If you drive from the south in Elkins headed toward Davis and Elkins College, at
some point one of the historic landmarks you will observe that stands out to you is
a glimpse of the beautiful Halliehurst Mansion sitting up on a hillside. The sight of

Women s rights have always been, and will most likely continue to be, an extremely
controversial issue. There are many individuals that, still to this day, do not believe
that men and women are equal and therefore, shouldn t be treated as such. However,
despite the constant opposition, women s rights have come a long way over the last
several decades. During the 20th century alone, women gained some of their most
monumental rights, in my opinion. Some of these rights include, but are not limited
to having the right to; vote, be payed the same amount as men for equal work, and not
be discriminated against due to their sex, religion, race, etc. Also during the 20th
century, women were granted reproductive rights, which I will be focusing on for the

people need to stop ignoring this problem. Around the world, Tropical Rainforests

The rainforest is home of many living creatures and provide the world with many
supplies such as, food, clean water, and housing, but soon the population of those
living creatures will decrease and those supplies will be gone. People need to end
deforestation globally because of the main effects it has on earth like the social,

Social effects are one of many of the big effects of deforestation. The most
threatening social effect that deforestation has on most areas is in the medical

rheumatism, diabetes, muscle tension, surgical complications, malaria, heart
