In the following, we will examine three progress notes from my work with Rhonda throughout her
treatment, a final clinical summary of the work, and a self reflection section on not only the
challenges, but also what was learned from our work together.
First, we will examine my initial clinical note on 8/15/16 with client, Rhonda Smith, session one.
During this first session, I collected Rhonda s demographic and intake information (Murphy
Dillon, 2015; Reamer, 2001). This included a signed consent for treatment, which we reviewed
and all her questions were answered, as well as signed medical releases for previous therapy and
agency records, i.e., DVIS, CPS, CASA, that will be requested (Murphy Dillon, 2015; Reamer,

professional boundaries and expectations, and how to contact me during business hours, and after
hours crisis lines, and on call assistance phone numbers for resources if it is outside of my business

Together with the above information, I collected a comprehensive history of Rhonda at our initial
session. She is a thirty six year old Asian American, born in Los Angeles, but moved to rural
Arizona when she was five because her father took a job on a cattle ranch. Rhonda s family were
refugees that moved to L.A. after the Vietnam War ended and her parents are first generation

energy. All have pros and cons that are pretty much well known. Solar is renewable but
expensive. Natural gas is cheap but damages the environment. Nuclear has a large power
generating capacity but is dangerous and coal abundant and cheap but is just too dirty. What if
there was a fifth type of fuel? A so called invisible fuel. The cheapest and cleanest energy choice
that is often over looked, efficiency. An article in The Economist by Chris Madden reviews and
discusses this invisible fuel at length. The article begins by discussing the strives that have been
made regarding efficiency since the 1970 s but mentions that there is still significant

that reviews the cost of saving a kilowatt hour vs the cost of producing a kilowatt hour. The report
states that in some cases saving a kilowatt hour can cost as low as one sixth of a cent. According to

This week at Tufts, I was able to intern both Friday and Saturday. Going into this week, I
imagined going in two days in a row would be beneficial to my experience. I thought that I would
be able to build a stronger connection to some of the children that would be staying at the
