attractions that are worth visiting. Some points that I will cover
include the geography of Branson, the city s history, and a past time that Branson is best known
for. Now since we ve talked about what I will cover in this speech, let s get into the geography of
Branson.
Body
Branson is a city located in Taney County which extends into Stone County in the state of Missouri
(which was admitted to the union as the 24th state on August 10, 1821 from Missouri Territory). It s
located in the Ozark Mountains 43 miles south of Springfield, near the Arkansas state line as
well as on Lake Taneycomo, near the Bull Shoals lake, Table Rock Dam, and Table Rock Lake
and State Park. A city of less than 7,000 permanent residents, Branson attracts up to 7 million
tourists with vacationers swelling it s population of 65,000 during peak season The region where
the Ozark Mountains are located is more dramatic than the rest of the central Mississippi valley
area. Many natural springs are in the area due to a vast system of underground rivers underneath the
rugged terrain. Other than

Social Movements And Collective Action Essay
INTRODUCTION: Theories regarding social movements and collective action are precisely
significant and valuable. They allow us to describe and explain such movements how they form and
organize, their agendas, the extent to which mobilization or counter mobilization process succeeds
or fails in different situations, and how they evaluate strategies and policies in the light of specific
outcomes. Self evidently, the terms and perceptions and the dialogue that we bring to bear must be
in coherence with the particular social movementthat we are studying. Theories neither ascend nor
activate in an empty space, they have an itemized background behind their emergence and they are
revolutionized in response to the realities of the subject matter. As a result of the writings and
research there has been a lot of debate regarding diverse perspectives of various researchers.
Advances and defense of the existing school of thoughts were also presented along with the
emergence of new school of thoughts altogether. Comprehensive research related to social
movements is being conducted not only in the field of social sciences, but also in politics,
communication and history. The purpose of this chapter is to review some of the theories of social
movements. The theories that we have discussed are Mass Society Theory, Marxist theory, Relative
Deprivation Theory, Resource Mobilization Theory and Framing theory. An analysis on the
application of these approaches in certain situations, the

Violence Is Not Coordinated With Guns
All over the news we hear of incidents where there is violence paired with guns. Granted there
are the instances that violence is not coordinated with guns but we do now hear about that as
often. A focus that I have taken as a criminal justice major at Bluffton is looking at school
shootings. I have always found them an interesting subject, especially when trying to figure out
why they occur, and in what manner. Looking at the world especially the USA there are a lot of
what we consider Mass Shootings happening per year. According to PBS.Org, the San
Bernardino shootings in California was the 355th Mass shooting in the USA in 2015. This
means roughly that there was a mass shooting every single day happening. What is a Mass
shooting exactly? Four or more people are killed or injured by gunfire (Christopher Ingraham).
That means that in 355 shootings four or more people died in these incidents, sometimes even
more. This makes the liberals go absolutely nuts over gun rights, saying that they need to be taken
away. On the other side of things, it makes the total conservatives hoot and holler about how we
need to have more guns to protect ourselves. But what if guns were just cut out of the situations
completely? What I am going to be doing is taking the mainstream mass shootings that we have
had and adding a restorative justice piece to them to see what that would look like. I know most
people who have committed these crimes have passed or are locked up, but if they

Models From Simple Random And Complex Survey Designs
Models (GLM) to data from simple random and complex survey designs. This program supports a
range of sampling distributions including Gaussian, inverse Gaussian, multinomial, binomial,
negative binomial, Bernoulli, Poisson, and gamma. The last program, MAPGLIM can be used to
fit GLM models to the multilevel data. Each of these programs can function as stand alone program.
To estimate a model with missing data, LISREL by default uses the full information maximum
likelihood (FIML) approach. However, users may also opt to impute missing values using either
expectation maximization or Markov Chain Monte Carlo algorithms. Beginning with version 9.10,
LISREL will automatically provide robust estimation of standard errors and chi square statics if a
raw file is used as a data input. The default estimation method in LISREL is Maximum Likelihood
(ML) even if an estimated asymptotic covariance matrix is provided, but the users may override the
default when setting up the model.
Together, the LISREL 9.2 package makes possible estimations of a wide range of statistical used
in educational research, such as exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis (EFA and CFA) with
continuous and ordinal variables, multiple group analysis, multilevel linear and nonlinear models,
latent growth curve models, and generalized linear models (GLM) to complex survey data and
simple random sample data (Byrne 2012; Sörbom 2001).

Abel Tesfaye, other known as The Weeknd, is a newly arising artist. The 25 year old singer
became a roaring sensation after his release of a trio of highly acclaimed mixtapes. Those being
House of Balloons, Thursday and Echoes of Silence. During the time these were released, Tesfaye
was completely mysterious, nobody knowing his real identity. This worked immaculately well
with the themes of his music, dark, sulky songs about meaningless sex and drug use. It was a
more revealing, less glamorous side of R B compared to the mainstream of the genre, this making

Earned It in 2014, lead single from the soundtrack to Fifty Shades Of Grey. This song has a
much different vibe then many of The Weeknd s other songs, this being more symphonic and
magnificent. It was apparent that he was moving out of his traditional and adapted sound of
alternative R B to reach a bigger, more general audience. Can t Feel My Face was more out of

Rene Magritte And Victor Brauner
The two artworks I have chosen to discuss in this paper are 3 D sculptures of two renowned
artists. These surrealists of two amazing sculptures are Rene Magritte and Victor Brauner. Both
of their artworks are located at The Menil Collection, Houston TX. These in the round sculptures
are entitled Megalomania (La folie des grandeurs) and Sign (Signe). First, Rene Magritte s medium
on his Megalomania masterpiece is bronze. It was sculpted in 1967, and the size of this artwork is
61 x 48 x 32 3/8 inches (Menil). Similarly, Victor Brauner s medium on his Sign artwork is gilded
bronze. The artwork was beautifully crafted as well in 1945 and casted in 1961. The size of this

Moreover, the shapes of both sculptures are organic and 3D with substantial mass. Furthermore,
the Megalomania shows an asymmetrical balance, while the Sign shows a symmetrical balance.
Moving to the cultural context of both artworks, both artists influences are tied back to their roots.
Thus, Rene Magritte who was born in Belgium (Encyclopedia Britannica) has great influences of
his mother. The sculpture of Megalomania is tied to his mother s influence, for it is representing a
woman s body. Some of his artworks subjects are women. On the other hand, Victor Brauner was
born in Romania. Brauner was active in an avant garde movement in Romania which deeply
influences his artwork such as the Sign (Wikiart). The era or the time of creation of these artworks
are not far distant from each other. The Megalomania was created in 1967, and the Sign was
created in 1945. During those years, surrealism was then practiced by many artists. This movement
was introduced in the 20th century, specifically in the early 1920s (surrealism.org). Based on my
direct observation, both sculptures exemplify the era of surrealism. Thus, Magritte and Brauner at
that time had to explore this form of art as well. Meanwhile, these two in the round sculptures have
similarities and differences. The similarities of the two sculptures are the following: both medium

Binyon For The Fallen
For the Fallen by Laurence Binyon is a third person tribute to the British men killed in action.
Written following the Battles of Mons and Marne, the first heavy fighting of the war by the
British, this poem deals largely with the finality of death for the men who fought at these battles
who no longer will enjoy friends and will never grow old as their surviving comrades do and
those who did not fight do. It describes soldiers as sons of England and recognizes their sacrifices
as acts of martyrdom that the survivors of war and those at home are not to forget. In its final two
stanzas it recognizes their place among the stars, beings that will never truly be gone.
2) In this poem, Binyon is trying to say that there is a justification and glory in the death and that
these young men who gave their lives have not died in vain, but in the cause of the free . He also
insists that despite the fact they may not enjoy their worldly lives anymore, they serve forever as a
light to guide England through the war.

structures particularly in the fifth stanza. He repeats They in reference to the ... Show more content

The Miracle Of Jesus Research Paper
In Exodus 3:29, the Lord God called the nation of Israel a stiff necked people; thus considering
Israel s obstinacy, and history of rejecting many of God s chosen, it becomes of no surprise that
Israel would also reject Jesus. According to the New Testament Scriptures, Jesus performed
many signs and wonders to authenticate being the Son of God and Israel s Messiah, however,
and as recorded by the gospel writers Matthew and Mark (Matthew 12:22 37; Mark 3:20 30),
Jesus miracle of casting a demon out of deaf and blind man was attributed to Beelzebub or Satan by
the Pharisees (Pentecost, 1981). Hence, the miracle not only caused dismay amongst the Pharisees
but the people who witnessed the miracle as well (Pentecost, 1981). Unfortunately, the people of
Israel were taught through the law by the Pharisees that the sheep should follow the shepherd;
therefore, the people of Israel were unwilling to accept Christ unless the Pharisees accepted Christ.
Regrettably, the Pharisees as shepherds quickly convinced the sheep that the miracle performed in

Thus, in Matthew 12:46 50, it is recorded that Jesus rejected the idea of a blood relationship to the

is one of the many themes found in Homer s Epic poem The Odyssey. Among others, some of the
themes I saw in it were the following: sometimes you must be humbled to succeed, just because
something is bigger than you doesn t mean it s better, and don t let pride overtake you. The one big

Evaluating Credibility And Its Impact On The Society Of...
Introduction
When a person reads a source for information the reader wants that information to be reliable so
they could trust the source meaning the reader needs their information source to be credible.
Credibility is important because everyone on the planet could write on a topic, but that does not
mean that what they wrote is true and should be believed in. People who write more often than not
have an agenda. To make the reader feel a certain way or to make them believe in what the author
told them too. Evaluating credibility means looking into the author and their agenda, the publisher

Analysis of Behind Grandma s House
In the poem Behind Grandma s House , Gary Soto writes about an experience he had as a young
boy. He speaks of himself as being a nerdy Spanish boy who wants attention. He screams out for
attention by acting out in negative ways. Most know, to bring attention to one s self, one can
acquire it by acting negatively or positively, but negative attention brings punishment. Soto
obtains his grandmothers attention at the end of the poem, but he may have regretted it. Gary
Soto s Behind Grandma s House is a 1952 free verse poem that uses imagery to suggest the
speaker s perspective of the story. From the beginning of the poem, Soto depicts himself as a ten
year old who wanted attention. He also depicts the era by which the setting of the poem is written.
He states, At ten I wanted fame , the wordfame standing for his intense need for attention (1). In
the next line he said, I had a comb / And two Coke bottles, a tube of Bryl cream (1 2). By this he
meant, he had thick glasses and slicked back hair, and for that era, thick glasses were for nerds,
and the slicked back hair was the fashion in the 1950 s. In addition, a slang word in the 1950 s was

Essay about Osteoarthritis and the Ideal Treatment
Osteoarthritis and the Ideal Treatment
Osteoarthritis, or degenerative joint disease, is a form of arthritis characterized by the breakdown
of cartilage within joints. Cartilage serves to provide cushion at the ends of bones, and when the
cushion is not sufficient, as in osteoarthritis, the bones rub together. As a result, osteoarthritis
sufferers are constantly plagued by stiff, swollen, and inflamed joints (http://www.arthritis.org

Glucosamine stimulates production of glycosaminoglycans and proteoglycans, the two essential

the same molecules as glucosamine, and essentially serves the same purpose. The long lasting pain
relief and functional improvements that are reported by users of the supplement come as a result of
anti inflammatory agents, an increase in cartilage building activities, and a reduction in the
enzymatic destruction of cartilage. Along with a termination in the progression of joint damage,
reversal of damage is also highly likely. The rapid pain relief upon initiation of a glucosamine

The Handmaid s Tale By Margaret Atwood Essay

October 19, 2016
In the society that we reside in today our voice is a source of power and our words allow us to
have a say in our lives especially for the female population. Many years ago a woman s voice was
to be kept at a whisper if even heard at all. We had no opinion on who we wanted to be or on how
the world saw us. We were simply women who took care of the children, cooked, cleaned, and
catered to the men of our home. But we broke out of that silence and women created a name for
themselves, Independent. We could do anything a man could do and maybe even better and we
have now lived in that freedom for many years. But author of the novel, The Handmaid s Tale,
Margaret Atwood pulled her readers attention showing them a world in which the woman s
voice was again taken away. Atwood revealed how powerful the voice is. In this novel women
no longer have a say in what happens to them or their bodies. They were forced to bare the
children of the men they are assigned to and were stripped away from their past lives. The only
key to a small piece of freedom was through their language, through their use of words to paint a
different picture than the one in front of them. That is what main character Offred did to survive
the world she was living in. She paints pictures with her words and even though she did not have
power over her circumstance her words gave her an escape from everything. It gave an escape for
all the

You will ameliorate learning since your brain stores what you hear and correlates that to the image of your notes; the process of active learning. Market Power In some markets, a single buyer or seller may be able to control the market prices. Market Power can cause inefficiency because it keeps the price and quantity away from the equilibrium of supply and demand. Externalities The impact of one person s actions on the well being of a bystander. Since buyers and sellers do not consider these side effects when deciding how much to consume and produce, the equilibrium in a market can be inefficient from the standpoint of society as a whole. 2.What happens to consumer and producer surplus when the sale of a good is taxed? No matter how expensive bread may become, people will still rely on it as a necessary staple of survival. On the other side of the coin, when demand is more elastic, the deadweight loss will be greater since the demand curve is flatter. The less people rely on a service/product the more likely they will be to forfeit its usage. 4.What does the domestic price that prevails without international trade tell us about a nation s comparative advantage? The effects of free trade can be determined by comparing the domestic price without trade to the world price. A low domestic price indicates that the country has a comparative advantage in producing that good and that the country will become an exporter. A high domestic price indicates that the world has a comparative advantage and that the country will become an importer. When a country becomes an exporter, producers are better off than consumers. When a country becomes an importer, consumers are stronger than producers. Product Description Of Rat And Monkey Based Experiments Essay Adipotide: Product Description Adipotide is a synthetic peptide that possesses anti obesity properties. this peptide particularly targets and destroys specific proteins that constitute the surface of blood vessels that support white fat (adipose) tissue hence interfering with the supply of blood to the fat cells and resulting in their adoptosis (reabsorption and metabolization). Adipotide was initially referred to as Prohibitin TP01 (Prohibitin Targeting Peptide 1). It is a peptidomimetic that was synthesized by American scientists as a potential therapeutic drug for obesity and its amino acid sequence is CKGGRAKDC GG D(KLAKLAK)2. Adipotide has a molecular formula of C111H204N36O28S2. Peptidomimetics are tiny protein like chains that imitate peptides. It is an experimental drug for weight loss. It was developed in a way that enables it to bind to two receptors, prohibitin and ANXA2 which are found in blood vessels that support white adipose tissue . In rat and monkey based experiments, Adipotide has been shown to bring about rapid weight loss in both mice and rhesus monkeys. In general, Adipotide has been observed to bring about weight loss by reducing fat tissue especially in the abdominal region), rapid metabolic changes, and decreased food intake. • 7. The Importance Of Antibiotic Resistance In Antibiotics A serious public health problem is the rise in antibiotic resistance. Some bacteria that can cause serious disease are becoming resistant to most commonly available antibiotics. Antibiotic medications are used to kill bacteria, which can cause disease and illness. A major contribution to human health is antibiotic medication. Many diseases that once killed people in the past can now be treated effectively with antibiotics. However, it has come to the surface that some bacteriahave become resistant to commonly used antibiotics. Antibiotic resistant bacteria are bacteria that are not controlled or killed by antibiotics. They can multiply and even survive in the presence of an antibiotic. Most infection causing bacteria can become resistant to at least some antibiotics. Bacteria that are resistant to many antibiotics are known as multi resistant organisms (MRO). Methicillin, a form of penicillin, was introduced to counter the increasing problem of penicillin resistant S. aureus. At this time Methicillin was one of most common types of antibiotics used to treat S. aureus infections; but in 1961, British scientists identified the first strains of S. aureus bacteria that resisted methicillin. With the price of college skyrocketing, it is extremely common to take out student loans (from the government or private institutions), all which come with interest. What Factors Contributed To The Civil War INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS Strengthening U.S. Foreign Power and Influence The Union defeat of the Confederacy resulted in a strengthened U.S. government, which led to the defeat of the French in Mexico, the confederation of Canada in 1867, and the purchase of the Alaskan territory. After the fall of the Confederacy, U.S. leaders were able to deploy troops to the Texas Mexico border to help resist the French intervention in Mexico. This pressure, combined with Mexican resentment, led to the French Emperor Napoleon II to abandon his quest for Mexico. The Civil War was the result of basic differences between the free and slave states. After Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860, vowing to keep slavery out of the territories, seven states from the South seceded from the Union and established their own nation. Lincoln and most of the people from the North refused to recognize this new nation as being separate from the U.S. The war was triggered at Fort Sumter near Charleston, South Carolina, when the Confederate Army claimed this U.S. fort as their own on April 12, 1861. From mothers to world leaders, we can all learn from this genius song from a folk singer/songwriter. Bob Dylan touches upon several topics and events going on that time period ,but the main theme of the song is that the world is changing and that it is inevitable. This song pretty much sums up what Bob Dylanis all about. Showing his opinion on serious matters like war and politics, and other less important topics like today s culture. I went and researched about Mr. Johnson ,and what I found made shocked me. Johnson s administration passed an unprecedented amount of legislation, with much of it designed to protect the nation s land, air, water, wilderness, and quality of life. Even though he meant to help he angered many people. The reaction to his Great Society and to broader trends helped spawn a dramatic political polarization in the United States that some historians have labeled a conservative counterrevolution. The thing that made it worse was that he had to blame to the 58,000 american lives in the Vietnam war. • 11. The Transformation Of The Land In O Pioneers, By Willa Cather According to National Geographic, 40% of the Earth today is farmland soil being manipulated to feed the 7.6 billion human beings on this world. We have taken over this world like ants swarming to a piece of rotting fruit, without much thought to the organisms that have been on Earth long before us. Our lives may be easier in that we do not have to forge for our food or water anymore, but with the stress of today s world, was the tradeoff worth the natural land? Willa Cathers novel, O Pioneers! brings attention to the way we choose to use the land, whether it is in our best interests, the land s, or both. The characters in O Pioneers! demonstrate how in order to maintain a successful relationship with the land we live on, it is necessary to be able to both adapt to the land and mold it to fit our physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. The land around us provides us with food, water, shelter, and nutrients, but we cannot live in an untouched environment. We must mold the land to meet our physical needs, yet we cannot be too ruthless and overwork the land. In O Pioneers! the farmers settle on the Divide, farming and forcing the land to produce the food they needed to survive, but the majority of the farmers have no luck. After a full twenty years, the tables finally turn and Alexandra explains to Carl how she has become rich from doing almost nothing at all: We hadn t any of us much to do with it, Carl. Fuzzy Systems Essay Preface This article is written for an intended audience of undergraduate or graduate students, this article provides an introduction to, and an overview of what fuzzy systems are. Presented in this article is an acknowledgment of the contributions that fuzzy systems are making to the Artificial Intelligence discipline, as well as examples of fuzzy systems which are in use today. Abstract The concept and implementation of fuzzy systems is part of the natural course of evolution for humans who are a part of a society where access to information is plentiful but efficient utilization of massive amounts of information is power. The origin of fuzzy systems can be traced to the first introduction of formal logic by Aristotle. Logic introduced by Aristotle was considered to be bilevel logic of either true or false, and is acknowledged to be the foundation of most of the growth of the sciences which are known today.[1] However, it was Plato who is accredited with laying the actual foundations for fuzzy logic when he proposed that there exists a third area beyond true and false where things were not always true or always false.[3] Digital computers in use today are based upon the ideas of Aristotle, where a single bit of information found in a computer is considered either true or false, that the transistor gate is either turned on or off. Many fundamental aspects of society today are based upon concepts of right or wrong, innocent or guilty, a member of a group or not a member of some group. The human race has toyed with and enjoyed the concept of a perfect society, where everything was easily classified into good or bad, right or wrong, true or false and has created computers to respond to that type of idealistic and simplistic world. This philosophy has served the human race well as computers were created to operate in very predictable ways that were ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

People have many assumptions as to what warrior s expectations were back in the Anglo Saxon Era. Warriors did whatever it took to finish their duty. In the poems, The Seafarer, The Wanderer, and Beowulf, warriors were big parts of the stories. Learning about what their expectations included was very helpful in determining the kind of people they were. Warriors in the Anglo Saxon Era were very loyal and brave to their kings and or higher powers. Warriors were also known for traveling great distances in certain circumstances. In all three poems, the expectations for warriors remained the same. Bravery can be shown throughout all three stories. Bravery can be described as courageous behavior or character. Epic heros were not the only people known for their bravery. Warriors showed bravery just as equally. In The Seafarer, it states, But there isn t a man on earth so proud / So born with greatness, so bold with his youth/ Grown so brave, or so graced by God ( The Seafarer 39 41). They allow us to describe and explain such movements how they form and organize, their agendas, the extent to which mobilization or counter mobilization process succeeds or fails in different situations, and how they evaluate strategies and policies in the light of specific outcomes. Self evidently, the terms and perceptions and the dialogue that we bring to bear must be in coherence with the particular social movementthat we are studying. Theories neither ascend nor activate in an empty space, they have an itemized background behind their emergence and they are revolutionized in response to the realities of the subject matter. As a result of the writings and research there has been a lot of debate regarding diverse perspectives of various researchers. Advances and defense of the existing school of thoughts were also presented along with the emergence of new school of thoughts altogether. Comprehensive research related to social movements is being conducted not only in the field of social sciences, but also in politics, communication and history. A focus that I have taken as a criminal justice major at Bluffton is looking at school shootings. I have always found them an interesting subject, especially when trying to figure out why they occur, and in what manner. Looking at the world especially the USA there are a lot of what we consider Mass Shootings happening per year. According to PBS.Org, the San Bernardino shootings in California was the 355th Mass shooting in the USA in 2015. This means roughly that there was a mass shooting every single day happening. What is a Mass shooting exactly? Four or more people are killed or injured by gunfire (Christopher Ingraham). That means that in 355 shootings four or more people died in these incidents, sometimes even more. This makes the liberals go absolutely nuts over gun rights, saying that they need to be taken away. On the other side of things, it makes the total conservatives hoot and holler about how we need to have more guns to protect ourselves. But what if guns were just cut out of the situations completely? What I am going to be doing is taking the mainstream mass shootings that we have had and adding a restorative justice piece to them to see what that would look like. Furthermore, the Megalomania shows an asymmetrical balance, while the Sign shows a symmetrical balance. Moving to the cultural context of both artworks, both artists influences are tied back to their roots. Thus, Rene Magritte who was born in Belgium (Encyclopedia Britannica) has great influences of his mother. The sculpture of Megalomania is tied to his mother s influence, for it is representing a woman s body. Some of his artworks subjects are women. On the other hand, Victor Brauner was born in Romania. Brauner was active in an avant garde movement in Romania which deeply influences his artwork such as the Sign (Wikiart). The era or the time of creation of these artworks are not far distant from each other. The Megalomania was created in 1967, and the Sign was created in 1945. During those years, surrealism was then practiced by many artists. This movement was introduced in the 20th century, specifically in the early 1920s (surrealism.org). Based on my direct observation, both sculptures exemplify the era of surrealism. Thus, Magritte and Brauner at that time had to explore this form of art as well. Meanwhile, these two in the round sculptures have similarities and differences. The similarities of the two sculptures are the following: both medium are bronze, both artistic styles are surreal, both have smooth textures, both shapes show 3D aspects, and both artists ... • 31. Binyon For The Fallen For the Fallen by Laurence Binyon is a third person tribute to the British men killed in action. Written following the Battles of Mons and Marne, the first heavy fighting of the war by the British, this poem deals largely with the finality of death for the men who fought at these battles who no longer will enjoy friends and will never grow old as their surviving comrades do and those who did not fight do. It describes soldiers as sons of England and recognizes their sacrifices as acts of martyrdom that the survivors of war and those at home are not to forget. In its final two stanzas it recognizes their place among the stars, beings that will never truly be gone. 2) In this poem, Binyon is trying to say that there is a justification and glory in the death and that these young men who gave their lives have not died in vain, but in the cause of the free . He also insists that despite the fact they may not enjoy their worldly lives anymore, they serve forever as a light to guide England through the war. 3)Binyon personifies England as the mother to the dead soldiers her children, as well as parallel structures particularly in the fifth stanza. It is an account much more typical of someone who was not a soldier during the war as it features no references to violence and isn t cynical in nature, and ignores that survivors of these two battles had already begun to suffer from forms of PTSD(Gilbert CH. ... The Miracle Of Jesus Research Paper In Exodus 3:29, the Lord God called the nation of Israel a stiff necked people; thus considering Israel s obstinacy, and history of rejecting many of God s chosen, it becomes of no surprise that Israel would also reject Jesus. According to the New Testament Scriptures, Jesus performed many signs and wonders to authenticate being the Son of God and Israel s Messiah, however, and as recorded by the gospel writers Matthew and Mark (Matthew 12:22 37; Mark 3:20 30), Jesus miracle of casting a demon out of deaf and blind man was attributed to Beelzebub or Satan by the Pharisees (Pentecost, 1981). Hence, the miracle not only caused dismay amongst the Pharisees but the people who witnessed the miracle as well (Pentecost, 1981). • 39. Essay about Osteoarthritis and the Ideal Treatment Osteoarthritis and the Ideal Treatment Osteoarthritis, or degenerative joint disease, is a form of arthritis characterized by the breakdown of cartilage within joints. Cartilage serves to provide cushion at the ends of bones, and when the cushion is not sufficient, as in osteoarthritis, the bones rub together. As a result, osteoarthritis sufferers are constantly plagued by stiff, swollen, and inflamed joints (http://www.arthritis.org /answers/diseasecenter/oa.asp). It is a relatively common condition, with an estimated 20 million American sufferers, most of whom are elderly (http://webmd.lycos.com/content/article /1668.50297). In the making of the supplemental tablets, glucosamine is combined with sulfate or hydrochloride. (http:/ /webmd.lycos.com/content/article/1677.57489). How does it work? Glucosamine stimulates production of glycosaminoglycans and proteoglycans, the two essential building blocks of cartilage. Advocates of the treatment say that artificially synthesized glucosamine supplements can jumpstart glucosamine production within joints. Choindroitin is made of many of the same molecules as glucosamine, and essentially serves the same purpose. The long lasting pain relief and functional improvements that are reported by users of the supplement come as a result of anti inflammatory agents, an increase in cartilage building activities, and a reduction in the enzymatic destruction of cartilage. Along with a termination in the progression of joint damage, reversal of damage is also highly likely. The rapid pain relief upon initiation of a glucosamine ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The Handmaid s Tale By Margaret Atwood Essay Ni Robi McNair Cuny Ela Ms. Milliner EES21QH 09 October 19, 2016 In the society that we reside in today our voice is a source of power and our words allow us to have a say in our lives especially for the female population. Many years ago a woman s voice was to be kept at a whisper if even heard at all. We had no opinion on who we wanted to be or on how the world saw us. We were simply women who took care of the children, cooked, cleaned, and catered to the men of our home. But we broke out of that silence and women created a name for themselves, Independent. We could do anything a man could do and maybe even better and we have now lived in that freedom for many years. But author of the novel, The Handmaid s Tale, Margaret Atwood pulled her readers attention showing them a world in which the woman s voice was again taken away. Atwood revealed how powerful the voice is. In this novel women no longer have a say in what happens to them or their bodies. They were forced to bare the children of the men they are assigned to and were stripped away from their past lives. The only key to a small piece of freedom was through their language, through their use of words to paint a different picture than the one in front of them. That is what main character Offred did to survive the world she was living in. She paints pictures with her words and even though she did not have power over her circumstance her words gave her an escape from everything. It gave an escape for all the ...
